Equestrian Reacts to Star Stable! Let's play | AD This Esme

[Music] [Music] moments like [Music] hey everybody this is me and today's video so many of you guys have requested yes we have some more star stable content so this summer i've teamed up with star into the studio and get playing alright we are back in the studio i'm all set up um just started letting you guys know um i didn't even realize when i bought these headphones i had these a while but they perfectly match my merch so um the matchy matchy gods have been on my side today because i didn't even realize that these would match i just spontaneously thought oh wear this jumper it's purple that's cute and then bam i felt like i'm so matchy right now but anyway let's get into some star stable alright guys so i should be in a little bottom corner now um so before we start i thought i'd do a bit of the character customization for you guys who don't play star stable so you can see a little bit of what it's like to start with so if i go into the star stable website and click on play now we'll just load for a second um so here we are you can customize your whole character which is very exciting so i'm going to try and make it look a little bit like me obviously there are lots different ones to choose from i think i'll go for maybe this one obviously do the hair so i'm gonna make it blonde um probably this one looks most like my hair give it a little spin around you can choose the makeup and make that look a little bit different so that's fun and then eye color i'm gonna go for sort of a greeny one maybe my eyes are kind of like hazely it's like a really weird color you're i'm never really sure like what color they are but um yeah like a hazely greeny color that's cute and then for the horse i thought i'd make joey this time because last time i made casper um so obviously there are lots of different horse colors and coats that you can choose from so i think this dapply gray probably looks most like joey and then you can change the mane as well his main like obviously i could make it like a grey mane but his his main is kind of like in between colors at the moment so i think i'm gonna make the mane and tail darker because i think that looks probably most like him and then um when you're done you can pick your names lots of different names to choose from you can select your horse's name and then sign up so i already have an account i actually made a new account for this series so i've sort of started from the beginning again so you guys can come along with me so i'm gonna log in now and i'll see you once it's all loaded all right guys here we are so somebody's just running past me um so here we have me and joey or my name is esmerelda ghostweb and then my horse is jelly stone i'm gonna be calling him joey because he looks like my joey um so here we have um all of my beautiful tack and things obviously had to go a little bit matchy-matchy so i've gone for white and purple i feel like that looks really nice on him so he has a super cute purple bow on his bridle also on his tail and then we have some purple polo wraps too then i thought i'd go for a white saddle pad i have like a whitish grey top that matches as well obviously um i'm only level three and um jelly stone is only level two so um this is sort of a new account that i have made for this series which i thought could be fun i've gone through all this sort of tutorial to start with so um we've skipped that bit so it's not too boring for you guys and i thought i'd head straight into the quests so if you can see on the little map here there are two little yellow exclamation marks so those are areas that i need to head off to because i have a few quests and things to do so let's go on an adventure here is the first yellow exclamation mark somewhere around here ah hello let's talk to tan see what she's up to it's good to see you again esmeralda you and jelly stone are ready for your daily training okay let's do some daily training guys so um this is the bobcats basic trail or track um get some money and things to do so yeah let's go for it i am up for this the race begins when you're ready press the button to start the race okay three two one go go go go go let's go people fast speed i always have a little bit of a slow start and then i am off so what you have to do is try and um do the track and get all of the arrows so i'm trying to go as fast as i can um without missing any so it's a little a little under pressure here guys i'm going as fast as i can around the corner come on joey your jelly stone i love to do some jumping along the way it's quite fun zoom zoom zoom here we go let's not miss any the concentration is on now guys almost at the end almost at the end a few more left here we go round round round round round can i beat my high score that is the question congratulations ah i beat my high score yes okay so my last time was okay so i only just beat my high score but i'm pretty proud of that let's go and say hi see what she thinks well done esmeralda you and jellystone are quite the team so i have completed that for today shall we head over here see what um loretta