After watching, why not Ask Hannibal Anything? All serious questions will receive honest answers, and no subject is taboo. What would you like to know?
Oh great, now I'm going to be up all night watching magic videos on youtube... Thanks a lot.
In the middle there is the perfect example of "Magician's choice". He didn't ask what would happen once the lady in the middle chose "Cup a or b", he just asked her to pick one. If she had said "B", it still would have turned out the same.
There is no version of the Cups & Balls more elegant, entertaining and educational than Ricky Jay's... Still love it some 20 years later.

His audience is terrible. Like god awful.
Fuck that camera man. He's doing slight of hand magic and at one point it literally goes in for a closeup of his face. Useless.
I enjoy sleight of hand out of all magic tricks because of the skill involved in concealing true actions. I appreciate the time and effort put into making a performance that appears effortless.
The magician here is Chris Hannibal. He is an absolutely amazing slight of hand artist. He lives and works out of Charlotte NC but travels for shows. I have known him for years and seen his work up close a number of times. He used to work the room at a favorite restaurant of mine. He would sit down and the table and tell stories and do card tricks. Even only a few feet away the show is great. You know it's a trick but seeing it is almost impossible even when you know it is coming. He has a pretty regular gig at Petra's Piano bar in Charlotte. If you are within driving distance I highly recommend going to see him.
