at 8 30 a.m 11 a.m or six o'clock p.m well our scriptural text today comes from first chronicles chapter 4 and verse 9 and 10 somewhat familiar passage of scripture [Music] there was a man named jabez who was more honorable than any of his brothers and his mother named him jabez because his birth had been so painful he was the one who prayed to the god of israel oh god that you would bless me and expand my territory please be with me in all that i do and keep me from all trouble and pain and god granted him his request i'm speaking today from the subject in larger territory enlarge your territory [Music] the name jabez means he who causes discomfort he who causes sorrow or he who causes pain isn't that crazy for a mother because she was in pain to project what she was dealing with onto her child but isn't that the way that life works that whenever you're around other people if their lives are in pain they project their pain on you they hurt other people around them that's the way that pain works pain is contagious people who are in pain bring pain into the lives of other folks and so jabez's mother because of the painful experience in her own life now projects that and names her baby he who causes pain she allowed her identity to become the identity of her child we know another person in scripture that had the same issue jacob parents named him deceiver subplanter you know underhanded one schemer and he wrestled with that identity until he came to that place in pandanaram where he said god i'm not going to turn you loose until you bless me and the blessing was not houses it wasn't land it wasn't any of that he just said bless me and the angel asked him the angel of the lord said what's your name because see god knows how to look through everything all of your behavior and see the root issue and it says the root of all of your behavioral issues that you've been dealing with jacob is rooted in your identity your name what's your name and then he said deceiver the angel was basically saying that's your problem and i'm gonna change your name now you will no longer be called deceiver your name will be israel prince with god just a change of name it changed his identity you got to change what you call yourself see somebody projected on to jacob what he would be called and every time his mom and his dad his siblings called his name they were reinforcing a negative identity in him and he was manifesting this in his behavior you know why because behavior follows belief he got his identity established in his name based on somebody else's experience and that's what he lived with all of his life and this is where jabez is jabez is living with the identity of the pain in which his mother had when she was carrying and delivering him but something on the inside of you if you've got a negative label or negative stigma surrounding you a negative self-image something ought to cry out in your soul and say i am made for more something ought to be crying out of your soul saying i am made for more i'm made for more i made for more and let me say this to you very clearly your focus should be more on what you are becoming than what you are doing let me say that again your focus should be more on what you are becoming than on what you are doing what you're doing right now is not who you are your focus ought to be on what you are becoming i'm becoming prophetically what god has already decreed from the beginning of time i'm i'm coming into my prophetic destiny you see you could be making donuts right now but your that's not your destiny you know no matter what you're doing on a job you know you might be doing something and this is how people get discouraged is because they lock their identity in what they're doing and not on what they're becoming your focus should be on what you are becoming i am the righteousness of god in christ jesus and and now are you the sons of god you you're the sons and daughters of god your focus has to be on what you're becoming not on what you're doing at the moment not who you're working for right now because if god has caused you to be an entrepreneur you might be working on somebody's job you don't get your identity you got to work for somebody before you work for yourself that's the way that you get educated on their dime don't try to launch out and do it before you submit yourself to work for somebody else when you're faithful to that that belongs to another man then god can trust you to have your own focus on what you are becoming not on what you're doing focus on what you are becoming that's why i could work on a job during the daytime and i could go home at night and be working on what i'm becoming don't ever forsake working on what you're becoming i grew up working for my dad you know when your dad's your boss and you you grow up in in the beauty industry i'm not no longer you know working in that business that was what i was doing that was not who i was becoming you don't ever confuse the two so you can work on a job and do something but that's not necessarily who you are focus on what you are becoming focus on what you are becoming focus on what you are becoming not merely on what you are doing and so i would say this to you don't let a label limit you don't let a label limit you that's what jabez's mother did she put a label on her baby that limited his life and it caused pain in him and that's why he came to that place he said god oh that you would bless me i can't live with this stigma i don't want this limit on my life all of my life i want to be more something on the inside of him knew that the reality that i'm experiencing in my life right now is supposed to be more than what i've i've got and he didn't want to lose focus on what he was becoming by looking at what he was doing at the moment he was praying god please i don't want to cause pain mama said i'm going to call her pain and every time she calls my name she was reinforcing he who causes pain come in pain come here get up pain go to bed pain pain your food is ready and she's reminding him of a sorrowful painful existence to the degree that it wore him down over time because it it affected his self-image his self-esteem he no longer knew who he was he didn't feel good about himself