[Music] hello good evening Gamers hope you're doing well welcome back welcome back picking up on more and shrouded today first thing that I want to do today is actually do a little building cuz I want to up my comfort level so that way my rested bonus lasts longer so that's going to be a thing that I take care of first and then after we get a little bit of building done we'll go ahead and get out there and do more adventuring get out there and fight more bosses and stuff I want to do more of these shroud rout things these Elixir Wells specifically we have a few of them on the maps we'll take to make a whole bunch of nails so I can make a whole bunch of chests where are my nails at where's my metal at rather metal metal metal there we are let's make like 12 nails so we can make six chests there we go I also need my wood what up bloodborne there's me wood logs all right and then I'm going to have to put these in my inventory the way some some of the way that I just ate food like an idiot some of the way the building works is a little bit strange it it I'm not saying it doesn't feel intuitive but it feels strange based on like I don't know just I I go somewhere to do something and it feels like I can't do it right like in order to build a small chest I have to go over to the workbench why can't I just put the workbench down and then if I'm in the vicinity of it I should be able to do all this stuff no matter where I am as long as I'm in the vicinity of it you know what I mean a certain radius much like valheim oh it requires six nails to make these okay we'll start with these two I don't know why I thought it was only two some of it just feels kind of unintuitive at the same time it is intuitive I don't know a little weird to [Music] me here's a question can I just move these straight up is there a way to move these maybe if I use the other tool no okay there is no way to just straight up move those those just this thing is for straight up just building I'll usually have like a set wake up time at noon that is like that is my wake up hour because I'm I'm up until like you know 4:00 or 5 a.m. doing my thing working on videos and whatnot so today I actually turned off my alarm I I don't remember turning off my alarm but then I went back to sleep which is very unusual for me I fell back asleep so I actually kind of feel B because of that not because of the Sleep itself but like just kind of falling back asleep just kind of made me feel weird it's something that's very unusual for me I usually don't do that but I did today somehow Josh got more sleep yeah it's very odd that's what I'm saying that's what I'm saying very weird um put this stuff away no we want the Rocks dud do do just kind of keeping things on me that should be kept on me for building purposes we don't need the Critter Parts don't need the resin seems the mechanics they working out maybe they'll get better maybe like I don't hate it it just it feels very foreign right now you know what I mean I don't hate it all right I got a hold whole bunch of runes there apparently I have two different stacks of them um we'll leave that there I don't need to carry these ice bolts on me anymore I know I keep throwing things around like crazy we'll leave that there for now too rocks Twigs metal and wood need to keep our food on me all right thank you for the two robino I appreciate guess like I just I'm I'm a big fan of the way that valheim does it so when other games like don't do what valheim does like I think valheim is the Pinnacle of ease of access when it comes to how things work for building and surviv games we'll keep the rough stone blocks we're going to need those okay now to dismantle this stuff what do I need to do do I just break it do I just smash it if I smash it do I get the stuff back I guess we'll find out together that's taking a long time it's going well AC I'm enjoying it there's got to be an easier way for this right clicking it does not break everything and now let's start breaking trees and rocks Scatman John what up dude hey luing in shards I am enjoying it it's a good time I'm a big fan of survival games though so maybe I have a certain bias cuz I know like there's a lot of people that just are not really into the game but I also feel like a lot of people that are not into this game are generally not enjoyers of the survival genre for the most part I personally like this stuff a lot and so a game like this for me it just works you know also guys I'm noticing that a lot of these stuff is back like these rocks these mushrooms these bushes did that happen because I restarted the server is that is that an exploit can I just keep getting the stuff back by restarting over and over I'm not going to lie if this stuff keeps popping up near my home I'm going to keep like restarting to get it instead of having to you know run far away how you doing John it's good to have you man hi mcdan hi hello so I'm thinking guys I'm thinking that I make something this this is my plan I want to make something twostory all right it's going to be a two-story thing the bottom floor is going to be all about like production stuff so we're going to have all the NPCs down there I'm going to have it like a nice open concept so that way I can just like walk in from any angle and everything will just be down there you know and then then up above we'll have all the Comfort stuff we'll have like a nice little bed all the other Comfort things like trophies hanging on the wall and stuff I think that's the plan here I think that's the plan that's what I want to do that's what I am envisioning currently speaking of rested bonus I don't have one is that a Bazar in your pocket are you happy to see me the answer is yes both happy to see you and I have Bazar in my pocket what up PO Mamba was coming to PS5 they don't have a release date on Console stuff this game just entered Early Access on PC yesterday so as far as things their time which I can appreciate yeah I would definitely would let rather it see you know fulfill their vision for what they want right I will not put a rush on that by any having the game that they want to put together is a very important deal exactly is this game like is there PVP or online play you can play Coop there is no PVP it's a survival game that does not uh have like a PVP element to it as far as I know there are plenty of survival games with PVP elements but generally speaking survival when it comes to PVP versus Co-op stuff is generally quite different think of something like rust or Day Z and then think of something like this or valheim or grounded you know what I mean the approach to the survival atmosphere is pretty different in that regard there's it's a very different