Echo Fixes Are BAD For Wuthering Waves?

these things are luck gated this is a new term I just invented de diamonds and fellow diamonds and rough there's some talk industry that the echo XP is pretty bad right now in withering waves now for me personally as casual as I am I still haven't seen how Echo XP is bad however I can already tell and every time I'm leveling stuff on stream all everybody is like wa wait don't level that [ __ ] don't do that don't do this because the echo XP is scarce now we've heard that in 1.1 it will be fixed however however according to R man chroma more Echo XP is bad for withering waves I'm curious I'm going go ahead and guess I would assume that because we get to level up Echo quickly we won't have more time to spend on the game leveling our characters which means we might get burnt out too quick of the game which means we might drop the game as we will just start violating everything because let's face it best thing you can do in these games is Farm your gear make your gear more powerful make your characters more powerful through that and you go from there that's typically how things go in these gacha games now for honkai starl I do feel like you stop caring about how your characters are geared up I mean you can do with okay gear but cuz uh the most important thing is actually believe it or not the Synergy between the characters because you know in hawkey St there will always be a new unit next patch and there might be two typically you kind of like always have to save up and get the new unit to keep up with the meta Etc what's man talking about it's come to people's attention that recently the 1.1 post that I covered in my first video specifically about the echo actually had a Mis transation the note I'm specifically referencing is we are going to wait we we had another Miss translation okay where's my 10 poles at yo chat yo you guys are starting to lack out here we have a Mis transation and we're not getting a free tenpole what the [ __ ] is this okay man uninstall what the [ __ ] is this 10 poles or Pickman yeah yeah oh man no freed the yield of echo experience I have been a big critic of specifically doing this my take being that this is a day one player problem and kurl had done a bad miscalculation specifically for when they would give players access to five-star Echoes and how often they would become available for datab Bank level 15 and how easy they were to farm if you were to just grind out the game but the amount of experience you would have versus the amount of gear that was available to you had a severe offset if you really don't get what I'm saying just yet I'd like you to go into wethering waves and I'd like you to look into your inventory and look for advanced tuners and now tell me how many you have and tell me how many you actually got to use the jump between Echo Rarity in terms of use you know going from Three Star to four star to five star is simply too fast it is too fast 100% oh yes a million per. I don't care about purples I don't care about blues or green whatever the color I care about gold that's the only thing that matters and it was very fast it's so fast like I I've never worn a blue Echo I've never worn a blue Echo I've never worn a green Echo the only Echo I've worn at the early game was the free Echo you get because of the web event that's the only Echo I had equipped that's y Chad type one if you've actually had Echoes on you at the start of the game typed you if you're like Echo we don't need them things we got all these five stars for free you don't need them shits one for like two seconds exactly like bro you you really don't need them at all just by the sheer power and force you can start with in the game 100 100% pin leave a monkey emoji if you are the first person to leave a monkey emoji I will pin you in the comments just say and for progression sake It's really hurting the game right now especially if you're a day one player wait how up in the game's progression you're given gear that you're simply just not accounted for to use when you basically have so much of it available to you oh I get it that's true the green the blue all those small Echo are useless that is true because you can't use them as father to level up your other Echoes that that should be a thing about it just just do it like hoo stuff okay just old [ __ ] useless [ __ ] can be used as father allow us to use those old Echoes those the green blue and purples as father to level up the golden Echo like that that is fine that is fine I think it's okay if you do it saing Echo to get XP for example that's not bad you can use data merge to synthesize gold Echoes once you reach higher Data Bank level you can but it's like bro I can just go out in the world and farm them [ __ ] you know what I mean and isn't that the whole point of the it's still a good option I'm not saying get rid of it it's still good I mean it helps a lot with like to get datab Bank stuff but still still like you can just go under World Roam and get the [ __ ] so for me personally like just give it multitude of usage you can swap them you can use them in the data merge and I would like them to be able to be used as father to XP Echo fuse them maybe who knows maybe a fusion of two maybe one could get an attribute of this one I don't know some magic there I don't know you you guys can cook there's so many ideas that you guys can do with Echo feel like it's a great system you just going to do it right in my opinion but father is like like using one Echo to power up another Echo that's like gaming especially Goa gaming one1 like you sacrifice one for the one to be more powerful isn't that the whole point of like getting constellations copies and stuff like that you sacrifice a weapon to make one more powerful Echo you sacrifice one to make the other more powerful like bro it's not it's not rocket science just copy it from ho ver soon you'll be just fine of it available to you the main takeaway from this is that essentially games handed you out this better gear yet fail to account for the resources it would take as well as the fact that what resources you have