thou has been favorable unto thy land thou has brought back the captivity of jacob thou has given thou has forgiven the iniquity of thy people thou has covered all our sins thou has taken away all thy wrath thou has turned thyself from the the furious after an anger thou oh god of our salvation and has caused an anger toward us to seize thou wilt thou be hungry with us forever without draw out thine hunger to all generation will thou not revive us again that thy people may rejoice in thee show us thy mercy o lord and grant us thy salvation i will hear what god the lord will speak for he will speak peace unto his people unto his saints but let them not turn away again to folly surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him that glory may dwell in our land mercy and fruits are met spite of regardless of jesus is alive and well hallelujah hallelujah we worship the lord and so this morning i'm just going to ask you to turn your bibles to saint matthew chapter and we're going to read a few verses verse 16 through to 20. then the 11 disciples went away into galilee into a mountain where jesus had appointed them and when they saw him they'll worship him but some doubted and jesus came and spoke unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in heart go therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i command that you and lo i am with you always even unto the end of the world hallelujah gracious god and our father this morning we worship you we adore you we bow down before your lord jesus because we know that you're great and you're wonderful there is none like you this morning and so we thank you for this privilege that we can come on this platform and the virtual space oh god to report one more time that you are a great powerful god through your word hallelujah and so this morning we pray that you'll sanctify your word one more time i stand in the gap this morning i am nothing i'm just human hallelujah but i am ready to be used by thee just have your way this morning father come on holy ghost come on holy ghost i asked for your direction in the name of the father and in the name of the son and in the name of the blessed holy ghost we tell your thanks in jesus name hallelujah and i just want to say to us this morning as i stand here to encourage our hearts hallelujah and to tell somebody that jesus christ is alive and that we're here to tell others hallelujah as the word declare we're going to spread it all over we're going to shout it and we're going to blow the trumpet hallelujah because he bid us to teach and to observe and all nation must come to acknowledge him i just stand here to tell you i'm just a sinner saved by grace hallelujah hallelujah jesus saved me 40 years ago and i just want to declare how wonderful this journey is when you give jesus your all hallelujah because it's there for you from the beginning and it surely will be with you to the very end and so my topic this morning the great commission the great commission we read the word hallelujah and in this preacher as i extract from the passage that stated just want to tell you this morning the reason christ appears to his disciple on a mountain in galilee and announces to them that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me having proclaimed is transcendent majesty and power as a resurrected one jesus then commissioned his disciple to embark on this new mission he charges them to make disciples to all nations and to instruct them to baptize new believers in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost jesus further orders them to teach and to obey all that he has commanded them and he sent them on their mission with words of comfort and he and that he will be with them through the very end of the age hallelujah hallelujah and it's so important for us as believers to obey the words of the almighty god however in this passage from matthew 28 as the first day of the week dawns barry mcnally and the other mary were going to see the tomb as angels from heaven arrives accompanied by a great earthquake and ruled by the stone and the guards at the tomb become like dead men the angels announced to the woman that jesus has been raised and instead then they go and tell the disciples and they shall meet him in galilee hallelujah oh glory to god hallelujah hallelujah we bless the name this morning hallelujah and i want to say to us brethren in verse 16 where their 12 apostles know were 11 and so much a report that the great commission will be falling on the 11 disciples and so as jesus would tell the the the woman to tell the disciples many things great things wonderful things happen on the mountain and i'm going to share with you some of the things that happen on the mountains the mountains are the sermon on the mount where jesus says in matthew chapter five and all these verses that jesus begins with his disciples he said what i say unto you come on you're gonna read verse 22. we don't have the time to go through the verses now you're gonna read verse 28 and verse 32 and verse 39 and verse 44 jesus begin to say to his disciples i say unto you i say unto you go forth and so on the mountain of the last temptation matthew 4 verse 1 through 11 and after the temptation of the devil and he saw jesus hallelujah in verse 11 of the chapter four of matthew jesus says to him get the hand satan for it is written thou shalt worship the lord thy god and him holy shall thou serve hallelujah hallelujah glory to the name of the lord hallelujah on the other mountain the mountain of transfiguration saint matthew 17 and verse 1 and 2 you can read verse 2 verses to 9. hear what took place on the mountain of transfiguration and after six days jesus taketh peter james and john his brother and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart and was transfigured before them and his face did shine as the sun and his raiment as white as snow hallelujah and so brethren i can tell you whenever jesus speaks into your spirit and whatsoever he commanded you to do being obedient and go and do as he command you to do yeah hallelujah hallelujah and this first time the gospel glory to god hallelujah in verse 17 we find the disciples together since jesus was arrested and the disciple deserted him this was the very first time they're going to come back to meet him on the mountain and so here what matthew 26 and verse 56 says but all this was done that the scripture of the prophets might be fulfilled then all the disciples