Family First Conference - February 24, 2021

yo it's the kid it's pastor ivan and i am here for the first family teen improvement session now look we got us some time on the calendar we on the schedule y'all so let's make this moment count it's going to be a great moment but before we get started i have some very important people to honor first i would like to thank our senior pastor dr ah she is doing an amazing job and i just want to thank her for allowing us to do this here and be in this building this awesome building and keep teaching the gospel she's pushing us to the next limit so thank you dr i next i would like to thank apostle and pastor b my grandparents are so amazing i really don't know what compliment not to give them that's really crazy you really some people you really just be struggling to find compliments for these people got too many compliments i love them so much i am so honored and thankful that apostle would have even thought of this moment for the teens to just have this moment for us so before we get started let's clap it up for apostle thank you so much we love you lady b we love you thank you so much so let's get into this family first teen improvement moment today our topic our general subject is obedience obedience now i know this may be hard i know it's hard look look don't even don't even do that to me don't tap out yet we're talking about obedience and i'm going to talk about it from every level i got a couple questions that i'm going to read off to you and then i'm going to dissect these questions and answer them through this message so get ready get ready get ready let's get it let's get it let's get it what happens when a teen or you disobey what effect do does your disobedience play on your family or even your parents should the parents be correcting you as a teenager how should you as a teenager respond to correction what happens when you obey why as a teen should you listen if you feel as though your parents have no clue of what's going on in the current time why does god require obedience from us as individuals and as teenagers i hope you're ready cause then there's the question so we finna get juicy i'm gonna answer them all i don't want you to get mad i don't want you to get offended put your attitude aside there's not a time for that all right no games we're gonna talk so let's get it ephesians six chapter six verses one through four ephesians chapter six verse one through four it says children obey your parents in the lord for this is right honor your father and mother this is the first commandment with a promise i want you to underline that if it's in your bible this is the first commandment with the promise the rest of it says that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land fathers do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in discipline and instruction of the lord now i know as children and as teenagers we like to jump right to that last part that first part of verse four father's the bible says you're not supposed to provoke me as a child let me tell you something the next part does say bring them up in discipline and instruction so before you jump too far ahead keep reading so normally when we are thinking of obedience we are thinking of obedience from our parents normally we remain under the care of our parents until marriage or until college because really after college a lot of us go off and start living through this verse we can see an interesting piece of information children who honor their parents will be blessed by god here on earth and in eternity small children must be taught to obey and honor their parents through training and instructions by their parents older children must learn that even when you grow up you must continue to show respect for their parent counsel and honor them in old age watch this exodus chapter 20 verse 12 it says honor your father and your mother that your days may be long in that land the lord god is giving you exodus 20 verse 12 is telling us that this commandment includes acts of kindness sometimes it may be material support if needed but most importantly is it is the respect and the obedience to one's parents god forbids us to use unkind words disrespectful attitudes and harmful actions in exodus 21 verse 15 we can see god required any person who hit or cursed their parents to have severe consequences this alone shows us the importance that god places on sin as disrespect for the parent disobedience write this down disobedience is a calculated choice to deliberately go against the will of god and the order of god i'll repeat that again you ready disobedience is a calculated choice to deliberately go against the will of god and the order of god there are three types of disobedient there is deliberate disobedience this is intentional disobedience in every situation you choose you can do what you want to do you go completely opposite of what you have been taught and what you are know what you know to be righteous you just do your own thing there is distress disobedience parents this is when the disobedience is happening out of emotions and trauma although emotions and trauma are not excuses for disobedience it only enables the disobedience to thrive in the mind through acts of emotions did you catch that distress disobedience is disobedience that is caused through emotions and trauma it is happening out of emotions and trauma although emotions and trauma are not excuses for disobedience it enables the disobedience to thrive in the mind through your emotional actions number three there is detectable disobedience this is when people around you can just tell from the situation or the scenario that is you this comes when disobedient becomes a trend or a habit now a lot of the time we see detectable disobedience in a form of line but detectable disobedience can come from situations too there are four things that are guaranteed when i disobey god there is an inescapable consequence there is unnecessary delays in the plan of god for my life i begin to misrepresent the kingdom of god number four i have the potential to disobey in other areas i want to take a look at a couple of these there are inescapable of consequences that doesn't mean the consequence never comes but you might be living in the consequence so long for so many years that you forgot that it was a result of your disobedience unnecessary delays in the plans of god i had a personal unnecessary delay in the plans of god because i was choosing to keep myself in a relationship that i didn't belong in but we ain't we're gonna go there it might be your relationship check it misrepresent the kingdom of god this is when people know who you are what you stand for but yet and still you go against everything that you believe in this is when people start looking at you as ain't you that christian that was supposed to be but you not and then and you do but we and then that's the misrepresent the kingdom of god there is the potential to disobey in other areas this comes when we as people as teenagers decide that we're going to start doing other things in other areas well i don't want my mama to know about this so i'm gonna do this and i don't need them to find out about this so i'm gonna do this and i gotta kind of cover this up so we're not gonna do this when they around but i'm gonna talk like this when i'm here these are the potentials of disobeying in other areas there are notable violations of disobedience eli has a moment with his sons i want you to listen very close because in the end i'm going to tell you how this results back to your parents eli is having a moment with his sons eli is supposed to be protecting the temple his family is working in the temple with him but his sons are misusing and mistreating their authority in the temple they're doing sexual acts with young women in the church they're acting out while church is going on they're doing a lot of things behind the scenes but the father knows and he fails to correct it at the end of the story it is said that eli is put in the position to where everything is taken from him because he would not correct his children don't put your parents in a place to where they might get in trouble with god fooling with you my grandparents and my mother they have told all of us something growing up i'm not gonna get in trouble with god fooling with you because your foolishness is not to deter the plans and the things that god has for the other people that are counting on us for you to act like a fool and it be put on us moses has a violation where he disobeys a direct order from god moses is told hey this is the obedience this is what i want you to do moses chose to do half he's told to speak to the rock but moses gets so so upset he strikes the rock twice god like i didn't tell you to do that now the miracle takes place but now moses is put into a position where he cannot see the promised land it might be the action that you take that may miss your blessing it might be the word that you said behind your mother's back while you were mumbling when you walk away that you might miss that scholarship it's the little moments where god has to see your true character of who you want to become watch this deuteronomy 28 verse 1-2 it says if you fully obey the lord your god and carefully follow all his commands i give you today the lord god will set you high above all the nations on earth this is the blessings of obedience exodus 2012 we're going to go back to it real quick it says honor thy father and thy mother now look we read this so many times and it's like we miss the honor that your days may be long in the land that the lord your god is giving you he gives you long days and long time in the land because of the honor not because they're your parents don't miss it proverbs 29 15 it says the rod and reproof gives wisdom but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother that means without correction and without instruction you can be left to leave shame because you know no better proverbs 1 verses 8 it says hear my son your father's instructions and forsake not your mother's teaching why does god keep saying all of these strong verses for just as though the obedience of one man the many were made sinners watch this watch watch don't don't miss it so also through the obedient obedience of the one man that the many will be made righteous romans 5 19 so if one man can get it right and do a multitude for others if one person gets it wrong you could be setting in a motion some generational things a lot of the times we like to blame other people for the generational curses that we have but we are honestly the ones that are in position to stop them watch this obedience obedience is a calculated choice to comply with and carry out the will of god there are three types of obedience there is constrained obedience this is when you fully choose to go against the will and order of god this is an intentional decision to do what you desire this means you are only making decisions that benefit you that's selfish number two is partial obedience this is when you know what you should do you go about doing the right thing but not to the fullest capability or action that's a moses obedience right there then there is willful obedience this is when you have a no matter what attitude that i will choose to do what is right god's best only comes through obedience obedience is a learned and developed behavior if i always receive from god when i am completely obedient i am put in a position to where i can demonstrate obedience to others i was asked a question the other day on the live how do i push upon my friends or push them closer to god a lot of the times we want to push people into things and stuff that we aren't even doing ourselves how can you tell someone else that you live at such a high standard and you live by such a high moral code but when you get mad and frustrated you cuss out the same teacher i'm just being honest with you it takes a little to gain a little how can you expect your friends the people around you that you like to follow you into this pathway with god and you disrespect your mother when she tells you to clean your room you disrespect your father by not even listening now i know that some of us may not