so he started crying out god oh that you would bless me that you would bless me that you would bless me he wasn't asking for a car he wasn't asking for a title he wasn't asking for jewelry and clothing and houses he wasn't asking for land nor stocks nor bonds he was asking god that you would bless me the real identity of who i am on the inside you would bless me that you would bless me and listen if you don't like your current situation make a choice to change it because after you make the choice then you make a plan and then you execute that plan you make a choice you make a plan and then you execute it i love something that martha beck said she said if you're miserable make a choice and if you're still miserable you can choose again isn't that beautiful i mean if you're miserable make a choice and if you're still miserable you can choose again you can choose again the greatest power that god has given to human beings is the power of choice it is the power of choice always remind yourself no matter how difficult things become always remember this you always have a choice you always have a choice you always have a choice and listen when you want something to change when you want something to change here are a few things that you can do when you want something to change number one you identify and understand what you want or need to change you identify and understand what you want or need to change number two believe that you can change it with god's help believe you can change it with god's help number three change your focus change your focus change your focus number four look for a role model look for a role model you need a role model number five choose the right company to be around that's for support one of the worst things is not feel supported i mean next to feeling love we need to feel support from somebody choose the right company to be around number six look for the new beginning in every ending look for the new beginning in every ending because you have to understand all change means the death of something all change whenever you change it means that the old thing is dying or passing away and the new thing is coming into existence so you have to see a new beginning in every ending change means a passing away of the old you know why here's the deal all change involves loss loss all change involves loss all change involves loss so in all chains you have to see the new beginning in every ending when you graduate from high school it's the ending of that experience of seeing those teachers on a daily basis and those other classmates is it's the end of that but it's the beginning of a whole new experience whether you go to the military whether you go to the workforce whether you go to college it's the ending of something but it's the beginning of something else that's why every graduation is called a commencement commencement as you know is a beginning not an ending it is a beginning it's educating you to commence you into something it's the beginning of something you have to see a new beginning in every ending see a new beginning in every ending life goes on see a new beginning in every inning and everything that you lose if you lose a relationship see a new beginning see it see it look for the new beginning and every ending number seven practice gratitude practice gratitude if you want to change something practice gratitude you're not going to get anything better until you're grateful for what you've already got lord i thank you for this you got a gratitude is an attitude gratitude is a habit a practice gratitude look for something positive in each day even if you have to look harder some days there's something in every single day for which you can give things and notice practice gratitude when i say practice gratitude express it because unexpressed gratitude is no good for anybody if you feel gratitude express it don't just feel it in your heart as a feeling gratitude is designed to be expressed if you don't express it it doesn't do you any good and it doesn't do anybody else any good you you express gratitude express it express it express it because gratitude can change everything gratitude here's what it really does gratitude is a bridge over which future blessings will be brought gratitude is a bridge over which future blessings will be brought because if you cease to be grateful for what you've got the people that have been bringing it to you are going to get tired of giving it to you so they rather give the blessing to somebody that's grateful for it because you can give something to some people and they they have no gratitude for it i mean i mean i've experienced it myself you know you i i've given food to homeless person and then they turn their nose up like i don't like mustard on my hot dog you know i mean when you don't have anything you don't have the right to be choosy about what something i mean when you're starving you know i grew up not liking pickles but you get hungry enough you eat a pickle and certainly i'm telling you i'm not going to throw a burger away because it has a pickle on it you know so but if i'm just grateful you know what i'm just just express gratitude just express gratitude whatever it is express gratitude because gratitude creates a bridge over which future blessings will be brought in your life it is in a nutshell to change your life you have to change your hat i've taught you that hat is habits associations thoughts you want to change your life change your hat your habits change your associations change your thoughts if you change those three things you'll change your life change your habits change your associations change your thoughts you'll change your life change your habits change your associations change your thoughts and you will change your life to change from where you are you must decide where you would rather be and this is where jabez is at this place of brokenness in his life where he's lived with a false identity but even a lie that is believed becomes your truth and it will manifest its uh effects in your life but please understand this change requires time change requires time understand this that change begins with a decision change begins with a decision all change begins with a decision if