ugh *rustling* euof *inhales* *sigh* *squeak* *press* *exertion* Me getting fat What a ridiculous... what a ridiculous comment. Obviously sometimes the camera's at a funny angle, isn't it? Today is a pretty special occasion because I'm catching up with my good friend Natsuki who we haven't seen in a quite a while. For new viewers of the channel Natsuki is probably the craziest person in all of Japan. The last time we saw him was on a trip to Sapporo we had last year. Aaaaand the last time I saw him was in January, when we were filming scenes for an upcoming documentary that we've made about his life, which is out later this month. But the main reason we're off to Tokyo this time is to film the third in our food challenge series where Natsuki and I go head-to-head and see who can eat the most food without dying, and this time we're doing the monster gyoza challenge, where we're served up a portion of gyoza big enough to give even Godzilla a run for his fucking money. Given that it's Natsuki's biannual day off I've let him choose the venue for this evening. He wants to go to the famous Kill Bill restaurant, the place that inspired the setting where Uma Thurman kills lots of people in a room for 20 minutes. The district in Tokyo where we're staying is called Roppongi, which is one of Tokyo's nightlife hotspots, and we've actually been invited to review a brand new hotel that's just opened up there. The Candeo hotel let Natsuki and I stay at a discounted rate in return for a mini review in this video. So a big thank you to them for letting us stay and for filming wherever we want in the hotel. So here's another day-in-my-life, behind-the-scenes style video and what promises to be a relatively action-packed and undoubtedly maniacal day. *swoosh* *swoosh* *swoosh*
*bottle breaking sound* *swoosh* Hi Chris Hello Natsuki Good see you You've gotten a little chubby? *trumpet noise* Thank you Natsuki So it's been two months since we last, Chris: Last saw each other two months to quite a while this time
Natsuki: this year first time first time. Yeah, happy new year bit too late for that How do you feel about doing the monster gyoza challenge today? No no no problem. No. Go there. It's small This one isn't this one isn't at all no home no no no gyoza gyoza such an arrogant, arrogant man Master think when you see it it might wipe that smile off your face anyway time to check in check in time. Let's go So we're five minutes in and I've just deployed my first coffee Look at that view, that is magnificent So it's a fairly decent standard Tokyo room size as you can see they've injected a sense of Luxury into it through the modern kind of Japanese interior design, the gold colour palette and the swanky glass table and the wonderful sofa by the window when we walked in the There was like a golden chandelier where it looked like golden bars were literally just hanging down from the ceiling But I am a little bit on edge at the moment given We've got this monster cows a challenge coming up in a few hours And I'm scared because not only does the ghost look just truly obscene in size and scale But there's a rule that if you have if you're sick while eating we go sir. Not only do you have to pay? $300 but you also have to clear up the sick yourself and the fact that that's in the rules in the first place should tell You that people actually are sick whilst eating with bloody Gotha But that's why I'm on edge drinking some coffee and doing some window meditation before we dive into the challenge from hell So we're on our way to do the monster go to challenge it's the third in our food challenge series after wanker Sauber and Monster Arman and now at once secured this one's a bit unoriginal a lot of people have done the monster gyoza one We like I think with a lot of people ever to do the monster goes a challenge But the bank of silver noodles and the the ROM and they were quite original So now we can we can let ourselves off. I think this time The absolute worst food challenge I've ever undertaken I'm sleeping horrific So we just finished the gyoza monster jaws and challenge and Natsuki had to dash the toilet Because he wasn't looking so good by the end of it, but I feel equally unpleasantly just just awful Yeah, I don't know if I can recommend the monster gyoza challenge because it wasn't particularly fun because after about five minutes the flavor Of the gyoza just gets too Overwhelming it's very repetitive in flavor. It's not like when you're eating ramen. You've got lots of diversity and flavors I just hope masky hair is up because walking around is helping me forget. How awful I feel right now? How do you feel Please wait you sick. I'm sick really. Yeah, really really you actually sick Back to the hotel hi I Know it's gonna sound a bit stupid in fact. It definitely is that is one of the most Tokyo looking backgrounds I've ever had from her from a hotel window in Tokyo to qualify for the Tokyo background you need