Disney Castle Base | Minecraft Base Invaders Challenge

- ducks chillin in a hot tub hey guys what's up ldshadowlady here welcome back to basic betas you probably know how this challenge works by now but just in case you don't each of us built a base filled with puzzles traps and secrets and we hide our own skull somewhere in that base then we take it in turns to invade those bases and try and retrieve each of the skulls from inside but there's a five-minute time limit and that's why we call it the base invaders challenge so our base invaders this time are Stefan Sims Lauren seaside and Theo are in sound but before we do any base invading we have to do some base building after I saw a comment on the last video suggesting this I just had to do it a Disney themed base so if you've been a shadow cadet for a while then you'll probably recognize this build it's supposed to be a replica of my Disney castle from the crazy craft series slightly down scaled of course to fit within a 25 by 25 base limits and now that we have this crazy base built we just need to fill the inside with traps puzzles and challenges so the first thing we need to do with my base is decide where to hide my skull and I think we're gonna go for a slightly villainous theme to our Disney Castle so I have built a dark chamber here where my skull will be stored and how did it get there you ask well every Disney movie needs a good villain that does crazy things such as locking random people's skulls behind bars and our villain today is evil Mickey I'm gonna create him as an NPC by playing a Mickey skull on top of a wither skeleton so let's summon evil Mickey oh what have I created that is horrifying it's perfect okay so I guess at this point we should explain to the base invaders how they are meant to retrieve my skull from inside obviously evil Mickey is the gatekeeper and they will have to give him what he wants before he will let them have the skull but what does Mickey want he wants the base invaders to go on a Disney journey each of the towers in the castle is going to house a different Disney character and they're going to have to collect something from each one and give it to Mickey and he'll open the door I'm gonna display the items that Mickey wants right above his head here so first of all he wants dragons breath and emerald a diamond an oak log and a feather now bonus points if you guys can guess which Disney characters I have in mind that they are going to collect these items from let's start with the craziest item first the dragon's breath normally a very rare item in Minecraft that requires you to meet face to face with an ender dragon but our base invaders will be coming a face-to-face with a Disney dragon Maleficent to be specific and she is going to hang out up in the biggest tower up here it's looking a little bit pink and cute in here and Maleficent is kind of evil so it's makeover time now all we need is a Maleficent tada oh wow she looks so magnificent now the challenge area is set up we need to actually put a challenge in here so Miller pheasant is evil obviously she wants people to suffer so in order to get the dragon's breath from her they're gonna need to solve her riddle which is if you want my breath you must first perish it means exactly what you think it means it means you have to die and to help them with their quest to die I'm going to place some lava on either side here when you do die you wake up in here instead which is an identical room from the last it's just a bullet in the tower so when they die they'll progress upwards through the tower until they eventually reach the top where she'll give them at the dragon's breath but they're gonna have to die a few times first this time I'm gonna change the sign to say that was delightful do it again but this time there is no lava instead I'm going to put a chest here which is full of llama spawn eggs for some peculiar reason and and a splash potion of poison now in case it isn't obvious they are meant to splash themselves with the poison and while their health is going down they can spawn in some llamas because the poison will only take them down to half a heart they will need to lose that other half somehow the best way is to provoke a llama and it will use its spit attack so this time they will respawn on the third and final level where once again they will be greeted with Maleficent one more time as you can see I have opened up a hole here and out here I'm going to put something I like to call the rollercoaster of death yes you heard me correctly and this is just going to descend all the way down and I mean all the way down to the very bottom of the world well I guess we should test it out though so let's hop in go down we go to imminent death all the way down into the void oh very good I was in a flying minecart perfect and then they will respawn up here where Maleficent will be waiting for them she says I suppose that's enough death for today and in the chest here will be the dragon's breath and the way out of here is up the ladder this is just a fire escape so they got to go up but of course this is Disney so it's a magical fire escape button that takes you to the fire assembly point at the entrance of the castle so that is how they collect one of the items that they require the next item evil Mickey