you're going to do something about your weight it begins with a decision you know the word decision comes from the latin word dave which means off sis means to cut sean means the state of decision is the state of cutting off every time you make a decision you cut off other options so when you make a decision about your weight when you make a decision about your finances you cut off buying this you cut off eating that when you make a decision about your physical well-being you cut off not going to the gym or not going out on a walk and and jogging and doing the various things doing push-ups whatever you need to do you make a decision all change begins with a decision number two change is most often gradual then sudden so please don't get discouraged because sometimes you'll do some things i mean i just i gave up doing uh you know sit-ups because after my stomach was so i mean i wanted to see a sick pack even but i didn't see a six-pack immediately i'm like bump this you know i've i felt too much discomfort i'm going through all of that and then you still don't see the lines you can have this but but what i realize is that these things take time change takes time change takes time it's a process change takes time so you have to invest the time all change requires time it it takes time you got to be willing to put in the time so that's it's just the principle of how how change works change it it often comes gradual and then sudden where you you you you see something really really gradually and then all of a sudden suddenly bam here it is it's gradual then sudden gradual then sudden it also happens whether that's positively or negatively you know people don't just die instantly no you've been killing yourself over a period of time you've been gradually killing you every time people just smoke cigarettes you're gradually killing yourself you're not going to kill yourself from the first cigarette the first pack the first carton but it's gradual then suddenly lung cancer it's always gradual then sudden then you come back and you come home one day it's shocked because they're giving you the big c word it's always gradual then southern gradual then sudden gradual then sudden divorce doesn't just happen overnight it's been gradually deteriorating then suddenly i want a divorce gradual then southern gradual then southern graduate within sudden but on the flip side of that you can be praying god oh god faithfully going out and wearing this thing constant and faithful in prayer gradually gradually just chipping away at it gradually and suddenly suddenly you walk in one day and an unexpected blessing comes your way suddenly a surprise check in the mail suddenly a cancellation of dead suddenly a promotion suddenly the call that you have been waiting for that will shift the trajectory of your life all of a sudden comes you've been laboring day in and day out and weekend and week out and year in and year out and suddenly my god i'm just telling you when god gets ready and that's why he says don't don't be don't be weary in well-doing this thing is gradual then suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly and i'm just here to tell you that whenever there's a compound attack compound attacks of the enemy it means that you're close to breakthrough breakthroughs don't just come you know dragging along when god breaks it through you you drag on and labor for hours and hours and then when that baby's head is crowning and starts coming through suddenly there's a birthing suddenly there's a breaking of the water suddenly there is a manifestation of everything that you've been praying on for weeks and months and years of what has worn you out in something that is a harm drum faithfulness harm drum faithfulness humdrum faithfulness and suddenly suddenly now you got the sick sex suddenly the biceps and the triceps and the gastrocnemius and the deltoids begin to develop and suddenly you see it suddenly suddenly gradual then sudden gradual then sudden and see this is the problem with jabez jabez had dealt with this all of his life gradually gradually just building up gradually gradually then suddenly god granted him his request suddenly when god answers it doesn't take him all day what you've prayed for for years will be answered in a suddenly and i've just been sensing by the spirit of god that god's people are about to enter into a season of suddenness suddenly suddenly there was a sound from heaven suddenly god spoke suddenly uh the hate was washed away suddenly the cancer disappeared suddenly the pain in your body went suddenly the inflammation went down suddenly we are about to enter into a season of divine suddenlies divine suddenly suddenly here's the third thing change is a seed and it must be planted and watered in order to blossom see change begins with a decision is most often gradual then sudden and then change is like a seed it must be planted and watered in order to blossom and i want you to realize this you can kill a relationship or you can change by dying to yourself so that the old identity that is causing you to misbehave will die and jabez had an old identity that was causing him to misbehave the main reason that people won't change wrong behavior is one key word the word pride and if you ever want to notice the nature of something go to the middle of it p-r-r-i-d-e i is right in the middle of pride i know that that's not proper grammar but you understand what i'm saying pride p-r-i-i-d-e pride pride is right in the middle of sin let me say this to you very clearly pride is the strength of sin pride is the strength of sin pride it is the strength of sin it holds a person in a wrong pattern sometimes when people even realize that they've been wrong you're telling them that they're wrong you're showing it to them in the word but they're stubborn because of pride that's ego pride is the strength of sin unbelief is the basis of sin unbelief is the basis of sin the only reason that people do sin is because they don't believe that there's a consequence based on what god has said and so they do it because they don't believe that it's true surely god wouldn't punish me for this unbelief is the basis of sin pride is the strength of sin deceitfulness is the character