like lots of blocky looking buildings with skyscrapers in the distance and You can just about see Tokyo Tower I'm around the corner there it almost feels like a fake backdrop designed to make it look very Toky-llike. Poor old Natsuki I think the giant Gyoza took its tarp on his body last time I saw him He was running down the corridor to the spark watching his stomach and muttering a variety of swear words Let's go and check that he's still in one piece that he's actually alive And uh, I don't I don't think Brad Wow Would you want to do often? Finished enjoying your spa. It's famous spot and In Roppongi you gonna kill bit when I killed everybody everybody knows killed dad dad down Jojo, but I'm Not angry Because Gilda goes there girls are girls that kill me girls that kill you So NASA's just had his spawn and a nice bit relaxation after eating the world's biggest Yasser. How do you feel? Natural body aromatics and now we're gonna put now ski in a video where he just drinks those of sockets from my friend Emma's new channel called Tokyo creative play Part of Matt's Keys plan to branch out and not just be and not just be on abroad in Japan But be everywhere Netsky wants to become a brand yeah, mainly pro I've become famous not yet. My not. Yeah, yeah one day Hi everyone welcome to Tokyo creative play I'm your host Emma and today, I'm here with that ski You might have seen before on the abroad in Japan Channel yeah, my name is not ski. No No, no my name mister netsky Kill Bill Today is snack Mickey yeah, Oh Mickey. No kidding not killing today How was it doing the video with Nancy for the first time oh, it's also he's a great person I did not expect anything He said ever it was great. There is a eerie degree of randomness that is often absent from conversations in Japan If you could summarize the experience in one word what that won't be It's not really a word for it just intense mental mental mental is a good one. Did you drink too much? Yes? Not yet not yet--bow second off the balls Could he sue like a socket he looks okay, I'm like it's okay, you're like you like What's called a hot despair oh? Yeah Heat like hot spicy Raisin sake taste testing with Emma. She had a good farm. Did you yeah and our swell? Jump They're dead, they're gelatin. I'll kill Phil iqb Dare dare jam Natsuki has bought some items to get into the spirit of Kill Bill I'll kill customer *indescribable wheezing* don't say that ha ha ha ha he shang If this tax is sorry This is terrible Magic If you ever want to switch for being a beauty salon owner to magician and the medicine I think there's potential Venus and the Japanese teacher Ohio You disapprove fit behavior for a restaurant Okay, so this is the restaurant that inspired placing Kill Bill with the final showdown and the crazy 88 did you kill bill? Beerinator something more Carrasco, did you kill it not yet tonight? Their pizzas stabbing, that's to kill me we should have said our Nanny attend Inara So nasty had a great time in Tokyo I'm great time I had a good time very exiting and what time do you have to fly back to North Japan air? Cabin in the morning 7 a.m.. I think but I'm a wake up's maybe five Good luck goodness. Thank you. See you next year next time Good night Such big staring out the view the last hour the night view Over Tokyo's funny the hotel on the website the hotel was like we've got nice beds We've got a nice spa got a nice breakfast, but no didn't even really mention the view. That's where it's at That's the selling point if you're a nice hotel in Tokyo with a view like there put that view everywhere and the people will come Fear of a strange day as he'd expect for a David Natsuki the monster gazer challenge wasn't particularly fun Given that I felt so awful afterwards and that's key was that Suki was even sick Advise doing the challenge even if you're someone who likes to eat loss of field. It's just just wasn't fun the Kill Bill restaurant the reason I Avoided it all these years was I knew it would be a bit the tourist trap And it was like you can get much better food at a much better price pretty much everywhere in Tokyo But if it's your first time in Tokyo you'll be none the wiser And if you're a big fan of Kill Bill, then I guess is unavoidable. That's the question you have to ask yourself Do you like Kill Bill a lot if the answers yes, then you should go and that's all there is to it But for me the real highlight was just going to hang out with NAT ski again It's been too long so that was that was my favorite bit But I hope you learned something along the way following us around to Tokyo for the day I hope there was some kind of educational benefit Probably wasn't other than don't don't eat monster, Java, but I mean that's fairly standard stuff. Anyway. Isn't it anyway? Thanks for watching guys. I'll see you next time Nope, yeah, that's that's it *relief sigh* Do you know lost in translation? Lost in transla-? Uhh, I don't know Very famous movie