has got to say hello you want to try the race again sure okay i've already done that so i'm going to see what the other one she is asking me about a lot of new riders have come through the gates of mall and stables every year um we bobcats do our best to welcome all of them before they go back to riding lessons and friendship bracelets but ever so often you can meet a rider who's designed for beginner things oh thanks mate um perhaps i was too quick to write you off um you bailed me out of trouble and you trained hard on our riding tracks and it seems like you and jellystone share a real special bond so earlier on one of the quests i did um she got lost and i had to go and find her so that's what she's talking about um esmeralda i've got a feeling that um big things are in your future oh why thank you you have definitely changed your tune because she wasn't the nicest to me to start with it would make me proud to see you in um bobcat pink oh yeah i think i think me and joey can pull off the pink um to go and see tan and she'll hook you up with one of our jackets guys i've made the team oh yes think of it as an honorary membership with the club okay it's only honorary but um keep striving to be your best and perhaps one day you'll make it official okay so we're not quite in it yet i think i celebrated a little bit too early to start with but yes we have got the jacket okay does she have anything else to say okay she just wants me to do the race again so i am going to head over to tan i think she said to go and see so let's move and groove around see if she has anything to say yep she's got a little green exclamation mark on her tan what is up oh um loretta is making you an honorary bobcat how exciting um here you are esmeralda a member's only bobcat girl riding jacket just like mine even if loretta doesn't consider you a full-time member yet you're welcome to ride with us anytime [Applause] nice oh and i've leveled up as well so i've got little leveling up music that is exciting should i put the jacket on i think putting the jacket on would be quite fun oh yeah guys look how cool we look at my little pink jacket okay so um i probably won't wear it because it is gonna mess up with the matchy matchy sorry guys but um i think it did look cute when i was on for a little bit maybe if we find a pink matchy-matchy set we could rock it but um what else we need to do today we have a few more exclamation marks up here so let's go and see who we need to talk to [Music] i should probably talk to maya because i haven't really talked to her in a little while so time to go shopping oh okay i am up for some shopping you guys um how are things doing at zerelda have you visited any of our cool shops yet what you haven't go and check out our awesome stuff that they sell go and visit the gear store the clothes store and the reputation store shop um which has the best clothes and gear you can find here in moorland although you have uh although you already have a good reputation with one stables to be able to shop in the reputation shop oh yes i'm up for going shopping okay where should we go first i'm also now level four so there are a few more items i'll probably be able to um get because i am at higher levels so let's go over here which one is this oh this is the summer camp clothing store which i don't think she mentioned so uh sorry dude we're not gonna we're not gonna shop there i'm gonna shop to the ones that maya has recommended so here we have the gear store oh yes okay they have some super cute matchy-matchy but i am not a higher level enough yet for some of these items maybe one day that's level 10. um i will get there guys okay so i'm not quite a high enough level for that that's okay we've got some other other friends we can see who is over here let's i'm just looking at all the matchy matchy guys of course okay this is the reputation shop oh yes um they should have something here that i can wear ah this blue top is quite pretty that's level 15. i quite like this white top that's cute okay i'm gonna try and find i really want to buy something but i'm just gonna have a little look around these jeans are cute i mean i already have jeans but they are very nice we could get some pink gloves even though i have purple ones on okay i think i'm gonna go for the jeans because i think the lighter wash just looks like it pops a little bit more so we'll we'll get those let's get my backpack put it in here let's buy them ah they look so cute okay okay maya we've done some shopping i bought some new breeches let's go and see what she's got to say now oh yeah her little exclamation mark's gone green so that's good it's changed color that was cool right we'll keep working on your moorland reputation and soon you'll be able to buy us some um buy me awesome gear and cool clothes well i'm gonna be a pretty good friend of me to fight you stop maya don't get too ahead of yourself um don't forget there's lots of other shops in silverglade um fort pinter and your vic city although it might be a while before you can get to any of those places guys there's more shopping i can do oh yes okay don't suppose you've