of sin are you listening pride it is the strength of sin unbelief it is the basis of sin deceitfulness is the character of sin why would a mother name her child deceiver deceitfulness it is the character of sin and then you're appalled when the child misbehaves it is interesting that god calls us to change in all changes based on a choice it's based on a choice but if you doubted yourself your relationship can live i want you to see here that when jabez prayed this prayer jabez was asking god to undo and to nullify every label that had been given to him notice what jabez prayed jabez prayed number one for god to bless him god bless me god bless me he prayed secondly for god to increase his territory expand me expand me increase my territory number three he said he prayed for god's help and it's for that his direction god help me help me god he prayed for god's help and for god's direction number four he prayed to be kept from evil now i want you to notice what he didn't pray he prayed specifically to be kept from evil he didn't pray that god would take all of the evil out of the world but he says god keep me from the evil you see god put a tree in the middle of the garden of eden that was good and bad he didn't take the tree the evil tree out he wanted adam and eve to depend upon him to be kept from the evil jabez prayed to be kept from evil and the fifth thing that he prayed was not to be a source of pain to others he says god please i don't want to hurt people i don't want to have a carnage of damaged relationships in my past god i don't want to be a source of pain i don't want to be a source of pain and i want to remind you today you are not your pain so don't allow what hurts you to become your identity you are not your pain you are not your pain so don't allow what hurts you to become your identity but here's something very key that i want you to get although jabez had a very unpleasant name he who causes pain he who causes sorrow he who causes distress he had nobility in his character in spite of a bad label he had nobility in his character you notice in verse 9 the bible says that jabez was more honorable than any of his brothers he was more honorable than any of his brothers i want you to understand jabez prayed a prayer and god answered him but jabez was not just a demon spirit of of a person who was praying and asking god for something jabez was an honorable man he was more honorable than his brothers and an honorable person is someone who believes in truth and they believe in doing the right thing that's an honorable person they believe at its core they believe in truth and they believe in doing the right thing and they try to live up to those high principles they believe in truth and they believe in doing the right things that's an honorable person let me let me just give you some some things that i thought about when i it just came to my mind about what an honorable person looks like honorable people are trustworthy they are trustworthy it means that they follow through on their commitments it also mean that you could share uh confidences with them and they will not disclose those confidences because that's an honorable person if if they talk to you when you are talking to an honorable person they don't put your business in the street see a gossip is not an honorable person an honorable person is someone who is trustworthy honorable people are trustworthy number two honorable people are fair in their dealings with people if you find a man a woman of honor they are fair in their dealings with people they are fair in their dealings with people uh number three they are authentic they don't it's not of where they uh a bait and switch they're authentic people it's like what you see is what you get they're true i mean you know sometimes truth can be brutal but but they are kind as well but authentic people are honorable people honorable people are authentic honorable people are authentic they they don't pretend to be one thing and then turn out to be something else they are authentic number four honorable people are caring they are compassionate people they have compassion on other people they want to help other people if they see somebody being jumped for their lunch money being taken advantage of they'll step in and try to do something that's a person of honor that's a person of honor an honorable person they're a caring person in that they exhibit compassion toward other people number five honorable people demonstrate self-control they demonstrate self-control honorable people demonstrate self-control i mean so if you give an honorable person too much money back they demonstrate self-control they could say ooh the lord has blessed me but they demonstrate self-control and they'll give you your money but they say no no you gave me too much money they demonstrate self-control that's an honorable person number number six they have good social intelligence honorable people have good social intelligence they don't just look at you and then just call you out of your name and make you feel bad they have good social intelligence and number seven honorable people express gratitude particularly for the kindness that is done to them when you serve an honorable person they exp they will thank you honorable people they see you they see those who serve and they express gratitude they're thankful to god for every little thing that god does for them honorable people you can bless some people with with things and then they say man that's all you've given me it is all but an honorable person an honorable man an honorable woman you do a little for them and they are totally thankful they express that gratitude in a deep and a profound way and so jabez wanted his life to be one that caused others to be blessed and that's why he's praying this prayer he says oh god that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory give me more opportunities that's all territory is give me more opportunities and here's a principle i want you to get very clearly hurt people hurt people but also healed people heal people see get the second part of that hurt people hurt people but healed people heal people healed people heal people jabez had been hurt but god healed him and now