DISCORD MIC NOT WORKING! *FIX!*

hello guys is it Sonic we're here and welcome back to no good in my channel in this video I'm gonna be showing you guys how to fix this Michael itch in discord where your friends can't hear you but you can hear your friends so without further ado let's go ahead of me in this video [Music] alright guy said well be sure to get variety in this video so we're just going to be multiple fixes that helped me in the past and I will be showing you guys some fixes that I found off the internet as well so you guys can go ahead and try all of them I'm sure one of these are going to work for you so the first thing we will be doing is going to our user settings and then go to voice settings and then go ahead and scroll down and find reset voice settings and then click OK it'll only take a few seconds for to reap op we want to pops-up go to settings again go to voice and select your mic now for me I'm going to be selecting my blue Yeti microphone if you have multiple mics and you don't know which one you want to use make sure you go ahead and go to the audio icon down in the task manager and go ahead select recording devices and then you will and then if you could see the wave right here just talk into the mic and see what when he is yours and it should have the name right there and it should correspond with the voice settings in discord let's go ahead and select your mic and then for output device you will need to select your head your headset or if you're using a laptop keep it at default because you don't have any external USB or audio jacks and plug in so laptop at default if you're using a headset select your speaker's USB audio device alright so the next thing you can do is go ahead and log in and log out so I've seen this one on the internet a few times so I just want to bring this into this video I don't know who came up with it but offhand but anyway just go ahead and go to your user settings and scroll down to see logout go ahead and click logout and then all you will need to do is go ahead and sign in I had a few issues logging out though it took a few tries I don't know why it might happen to you might not and then just go in typing all your credentials it'll only take a few seconds just to load in so it's not going to take long anyway so there's another thing I need to show you guys make sure go-to voice settings and if you see that automatically detect voices or input sensitivity as you can see whenever I talk you can see that it pops up if it does not pop up for you that means have a prom with your mic so make sure you go ahead and update drivers do what you have to do to make it work again make sure it's plugged in go talk to support about your mic do what you have to do to make it work so you guys enjoy this video please leave a thumbs up and I'll see you guys in the next video