lost a horse a big fluffy girl with a black coat a draft horse i think sorry i can't be more specific but um we don't see a lot of horses like that around here especially not ones with an attitude like that she's so you know what um you should probably just go in and check her out for yourself see if you can find any leads about where she belongs or who she belongs to i'd rather get this sorted before the boss finds out okay so it sounds like we've got a bit of a missing horse at the moment guys uh we've got lots of new arrivals here at the riding camp who don't know their way around horses the way you do so it's sort of a liability thing she's over at the dock on the beach just west of here so the riderless horse let's accept the quest so i have got to try and find this horse which is apparently by the beach so if i look at my little map it looks like the beach is over there so let's go and find this horse shall we guys let's zoom speed speed speed speed hmm if i follow the path okay looks like i'm going a little too north west so if we go down here maybe there's a little path that goes to the beach if not we're going we're going cross country guys wait this looks like a dock is she down here ah i think she is hello horsey this looks like the horse is missing this must be the horse maya's talking about okay there's a note attached to the bridle property of the amazing um yidris uh i've found please return to norma's highland along um with any cargo that you shall be rewarded handsomely okay so hopefully we're gonna get a nice reward for this one guys in case of stubbornness use cookies um not too many no matter how much she begs that sounds like casper he is always on for treats um give the mysterious horse a cookie then escort it to um nilmer's highland i'm very sorry if i pronounce your name incorrectly my friend use item horse cookie do i have a cookie i do have a cookie you must dismount into okay i need to get off to give give the horse a cookie so here is your cookie my friend oh how cute that is a very cute horse i've got to say i do like my chunky horses oh and oh the horse is off okay guys we need to quickly get back on to jellystone okay close the backpack okay let's move and we need to follow z let's go come on horsey let's go on an adventure all right so this might take me a little while to herd this horse up to where it's going so i'll see you guys when we get to lost the horse we've lost the horse no we haven't joey don't go ahead uh we need to turn around joey okay way too excited my friend heading herding heard in the horse hiding hurting the horse hurting i all right guys we are now back at the stables so i thought i'd do a little bit of horse care with joey after that quest because he deserves it you know so um i am just going to quickly hop off him grab out oh no we're not going to the shop as much as i love my shopping uh grabbed the bag thought i'd do some hoof picking so i'll pick out his hooves and this is great to get your horse bit more experience um do some grooming as well as you can see he definitely needs it give him some water oh look at his little eyes closed when he's drinking and then i also need to get him some food now i have run out of food so uh we're gonna quickly head over to the shop now more shopping of course um i'm gonna have to yeah get him some hay because we are we're low we're on zero though but i'm gonna evil pat first of course um so yeah look how happy he is okay let's mount him get back on head over to the shop because we do not want joey to be hungry okay food please we'll grab some hey wait i need my backpack we'll grab a good load of hay let's buy some of that oh should we buy them some treats as well we'll find some apples yeah let's get some okay we're gonna go full-on get them a bit of everything okay we'll get some small hay as well uh probably won't get a barbecue set i'm good for that and an orange but um no okay let's head back to the stables obviously you can feed him treats anywhere but the staple background is just so cute okay slow down joey okay let's get off him [Music] get out my backpack and he can have all the treats oh he made such a happy noise for his apple oh should we give him some hay as well look at him eat it to be fat it looks so much like him with the darkness around his eyes okay i think i think he is happy so i'm gonna jump back on and let's see what else we need to do today so i have a few little exclamation marks on my map so i have a few people that i need to talk to um hi there nice to meet you i am john you're pretty new here in roland right have you checked out your stay where i have checked out my stable if not go through the doors here and have a little look around and we've got some more experience i can help you upgrade your stables so i've already been in here already but i thought i would show you guys obviously my stable is a little empty because i only have the one horse on star stable one day i will get more horses don't you worry um i promise there won't all be greys like mine um but yeah here is the stable it's really fancy we have a little tack room and everything as well i believe