illuminate our consciences that are darkened intellects who believe that it is a good choice to be enlightened that the misleading of the evil one is not the truth but a dangerous falsehood lord jesus we ask you to bless and protect the children who today are in their mother's wombs save them from the danger of abortion give their mothers the grace to sacrifice themselves and for the child in body finished celebrating a very special solemnity of our lady's immaculate conception on december the 8th and coming up this saturday on december the 12th we'll be celebrating the feast of our lady of guadalupe now these two celebrations bookend very important days because the three days in between are a great opportunity to ask her intercession to pray for us to god and for us to say to our lord that we are sorry for our sins and to ask him for his forgiveness shall we invite all of you to join us in a very important task you know i've been father joseph for seven years and i have never done a full clearing call of all marian helpers asking them to unite as one for one specific cause of such extreme importance as i am right now right now are very important days that we need prayer and penance shall we marian fathers are going to be spending these three days fasting making sacrifices doing prayers and penance and we ask you to join us now you might not be able to fully fast due to medical reasons or other situations and that's just fine but we can all find a way to do a little something maybe it's just giving up our a tv program on on one of these nights or maybe a second helping at the dinner table or a dessert but we can all find a little sacrifice to offer to god to ask for his forgiveness for us as a people our nation and our world so we invite you to join us the next three days between wednesday and friday december 9th 10th and 11th as we lead you in this prayer starting at 3 o'clock eastern time each day we will begin with the divine mercy chaplet and prayers as i said for our country and asking for the forgiveness of our sins especially sins against human life follow that in the four o'clock hour will be some more prayer and meditation and then at five o'clock we will lead you in the rosary and at 5 30 we will lead you in evening prayer called vespers and this all will be completed with benediction so the very fact that you are watching this