right now are still been given to you I'm going go ahead and say that's done on purpose I still stand by that fact if we could level everything up and have everything 2020 2020 and everything is already perfect they're no longer incentivizing you to keep playing the game and be sweaty about the game you should have a goal you should have a purpose while playing these games you getting maxed out Echo getting maxed out everything is a goal that should not be achieved in 1.0 let's talk about it in 1.3 or four but as it is right now it should be more grindy and slower okay y'all are going a little too fast come on now a little bit of foreplay y'all ain't doing great at foreplay man she may act like she's coming but trust me it's all an act get on that forl man get on that forl kiss on the back of that ear V res will have no point cuz you can get in the open world and feed them to the ones you like well hold on I I disagree if I'm lazy I can do the resin stuff and get the echo in the casset field if I want to grind if I have time I'm going to go jump out in the world explore do the datab bank stuff open up the Pokedex and see where they at and keep attacking those if I have time but typically GAA Gamers play these games for 15 to 20 minutes 30 minutes tops and they log out that's how it goes specially looking at you China that's how things operate so uh no it's okay not everybody okay this is like a western take not everybody's got all day not all of the rest of the world got all day like us we're just chilling and you can play as as long as you'd like no in certain places you cannot even if you wanted to you cannot I do believe the wave plates being this expensive as they are right now 60 for a boss UH 60 for a tcid field all that it's done on purpose it should be like this I'm pretty sure they will change in the future but as it is right now it has to be like that because there has to be that block has to be as a cap like we don't want you to level up too fast and I like it personally it gives me things to look forward to um rewarded for having a casual mindset as these games encourage these games don't want you to be too sweaty you can be sweaty sure too sweaty no you can be casual that's definitely what they want you to be these games if we're going to be totally honest they want you just play a little bit like a week each patch and you log out until the new character comes out you get that character you play with them for a little bit you log out again until the next patch and so it goes that's the true nature of gotcha game that's what they would love for you to do but if you're dedicated like most players are you log in every day but they EOS to be exper materials and a lot of people will grind like hell and get burnt out very very quickly I agree that's literally what I'm saying too so the the uh wave plate cap should be there I'm pretty sure it will change in the future Echo XP and you having the ability to level them up as fast as you can that will change in the future but as it is right now it should be as it is because we cannot burn through and level up so fast and Ascend this fast in 1.0 in genin Impact I've never heard and I didn't really hear of people already having five star artifacts and leveling up them [ __ ] and having optimized gear and 1.0 of the game I slept I see it naturally leue we will be okay exactly I do think so too if you just sit down and think about it cook I started playing during Arron's banner and I still barely have one team built Venta my man appreciate you pulling up for that there we go there we go if you start the game you cannot start with the ability in the first patch in the first freaking patch you cannot start with being able to get full gear all teams Etc that that should not be possible now because of all the five stars they gave us for free it is technically possible it's you can feel like you can but you shouldn't be able to you can do refreshes if you want and that's how they get you but but you shouldn't be able to at least not easily that's what I would say I think the key part to add is not easily are still being given a bunch of advanced tuners that you cannot use for anything yet it is a St I think they have also announced you can now trade the purples for the golden chat can you confirm yes and that yeah yeah okay okay so that's great that's great item and you also have a bunch of fourstar Echoes in your possessions that you really don't need to use because what happens if you get a fstar echo well becom irr going use the festar echo if it rolls well enough but oh wait now you're just sitting there with a bunch of [ __ ] five star Echoes that is hard to level up cuz you're not accounted for the amount of resources It Takes by the time you actually have unlocked it by the way as the game's power level is right now chat type one if you have a hard time clearing content in with ring waves type two if you don't have a hard time clearing content in with ring waves because I'mma be real I don't have Echo wellb built all that good stuff I'm destroying the game I'm destroying everything in my path like bro I'm violating and what's going to happen when I actually get gear so even the game itself the game itself is is not ready for us to have powerful gear it's just not it's just not two Holograms and Tower of adversity is the only hard content okay we cannot talk about hard endgame content in 1.0 I'm sorry that's not how Goa games are supposed to work it may be the Casual man in me it may be the realistic person in me but I'm sorry Goa games you shouldn't be able to do hard [ __ ] at the start of the 1.0 like bro bro can we wait till 1.1 or two like let give yourself time to grind out [ __ ] get more teams like how are you so fast you know so uh I do believe the game is as fine as it is now now for 1.0 it's okay this will all change in the future this will all change in the future guaranteed that is the biggest issue the issue is not actually rewards and the gain it's the progression yes get to Union level like 60 70 we will be accounted for a bunch of echo experience by that wait isn't the top level Union level 