Death Stranding - Part 1 | Norman Reedus And His Amazing Fetus

think again papa morning hey ladies and welcome to death stranding the game is finally here it's finally out and I'm so excited I've been really hype for this game ever since they first showed it off because not only am i a big fan of kojima stuff over the years Metal Gear Solid's one of my favorite franchises ever but the sort of style and artistic design and sound design for this for this game and the trailers they've shown so far have just been phenomenal the stuff that they've shown off just has really piqued my interest and I love this sort of high concept type of storytelling and I'm just really excited to see what it is I'm trying to get to hype for it because from the gameplay we've seen I don't know what it is everyone's been like what what the hell is des trending what do you do in the game so we're gonna find out here today first of all I want to say thanks to Sony for sending me a copy of the game that was really nice of them to do and I feel really lucky and honored that I get the game early and I get to played you guys will see this much later but I am playing this like a week before it comes out so that has me really really hyped alright enough farting around let's get into its game Sports auto-saving okay let's play our normal because why not the difficulty can be changed at any time the absence money okay then no big deal so from what I understand the game is about the world got destroyed and you're trying to connect it again as Norman Reedus and if anybody out there in the world was going to connect us again I would want it to be Norman Reedus I think that he is the glue that's going to hold humanity together in the future screen brightness yeah I change that already that looks good I've subtitles on yes statistical analysis has indicated that dooms abilities vary according to the sufferers date of birth in order to establish your own ability levels please enter your birthday weird okay well yes the 7th of February is this your birthday okay higher levels of Doom's abilities have been observed in those born under constellations such as cancer pisces Cetus Delphinus and gigas I don't think I'm any of those what about the people born under Jack SEPTA's how do I get okay Kojima Productions is that the games way of saying that I was born on a bad birthday and have less abilities than everybody else thanks game it's the Luden's I have the statue in my house it's really cool finally we're going to figure out what that stranding is all about the rope along with the stick are two of mankind's oldest tools the stick to keep the bad way and the rope used to bring the good towards us there they were our first friends and our own invention wherever there are people there were the rope and the stick so we can either gave rise to life as we know it and then came the next explosion yes I'm also kind of worried about this series because all the songs Kojima loves his copyrighted music which of course it works beautifully for the game but for the sake of YouTube it's kind of hard my god there is no way that that's in this game engine really I mean it's obviously not in-game but upside down rainbow okay okay made on the same engine as horizon zero dawn the decima engine it's made by Guerrilla Games in the Netherlands I carry a hundred and twenty kilos I'm an animal so those things with the hands are called BTS for a short for beached things I don't really know what the area but my running theory is that they're dead people I've been really into this game by the way I feel like theorizing and everything constantly you know me I love my theorizing and my Easter eggs and my my mystery and all that kind of stuff this is my type of storytelling but um my my thing is that I don't know what caused the apocalypse happen the bang the explosion that destroyed everything but I think that all of the beach things that are coming after you are the people who died from that okay careful a lot of people have been worried about the game because they think that this is all it is is just running around and getting to locations and I think it is but I'm willing to let that slide if it's just a nice experience I don't think every game needs to be like high action and stuff like that if it has a cool story and it's a nice experience and I'm still enjoying it for what it is then I don't think it matters ok ok get your balance there you go how to boy can they get across this cross the fjord but keep them balanced in a river when you Center your balance while in a river you'll be able to resist the flow of water you send your balance of both hands you'll be able to hold on for longer got it the YouTuber in me also wants to remove the music for copyright reasons but at the same time it's it's part of the experience it's part of the game if it gets claimed then who cares I'd rather show the game for what it is then try and fight that as long as it doesn't get blocked in certain the game is to try not to kill too many people because you're trying to build the world and you're trying to bring people together anymore so I think if you kill someone you have to bring them to an incinerator or that can happen I don't know how much it can happen or if it happens in real time or if it's a scripted thing but the idea of it is really cool it puts a lot of emphasis on not killing matter in the smoke wouldn't reach the city it will be easy carrying a body up there that makes more sense if you if you burn somebody it spreads chiral matter into the air and that will attract more BTS so you you can't burn them here but it's a world where you can tap into the afterlife with a baby so couldn't you build something that just disperses it into the ground or something oh that's cool shut whatever it's a video game about inky black death monsters I don't think logic really applies wait so do I actually have a time limit I know I just left okay oh god it's miles wait give me a car players so as I'm playing I can leave so for other players I can assist other players what I can't really do it now because the game isn't released so I don't know if that aspect of the game will really come into play other than other reviewers who have the game but you can leave helpful messages you can leave items you can leave ladders the ladders that I put down can be accessible by other players it's pretty neat and it aids in the whole like rebuilding the world aspect of the game also I realized it's easier to push forward and turn them at the camera than it is to turn with the characters and they turn with the character he falls over ooh music wow this is nice we're going on a journey mom just you and me together nobody to disturb us this is what I think will be very divisive about the game is that a lot of people won't want to do this just like run from direction to direction and walk all the way to the incinerator wait where is the incinerator okay okay sprint terrain scanner president Islands range Karen the terrain scanner surveys the area detecting and marking danger surfaces each point is marking the following icons blue yellow red indicating an increased level of risk the terrain scanner can help find the safest route very interesting climb sammy-boy climb come on mom you know when I said we should all take a vacation together again I didn't far I didn't do a lot of game I did a lot of sitting around and listening to characters talk but the story is cool I like it a lot so far I think that the mystery to it even starting it now a lot of the stuff that was in this I had seen already and heard a lot of it was in trailers and stuff I didn't realize that a good chunk of what they've shown so far is basically just from the first two hours of the game and apparently the games like 30 hours long so we'll see what happens I might adjust the length of the episodes cuz I did this for when we did God of War as well that I I did two hour-long episodes and ended up being 10 episodes long and I felt like that that was good it felt like we were making good progress and we really got into it so I might do that for this do 2 to 3 hour episodes just so we're we're in it there's gonna be a lot of walking around and when I started off I might show a lot of that initially and then just start cutting it back as I see fit because a lot of the walking around might end up just getting repetitive and similar but I leave it up to you guys what you guys want to see with the episodes if you want to see absolutely everything or if you would rather just trim some of they really excessive stuff I'll keep in most of it but see how we go cuz I do when I play all of the game I like it a lot so far and it's been one of my most anticipated