have fathers or mothers in the home but there is still a respect level that you have to give to the person that is in guardian over you this rule does not apply just because they're biological see a lot of the times there are people that are placed in our lives that are meant to help us but because of our attitudes and our disrespectful tendencies we miss out on the wisdom and the blessings that can be imparted into our lives teenagers we have to lose this feeling that society is teaching us more than our parents know there is a point in time where your parent had to be 13. there's a point in time where they had to be 18. there was a point in time where they were 21 there was a time when they were 23 24 30. these are the same times that you might be going through same age but there is a cultural difference not a system difference the bible doesn't change because the time changes i hope you didn't miss that the bible doesn't change because the time changes jesus is seen walking this perfect life on earth and he has a moment in the garden where he's asking for something to be removed from him i'm not saying that you won't have moments where you want to give up where you don't want to do it or where you might mess up that's not what i'm saying i'm not saying you got to be perfect but i'm saying obedience and respect is the way for god to see you right where you are right now at the age you are it doesn't take much i want to show you some people who had notable obedience the choice to obey god is the choice to spend your days in prosperity in your years in pleasure there is no substitute for obedience your success in life depends on your obedience to god and his word every act of willful obedience must be rewarded by god learned obedience is the key to fruitfulness learned obedience is the key to fruitfulness a lot of the time we watch our parents do a lot of things but do you watch how they obey do you watch how they sacrifice do you watch how they tend to you and listen to your instructions because you're their child and they love you so much they tend to your almost every need but as you get older you start seeing things and you start learning about different parts of life but if you would stop comparing society to the god home that you're raised in maybe you'll start seeing things like your parents there is notable obedience from abraham abraham is asked to do something so big and if he would have missed it he wouldn't have been the father of many nations noah is asked to do something in a time that it seems like it is literally unimaginable i want you to build an ark because it's about terrain rain excuse me um you know it ain't rained in years bro no but i want you to build this arc and noah decides that he's going to do it noah didn't miss his promise hezekiah watch this hezekiah becomes a king when he is 25 years old this is in second kings second kings chapter 18 hezekiah becomes a king when he is 25 years old not only does he leave with a reputation of being a great king he is a king that was successful in whatever he undertook that's in the scripture shadrach meshach and abednego they were faced with a time where they could have disobeyed they could have went outside of what they knew to please society they could have for folded and been a part of something that truly wasn't them they could have made a decision to say hey this could turn out bad these three boys decided my faith means too much my obedience to god means too much i'm not saying that every decision you make will be perfect i'm not saying that you won't make mistakes but what i am saying is that it takes a level of respect and obedience for you to get to where you want to get to i'm almost done don't don't don't lose it obedience is difficult but you may have to be obedient to a boss your parents a pastor and definitely to god and while all of these things are very hard to do our natural instinct is to do what we feel and think is right just like the israelites when they were sitting in the desert they began to get flushed right now like all right we finna change it up cause we ain't rocking with this and y'all ain't telling us about this we have a decision to make obedience a habit when something does not make sense to us or is difficult to comprehend we immediately put it away as something we should not do deuteronomy 5 33 it says walk in obedience to all that the lord your god has commanded you so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess there's a lot of lane that you haven't possessed yet as a teenager and i'm telling you there are key moments where you can miss your possessions because of your disobedience your parents aren't being too hard on you or trying to hinder your life they're trying to steer you in a direction that they've already promised god a lot of the times our parents have made promises with god that we may not even know about but it is your assignment and your purpose to be obedient i had a time in my life where i personally decided i was going to disobey my disobedience kept reoccurring and it turned into a habit that ended up getting me sent to military school this time in my life i had six and a half months to sit down and think about all the decisions i had made i was in this place for the first two months mattered everyone else not accepting the part that i had played in my own disobedience i felt like everybody else could have made different decisions but they chose not to all the long i was the one that was in total disobedience i fast forward i'm out i'm i'm back into the world and i'm no longer in military school i'm about to go off to college i go off to college and i start going back into this trend there are things that are happening around me that have never happened around me before in my life i've put myself in situations that i've never even thought about sometimes before that i laughed and said i would never be in those positions i fast forward two more years i end up at another college playing basketball because i followed a moment of obedience i followed this moment of obedience that god put in front of me from one phone call a lot of people like to miss the phone call and sometimes it may not be god's voice directly in your ear or on your phone sometimes it might be your parent it could be your grandparent it could be your aunt it could be your uncle hey i think you should go do this my grandfather gives me a call i'm sitting in the barbershop about to get my hair cut and i'm talking to my friend to tell him how i'm going to tell my parents i had just signed a contract to go to italy and cook for six months i had came home with a plan of my own already for apostle to call me and say hey check this out i think you should go here i in the moment i was so out of it i was like why would i do that why in the world would i do that ought to turn around and have some of my childhood dreams answered by god i made a decision to obey the voice that had called me i'mma go to rhema i go off to this school and i begin to play college basketball a dream that i had had as a child but because of my disobedience i had altered my course to get there but once i got there and i had made the decision to be obedient when the call of god answered and came i would have missed out on a childhood dream i'm telling you don't let your disobedience your disrespectful attitude your disrespectful tendencies miss you getting the blessing that you've always dreamed and prayed for willing obedience leads to righteousness it's my last thing and i'm going to tell you something so intense me standing here right in front of you is an obedience a willful obedience that led to righteousness i was not tithing because i was not believing in everything that i see and the moment that i decided to obey the word of god obey the the advice and the covering that was set before me my life changed instantly i want you to do something for me right now really quickly i want you to pull out your phone and i want you to text t obey t o b e y to 7 1 4 4 1. i want to send you a confession i got a couple things i want you to give me i want you to give me your name because i want to be able to pray for you while you say this confession daily weekly over your life i want you to do something really important for me i want you to start off by saying this confession once a week for the next month once a week for the next month i want you to confess obedience over your life and watch and intentionally make decisions to make god move on your behalf again i want you to text t obey to 71441 i want you to say it we're going to say it right here right now father i love you with my whole heart my body and my soul i thank you it is because of you that i have been made righteous i have a right to come boldly to your throne of grace where i know i find mercy and favor to help me just when i need it thank you father daily you are causing others to go out of their way to give me preferential treatment because your favor surrounds me as a shield i have the mind of christ and i hold i hold the thoughts feelings and purposes of of your heart in my heart i am a disciple taught of the lord obedient to god's will with great peace and undisturbed composure i obey and honor my parents because it because it is the will of god concerning me and god's promises to bless me with long life father in jesus name i thank you that my parents are righteous your word declares their seeds shall be mighty upon the earth i choose from this day forward to walk upright before god in jesus name amen obedience is the key for your future it starts with you making an intentional deliberate act to choose to walk in the purpose that you have been called i love you thank you for having this moment with me walk in obedience so that you may get to ultimate righteousness peace well what's going on good evening how's everybody after that word i trust that you're gonna walk in obedience y'all know i'm a proud mom but i think his grandfather may be a little bit more prouder than i am but this is our family first conference and i'm so excited this year that we are bringing it to everybody and so i've got some extended family on the set with me uh i've got to my right bishop edmonson all the way from new jersey yes hey i'm happy to be here out and pastor ivan did great he did phenomenal just just fyi you know you know you know what i'm saying just you know i try to take credit for it and to my love my bf you know he's in town y'all pray for me to say it again oh i just want to let go because i know if i don't say it he was gonna have an issue my ace that's what i should say well i feel like i would bishop evans with my b.f i feel left out bishop i can't say it he's probably one of my outside of he's one of my favorites all right all right that's is that better that's okay yeah cause she did kind of leave you out i feel redeemed thank you thank you i'm just no he's one of my favorite brothers don't tell the other brothers he's one of my favorite brothers i said one of but the bf yeah you know yes how are you dr i woman of god pastor how are you i'm ready for three year anniversary yes happy anniversary thank you we made it we made it i'm so excited to be here like bishop edmonson said just you know to be with you all uh is always a treat but to be here to share in this amazing conference that has a different twist this year i think is going to be so exciting because everybody all families you need to come be a part of this for the next three days or the next two days and tonight absolutely phenomenal it's going to be really good and their wives are here so you're going to probably meet them matter of fact somebody the akas the akas are in the house akas represent but the senior pastor always adult yes uh on another note on another note on another note um so no that we we're gonna have a good time tonight but i want you to prepare for your family life to go to the next level and so i wanted to specifically say that their wives are here and y'all know i love both of their wives and i love lady kim and lady kim and she already know she already know she just ignored both of us she really does but she has joined in she has joined in she has joined in and i think because she's an aka there's a whole other