wants is an emerald and the Disney character for that is Merida from brave and her challenge will take place in here but before they start this challenge they'll need to be greeted by Merida so there we go girl you were looking good oh my goodness that's actually kind of terrifying so let's get a sign here that says complete target practice and I'll give you an emerald and let's just do a little decorating in here and then we can go and make the archery range downstairs I have completed the archery range it has a nice little chicken coop nature theme to it so all they'll have to do is shoot three of the targets there's a bow and some arrows in here and they will probably start to shoot at the targets at first but Merida whispers nope not that one and that isn't the right target well maybe it's the sneaky one on the tree here let's try shooting at that one Merida whispers to you Mickey wants us to practice on live targets don't don't and you know what that means we're not a shoot these chickens so I'm gonna go for the one in the coop first and then wipe out the other ones as well and she gives us the ever old we can just discard the murder weapons and get back out of here so that is Merida's challenge for the Emerald next up I'm gonna do the feather which comes from none other than a Donald Duck and he is gonna be in here Donald Duck this way and he is them in a hot tub where else would Donald Duck be so let's spawned him in the hot tub I'm actually gonna spawn in another one because then they could be two ducks chilling in a hot tub okay that's actually kind of creepy so I'm just gonna put a sign here go down the drain and face I will underwater challenge so as gross as it is they're gonna have to go down the hot tub drain where they will be transported so I've changed this all to prison to fit with the underwater theme and I'm gonna design it first but then I'm going to fill this place with water entirely so they'll have to do this challenge under water obviously the aim of the game down here is to find the feather and I'm going to hide it very strategically in a sugar box which I am disguising to look like a bit of coral reef so I'm gonna hide it in this box right here but to make it even harder I'm gonna add more coral reef structures but then because I'm not completely evil I'm gonna give them a clue for where to look so in this chest right here it says take a closer look at the blue coral and then I'm gonna put some sunken boats down here because that would just look super cool now the last thing I need to do is fill this place with water but doom oh my gosh that looks so bad let's only have it partly filled and now all they need is a weight out of here so in the back here I'm gonna put a fire escape so when they press this they will be teleported back to the fire assembly point ready to get the last two items which they can find in here so they'll have to go down to see the dwarfs up to see Pinocchio so let's start with Pinocchio who is obviously going to give us the local hog I mean o´clock because he's made of wood let's spawn him in oh oh look how cute he is he looks so freaky just like everything else let's give him a sign it says I need to practice lying seek out my life for a reward so when they're ready to begin the challenge they compress the I'm ready button and they will be teleported to the lie room I'm just gonna cover the walls of this room in facts about Minecraft but one of them is a lie so here are the facts you can tell a wolf's health by looking at its tail creepers are scared of assad's and will run away from them the cake recipe requires one egg ghasts spawn in the nether polar bears spawn in icy biomes the wither is summoned using eight wither skulls and finally potato crops can produce a poisonous potato now which one of these is the lie well if you want a huge noob then you know the wither is summoned with three wither skulls not eight so if they manage to get a like correct the first time they will receive the log and be teleported outside but if they fail to guess correctly they will meet a terrible fate death by magic so that's four out of the five items collected the last one is the diamond which is going to come from the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White and they hang out down here okay I really Tommy bullets add in all seven dwarves so we're just gonna pretend that the rest of them died in some kind of mining accident and sleepy doc and grumpy are going to issue the challenge instead the rest of the dwarfs died in a horrific mining accident we're all too scared to venture into the cave so you can take all the diamonds you want so we have a minecart leading all the way down into the depths of the cave and down into this pit which was presumably the site of the mining accident that all the dwarves died in it's born zombie pigmen which seems terrifying at first until you realize zombie pigmen are not hostile unless you attack them first so the final item we'll be waiting for them in this chest right here one little diamond and once they have it they can climb back out of the cave and make their way back up into the castle now I'm not exactly sure which order they are going to try and collect these items in but it doesn't matter they can do it in any order that they wish as long as they get