50 80 what the [ __ ] wait the maximum Union level is oh tripping that's wild I did not know that I really thought it was 50 there's someone who's at 55 Jesus Christ point however we're already grinding it 30 levels earlier and what I'm about to say here is mainly an opinion but I personally believe that we unlocked Echo too fast and we should have basically had unlocked it maybe at 35 or at 40 so I don't think it's a bad thing that we're able to unlock them right now because these things are luck gated this is a new term I just invented these are luck gated I need to be lucky enough to be able to get them shits where they roll the way I want them to roll that takes time the earlier I can get them the earlier I can farm for them gives me more probability to get the echo I want and by the time I actually reach a higher Union level and I can tackle harder harder content I do believe this is best it it's too fast maybe and it can create a sense of well I want to level all this [ __ ] but I can't because I don't have enough material and even the tasset drops are low it's like bro what is this I want to perfect my units I'm I'm in a rush I want this now and that's okay people don't like to wait anymore this is society 101 today ain't none of y'all waiting two days for a delivery we want that Amazon Prime instant delivery that's a fact but but uh as these games go they need to stall you and keep your attention as much as possible which means you looking out and wanting to reach certain things in the game that they they need to do that or else they'll just lose you and you'll lose your passion towards the game it's like you wanting to [ __ ] a [ __ ] day one but it's like if you do that you'll lose a lot of interest you have towards the [ __ ] right it's like go out enjoy her company more you just might start seeing it she's more than just you know that and plus plus when you actually do get that eventually you know I feel like she grown on you and all that good stuff you know what I'm saying the real end game Echo Farm is you need to get both crit rate and crit damage at a high role which in theory is a very long time to grind I mean that's you being a too like you got to keep increasing the probability you get it that's why you refresh you refresh because you're trying again and again the problem is the substats like the problem has always been the sub stats don't get me started on Gan in the main stat like that that's a huge topic on its own like people I like to you I'm not I started as a genin streamer and a lot of players I've encountered in my GHIN Journey Back in the Day they've quit because they didn't drop a single crit rate artifact they've never got it for months I'm like are you for real this like I'm for real dude like [ __ ] this game [ __ ] this system I am out cuz I can't do and get the [ __ ] I'm doing while doing the endgame stuff this is the stuff that's supposed to keep me or some time to time you're supposed to tease me by a good main stat at some point they gave up they're like bro I don't even like want the main stat and the subset I just want the main stat they can't even get that imagine that [ __ ] for sure getting is fine rolling is luck gating exactly which makes them automatically luck gated I mean in honai staro you can literally uh get the main stat you want you can literally get it if you want to you do you have an item it's tough to get but you can so why is it a problem why should we not get more Echo XP here's the simple thing you remove the Grind from the game I was farming for the purple bird for 3 days straight all I get is Fusion birds with Electro DMG bonus or vice versa and when rolling for piece I get creep AMG but when rolling for DPS piece I get a flat has stacked F4 HP welcome to God Chad exist yo Chad do you agree with this statement so when you roll for a DPS piece you get flat HP in defense and when you roll for a support piece you get crits that's uh very accurate man I'm not going to lie that's very accurate welcome to Goa I disagree just get lucky it's that easy okay you removed the Grind from the game yes now let me say this I don't mind giving more Echo XP at lower Union levels and more Echo XP at soulace level four I do not mind that I think that's a fine idea but do not change it for the whole game if you get players to basically play your game for so long that they essentially just lose retention I.E just farming Echo that's what I'm saying too them up all the way or trash them when they find out the substats are bad you're going to have problems because people are progressing through the game and they will run out of content too fast the thing about Echo grinding and the thing about Relic grinding in any sort of gacha game in this regard is if you give them the ability to cycle through all the trash pieces and all the potential God pieces too fast and also cycle through them level them up and see if they're or not TR them go on to the next one because well Echo farming is practically infinite for cost echos are quite literally infinite which is a risk that c Games took they took the risk of making a usually stamina gated activity permanently farmable except for basically leveling up that gear but in short yes we unlocked five star Echo way too early and also Kuro did not make the right calculations for us to really just progress naturally now I think the the one thing you missed here is the luck gating part like if I get them early I get to have more chances to get the gear I want so I I think it's great I think it's great I think that's the only L take you had here but the rest is you cooked and way more fluidly to Five Star Echoes from fourstar Echoes we have way too many Advanced Shooters and we just don't get enough Echo experience to level up five star Echoes but we do for four star Echoes and so on there was a miscalculation in that regard and that is the biggest issue and if you dis I I don't think it's a miscalculation I think it's done on purpose they understand they understand that [ __ ] is loated it takes time takes a lot of time to get the [ __ ] you want especially for every unit tough tough