level of petty that she has to be but it's okay you know mother see [Laughter] and i wore pink for her tonight you wore pink for her because family's first did you like the way i did that well i i wore a red and honor dr eyes three-year anniversary thank you thank you thank you thank you y'all let's get let's get started bf didn't about the whole event because normally this is something that's just for pastors their spouses and their families so we normally do it very close but this year dad really wanted to open it up to all families because a part of his prophetic word this year was that families would be under attack yes and so knowing that you've got to get the tools so how excited are you because i know sometimes we want to be selfish right right how excited are you about him opening this up to everybody i think it's amazing because families will get now to have imparted unto them what we always get when we come to the conference and because apostles spoke this prophetic word about families being under attack i think it is appropriate and necessary that families hear this word and get this blueprint so that wives and husbands can have their faith confessions and their prayers and then with pastor ivan doing for the youth you know i i think it's so important and so you know i i said it before dr but i want to encourage families pastors you ought to listen social media is all we have right now i want to encourage every pastor to get it on your social media it's going to be on ours to invite all of the families in your church to share in these days together you will not find a greater teacher that's going to impart into you about family and its importance you know and i i i you know what mom and dad been married for 43 uh 44 44 years i think 44. i think in the 40s in the high 40s right right right 25 yeah 45 because i'm 43 i'll be 44 this year okay god you're young well okay but but you know um i think they they've been married for 45 years and some people teach on family but don't live it they live it and one of the things that we've seen we've been privileged in the first family of conference to sit under their feet and hear them but now dad's opening it up to everybody and his prophetic word that families are under attack is so on point so many families being attacked from so different levels and there is an anointing on this conference from lives of experience of building a family that glorifies god so again as you know bishop mckissick said you want to get the word out don't hog it to yourself get the word out share it like it host it do what you got to do open up your window and scream it if you have to because this week is going to be a week that's going to just change the lives of individuals and families i love it i'm looking at the comments and so i see many of you all let's double this number and let's get more people watching call your aunties your uncles and send this to them make me have a watch party on facebook let's increase the number on youtube but tonight is a night like you said for everybody to have an up close and personal seat it's going to be fun but it's going to be uh informational it's gonna be life-changing it's gonna be practical you know sometimes you have conferences or people have conferences and everything is over your head right and there's no application there's no practical tools to apply to your life tonight you're going to get the application of how to take your family to the next level because we have to invest in family families require work yes and that's the hallmark of this ministry this ministry has always had revelation but then drilling it down to application absolutely always and so i agree they're going to get we're going to get application we're going to leave out of here ready to as dad says go smack some bears yeah and then you know texas and and we take a moment to texas has last week was the winter storm you know and in pressure moments like that it is easy to go at your family you know i was cleaning my closet and the you know the boys we were all in like one space together and i just about had enough by that point and i was like look like and i had to pause like they're going through this just like you families have went through the pandemic there there have been a lot of things that have affected try to affect our joy and peace and yes and what i'm believing for you this week is that you get your joy back and fail yeah i received that and you're right so many families you know in this pandemic you're in the house with the same person at the same time and there are so many people who are great partners in ministry but are not partners in the ministry of marriage right and so and i feel a burden for pastors this week as well that pastors are going to be challenged and stretched yes and joy restored which will lead to ministry restore i think people are struggling with the space that was there that helped them maintain peace and when that space is gone and now hell's breaking out what do you do who do you call you call apostles and pass the beast and i'm gonna call them right now and turn it over to them so i give you apostle and pastor bridgie god how exciting we are so excited and so thrilled that you're watching um i can't see the numbers right now i guess i could look at your phone but make sure you like and share tell someone to like and share as well and share with all of your followers because we want you to definitely uh experience the family first conference on tonight you know what i'm so excited that we open it up to everybody and not just pastors and first ladies well you know uh when the lord told me about the attack that families were going to be under then he said now you know he doesn't give a prophetic word just for us to be all by it right but for us to do something about it exactly so i thought the best thing we could do was to open up our conference that we normally have in february just for for senior pastors and their families let's open it up to everybody so we can equip the body of christ and equip people who want a better family right and you know so i'm really excited because we also have the opportunity for those who are pastors and families they there are some exclusive times just for them oh yeah so we didn't leave them out you know they're going to be included as well so i'm excited about that and then of course i'm excited to hear the word because i know you're going to always have a word for us on tonight i know it's going to be fresh i know it's going to be a blessing to so many people well you know um i i haven't kicked it off real good oh my god i was so proud you did an amazing job and i saw one of the comments said that this is not just a message for teens this is a message for all ages and i totally agree with that one of the most important things that you're going to get out of this uh is this is our blueprint for building an amazing family this is so important and i'm giving it to everybody but now just because you registered doesn't mean it automatically comes you have to request it right that is why they'll have this on the screen throughout throughout all of our to tonight i'll be referring back to it because in it is it's it's what you need in order to begin to put in motion those things that will help you maximize your family experience right you know it's going to have a blueprint for the family prayer card it's got a confession for wise confession for husband confessions for parents and as i was going through it today i asked them to add confessions for children it's going to have a confession for the unmarried state blueprint for our family scriptures and then keys to maximizing the family experience and it's not just a bunch of confessions and a bunch of reading guess what else they get what else they get maximizing the family experience the audio so they'll get an mp3 so it's seven seven seven mp3s and uh the lesson here is just amazing because at first you said well i don't have a family well it shows you how everybody got a family but everybody's a part of some type of family but it shows you how to get along with you first yes and then how you can get along with others so it's not just one lesson but it's seven lessons yeah and you know i think during this season because of the pandemic we have learned how to deal with our families we may not necessarily be maximizing it so i want to tonight and uh this is going to be you know that word incredible some people say well that's that means it's not credible no that that's that word is a word like fox you know fox has multiple meanings based on its context we're talking about something that's going to be astounding yeah one of the astounding things is we have a lot of pastors who are hosting this with absolutely and it's not just were saying how how blessed they are because we could have a live worship and so it's it's been so good i believe we're going to have a tremendous week and we're going to start off tonight with this lesson that god's given me as a foundational lesson and it's going to prepare the way for the entire week so let's pray father in the name of jesus we just want to thank you for this time together around your word and we thank you father for the perfect teaching ministry of the holy spirit and we believe father that he will manifest himself as the teacher causing the complex to be made simple that is our prayer now lord you know us name by name you know us family by family and you know a situation by situation and therefore it is with great confidence that we believe that you will tailor this word for every family every situation and every person that is our prayer so lord in advance even before we began we give you alone all of the praise all of the glory all of the honor and all of the adoration for all that shall be accomplished tonight and for all that shall be revealed in jesus mighty name amen and amen praise the lord now if you have not shared this i want you to do so because tonight as i said is going to be kind of a launching pad for the rest of the week so i want you to go and share this and uh i saw as i was looking for several of our host pastors i i saw your comments there and it's us working together that's going to to bring the impact that we need to have so i want you to clearly understand this is a teaching moment that i have that i'm going to go into um my whole thing is i'm not trying to impress anybody i just really want to help you because that is what i needed at one time in my life i just needed somebody to help me somebody to show me what to do and as lady b said we promised the lord lord if you just show us we'll show everybody else are you all ready tonight are you all ready are you all ready uh and listen i've got my screen here uh say stay in my weapon i got my screen here so i may be walking over to my screen a little bit to talk to you as we we share this with you amen we're going to start if you're going to title this i want you to title this investing in building the family in best investing in building the family so uh that's that's what we're going to how we're going to move into this investing in building the family now uh in luke chapter 6 luke chapter 6 and verse 48 here's our foundational text and if you have received any of our information from our mailers or anything like that on you've seen we use this scripture this is the scripture that the lord had given me uh to talk about this whosoever cometh to me and heareth my sayings and do with them i will show you unto whom he is like he's like a man which built and house and dig deep now i want you to keep that in mind he said and dig deep and laid the foundation on a rock and when the flood arose the stream beat behemoth upon that house and it could not shake it for it was founded upon a rock wow that is awesome and that's what we're going to do if you will build your family the right way and build your family on the rock and here the rock is synonymous to the word of god if you will do that storms will come that's just a part of life you know the winds the rains will beat against your house your family that's just a part of life but you'll come out all right you will still be standing throughout the scripture the bible uses the word house metaphorically