Dreaming with people meaning. | Dream Element

[Music] here at streams we are constantly being asked what different elements might mean in dreams and here's one that almost everybody has in a dream people now there's all kinds of different people so not everybody has the same person in their dream but almost everybody has people in their dream so when you see someone in your dream how do you figure out what they mean because one of the common mistakes that we make is oh I saw you in my dream I had a dream about you but that's not necessarily the case so here's the first question you ask do you know this person or do you not know this person if the person in the dream you know them in waking life then you want to start asking questions how are they related to you are they somebody from your work are they somebody from your school are they somebody from your church are they part of your family they could represent that people group or be saying that the dream is about something going on in that people group is it something particular about that person maybe you see somebody in your dream and whenever you think of that person you think of a particular spiritual gift that you have a common one that people talk to us here our streams about it and they saw John Paul Jackson and their drain like I saw John Paul what does that mean and often it just means it's a prophetic message because John Paul was a prophetic person he would represent a prophetic message and so God would use him in a dream to represent a prophetic message or or maybe you saw Billy Graham in your dream and it would represent an evangelistic or an evangelism in some form maybe you see your pastor and it's talking about the pastoral or sometimes a pastor because of their position the word pastor comes from the same root as Shepherd it could be talking about the great Shepherd could be talking about Jesus showing up or or maybe it's the position a mother could represent the church or it could be your actual mom a father could be father God or it could be your father or it could be a father figure that's in your life and so it might be who they are to you it might be that actual person or it might be the position or some characteristic that they play maybe the the president you see the president in your dream and it's not representing the president it's not even necessarily representing the nation that they are the leader of but if they're the the top leader in a nation it could represent God that is one of the ways because he's the top leader and so it could be that another thing it could be their name do you know their name I mean obviously if there's somebody that you know in waking life you're probably gonna know what their name is and sometimes the name meaning can have some understanding as to what they would represent in a dream now don't go crazy on this because I've seen this again and again people start like oh I got to figure out the meaning of their name and then everybody that shows them their dream they're figuring out the meaning of their name not necessarily sometimes that is the case but you only want to go there if Holy Spirit is prompting you to go there but when you look up the meaning of someone's name let me give you a suggestion most of us have our smartphones are a way to get on the internet you can google the name and then the word name meaning so John name meaning and it'll pop up what that meaning is you always want to look at the inherent meaning of the name if it says the spiritual connotation or the spiritual meaning of the name all that is is whatever the author thinks it's not inherent about that name it's just the person that wrote it thinks that it may or may not be helpful and in all the times that I've looked that up I've only found one time that was ever helpful at all to the meaning of the dream so it usually confuses more than helps but the inherent meaning of the name is more often what it would represent so do you know them what position do they have what what feelings do you have towards that person are they somebody that is a friend are they somebody that is an enemy is the same in waking life as it is in in the dream those are questions you'd ask now what if you don't know the person maybe it's somebody that you know of but you don't know those are more likely something that they would represent than ever being about that person more likely now it may be you just don't know them at all what did they do in the dream were they helping the dream happen or did they hinder the dream happening that could be they might be a spiritual being especially if you don't see their face there we have the sight we call it faceless people that show up and dream that faceless people doesn't mean they don't have a face it just means when you wake up you can't picture their face now maybe in the dream there was nothing unusual but when you wake up and you try to remember exactly what their face looks like you just can't quite remember or maybe they were right here and you never quite saw their face or or maybe when you look at their face it's just they're always looking in another direction or looking away faceless people are often spiritual beings and so pay attention are they good are they bad is there light around them is there darkness around them are they helping are they hindering what kind of spiritual qualities do they exude or is the person wearing some type of cultural clothing maybe it's just somebody that you don't know but then they're wearing maybe they're wearing Native American garb or they're they're there they're wearing something from China or something from Africa it could represent the culture that they're dressed up as and so it's a calling to that bloodline or calling to that country or that culture they're representing something from that so you want to pay attention to that do they have a name in the dream sometimes you know what their name is you don't know why you know but it's funny how revelation works sometimes you just know stuff that you don't know why you know it and so if maybe you know what their name is what did they do were they helping they're constantly helping well this is helper Oh what else is helper well Holy Spirit is sometimes called helper maybe it was Holy Spirit so you're looking for those kind of clues to understand what they might mean in dreams so if you start asking these questions you'll probably be able to dial in and figure out what most of the major people in your dreams mean hopefully that's helpful that's another interesting dream element