for succumbing fled can you imagine graduating the disciples state of mind as they proceed going towards jesus to meet him hallelujah hallelujah finally they see jesus they bow in worship yes but some doubted and you would question why some doubted hallelujah being seeing jesus after his resurrection having doubt about matters sorry this is one of the most dull defined moment in christian history the disciples seen in their own eyes the resurrected jesus yet they doubted likewise many of us today hallelujah especially what is happening worldwide wonder if or why god allow it we doubted for so many things in our life but we need to know that as human glory to god this will happen and so having doubt the matter of faith doesn't make you a hypocrite you need to know that we are human and see how jesus will deal with these disciples in the situation of their doubted mind if you have experienced doubt in your own faith remember that doubt and faith are not the opposite ask god to help you work it through to your doubts ways that will make your faith even more stronger so don't believe us christian as we go along yes we don't and many times we fail hallelujah it's human hallelujah so we need to know don't class people has been hypocrite for some of the things that a human tend to to to happen that happened to the human nature but god is there to help you jesus does not rebuke his disciples he understands their doubt but he's speaking to their faith hallelujah he understands their frailty hallelujah nevertheless he calls them to carry his work and we are sure this morning that we have that confidence that jesus will take us through to continue his work here on earth because the disciples hallelujah were there with him when he really prayed for them when they were going through the human hallelujah situation the disciples came to jesus he expect them to fulfill the great commission in verse 18. all authority as he spoke to them has been given to me in heaven and on earth hallelujah he has given dominion glory and kingship and all the people and nation and language should serve him his everlasting dominion shall not pass away and the kingship is one that shall never be destroyed and that's what we are doing today hallelujah the name and the work of god shall not will not go under in spite of we will carry this great commission to go out and to tell others that come because jesus is alive and well yes to know him as savior and lord hallelujah hallelujah glory to god some of the things that we would believe this morning of this great man of this man christ jesus in saint luke 23 and verse 38 when we read the superscription was written over the cross hallelujah and those letters was in greek and in latin and in hebrew this is the king of the jews this is the king of the old heart this is the savior of humanity hallelujah and so every language tongue and nation will understand oh hallelujah who jesus is to you hallelujah glory to god we bless the name of the lord and because of the authority that he has given unto them because of the authority that he has given unto us matthew 10 and verse 1 when jesus tells his disciples that he gave them authority over unclean spirit to cast them out to heal every kind of disease and every sickness this is what we are here this morning in this fasting service this is what we are telling you in your different spaces that the authority and the power that you have given unto you you can say to sickness and disease and to demons and devils that you have authority and power with them and they must be subjected to the name of jesus hallelujah when we call on the name of jesus demons will have to flee yes and situation has to be mended hallelujah hallelujah saint luke 10 verse 18 and 19 church family virtual space audience listen to what jesus said i beheld satan as lightning falling from heaven behold hallelujah i give you power to tread on serpents and scorpion on all power off the enemy and nothing nothing naturally known why we hurt you what other word you need to receive this morning and through the world then to believe disciple must go baptize and teach in other words the idea is simple learning but we also must live and commit our life hallelujah once we become a disciple of christ we must be in obedience we must in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we ask lord god for the homes the different home the nursing home family home day care you know all about them jesus the business places god the hospital the clinics the doctor's office they are experiencing lord persecution mental situation and it doesn't matter the counseling it doesn't matter what it says to them lord there are times when the enemy use so many things to log into their system into their minds and into their thought but we asked this morning jesus for a special visitation for your people that are going through these different illnesses come true for somebody who has been waiting and calling on you jesus because the other person may not understand what they are saying what they are going through why they have to act this way but you know holy ghost emotion visit that woman those women visit those men visit the children we know god that they need you at this time and so lord jesus sometimes we have to just stand in the gap and repent on the behalf of all these that are happening jesus so that you can come true for somebody hallelujah we all present dear god seniors they are going through their isolation destitution and also depression and fear lord god but visit them jesus let them not lose hope lord we present those senior men and women lord we have tall in the day and in the night they are tall for years lord was a man in the land of us whose name was job and that man was perfect and upright and one that feared the god and esteemeth evil and they were born unto him seven sons and three daughters his substance also was seven thousand sheep and three thousand camels and five hundred of ox and 500 she asses a very great household so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east and his sons went and feasted in their houses everyone his day and sent and called their three sisters to eat and to drink with them and it was so when the days of their feasting were gone about that job sent about all that he has and every side thou has blessed the work of his hands and his substances praise god is increased in the land but put forth thine hand now and touch all that he hath and he will