for the family so when we see that we could read that as you know if a person is going to have a good family they've got to dig down deep and they've got to build it upon the word of god now the lord spoke to me last year and for the word this year is that our families would be under attack the families would be under attack let me give you an excerpt from that prophetic word it says be on high alert as the enemy will attempt to dismantle the family with deception to discredit the witness of the righteous resist strife resist envy resist jealousy resist judgment but intercede and invest in family you will see returns in 2021 in that awesome the enemy's defeat is in the in in your hands and don't forget it and that's what i'm that's what i'm i'm standing on that that god said listen you will see results if you will apply the word years ago when i'm in the little raggedy building y'all knew i was gonna put the building up there y'all knew i was i'm in the little raggedy rundown building and there the lord began to talk to me because i had been brought up saying that first it is first god then the church and then the family and my family was a wreck my family life my marriage life was a wreck it was a wreck because i had it out of order and so god spoke to me and he said now if you will get your family in order i'll take care of the church and i went okay really now that was contrary to what i had been brought up thinking but my thinking had to change and once i began to invest in my family now when i'm talking to the investor i'm not talking about just money but i'm talking about investing time in building a family relationship when i began to do that things began to change for me all around so we're going to title this or subtitle this the consecration getting ready the bible says in joshua chapter 5 chapter 3 and verse 5 joshua said unto the people sanctify yourself or consecrate yourself for tomorrow the lord will do wonders among you isn't that awesome and so he says now if you will consecrate yourself if you will get ready listen you're going to see some changes and that's what we all want so i have five simple little points that i'm going to walk through a step at a time number one will be and i love it the reality we must face number two is going to be the truth we must embrace number three will be the responsibility we must take number four will be the decisions we must make and then if we're a good class i'll get to number five which has to which which is number five is the expectations that take place did you get that so we're going to walk through this number one is the reality we must face and the reality we must face is that god has a divine design for family god has a desi divine design for family now unfortunately nobody told us that what we just we all got you know got married or just you know uh discovered america and we were in a family okay but how do you maximize that family experience now of course you know uh i only have a certain length of time to talk to you that is why i've encouraged everybody to get the blueprint uh for uh you know for me to to build an amazing family because i got more information in this on god's design for family but let me walk through just a few things about his design for family first of all family is my definition is a nurturing crucible of intimate relationship bound by common elements and purposes which provide resources instruction direction protection celebration support and fulfillment i know that's a mouthful but as we go through the week we'll break it up and we'll make it portable for you so when we look at family family it's very dynamic for some we're talking about the congenial intimate family for others it's the covenant family the church and it goes on the corporate family so when we talk about family it's a very dynamic term uh but as in this the context of what we're teaching now family has to do with this this congenial family this my my biological people amen now let's look at what god's design is god has a specific design number one what god wants family to do is to teach the fear of god and how to honor god that is what set abraham apart because the bible says god says i know abraham he will command his house after him number two family is to teach the philosophy of living by faith you're going to learn you should learn how to live and walk by faith in the context of family number three family is to have is to provide the nurturing for basic emotional needs i know you're talking about i didn't get that and found we gonna get to that come on don't push me now we're going to get to how you we will be able to uh reshape remake you know family we're going we're going to show you how to do that next families to provide protection during times of vulnerability when moses needed to be protected family was there amen now family is to provide forgiveness and restoration upon genuine repentance really that's right if nobody else will forgive me family ought to forgive me we find that in the prodigal son he comes back and thank god his father was there to forgive him let's look next family is to provide support and encouragement to excel and achieve so family is to be there if nobody else will be my cheerleaders i need family to be cheerleaders for me i know you're saying but i understand that you're in the dysfunctional situation that's why we got several days we can't handle this in one one session but at the end of it you're going to be all right now next finally family is a place where one can make contributions in the lives of others where you can make a contribution in someone else's life so when i look at family i don't look at all what family can do for me but what is my productive role within the context of my family amen amen and amen now under this the reality must we must face there's the documented devastation of the family experience now i don't really have to take a lot of time here but man i went through and man i began to look at all the devastating statistics that the statistics on divorce and the statistics on substance abuse the statistics on child abuse the statistics on runaways the statistics on domestic violence the statistics on uh uh depression and suicide i mean i mean they're staggering and i don't really think that i need to lay all of those out to convince you that families are in trouble amen now so when we look at the reality when we're spaced now let's turn the page and look at the truth we must embrace the truth we must embrace now listen to me child of god because this is vitally important truth for the believer is what the word of god says in john 17 17 it clearly says he says now you sanctify them purify consecrate set them apart as it were separate yourself uh separate separate them for yourself make them uh holy by the truth your word is true now i need somebody to to talk back to me y'all know how y'all talk back to me talk about him the word is truth for me the word is truth for me the word for me the word of god this is truth for me truth for me is not what cnn says truth for me is not what a celebrity says truth for me is not what fox news says truth for me is what the word of god says now in second timothy chapter 3 and verse 16 it says all scripture truth now is given by inspiration of god and is profitable for doctrine that's the order of god for reproof that is the dismantling of error for correction for instruction in righteousness that the man of god may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works so i know with crystal clarity when it comes to uh building my house building my family building my life i build it on the truth and truth for me is the word of god god has so many things he says about his word that his word is everlasting heaven and earth pass away but his word won't pass away it's enduring it's empowering it's edifying amen amen the word of god so we're going to walk through this word and show you how to apply it in the context of family we're going to walk through the word this is our textbook this is the this is the textbook from which we will get our therapy from this week in jesus name now i want you to stay with me now because i'm about to take you somewhere kingdom redemption is the goal of these truths what kingdom redemption is the goal of these truths our first point was kingdom revelation uh from god is in the truth but now kingdom redemption is the goal of what do you mean king of the difference now jesus came that we might have life in heaven more abundantly came to redeem us out of the fallen state that man was in and man watch this have the opportunity to live above the fallen y'all stay with me stay with me now because really before you can help others you're going to have to know how to help yourself yes all right now our redemption watch this affords us to live exceptional life we are not like the world please listen to me we're not we we are special to god watch this and because we're special to god we have to know how to renew our minds and we renew our minds from uh with the word of god so that we are not conforming to the what the world says stay with me it says and be not conformed to this world romans 12 and 2 but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so all transformation will is going to take place by the renewing of the my transformation of your home transformation of your life is going to take place to the degree that you are willing to watch this renew the mind that you may prove demonstrate what is that good acceptable and perfect will of god now first we want to start with you amen now please i'm not judgmental please i'm not trying to judge you anything like that but i know where i was you know i people watch this i'm talking to married folk now we get married because we're selfish amen we always look on how the person can benefit us and we all get married for that reason i got married to bridget because of what i wanted a marriage relationship for you know how i thought it would advance my career i'm here we going hey you know you're going to throw rocks at me if you want to but that's the case and you did too you got married because of how it would benefit you watch this and what we do is we go into a relationship wanting that relationship to do for us what only god can do and that is the whole self-esteem issue that interferes with you having good relationships really it's that self-image that you have the bible talks about how the the 12 spies went out to spy out the land uh in the book of numbers and they came back and the uh ten spies came back with a bad report and there were the uh two spies joshua and caleb who came back with the good report now the 10 10 guys they all saw the same thing joshua and caleb saw but they came back and says liz listen we were grasshoppers in their sights yeah yeah they said we were they they said now look we are like grasshoppers and they said that they thought the way they saw themselves worked the way other people saw themselves and that's true today that how you see yourself how you judge yourself is how you think others are judging you and so it comes this thing about self-esteem stay with me child of god because self-esteem is how an individual views values and validates himself in the arenas of life which affects behavior factors how they act the belief factors their acceptance and the bonding factors their associates so how you see yourself your self-worth your self-esteem is what you have to work on first all right i'm not denying that you got some dysfunctional cousins i'm not denying you got some dysfunctional your your marriage partner may be dysfunctional i'm not denying you don't have some dysfunctional children amen but i'm saying what you got to do now to start because god will not allow the dysfunctions in others lives to hijack your fulfillment glory be to god somebody ought to say amen to that god will not allow the dysfunctions in others lives to hijack your fulfillment hijack your satisfaction and hijack your purpose in jesus name so what i have to do i got to renew my mind because my mind watch this has been trained for to give me value based on something that is erroneous all right self-esteem watch this is mentioned throughout the scripture because the bible tells me i