them all in the five minutes and they give them to evil Mickey this goal will unlock so now I guess all that's left to do is test it so let's make sure that when we put in the five items it will give us the head yes oh my gosh the firework just exploded the armorstand but that looked pretty cool I'm not sure why my head has a scuba thing on right now but this is a cute look so I guess the question now is can the other players complete my base in under five minutes make sure to check out their videos if you are curious but first it's time for me to raid their bases okay so the first one is Lauren's base let's unveil next up is my build are you ready oh my god I recognize her yes it's a crazy craft next i am proud to announce Stefan's first ever minecraft base the final build is Ollie's it's facing babies whose faces are they surely you can tell it's very like I'm melting well those are our bases so it's time to start raiding them so the first base I will be invading is Lauren's emoji base she probably hit her head all the way at the top in the big poop I have no idea why she would put her own head there but it's our mission to retrieve it so let the timer begin and we will start okay welcome to emoji tower each emoji holds a challenge corresponding with that emotion first up is the crying laughing emoji above our three water slides made of tears choose wisely so we have to choose a teary water slide I hear lava this way this one's probably the correct one I'm gonna hope that this leads me the right way where am i oh I'm taking the waterslide of tears Oh Oh No okay well let's try again it was a different waterslide of Tears maybe this one is the right one after all let's see where it goes quick I don't have time wait where am I my head Congrats press the button I feel silly now that was the right one all along oh no I've got nausea for a whole minute I'm not gonna be able to do this huh you don't look so good I don't feel so good this is so freaking hard I don't even know where this fence is oh my gosh you guys have no idea how difficult this is I can't believe I'm doing it I feel so ill but I'm doing surprisingly well oh okay we're almost there huh I'm so good at this I'm sup No okay this time I'm not gonna step on the pressure plate this is not promising and I don't have the nausea anymore but I don't know how to get up there huh I did it I did it okay let's go search your heart for more wheat so to my heart nausea medicine I don't need that yeah search my heart what does that do okay we have this but what can I do wait oh this is the heart emoji there's more here am I supposed to breathe the sheep maybe there's so much wheat but what do I do with it I guess we'll try and breed them this could be so totally wrong oh it did something what ah oh my gosh hello keep the door open for me dang it stupid will sheep come in just stand right there for me please you stay there I've got to go okay oops your heart had a for total wheat hope you found the other two oh I only got three where's the other oh there it is okay now oh my gosh this sheep followed me up come on I'm took the pressure plate I need to go stay there go stupid sheep why are you trying to sabotage me hah okay what do I do with this extra wheat cows let's do some more breeding who's a little baby haha let me do ah all you need is love okay turn around you reach the final pill emoji Congrats now you have to dig with your hands - its disgusting slide to find my head it's somewhere along the floor whoa no I ran out of time and I got this poop slime all over my hands well we failed to retrieve Lauren's head but I made it to the very top of the tower at least so now it's time to try it at the next base I'm a little bit nervous about this because Steph's face looks terrifying but hey it's minecraft how bad could it be let's see go you have five letter blocks to find they will spell out the location of the key on my head okay so we need a key to unlock her head but how do we get inside do I go through the fire I'm gonna do it anyway okay into the devil's mouth we go hey guys it's me steve-o simms back with the daily minecraft video you have entered my mind did you know we know less about the human mind in space 200 IQ needed to enter uh well I guess I can't enter there's a chest there it's got a leaver let's just place it there I guess now we are inside the devil's mind there's her head but obviously we can't get to it right now you are entering hell Steph Oh sin welcomes you okay so anything in here out that we might need perhaps down there ah is there something here oh wait this doesn't feel right am I supposed to be here I got a little lost look at it go let's try this side instead is there something that we need we're looking for a letter Steph's brain is hell but it doesn't have to be like this find everything you need from the maze to help Steph make a mental switch okay this is a map oh my gosh what the heck am I looking at is the leave of below me oh wait maybe I need a fire resistance potion and I actually have to go in the lava so is there a chest yes there is a the chest must be over here somewhere I'm gonna search under the lava maybe I have to go down there well there's only one way to find out is there a chest here oh they're wise I didn't see what was in it though okay if that's a