he says god that i may not cause pain because i've had pain in my life all of my life but god blessed me so that i can be a blessing to others i don't want to cause pain to anybody else and let me just say this when he said to god and prayed this prayer and said god enlarge my territory i want you to understand this that sometimes the territory that needs to be enlarged is the territory between your ears it's not physical territory out here and possessing and taking control of that land it's taking control of this the highest real estate on the on on the planet it's right in between your ears the highest real estate on the planet is right in between your ears he's saying enlarge my territory here because there's some people that have shrunken territory in here and they only think about themselves in large my territory the bible says that god gave david largeness of heart that's large territory in between here in between here between your ears remember proverbs 23 7 for as he thinketh in his heart so is he as he thinks in his heart so is he and i want you to understand this principle that in the kingdom of god size means nothing in the kingdom of god size means nothing it's not that bigger is better so this is not necessarily talking about possessing more land this is not talking about thinking bigger it's about thinking better and dreaming better this is about better enlarged my territory god give me clarity on the inside help me to see things according to your perspective give me the big picture i want to see the big picture on the inside enlarge my territory i've been limited because i've got small territory right in here and when you enlarge this in here then you can enlarge that out there you see you have to realize that whenever you put your philosophy or your belief system into something you begin to dominate in that area a lot of people don't realize this but england is a relatively tiny island and yet england because they put their philosophy in the world ended up dominating three-fourths of a known world that's why english is practically the universal language on earth it's perhaps more universally spoken and accepted and understood in more places around the globe than any other language english it came from england an island that dominated three-fourths of the known world you go to singapore they're chinese people and they all speak english as their official languages because england you go to south africa and they all speak english because england america england you just go to various places because of great britain put their philosophy in the world and they dominate it three-fourths of the known world how in the world two percent of the population in south africa dominate 98 percent because of enlarged territory in large territory they were not big numbers but they had a they had a strategy are you listening and here's jabez saying god may you enlarge me give me a mindset to be able to dominate he's just saying god i just i need your mind jesus said let this mind that was in christ jesus be also where in you he said i want to enlarge you i want to enlarge you see most of the people that get stuff in large they got this enlarged car that ends up getting repossessed this enlarged house ends up getting foreclosed on because they didn't get enlarged right here oh god we we missed the focus of what jabez was really praying about oh god that you would enlarge me enlarge me and not give you the big head but give you a largeness of heart give you a largeness of vision and understanding the big picture and how this folds into the big picture that when we save here and when we deny ourselves here that when we delay this it means that we can enjoy this and that either either you work now and and you and you play later or you play now and you pay a whole lot more later it's like god enlarged my territory enlarged my territory jesus said in in matthew chapter 16 and verse 6 beware of the leaven of the pharisees leaven is yeast yeast is fungus or bacteria and for yeast to work two conditions must be met the temperature number one must change the temperature must change in order for yeast to work the temperature must change it's got to get hot if you're going to change something you got to get fired up my god you got to get fired up that's why god can't do anything with people until they get fired up you have to get fired up for change your temperature has to change are you listening if you're gonna if you're gonna rise your temperature has got to change your temperature has got to change you got to get fired up but but by the same token the people of god have a greater tolerance for temperature because that's why the bible talks about one of the fruit of the spirit is called in the greek macrothermia it actually means that you've got a long fuse a long temper it means that that'll it's got to get super super hot before your temperature will rise if we translate that word as long long-suffering or the word patient it's the word macrothermia it means able to tolerate huge big heat without boiling over and so something because you know you you just say good morning to some people and they cut you out over there what's good about it don't speak to me i am i have a coffee yet some people cuss you out of the drop of the the fuse is short and then you find a child of god that's got macrothermia i mean a whole lot can push their buttons before they lose their cool i mean everybody's got the limit but it just means that you gotta you gotta really stack it on lay it on thick and they'll let you go a long time to give you a lot of grace before that volcano erode erupts but everybody has a limit but for yeast to work the two conditions that must be met is that there must be temperature change and number two yeast must attach itself to something it must have a host it must have a host you gotta get it fired up the temperatures gotta change it's gotta get hot and number two it's gotta have a host it's got to operate through somebody it's got to attach itself to somebody if you want to rise your attachments so determine your destiny it is amazing um my dad is named after this man by the name of nathaniel hawthorne the great american writer but uh she was working nathaniel