am to love myself that's it the bible says i am to love myself the bible says i'm a new creature and i should reign in life the bible teaches me and shows me that you know having esteem issues and self-value issues is common moses had it i mean gideon had it and and jeremiah had it and yet god did wonderful things in their lives so i'm gonna tell you just because you may have been suffering from low self-esteem and you may have been suffering from this low sense of worth and value and significance doesn't mean that your future cannot be brighter let me help you tonight because i believe tonight will be breakthrough for you now self-esteem is measured should be measured by scripture it should be measured by scripture and but unfortunately it's not initially my self-esteem is measured by the world's value and that's why the scripture says let's not be conformed to the world but let's be transformed by the renewing of your mind so what is this world system the parameters of the world system uh it's all about comparison it is based on number one my possessions and so a lot of people think i have worth and value when i have stuff and when i have money but you don't have it you don't have stuff you don't you're comparing yourself with others and and they have more stuff than you have it's based on my position yeah my position gives me a sense of worth and value but you don't have the position you don't have that all right and others you know have that it's based on my proficiency how i perform and you just you you you know you don't have the talents and i'm not putting you down but i'm saying see if you use this as your metric you're going to always come up short because these are always changing and then it's based on your presentation how you look amen and you can't change it much amen it is what it is you say well if i was white but you're not white you understand what if i was black no but you're not black what if i was a you're not hispanic you god a god shaped you made you just like you are but let me tell you see this is erroneous this is erroneous and listen i want you to see what god's value system is all about because god's value system his parameters for the kingdom of god is based on redemption it's based on what he has done number one it's based on his price paid for us listen to me child of god because the price paid for one is the same price paid for all which means we all have the same value did you get that now i'm saying the price paid for us was the precious blood of jesus and that price paid for one was paid for all number two it is based on his potential through us my value is based on how i can perform with god's help and y'all know what the scripture says i can do come on talk back to me i can do what all things through christ who strengthens me and then his my value my worth is based on his possession of us i like to use this one i like this this at this point that uh you know the glove that michael jackson used to have that little sequence glove making that thing probably didn't cost over you know over 20 dollars it wasn't it wasn't but because he owned it oh my god the price goes through the roof so because god owns us our value goes through the roof amen and amen now so what the truth that i must embrace i must embrace that this is how i judge my worth and my value not how somebody else is treating me not about what others have that i don't have but i'm going to establish my worth and value solely based on those three things let's put those back up there let's go back on there number one the price paid for me i got to get established the truth that jesus paid the blood his blood he was made his price his life was faith that's why i'm valuable number two his potential through us i can do all things through christ who strengthens me you might need to say that a whole bunch oh i can tell you that's in the that that is in did you order this yet come on down you need to go on i'm giving it to you free but that's in it and then in the in the kit there are confessions they'll make every day because we got to build your self-esteem we got to get you ready for the fight and that is what joshua said to them y'all get ready we're getting ready to go to war and i'm telling you we're getting ready to go to war to help you build and maximize the family experience it's based on his possession of us we belong to him don't let the devil mar your self-esteem don't let him do it don't let him do it he'll try to do it but don't let him do it let's go to the third point now the third point has to do with um the responsibility we must take i love this because it's not enough to just know the truth it's not enough to face reality but now what is my responsibility your responsibility and people don't like that word responsibility because they think that it is about blame no this is not blame but this is about being responsible to your situation first timothy first corinthians chapter 10 i love this there is no temptation unless this word temptation is better translated trial and test so that means there's no trial no test no problem that you have taken under you but it's but such this common demand all right all right watch this watch this uh it is vitally important now they have the uh american standard version up there but but listen what i want you to see is it's it's it's clear uh there's no temptation taking your says it's coming to man but god is faithful who will not suffer who will not allow you to be tried to test it above that you're able but will with the temptation also make a way or an escape that you may be able to bury so with crystal clarity in the scripture it tells me several things now i know some of you all have your bibles now i want you to look at the king james version of this thing because that is what's so powerful it says number one that what you're facing is common to man you're not the only one who you know who grew up as an orphan you're not the only one who may have never been adopted you're not the only one who was adopted you're not the only one in a dysfunctional situation so let's not cry popo me but let's look at what the word of god says it says but god is faithful who will not suffer who will not allow you to be in a situation that you are not able to handle now what does that mean that you are responsible so that's what i'm talking to you about tonight when i say that you're responsible i'm saying you are able to respond to your situation no matter how negative it seems no matter how discouraging it may seem you are you you you're able to handle it i gotta tell you you know when god told me this years ago i'm going wow really somebody tell me what he was telling me and whatever god says it's i mean it's it's true without error so i understood that right where i was i was able i was able to pull together family and when a man's heart is right toward god and his desire is to please god god will bring him into the company of the people he needs to know and the knowledge of the things that he needs to know that are critical for his success and destiny in life listen to me now because what god began to show me was this responsibility number one it is uh my but my perspective on being responsible had to change that is not that i am the blame but i am now able to respond to what i'm going through it's a personal responsibility that i'm responsible to cast the cares on the lord i'm i'm responsible for doing that i'm also responsible watch this i'm responsible to confront family cohorts we're going to get into that now you don't want to miss i mean it may be i think it's tomorrow night lesson it may be tomorrow's night lesson uh uh uh it may be tomorrow night let's talk about communication confrontation we're gonna talk about that and then i'm personally responsible to celebrate family conquest we talk about celebration too because family i mean uh uh you know one of my kids say we work hard but we play hard and i'm gonna show you how to play hard as well amen now so then i understand that it's also a partnership responsibility that god is looking for somebody you need to hear this come on now god is looking for someone who will be the catalyst in that family to turn it around he's looking i know he looks bad i'm telling you i know it but god is looking and you are probably the one i want you to get the kid in your hand the blueprint i want you to get this because it maybe it may be that god wants to raise you up to be the person that invites him to go to work in your family and so it's your partnership with god that's going to make the difference now let's move to our third point you are such a power you are such a good class watch this our third point is watch this is the decision that we must make did y'all get that first of all it was the reality we face and we face the reality that yeah that family you know that it is the will of god for me to have a good family and that reality i must understand the truth i must embrace is the truth that what god's word says regardless of how my situation looked i'm going to believe the word of god and that's what's going to bring change and then that is the responsibility i must take i must take the responsibility of applying the word of god and that leads me to this next one is the decisions that we must make now what do you mean the decision we must make that i have to activate faith to fix the family but that's a tongue twister there i got to activate faith to fix my family come on somebody come somebody somebody gonna memorialize that i have to activate faith to fix my family now that's what i'm going to be teaching you this week that's why see this lesson was kind of paved in the way laying the foundation but you will learn the mechanics of faith that you have to use in order to fix family situation or to fix your self-esteem you're going to learn the faith to how to do that again you say you keep pushing this okay and now i can see you complaining about me pushing you getting the uh the uh the uh blueprint if i was selling it but i'm not trying to sell it to you i'm trying to give it to you because i know what it's going to do in your life and as you get this and hear the word of god and make those faith confessions and as you stand on the word of god you're going to see god go to work in your family things are going to change i guarantee you that in jesus name so now so we talk about faith to fix my family we don't teach you you know of course the elements of faith because the elements of faith is so important abc's of faith they will talk to you about asking the believing the confession and the uh the demonstration and the expectation uh we're getting to that tonight but when we talk about the uh uh the uh confession what i say out of my mouth is valuable what i say out of my mouth has much value now um we're going to talk about that because to fix family situations and family relationships had to fix you you got to change your mouth yup gotta change your mouth you gotta quit cussing those children out quit telling them you like your overlord you like your old low down daddy you maybe not not like the daddy but you don't need to tell them that amen amen all right you like your lazy you like your old lazy uh dad no no no no don't do that don't tell your husband that huh no you don't need to do that right so one thing we're gonna do is learn how to get control of our mouths amen praise the lord all right and then uh we're gonna learn how this whole demonstration because an expectation now when i'm in faith come on class when i'm in class i have in my in faith i have five expectations number one i'm expecting when i'm in faith i have five expectations i am expecting when i'm in faith number one a plan of action god's going to give you a plan of action that's it he's going to inspire your mind inspire your thinking give you a plan of action how to fix some dysfunctions in your life and in family number two god's going to give you wisdom wisdom is the correct application of knowledge ma'am you know i have a bible study uh a prayer bible study listen on monday nights but last night at night we talked about wisdom it was powerful how god is going to inspire your thinking when you ask for wisdom for your situation so he gives me a plan of action