so it's very cool there's a lot going on here we have a board so it can help you arrange your horses all that kind of stuff but we will come back to this later so i'm gonna head now and see if we have any more quests and things to get up to because my favorite thing is going on the little adventures [Music] loading screen okay i think i need to head back to where like the arena is because i think there is somebody here who i need to talk to hello i don't think i've talked to you before who are you stacy oh hi you friend of the bobcats um i could really use a hand uh stacy in place fill the missing cones around mullen stables okay let's do that then my name is stacy and i've just moved to moorland since i used to be in a riding club with um loretta's cousin eliza she and tan invited me to join the bobcats i'm so lucky to have a new club to train with but if i'm honest the training regime here is a bit lacking the cross-country tracks are great but truly exceptional clubs require discipline we need a proper schedule and routines to help a horse and rider prepare for any competition formats that they might encounter loretta has agreed to let me host cavaletti and show jumping classes here in the paddock um that's how we become our best by lifting each other up with prac um with practice the bobcats will be stronger competitors than ever and since you owned the bobcats jacket that means you're one of us too i'd love to train you yes guys let's do some training but first we need um the cones to set up a course um have you seen any around uh when you find them bring them here so we can start our very first class okay so i've got to find some cones so if i look on the little map here there are lots of little yellow circles oh there is one right there let's do some cone findings there's one pick that up oh there's loads here guys look at all the cones okay there's two there there's two there oh there's some more here it's nice that they're in pairs so there's like two together easier to find let's go round round the tree we're not gonna go through the tree today um let's see where are the cones around here oh they're hiding in the bushes they're hiding in the bushes here they are here are the cones oh my gosh i found a whole jackpot whoa let's not ride right past the jackpot joey okay we are in a tree that's fine to be fair when i take my horses hacking they do like to um not maybe not ride into the trees but they do like to eat the trees which isn't the best cones have i got all of them oh okay i don't need those cones then i've got all the cones i need okay okay i've got all the cones time to ride back okay i'll just jump over these barrels nice and casual okay jump over that too whoa joey we need to turn around we need to go go back to stacy stacy we have the cones you ready you ready for the cones thank you this should be plenty of cones to work with okay let's get that training done now this is a simple exercise i just want to see how you handle it as i've never seen you ride before i'm on a horse now but okay have a go and we'll see if you're ready to enter more advanced training sessions i think she means like do braces and things uh introduction introduce introducing bobcats beginner jumping training let's go when you're ready press the button to start the race okay two one go faster let's go jump round round round round jump oh i love the groovy music let's go okay i could probably get a little bit more central on the cross poles but we're going speed okay yep maybe we shouldn't have gone for speed i completed the race good job okay let's see what she thinks to my riding have you have you judged me harshly nice there was really no reason for me to worry okay that's good she likes my writing you did great if you want to enter another class you're more than welcome oh and i've leveled up oh yes okay we're paying that that music is so satisfying when you level up um i'd like to help you train on more challenging show jumping course okay but there's a bit of a situation when i was setting up the obstacles for my last training session i ran out of pink poles from the club supplies and fortunately jennifer from the stables was happy to lend me um the polls i need the trouble is they're green apparently the shade of green um is used by the club's arch rivals the bulldogs and we can't have that um per loretta um both cats wear pink and we use pink um and not only on wednesdays uh i guess we're painting the poles pink then grab a paintbrush the sooner we're done the sooner we'll start your session okay okay where are the okay i need to paint the poles where are the oh here they are they're right behind me i don't know if i'll have to get off joey for this or if i'll be able to item pink paint bucket here we go okay yeah i'm gonna have to get off you joey i'm sorry to do some um painting paint paint paint okay i'm they do look better pink i've got to say let's run paint paint paint as you guys know i've done a lot of painting recently when i painted my stables at home so you know a bit of a painting expert now if i do say so myself and then the last oh no there's two more okay there's