all right i'm back and i'm more determined than ever to kill the f-22 this time i've given myself data link and i'm in the sukhoi 27 and by datalink i mean an aywax off behind me [Applause] who theoretically you should be able to see the f-22 and i should be able to kill him so there's the data link panel my rwr you can see 12 o'clock we have a hit right here data link still nothing but that's fine i'm confident he'll show up at some point and then we'll kill him um off on our 12 still nothing on radar you can see i'm in the high prf scanning up to about 100 miles or 100 kilometers technically i guess because we're on a flanker and still [Music] nothing [Music] that pink seems to be moving left a little i'm going off by that uh rwr in the bottom corner you can see that circle is almost completely full which means that f22 is not very far oh i lost it i don't know where he is anymore radar is not hitting me um last i saw he was directly off my 12 though he offset left a little bit and then he disappeared i'm getting pings again from the left good good good so we'll turn in that direction and i lost it again [Music] i got nothing i'm scanning down scanning up still nothing if i was him i'd be up high but i don't see him [Music] and you can see the rwr ping has disappeared take a quick look around here i don't see anything still look for some contrails maybe nothing [Music] well we'll turn back this way because this is where he was last i got a ping from him data link still showing nothing so aywax doesn't see anything let's try the electro optical mode so this would be kind of like a heat signature is what i'm looking for the eo mode can theoretically see out to about 50 kilometers i believe we're looking up and i still don't see anything [Music] this is starting to get a little bit concerning looking down still nothing i have no idea how far the f-22 is at this point i don't even have an rwr signal strength to work off of so i mean if he wants to kill me he has to put the radar on me and if he puts the radar on me i'll see it so basically right now i'm deducing that he's not even flying towards me he's flying you know away from me because if he turns his radar off it's very risky for him he'd essentially be flying completely blind what it's oh [ __ ] holy [ __ ] oh my god he's he formed a formation on me and there's f 22 right there oh my god oh [ __ ] left engine fire right engine fire hydraulics failure that did not go as planned [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right let's see what the hell happened there we got me in the red su-27 we have the aywax over here who was supposed to help me find the f-22 it turns out that the aywax also can't see the f-22 so that's very nice i think i can see him within 10 miles if i'm looking right at him maybe 15. um i remember back in the day i remember people saying they could see the f-22 at 30 miles so i don't know i've yet to see an f-22 at 30 miles so uh looks like he offsets and just goes around me and i ca i don't know if he turned his radar on or off but i would assume he turned it off for this i mean i would have got pings maybe i did get some because you know i got a couple pings in the video which is even the reason why i turn into him a little bit here um so i don't know if he was like trying to almost lure me in by turning his radio on and on or his his radar on and off i don't know maybe he turned it on to check on me i don't know man to see what i was doing for a second but uh he came up right here i had no chance never saw him we used the radar we used the electro optical system i had no heat signature but obviously because i wasn't looking at him i didn't know he was below me off my wing so i wasn't looking there and he takes the stealth of his aircraft and exploits it and forms up formation [Music] and i remember i just saw like a little glint of something in my mirror i think it was that was a left side mirror and i saw a little glint in it it looked like an orange something and turns out it was a cockpit of the f22 so i look back and all i see is this goddamn f22 formed up formation on me and looks like i actually saw him like he wasn't there for long i think it would have been quite embarrassing if he flew formation with me for like five minutes but uh it looks like he just got in there and then a couple seconds later i saw the cockpit freaked out immediately broke and you know popping the flares because it's obviously too close for an amram so i know that he's going to fire fox 2 so i start just dropping all of the flares and he's just sitting back there and he gives me a 9x which we all know are very resistant to flares impact at mach 1.2 and f22 wins so i really thought i was going to get them this time with the a wax but turns out that was not the case all right guys well thanks for watching big thank you to feisty for helping with this video and i'll see you in the next one bye guys you