he gives me wisdom when i'm in faith now this is my expectation i'm expecting the favor of god for god to raise up somebody somewhere to use their power their ability and their influence to help me all right so i'm i'm believing for well the plan of action the wisdom of god the favor of god and watch this i'm believing for the miraculous what i'm believing for the miraculous now what do you mean by that i mean and unless god told me in in when he gave me the uh the prophetic word that there are people whose hearts gonna change this year i mean that you've been praying for that have never changed you never saw any sign of change and god's gonna cause their hearts to change now when you're in faith of course you have to respect the will of the other person but god's been working on their will and they're going to yield themselves to god i'm telling you you've got to put your faith on it and then watch this the final expectation is strength to endure until change comes that's right i need strength to endure until change comes and some things you got to wait out yeah some things but you're going to have to have you will have the strength to wait some things out and that's going to be the key yes i'm not trying to tell you my thing's going to change overnight i wish i could tell you that and back it up but that's not necessarily the case some things you're going to have to wait out you're going to have to pray and you're going to have to wait them out but it will come to pass now the good thing is that god says that we're going to see uh results this year hear you how you gonna say that i said it because god said it i said it because god said it that this is going to be the year you see changes in your family will anybody receive that i'm looking at my i'm looking at did anybody receive that come on is anybody going to receive that that i'm going to see changes in family relationships this year not next year this year amen why because god says so god said it amen okay i look okay i don't care how it looks you know earlier when we were uh we were um everybody was getting ready i walked in the building massive building here uh when we dedicated it years ago we dedicated on a certain day god told me to dedicate it on that day and uh we dedicated it when we dedicated our mortgage uh five thousand seven seat our term amazing but a week before we were supposed to dedicate it that week before god told me that god gave me the date if you hadn't given me the date i definitely wouldn't wouldn't hell on to the date whoo lordy this this the a week before we had a month's work left at least a month worth of work left in my natural mind it did not look possible it was so impossible looking i had them lock the doors the sunday before the sunday we were supposed to dedicate it no chairs were here we got 5 000 chairs in it no chairs was here no ceiling was here nothing was here all i had was the word of god that i stood on and glory be to god he brought it to pass if i hadn't seen it with the belief i'm telling you that same way i don't know how dysfunctional your situation is but i'm telling you i got a word from god that this year is gonna be a year of change and transformation my god my god and so there's the authority of faith to fix the family what do you mean the authority of faith the authority of faith is we must exercise authority over satan's encroachment on my thought life amen he i'm not here i gotta i gotta i gotta exercise authority over that get him out your thoughts i got to exercise authority over satan's watch this uh enticements of my tongue but yeah it may give me some kind of relief to cut somebody out but i'm going to stop it may be a belief to give them a piece of my mind keep it all uh but i'm not gonna do it all right i'm not gonna throw away my faith with my tongue and then i'm gonna exercise satan's uh exploitation of my temperament my attitude i'm gonna keep an attitude of faith in jesus name and now my final point listen boy you've been a good class you've been a real good class listen to this now that's the expectations that must uh that that takes place so where have we come from we've come all the way from the reality we must face the truth we must embrace the responsibility we must take the decision that we must make and now the expectations that takes place amen all right watch this i have number one acute expectations all right what do you mean by that that is i have some right now expectations i have some immediate expectations i'm expecting some things to change and they're not going to take long my breakthrough is tonight in jesus name or y'all listening to me what do you mean now what is this what number one it is my perspective that will bring me peace amen amen my perspective is gonna bring me peace when i understand god's working on it when i understand how to work on myself that alone is gonna bring me to a place of peace i expect my prayers to bring me peace i'm not going to be walking next week with trouble in my heart no no no no no listen this week i'm going to my prayers this week and boy we got your prayer requests i began to look at all the yeah i got them and boy about i think several we had several hundred already no prayers i'm gonna get an agreement with you your prayers are gonna bring you peace so number one what's gonna bring me this acute this immediate preach my number one my perspective number two my prayers and number three his promises are going to bring me peace oh glory to god god made a promise to you amen and his promise is going to bring you peace you're going to have this subtleness of heart you're going to know how to rest in the lord you're going to and to my son-in-law terry said you're gonna know how to step back and watch god work amen amen so number one i have some chronic expectations and then number two i i have some i have an acute expectation that's short term and now i've also have some chronic expectations that's long term job 36 and 11 says if they obey and serve him they'll spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure i hope you were on early and heard my grandson teach that thing boy it was powerful but look at the look at the long-term expectation i can have when i'm obeying god if i obey and serve him i will spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasure so i expect long term watch this i have a i have i expect to have a long term focused peace that is my peace is long-term crop because i'm going to focus on the right thing amen secondly i have we expect to have you know long-term family prosperity amen oh yes yes long-term family prosperity and then finally i have we're going to expect long-term family pleasures we're going to enjoy this ride ebay we're going to enjoy this ride now listen child of god this is so important and boy god showed me this years ago and it brought joy to my heart on this journey and i know it's going to bring joy to your heart when i tell you this and listen it's been there all the time in fact i was talking to a group of pastors the other day and i was encouraging them and i said to them that god has a way god has a way of using the very thing that the devil tried to use to destroy you and to frustrate you god will use that same thing to promote you help me today lord jesus that's i mean that's how god works the very thing that the devil thought he was going to use to take you out the very thing that the devil wanted to use to frustrate you the very thing that the devil wanted to use to cause you to throw in the towel the very thing that the devil thought he was going to use watch this to cause you to give up god says i am gonna take that same thing and i'm gonna use it for your benefit somebody ought to say amen watch this so watch this you can walk through the scripture and you can see it goliath was gonna be used to traumatize the children of israel amen amen but god used it i mean he comes out there with his sword and his spears and all that but god uses his sword there david picked up his sword and cut off his head the very thing that goliath was trying to use to intimidate david david used to cut his head off you better hear me the fire was used to intimidate the three hebrew boys amen to burn them up but watch what happened god used the fire took the heat out the fire and caused it watch this to give them a testimony and to burn up their enemies you better hear me the very thing i'm telling you the very thing the very trouble the very situation that you're in that is trying to traumatize you god's about this uh yes he is he's about to snatch all of the pain out of it and use it for your testimony the red sea was there to traumatize moses and the children of israel but god used it to get rid of a pharaoh cancel a debt watch this and to give him a testimony and then you go to calvary glory be to god yeah the blood was streaming down the blood was streaming down the blood was a sign that jesus was dying the blood was assigned as a sign that life was being taken out of him up but the blood jesus amen amen that same thing that was being used uh yes to signify his death that's the same thing that god used amen to give us lasting victory and redemption no wonder oh yeah i better stop no wonder that the psalmist uh picked up the pin and said there is a fountain yeah filled with blood drawn from emmanuel's veins see uh simmers plunge beneath that i'm talking about the same thing that the devil was trying to use to signify i got him now the same thing he was trying to use to say i got him now i'm killing him now that's the same thing that oh yo you hearing me that's the same thing that god is using now to bring our redemption amen oh the blood of jehovah all the blood of jesus it washes white as snow that's power uh wonder working power in the blood of jesus and i'm here tonight to tell you the blood still works hallelujah amen and amen so we're going to shout in advance that's what we're going to do we're going to shout in advance because the blood still works and the very thing that the devil has been using to traumatize your family and has been used to traumatize you god's about to take it and use it as a stepping stone do you believe that can you grab a hold of that if you can this week is going to be exciting this week is going to be impactful it's going to be like no other father in jesus name thank you for this word it has fallen on good ground and therefore it produces fruit in jesus name who amen and amen and amen now listen if you have never received jesus as your lord and savior i would be remiss in my responsibility as a man of god if i did not give you that opportunity so right where you are i want you to pray this prayer i want you to step into the family of god and when you do we're gonna embrace this truth i don't care where you what you've done where you've come from but listen the greatest thing that can happen tonight for you is for you to give your heart to the lord jesus christ romans 10 and 9 says that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the lord jesus and believe in thine heart god raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved and what the salvation is it's your spirit being born again made alive to god no your hands don't change your feet don't change but something does change on the inside and that's what i want to see happen for you so please listen to me now i want you i'm going to pray this prayer together but i want everybody all over our viewing audience all over the virtual audience i want everybody to pray i know you already say but just get in agreement that there are others who are praying who will hear this and who view this and it's going to mean something special to them dear god come on say it dear god i know without jesus i'm lost i believe your word that jesus died for my sins and i make him my lord i believe he was raised from the dead to validate everything he said so now i make him my lord and my savior now fill me with your spirit and power so i can live a life pleasing to you thank you father for saving me thank you father for placing me in your family now fill me with your spirit and power so i can live that's overcoming life in jesus name amen and amen come on let's celebrate come on let's celebrate now there is uh if