hawthorne was working for a custom house and one day he came home totally dejected to his wife and he told him he said honey i'm so disappointed i lost my job today the custom house and instead of his wife being depressed about it she looked at him with excitement and glee and she says goody now you'll have time to write that book and he just sort of half-heartedly said yeah yeah yeah you're right he said but what are we going to live on and she said you know you'd give me money every week for housekeeping and i saved a little bit of that money every week for years and she said honey i've saved enough for us to live on for a whole year she said i've always known you were a genius she says now you can write your book and he took a year off because his wife a woman by the name of sophia the name sophia means wisdom for a wise woman because a wise woman builds her house and a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands but when a man was dejected rejected and feeling like a failure she had this uncanny ability to look at him and not see a failure but a genius whose work had not yet been discovered and he came home and wrote like a madman and wrote the scarlet letter that became a masterpiece and the greatest blessing that he had ever received in his life was disguised as a termination notice [Music] but his wife was enlarged already and that's why the bible says that he that finds the original hebrew says he that finds a good wife not just any wife but a good one you you got to find a sophia that has the wisdom to see treasure in somebody who's broke are you listening somebody that has gone through hell in high water that is feeling dejected and rejected that is feeling the brokenness of life and you need somebody that will look at you with excitement who believes in your dream and sofia believed in this dream to the degree that she had started saving for it faith and works she believed she knew that there was a genius in him that there was a literary work waiting to be unveiled in his life and he was too busy focused on what he was doing that he wasn't able to focus on what he was becoming are you listening and he was looking at all of the stuff from his past and what had happened but he had a sofia in his life wisdom it takes wisdom to look beyond the surface of what looks like failure and disappointment and see genius she didn't just see genius she said it to him she spoke life to him and impacted his destiny i'm absolutely convinced that my father couldn't have become the nathaniel hawthorne brawner that he was without my mother my daddy found his sofia my mother believed in my daddy to his dying day she encouraged him she was the wind beneath his wings bishop jakes told me that he had saved up fifteen thousand dollars and had promised his wife they were living in a broken down condition of a house driving poor cars he'd be embarrassed in some of his journeys of having to park his car around the corner from the church and on a hill because you had to roll down and pop the clutch you know in order to get it going and he didn't want people to have to see what he had got out of gifted anointed but broke and he finally managed to save fifteen thousand dollars and he went to his wife and he said i think god has given me something and i got 15 000 to try to launch it but i promise you that house and i get your house she looked at him and she said baby i don't know what this is that god has given you it was a revelation of the book woman thou art loosed she said i don't know what this is about that she said but i believe in you baby i believe in you she says take the money and publish the book [Music] she believed in him when he didn't believe in himself he had his sophia to say i see genius in you we may not have anything right now but i see genius in you [Music] take the down payment for our house and launch it in that [Music] it was a good seed been to their house in dallas i thought i was in a magazine she made the right choice she encouraged something that she saw and a man who would had limited resources but she saw a seed with an unlimited harvest you got to have somebody that believes in you and that could see something on the inside of you that is a gift of god they've got to be able to look at the fallibility of your earthen vessel and recognize a divine treasure on the inside of something that looks so ordinary on the outside and every nathaniel hawthorne has to find his sophia that wise counterpart that is able to look into you and see more than what meets the eye they see into your dreams they see into your potential they see it to your capacity they see into the limitations of your life and see in all of that a seed of what you can become they don't merely see what you're doing they see what you're working on becoming and they have an ability of what's just a spark to fan the flame until a great conflagration emerges out of what has been brewing in your life you gotta find that person by saying god enlarge my territory give me the people god that can see more in me than i can see in myself so that even when i give up when i when i run out of oxygen that they keep on saying baby you can do it i believe in you i believe in you don't define yourself by your last painful experience don't define yourself by your last failure you gotta have sophia's around you that are able to see the call and the gift and the anointing and the treasure of god that you carry in your life because there's a scarlet letter designed to be written by you there's a woman thou art loose there's a business there's a play there's a movie script whatever it is that god is telling you just because you haven't done it yet my god suddenly if you just walk faithfully with god it'll be gradual and then suddenly my god you just wonder god is this thing ever going to materialize is it ever going to come and come into manifestation suddenly suddenly suddenly sarah was 89 years old when she birthed her greatest miracle 89 89. it came gradual and then suddenly her water broke 89 years old and she gave birth to a promise of god you're never too old to be what you could have been suddenly and i just decree in the name of jesus that god would open and expand your territory great