a few more here don't rub me over please thank you i've got a paintbrush in hand i don't want to get your horse all painty and then there's one here we're done they're looking so good okay the poles are now perfect bob cat pink um now that loretta won't object i can set up the course the paint is still wet so you'll have to help jelly stone clear the jumps unless you want their coat to match the club colors i mean i mean jelly stone could look pretty cute pink i'm not gonna lie maybe not covered in paint though are you ready for your second lesson this course is a bit more complex than the last one it's still very basic of course even experienced riders need to go back to basics every now and again did you know that the top show jumping riders in the world rarely practice and obstacles as tall as they use in competitions using shorter obstacles like cavaletti and crossrails put less strain on your horse reducing the chance of injury and letting both of you train for longer go ahead and give this course a try esmeralda you've got this okie dokie okay i need to get back on to my horse run run run run run run let's mount and let's let's have our lesson or session or whatever training that's deal uh the ownership deed so then they can prove that they own the stables so um that's what i need to find um let me think i believe there was a deed of ownership but it got lost some years ago when thomas moreland's wife catherine died in childbirth thomas lost all interest in the papers and documents and just wanted to spend time with his horses all the paperwork was put in the chest and sent over over to catherine's father okay so we need to try and find catherine's father i believe there's a good chance that the title deed was in that chest her dad is jasper holbrook the child was born is of course justin so we need to find jasper jasper blames thomas for catherine's death and they haven't spoken in 20 years that's a long time it's a tragedy that this food is going on for so long but if anyone has the title lead it would be the old man jasper it won't be easy convincing him to party although you'll find old man jasper along the road leading to fort pinter close to the wall press m on the keyboard or click on the mini map to open the map and you'll see him as a small green exclamation mark on the map good luck dear okay we need to find him so i'm gonna press m ah here is [Music] i don't know how i could make the old um fool of a grandfather change his mind i know that my mom really loves her my dad thomas what happened was a terrible tragedy um i had these letters from my mum and my dad and they wrote to each other before they got married they proved it was true love i've been thinking of showing them to my grandfather jasper but never really dared if he saw them he would realize that catherine and thomas really loved each other maybe you could show him take these letters and show them to jasper they could make some kind of impression on him okay back we go to jasper guys off on another another zoom zooms let's go joey i'll see you guys again when we are back at jasper okay i've got some love letters what are you here again with all the papers let me have a look at that it looks really old i recognize the handwriting is it true um were they really written by my daughter when i read these letters from my beloved daughter my heart weeps i've been such an idiot all these years and it's cost me my grandson sobsob um i have a title deed of course and i'll give it to thomas moreland the slimeball mr kempfell that's a that's an interesting way to call him is a disgrace to this island here is the key to my deposit box in fort pinty you'll find the title deed inside collect it and bring back the key um to me before you say anything to thomas moreland and from now on you can ride across my land whenever you want you'll get to fort pinter by following the fort pinta road here and you'll find the deposit box in the notary in the fort pinter main building okay we are going somewhere new now guys to fort pinter received so i guess we go along this road here let's go joey someone you okay oh there's a little person there we're in new administrative fee to cover the cost i can write i can register the name change now i don't want i don't want to change his name i'm good all i needed all i needed was to um get the the legal documents i've got the legal documents i'm not here to change nobody's name okay let's let's ride back as much as i'd like to have a little explore around here like oh is that like a little cool restaurant oh there are so many shops here okay i might have to come back and explore here another time because we need to get the deed we need to get the deed to him quick because we do not want the stables to be destroyed they have horses for set okay we're definitely coming back here at some point because they have horses for sale and i think we need some more horses guys so i will see you guys done and i want to see him as soon as possible it may not be much but at least it's um an attempt to try and start repairing 20 years of bitterness and a way for this old fool to say sorry oh that's
