building structures underground and unshrouded can be extremely easy without using a pickaxe at all I made this cozy Hobbit home right outside of town for a friend in less than an hour rather than using the pickaxe pull out your Hammer move to the bottom section to the terrain tools and simply choose whatever size you would like I'd recommend the largest size and just right click the ground you don't need any materials it will actually start to pull dirt from from the ground that you can replace if you need to this is one option the other option that I actually like more you do need building materials on you choosing the largest type of foundation and placing it and then deleting it you can stack these as high as you'd like and it'll carve out a section for your building I like to use the building foundations instead of the terrain tools because they scale with your wall sizes your roofs and your flooring I always suggest that no matter what type of building that you are making that you vary the materials um this just adds a little bit more visual interest I would also strongly recommend using the terrain section of the hammer to clean up any areas where you have random soil and other hanging from your ceiling or maybe you have to delete a tree which you don't need a hammer for if you found this video video useful please like And subscribe as I will be posting more tips and tricks for enshrouded in the future