fire resistance potion and that's how we do this but how do I reach it without dying okay we're gonna be really really quick go oh no it's a fire resistance potion but it is a letter the letter O okay well looking at this map it looks like there's another chest over here somewhere I just don't know where oh it was down there okay we got the fire innocence that means now we can go and get the letter oh thank goodness got the Oh is there anything else perhaps a lever to get out of here oh there it is now let's get out here I'm still on fire but that's fine let's go up I wasted so much time in there Oh No let's try all the paintings and all the weavers really quick hopefully I don't set fire to this place that would be a disaster I think this is where I'm gonna die I don't know where to go where the heck oh wait there's a chest bear but how do I get to it maybe there we go I can't believe I got so confused by a pair of trap doors let's get out here more slime are you serious click this not clickbait oh it didn't do anything get ready to slay some DIY slime oh no I was ready to slice of DIY slime we only got one of the five letters to help us find the key and I have no idea what I just experienced in this place this was the strangest base I have ever invaded so now it's time to take on the final base ali's base of faces in particular Lauren's Steph's and my face I'm terrified but intrigued so let's do it that's not I'm gonna read this sign face invaders it's time for us to get to know each other explore each other's heads climb higher and find yourself succeed and maybe you'll even get to know me a little better or lose that's possible good luck okay so this sign says put leavers on gold stuff flirty Matic 5000 faulty a weight repair could probably use a screwdriver or something okay so we need a screwdriver yield milk shop to make your bones stronger but there's no milk where's the milk guy am I supposed to go through here Lauren's brain is big it'll take a big jump to get up to her frontal cortex better start hunting for something useful in here okay oh wait there's loads of stuff instant damage night-vision watch to book it that's not really helpful maybe a jump boost potion Joel's wooden leg Ollie's button nose that could be handy Lizzy's really nice spade okay there's nothing that is super helpful regen jump boost so I'm gonna try the jump boost and then get up and out of here ha have I do it to succeed you'll need to get to know Lauren into her brain it's probably cute and cuddly or I could just wait I need a ladder to put on the gold yes that's going to Lauren's brain so it turns out learns brain is one big horror game bet to find the eight pages before it's too late eight pages is this slender oh my gosh I don't think I'm gonna even make out Lauren's brain well there's a page I can put one there's one up back how do I get to it at least there's nothing spooky in here no monsters or anything danger deep water ah that means there's probably something at the bottom right or wrong there is we got three of the pages I don't TV paper there's a bit okay we've got four pages we still need to know the far here's another oh there's one right by the entrance right guys okay we have six of the eight pages here's another one we're just looking for the last one there's a little Cavey bit here there must be a page yeah it is okay we got all eight pages I think we're supposed to put them over here insert your notes here and there dispenser uh-huh oh it took them oh my gosh it opened this is like a horror game haha you fool now you're trapped in my mind unless the painting yes why would I see do it let's get out what what what the heck why am i back here I'm literally never gonna escape out of Lauren's head a roll the chest is there there's a ladder finally we can get out of Lauren and into stuff I hope this one's faster I'm almost out of time you did it now on to Steph's head I wouldn't know what she thinks about welcome to Steph OHS brain here you must complete the Sims tasks classic Steph oh don't forget to grab your mouse from the chest okay what the heck are we supposed to oh my gosh is this villager fishing what on earth is this this is so funny it looks like The Sims always just put them in the holes yes he's in ok next one next one Bruce wants to be toasty well here it is kind of toasty Gertrude wants a sandwich will Gertrude is dead Gertrude is gone there is no Gertrude oh my gosh I've fallen in now I'm Gertrude well this is my life now I am a sim added a couple of villagers so that I can actually complete this so let's hope we can get them in the hole really quickly get in the hole this is so fiddly get out of the hot tub get in the hole get in the frickin hole go yes Congrats on escaping Steph's brain difficult but okay got it go Coco ha it's my brain finally Lizzie's brain what mysteries are in store oh my gosh that's a lot of pink welcome to Lacey's brain in hey you must take the famous cuteness test succeed and get ahead No well I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pass the cuteness test anyway but unfortunately I didn't get the paperwork for completing the test because I didn't get to take it so I guess it turns out that I am a complete failure and I did not manage to retrieve any of the heads from any of the bases this time