idea as to what survival [Music] pertains this song right now the song that's playing right now reminds me a lot of [Music] Firefly all right let's get this plan rolling here um now theoretically I should be able to just chop this wall in half half right and everything else will collapse theoretically okay well it looks like it has the Minecraft thing going on where that is not the way of it all if you want to do co-op Portal 2 is excellent like I would say like if you want something fun to play with a fun story fun characters and fun puzzles Portal 2 you're not going to get better than Portal 2 you're not going to get better than [Music] that I think anyone that has played Portal 2 Solo or Co-op can agree to that what up Scarecrow no luminous house I mean I haven't had any still make games they still do just very very slowly the last game they put out was what halflife Alexa right that was probably a couple years ago now but valve gets the mass majority of their money just from Steam just you know running steam they're they're one of those companies that uh you know they they've kind of won you know like they don't have to do anything they just need to keep steam running allowing Publishers and developers to put their games on the platform take their cut they've kind of won the the video game industry game you know and so they just take a very slow approach to everything that they do by slow approach I mean I'm sure most of the time they're not really actively in development of anything or at least that's what it seems like on the forefronts hey Josh how you doing portal takes two Sack Boy or over 100% something not mainstream something not mainstream is going to be hard to come up with because I mean there's a lot of indie games out there but I don't really know the full list of indie games that are also Co-op op cuz you're looking for a co-op right I I do know a lot of indie games but like they're all from a solo player perspective I don't know what's Co-op and what's not what is my stone game looking like we got 75 okay I think what I want to do here is again I want to leave this mostly open I just wanted a bit of a back wall so that way things can go against it and then we'll just kind of make the corners from there yeah I think that's I think I I think I like that yeah it's kind of cozy already guys kind of kind of feeling cozy already maybe I'll put a maybe I'll close this site off leave the rest of it open kind of like that I would say if you want to co-op something like I it depends on if you need couch Co-op but if you do not need couch Co-op this is a bit of a bias but you can look into to more Survival Games think games like grounded you can play co-op valheim and shrouded if you if you're playing on PC you you can uh you know two different PCS you can play co-op and this I don't know if couch Co-op works with any of these games though survival games are always good co-op action what's up Mystique hey rambow it's kind of weird man I didn't really care for survival games for the longest time and then I played valheim then I played valheim like what was it a year somewhere between a year and a year and a half ago on stream and since then man I want to play all the survival games all the time so much so that I started a second Channel about it kind of crazy Bro you've got no pubes hell of hell of a thing to come in and uh observe there Lee hell of a thing yeah well you ain't got no eyebrows how do you feel about that you got that weak ass 13-year-old chin stubble how do you feel about that it's a lot of fun to watch I'm glad you think so man how much plant fiber did I get there 67 plant fiber guys I feel like that's not going to be enough what up darkone valheim is the elder ring of survival now do you mean via the combat or do you mean like the overall quality cuz I can see it both ways is do I keep pretty steady frames on this yeah I'm averaging right around like 80 FPS sometimes it'll dip around like 65 but for the most time for the most part it sticks right around 80 the quality yeah I do agree man my only major gripe with valheim is the AI as far as like the enemies go like don't get me wrong like the enemies can overwhelm you if you're in a position where they can overwhelm you but for the most part it's like the AI is really dumb like really really really dumb in that game comfort-based things we got beds fireplaces and illuminations fireplace is actually something I could use for cooking I believe so why do I not have wood on me did I put the wood away all right this craft one oh wow that just opened up a lot of other stuff we got chairs and benches and candles oh my God all right so fireplace where should we put the fireplace guys surely fireplace will be good right here just its own tiny little thing in the corner can I use it to cook I can good very good very nice am I able to dig a basement I actually do believe I would be able to yeah that would be a good thing for expansion later on plant fiber string torn cloth all right we're going have to go grab more plant fibers a table let me just build that a table and a chair we need strings and wax for those I I definitely have to go get some other stuff yeah a lot of that's going to be nice for Comfort [Music] stuff I can't sit in the chair oh dude zero out of 10 zero out of 10 do you see how I put some of this stuff down and now my Max rested bonus is now 12 minutes instead of 10 guys you see that that's the whole purpose of this like it's not just doing it to do it there is actually a purpose behind it it incentivizes you to do more in that regard it's very nice to have very nice bonuses all right we need to go grab a whole bunch of string which means plant fiber am I blocked I can't donate um you are not blocked I can see you in chat just fine as far as um like super chats go I have no idea why I wouldn't be able to let you man but I appreciate you trying I mean I know you did just last night as well so it's weird that you can't now I do not know man wish you would start these streams at least one or two hours earlier I mean all of my live streams are something that you can watch like the next day and stuff like all those are there you can treat them as videos all my content is watchable at all times also you don't have to watch it when it's directly live even when I am live because you can scroll back in the video to watch the earlier parts that you weren't able to watch you know what I mean the thing is though like the thing is about that is like as much as I wish I could be live for more people more often the reality is is that like if I were to move my streams to a different window then there would be other people that Miss out as well and not to say that I don't