you prayed that praise i need more i need you all to be very focused with me uh tonight um because you know to do everything we need to do it's about a hundred thousand dollars that's what our budget goal is uh really you know to put on this we have to do almost the same thing we normally do with staff and that sort of thing so i need you but we plan to give away at least 10 000 of these uh of these uh uh blueprints give them to them absolutely free i need your help tonight but i want you to help yourself so i said lord how do you always pray about it he says you tell them i want them to give a celebration seed i say huh he said a celebration seed i want them to give the seed they would give if they had already achieved everything they believed in me for whoa amen so that makes this a kingdom moment a kingdom moment what's a kingdom moment a moment when my obedience sets in motion some things yet the moment when my obedience sets the supernatural in motion and that's what i want you to do now how god always uses me is to have some catalyst givers those who are going to stand strong with me for my hundred thousand dollars amen i need some i need about 20 of you who be countless givers tonight no i just listen i just need everybody right now to just be in agreement i i don't i don't know you don't even know what i've asked for yet but i hope i believe that about 20 of you some of them will be pastors some will not be pastors some are going to be business people so i'm going to be just other people who will say i'm in agreement i want to see god work in my life and my family this year i'm going to show my celebration seed i want to be a catalyst giver catalyst giver i'm asking for 20 people to sow one thousand dollars 20 people to sold one thousand dollars and i want you to sow it tonight i really want to meet our budget tonight i believe we can i really believe we can't 20 people to do one thousand i passed this many of your passions you have you know that that that phone number where you can call us and let us know uh what you're going to do others you can just let us know i mean hey i believe you're going to do it because let's follow through we're going to show you ways to give in just me and that's what we're gonna do we're gonna obey god the celebration seed is what we're calling it and this is you're gonna celebrate that that you are believing god to do for some of you you believing for god you know to give you a miracle baby i'm telling you to be a miracle baby because people told you you could have children watch him do it watch him go to work obey god now you did you tell you are you saying if i give this god is going i didn't say that i'm saying you're going to give this as a celebration seed in advance worshiping god believing for a supernatural move i can't promise a miracle i wish i could but i can't but whatever that dysfunction is you're you're sowing a seed that god is where you're working it out so i'm celebrating in advance and boy when praise and worship goes in advance supernatural things happen so can i get my 20. i need 20 of you to stand with me now i'm doing 10 000. yes i'm so so you can't say what you ask no i'm i'm doing 10 but god told me to believe for 20 20 20. now many of you will be pastors and a lot of my pastors i'm i'm talking to you you know many times you would have to spend money coming here you all know that you'd have to buy a ticket live in a hotel and all that sort of thing and many times that's in far in advance of a thousand dollars so many pastors if you can would you sow into this tonight amen it's going to be impactful for i mean i mean it's really it's going to be impactful across the globe as we looked at how many people are really you know sowing into this i don't know how how many are viewing this so i need many of you all or so i knew many of you said okay so it's alright pastor i don't i don't have i don't have a thousand dollars well you can't steal a thousand if you don't have i just need you be in agreement with me for my 20. can you do that can you do that now listen i i need some of you who will be willing to sow 100 tonight 100 or more i want you to obey god a hundred or more now i said a hundred or more because some of you a hundred dollars is not a faith move for you amen it's not praise the lord that you're blessed that a hundred dollars is not a faith move for you but many of you it is but i need some of you who were so and god didn't give me a number so i'm not going to try to call out a number i'm not mathematically trying to figure it out i just want you to obey god now so uh and of that group that's saying yes i saw hundred i need you to raise it to 300. i got that from god to ask people to do 300. so listen where and i heard you say well you ain't got down to me yet come on you know we're coming everybody's got to participate what is your celebration seed is it twenty dollars is it fifty dollars is it seventy five dollars is it that fifty two dollars everybody let's show something tonight and so tomorrow i wanna be able to announce tomorrow we exceeded the budget in jesus name our budget goal we want to be able to say that tomorrow night praise the lord so are you going to do it i'm going to pray and then i'm going to throw it back to the uh the studio and they're going to be encouraging you more pastors i need you all to use that phone number that they have to call in some of y'all will be able to use you know online there as many of you all do on monday nights why am i monday night people i need some of y'all to say hey i'm with you here's my catalyst a catalyst seed and a kingdom moment ain't nothing like it i've done it so many times and i've watched god come through supernaturally so many times all because i didn't choke i don't say that boldly because i almost choked on one of the greatest seed i ever saw that turned turned ministry around turned i'm telling you oh my god our church around all because i obey god but i almost choked lady bridget was there to tell me obey god obey god cause i was about to say let's do half i knew what god told me come on don't judge me i was just gonna do half half for comfortable that was like it was it was still grip but it was comfortable grip but she said go and obey god i did and the rest is history god went to work and he began to move things began to manifest and it didn't take long what am i talking to father in jesus name thank you for this word and father just like we have received the word through the preaching moment i thank you that they received this word through the giving moment so lord i claim my 20 who will be catalyst gift 20 or more i hear you lord uh who will be catalyst givers who will give at that thousand dollar level and i thank you father in jesus name they'll be bold enough to declare it in the name of jesus lord i thank you for my pastors and and those who are doing those father who will who will sow over 100 those who sow that 300 seed yes those who are sow 500 those who will partner with us in this and let this be their celebration seed for the things they are believing for in their families those who sow the hundred those who sow fifteen for those father who will sow that sacrificial seed at whatever level in the name of jesus father we thank you and we call it done and they're going to show you how to give they'll put it on the never experienced before in our city never experienced before ever i don't ever remember it apostle says he remembers it snowing once before but i don't ever remember it snowing and it being where we had no power uh people were without power and then water pipes are bursting everywhere you know how do you all then go from that to this so we just uh tap into the grace that's the grace that we tell you guys about we tap into it yeah amazing yeah and i you know even with our pastor that's why i'm so i'm so blessed with dr i this is her third year of um of course her third year anniversary but her fourth year in pastry and she bounced back sunday morning like nothing had ever happened and her house probably got hit worse than anybody and so she she came out sunday swinging that bat preached a message on uh fully persuaded and talked about the spirit of mammon it was so amazing yeah he's like i'm not gonna let the devil punch me no not not at all so apostle i think we have what did i say so i want to encourage you to continue to obey god continue to give pastor edmundson you look like you're about to say something yeah i was just saying that you know i think when you were reinforcing what you went through last week yeah and being out here with y'all y'all don't look like y'all went through either somebody's lying or y'all got grace on your life we got grace you know you so you the way you tap into that grace is you have to seed into it right you have to sow into it absolutely being out here watching y'all it's incredible and we need to tap into that grace so it's worth sowing into to have that bounce back grace absolutely but you know it goes to what what he said earlier when we started you all don't just teach faith we watch you live fast and i think that's so important and to be a part and connected to that grace that we can now learn to live the faith we preach because it takes a lot a lot of faith to live through what you all just lived through yes yeah you know for me you know the i guess i one day i said you know i don't know if it's worth not having power or not having water because i grew up when i grew up even though i grew up like on the other side of the track of the ghetto we took a shower about morning and evening right so for me not to have a hot shower i was a little miserable i'm just going to be honest and i made it through every day until friday friday when they came and they got everybody else's water on they got pasta terry's water on they got dr eyes water on and even though she had a bunch of leaks when they got it on i was like oh they got water and then they they had a station in the house to listen out for leaks and i'm standing there waiting for the water to come on and i'm looking up and i don't hear nothing so like hey terry we in position i don't hear no water there's no water's on he said oh they're having an issue you're not gonna get no water today i was like are you serious i i really i mean i'm really of course i really want to focus on the moment right now you know we are able to do what we do because every time god has asked us to do something we've obeyed him oh absolutely and that's the key you know ivan was teaching it today and he was so powerful in teaching that that moment of obedience yes so what people see y'all say how y'all go through this it's because we have stored up obedience yes yes and that's this moment is such a powerful moment i don't know if you heard me in that sentence you to pray for people who have children i did yeah you already prayed that no i didn't okay but i told them that i would no no this is this is a moment for somebody and i know if you don't get pushed you're not gonna do it right it's it's easy just to look at it virtually get blessed and say well okay you know i'll do it tomorrow no no no need to do it tonight how did you do it right now that seed that god put in your heart and and and you know uh i call you mac but uh but you know rudy every time i don't know which is going bad where's rachel bishop no bishop every time i'm telling you every time god has given me a number that number is always in the house yes it's always there it's never it's never not been there wow you know uh and that's that's the key that that number i don't know where we are now i think we had 15 who acknowledged it i know many other people are going to do it but i know we'll get at least the 15. yes i mean at least the 20. at least 20. but there are so many more and i was looking at i was seeing some people wasn't so and they would they didn't if you don't have a hundred you can't see one right right but you can do something right and that's why on this first night this is the celebration scene yeah yeah so your celebration scene a lot of people admire ladybni but they have no idea of the obedient price that we paid got it we paid the price of obedience and that's that's what i'm telling you to do you're going