leaders what i do as a mentor is not teach people what to think but how to think if you ever get the capacity to just say oh my god how do you do that if you give the how the how to if you get power to think if not not merely what to pray but how to pray the spirit of prayer the burden of prayer but just how to believe not what to believe how if you just you just tap them into a process and if you get faithful if you just get faithful i'm telling you even at the time when you don't believe god will send somebody sometimes you don't even know them it's amazing how god can use somebody [Music] to just speak to you to remind you of the grace and the gift and the treasure from heaven that you carry that puts you back on track in line with your mission your vision your destiny your god call of what you are assigned in this earth to do you're born here to be a blessing to somebody else and don't let the failure and the pain of your parents and your grandparents your four parents don't let that label stay on your back and on your forehead to the degree that it distorts the image of who god has called you to be in spite of where you came from if you're faithful if you walk faithfully with god [Music] god is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent the promises of god are yea and amen god says yes and amen it is so yes it is so yes it is so though terry wait for it wait for it and maybe maybe god has given you a divine sabbatical to start working on what you are becoming and not merely on what you're doing it's time now to start working on what you're becoming maybe your weekend is a gift to you maybe your evening time is a gift to you whenever you're off of your uh your your vocation your assignment that you can start work on working on what you become you don't always get the luxury of just doing it but sometimes god will let you lose something that you think is valuable so that you find the real value that's in your life and i pray [Music] that even in your pain and in your brokenness [Music] that you'll get to that place of desperation you'll come like a japanese and said god enough of this enough of this enough i don't want to go another day another week another month not another year creating the havoc and the earth every place i go i don't want to leave my mark of pain i don't want to leave a carnage of relationships of people that i've hurt god do something in me transform me for your glory and god bring out of me the best work that you have hidden in me and it's not for me god is for others but god prepared this vessel so that i can serve out of this vessel the food that you put in it [Music] may the sweltering heat of oppression that you've been under you've been in hot water but it's simply to get something done on the inside of you god has to use the heat and he needs a host if it's going to grow the temperature's got to change yeah you're in hot water yeah it takes trouble and he just needs to host he says here am i lord said me if you were to submit yourself to god said god i can't do this alone god will send the sofias in your life and i said baby you're so much more than what you're doing right now i see something that's bigger that's in you you'll be seeing your daily work and they'll be seeing your legacy work i'm just here to tell you that there's more to you than what meets the eye there's something that you can only see by the eye of the spirit and it takes a sofia a wisdom that is given by god to see it and to encourage it and to speak life to it until it is birth and manifestation and so what sometimes looks like a burden looks like a problem is a blessing in disguise embrace it and thank god for it because the same thing that breaks you has the capacity also to make you strong may god enlarge your territory and bless you indeed and may he keep you from evil so that you will not cause pain to others i pray jabez's prayer for you today and if you will look up toward god if you don't know him and pray something in essence [Music] like this dear lord [Music] i realize that i am nothing without you but with you all things are possible i submit who i am and what i have into your hands use it for your glory live big in my heart [Music] enlarge my territory bless me indeed o god with your presence of who you are give me an understanding and love for your word [Music] wash me cleanse me transform me and make me everything that you have called me to be in jesus name amen i pray that you've received something from the word of the lord today that has ministered to you and brought life to you and strength to you and that you will continue to grow and walk and have a victorious week in jesus may there come a realignment to your thoughts may god align what you have in between your ears with what he has in heaven praise the greek word homologio which means saying the same thing with your mouth as he says with his word praise is really about divine alignment with what's in heaven also coming on the earth and i'm just here to tell you the more you see the compound effect of assaults against your life the greater the attack the greater the victory the greater the problems the greater the destiny the greater the challenges the greater the triumph god has something amazing store for you don't you dare give up in the middle of getting tired rest if you must but never quit because the lord's with you [Music] and he's trying to enlarge your territory this is just part one next week i'll do part two and bring revelation from heaven itself that was birthed in my spirit as to how you can really enlarge your territory you don't want to miss it i pray that you have a great week be an encouragement to someone else look and see even when you're working on your own stuff and it hasn't come in a manifestation yet use your mouth as a conduit of blessing and ask god to give you spiritual eyes to be able to see the gift of god in others and speak toward that and encourage it and be a wellspring of life make god make you a blessing on your way somewhere to happen may god's favor rest upon you may his light shine upon you and give you peace and what god does for you and in you and to you may he now do through you in jesus wonderful wonderful name god bless you have a