care I obviously do but like I'm not able to I'm not able to fit every person's schedule that exists that's just not possible when I used to start my streams a little bit later when I first started streaming I would start at 5:00 p.m. because I got out of work at 4: when I would start my streams at 5:00 P p.m. there would be people that make mad I wish you could start at 4:00 and I used to stream in the morning as well I would stream at like 8 9:00 a.m. when I streamed there there were people like oh man I wish you could start your stream a little earlier so I could watch better you know for my workday or I wish you started your stream a little bit later so I could watch after work you know based on people being in Europe the reality is is time zones just make it that I'm not able to fit everyone's schedule specifically while I'm live unfortunate reality of it all there is just no way I'm sorry man I try to hit as many schedules as possible when I can but yeah it's just the reality of the situation you know give up Elden ring no just cuz I'm not playing a video game doesn't mean I give up on it that's not how it works video games are available whenever I just have always played more than one game and I've been waiting for this game for for a long time yeah more shrooms dude I wonder if I can cook the shrooms I bet you I can but I am uh I am just like every 5 hours last night and another 2 hours and 15 minutes so far today that puts me at you know 7 hours and 15ish minutes in and I am still having a good time so I think so personally I think it's good going to go all the way around instead of through the Shroud here well I mean as far as like the Hogwarts comparison goes Overlord I am choosing to do magic you don't don't have to do magic in this at all if you look at the skill tree here there's a lot of different ways you can build obviously you have like Warrior tank Barbarian Survivor stuff Beast Master Ranger assassin and then I'm building in magic stuff myself there's a lot of different ways you can go about it you can even combine a lot of the stuff into one build seam reviews are very positive nice I figured they would be there's a plague route there or shroud route I've already have killed it never mind to say thought I killed that one already [Music] well I'm not making that oh balls [Music] dude I couldn't even see the red just parot those guys yeah I know recommend to First buy valheim I'm thinking that after un shrouded valheim Graphics will not be good for playing I wouldn't worry so much about valheim Graphics valheim Graphics fit The Narrative of the game very well valheim graphically when you really get into playing it makes a lot of sense and it becomes something that you actually end up appreciating the graphics in that game fit the game just perfectly maybe I'm going try going this way I don't really care so much about recovering my body I just don't find that necessary oh there's more red right there god dude I hate that I can't see it I guess that's the risk of flying into the Shroud right yeah when it comes to valheim I think valheim is a great game I love it and I can I can recommend it endlessly it's one of my one of my favorite survival games I think it's great I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in it whatsoever just because it's something that you don't really know building and then jump from it I mean there's a path right there anyway so where that mana's unlimited it's not if you look at the top left there's that blue bar that is the Mana the wands don't use Mana whereas these spells do but these spells hit much harder see how the the blue bar drains and slowly refills that is based on your stats your Mana regen stats and your spirit I believe the spirit is what counts there too the wand itself doesn't use Mana because they hit so little damage in comparison my goal is to try to find a way to make it so I can basically just permanently wield the staff then critical attack with a magic weapon will hit all enemies within 20 meters of the target for two shock damage per intelligence and then this one is increased intelligence one increase magic damage making it unique or creating its own style I just like that I can like make my own class based on all the things that you have going on you can use your skill points on any tree fre at any time and it can kind of create a flow of sorts right now I'm only specking into Mage but obviously I'll be doing uh some more stuff after I max out this tree and of course I just enjoy basic survival things too I like building a place to live I like the idea of using you know food to give myself Buffs help myself survive stuff like that that and of course just exploring an open world with lots of stuff that uh can benefit me want to say that's everything here we kind of went in a full circle around we got to the middle killed the plague rout thing and then came up here and then it's a dead end pretty sure we got it all no Cody I just enjoy more than one game man just changing it up playing something new okay that is done let's [Music] see all right so yeah this is my base if you haven't seen it yet I built it earlier at the beginning of stream made a little storage area this is where all my NPCs are this is obviously the flame alter we got ourselves a forge the uh Kiln a grinder little fireplace where I make my food little bathroom area right here a bed I think maybe maybe when I get more stuff I'll I'll probably like make little segments rooms for this little area up here just little segmented rooms like a bathroom a bedroom stuff like that you know I think that'll be cool but okay let's take a look at the map we have done most of the stuff down here when I come back tomorrow I'm going to go ahead and take care of these locations right here and this stuff right here then there's some more stuff right here I have to do as well but outside of that we're going to be all done with everything in the southern area we also have that down there over by The Pillars of Creation and then from there we can go north start taking care of stuff up there we have done a lot of things need one more skill point for that but okay I'm out of here for now guys I will be back again tomorrow 4 p.m. eastern time to play some more don't know how you do it I need a break as well it's cool though loving it it's a good time man I play all sorts of new games on my on my channel I just haven't in the last couple of months because there just hasn't been anything new out that I want to try until this this game looks fun it is it's a good time it's an online game you can play solo or you can join a public server or you can have your own private server with friends anyways guys I'm out here