to be amazed at what happens when you obey god don't postpone it i want you to do it right now that's what's so important you know dad i think john and i probably could testify hearing you talk about obedience and i'm sure both of us have had moments where god spoke to us in settings with you all to be obedient and i know for me sometimes i'm saying i can't do this right now and i've always heard you say that's when you need to do it right and my obedience has yielded so many blessings and so much god has done because i was obedient in the moment when i heard you say do something yes and i and so i echoed that be obedient tonight don't if you hesitate you'll talk yourself out of it be obedient right now sow that seed and watch how you'll set the stage for the supernatural for your family absolutely i'm sorry go ahead no i think that you know when you know god has told you to give yes right and then the enemy's fighting you right and you're sitting there and dad talks about all the time about not choking and what you have to ask yourself is why is the enemy fighting you so hard right now what's on the other side of your seed what harvest is waiting for you all that apostle talked about tonight is there but in this moment you have to obey god and i can attest you will never out-give god if you obey him you will see a harvest 100 right and now actually what i was the point i was getting to when i was telling the story you know women are going to tell the long part of the story i was telling a story about how disappointed i was on friday when the water didn't come on and so friday night apostle came on and he was giving everybody the uh telling everybody what was going on and so telling them that i'm getting ready to sow my relief seed so i said okay i'ma sow a relief seed too and so then um after i sowed the seed um i was like okay god i'm putting pressure on that seed and every seed that i've sewn in the past i'm being obedient and he said you need to sow another seed and i said huh and he said yeah what is most important to you about getting your water on and i said two things i said one i want to take a hot shower and then sunday i want to have a full meal without having to wash dishes with boiled water wow and so he said well what you need to do is you need to sow into somebody who's feeding people so i said i'm going to pay for 100 people to eat at a restaurant free wow so i paid for 100 people that you did a restaurant free and it was like 10 o'clock i never go to bed at 10 o'clock i said i'm going to bed because i'm just gonna rest in it and let god do it and then saturday i mean saturday morning about four in the morning the holy spirit woke me up and said pick up your computer and log in and go and look for every company that fixes water wells in the spring area and that was the plan of action that god gave me as a result of me sowing the seeds and so i began to look and i started it was 30 different companies and i started going down the list and some of them were like send us your your address send us their information you know and then give us a contact number for us to call you back so i did all of that then some of them say they open at 7 00 a.m and at 7 00 a.m i sit there watching the phone 7 am i start making calls and i start calling people back to back back to back and then this one guy called me and he went off on me i mean like he went off i mean he said i'm tired of y'all calling me don't call me anymore i got people everywhere that are waiting for water to come home and you're just one in a million of people that are calling me everybody needs one and i i was surprised in myself i said sir i said first of all i didn't call you before i said i didn't even call you at 11 o'clock last night because i was asleep at 11 o'clock last night i said i didn't call you from this number because nobody uses this number except for me i said so i know i haven't called i said now your website says you open at 7 00 a.m that is the only reason i called you at 70. i said but i understand i said it's a lot of stress i said none of us have been in what we're in right now i said but i tell you what i'll mark your name and your number and i won't call you again so hung up from him and then i get a call from another guy just as kind he said what's going on he said i'm five hours away he said i can't get there for five hours but i got a friend that can help i said you know i've already put my name into him waiting on him to call me back then the next call i get is the company that actually uh put our water well in and they said you're on our list we're gonna keep you on our list but we got like 1400 people uh we can't get to you da da da da i was like oh jesus christ so then i hang up from that and then the next call is the guy who literally almost cursed me out i owe you an apology i'm so sorry wow i shouldn't have done that wow and if i hadn't been calm i think it would have been the other way around but because i was calm because i obeyed god i did what god told me to call these yes and so our water got fixed on saturday all because of a seed and dad said tonight he said you may get you may get relief and cussing out but you're not going to get resolved exactly because you were restrained yes and obeyed god yeah you got resolution i was the one that blessed me yeah i was the one that blessed me yes yeah because i didn't get hype with him i just depended on my seat and that's why i'm saying to those of you who are watching don't ever discount the fact that god is telling you to sow a seed don't discount the fact that god is telling you to give obey god obey him yes that's that's building the key and that's it you know um and this is such a powerful moment i don't take moments like this lightly because our whole lives were turned around simply because we obey god obey god yeah in the giving moment lady lady pastor dr i taught sunday about the spirit of mammon how the spirit of mammon would try to talk you out of giving absolutely talk you out and get you to trust holding on to what you had rather than trust the god you're giving to you right yes and that was such a powerful thing and so i wanted to know you know if people were if people really got it it was a powerful message yeah it's one of the messages make you listen because she was you know she would she did she dug deep i was talking about and it wasn't a deep message but she dug deep to show that mammon sometimes is talking about riches and then sometimes it's talking about the spirit of man right and what she was so i asked some people i said yeah did y'all get that they said oh yeah we got it and one list i'm so glad she preached that cause when i get ready to give yeah i be hearing things telling me not to give you're trying to talk me out of my head i've been hearing that he says and now i know what it is yeah and now i know how to rebuke it so i can obey god i thought that was powerful amen and the reason i brought it up is because in moments like these that spirit amendment will rise up so you don't need to do it you need to hold on what he's trying to do is rob you of that super natural harvest yes yes i'm saying to somebody yeah you know you've been praying for um you've been praying for a child uh and you know somebody else who's praying for a child some of y'all gonna be you're gonna stand in proxy you're gonna do that i want you to sow that seed yeah i want you to sow it and obey god whatever god tell you to do amen yes amen whatever god tell you to do i want you to do it amen so i have another thousand dollar seed from pastor louis and veronica rogers one thousand dollars five hundred dollars pastor elgin and samson apostle samson and elgin rockmar uh 500 seed and i you want me to pray now or you want to no no you can you can go and pray now i mean i i heard god said that you know and if did they ever do that all the kids the soup the sp the uh the babies that are the babies that you pray for i think then y'all do something to have all of them come it's it was my 60th birthday it was how many hundreds of it is oh my god it's so many i don't know and many of them had and the reason i'm trying to encourage your faith many of them had reports from the doctors saying it's impossible right and uh if evan was here i have evan thomas he'd be testifying right because he was saying you know the doctors told him he didn't have enough seed and and she wasn't she wasn't gonna do it and they got a baby anyway exactly so the whole point is and i heard the lord in the temple yeah you got it and i know how sensitive this is because if you've been trying and been trying and got no no no yeah then you know why are you getting my hopes up yeah you know right hey right yeah i've never told you all this but my parents were told they would never be able to have children wow um both the doctor told both of them wow that they had medical conditions where they would never be able to have children wow and the doctors were dumbfounded wow when my mother came up pregnant so i i am you're a result of the result and the living witness that no matter what doctors may tell you absolutely that if you have faith and pray and believe and are obedient yes that's supernatural will happen yeah it will happen say that absolutely and i i sense this so in my heart right now yeah i mean since there's so much and somebody want a family yes they say okay yeah me and my husband about that but we want a family we want and i'm telling you it ain't too late never complaining never too late never too late too late i'm i know god's gone i know the supernatural is about to occur in your life i just you know hey i i just want you to obey god yeah thank you you know i think you know when you're talking about mammon you know so many times when we submit to mammon what we're really doing is we're declaring self-sustainment versus sovereign sustainment yeah when we will obey god with our finances in spite of how we feel and obey him we're saying god i need you yeah i depend on you and it takes us into the supernatural absolutely absolutely so i'm going to pray now and what i want you to do is i want if your husband and wife or if you're all together if the husband would put his hand on the wife's uh stomach yeah and then you put your hand on top of hers and then i'm going to point toward you and you know there's no distance in the spirit room and the bible says in psalms 118 he makes the barren woman a joyful mother of children and that their quiver shall be full of them and so that's what i'm going to be praying right now and so if you're as an act of faith if you'll do what i just instructed you to do so father in the name of jesus i've stretched my hands toward those that are watching father whether they're watching now or whether they're watching the days to come and i agree with them father god according to your word that you're the god of all flesh and that nothing is too hard for you so i speak to every womb and i command it to open up right now and i command when the egg and the sperm meets together to bring forth life and those that desire children father god i thank you that you'll cause everything that's out of order to get in line with your word not speak wholeness and health to that body and father we believe the report of the lord and father your report says that you make the barren woman a joyful mother of children and that our quiver shall be full of them and so father i thank you that you give every parent the wisdom of god and then father i thank you for those that have experienced miscarriage i thank you father god that they'll carry the baby full term your word declares that as tithers will not cast our fruit before the time in the field and so father i thank you that their fruit will come forth and then father i thank you for a happy healthy pregnancy and a happy healthy delivery no calamity no discomfort nothing father god i thank you father god for children being as olive plants around their table and we declare in jesus name that this night they'll mark this night as the night that it came to pass and so father we give you honor glory and praise for it in jesus name amen amen praise god amen we call it done amen and you know for those of you who are watching and you want to have
