to kill osiris right here uh what we're trying to do is see if any of the key items drop that we still need so merchants could sell them uh enemies can drop them and then as a safeguard if by the end of the stream we don't have all the key items i will drop the key items to myself and we'll complete the game because we're trying to get into archives right now i haven't quite made it to princes yet want the the commentary to be double the volume of the average game sound right at the most right and then there are some sounds on this that are really loud but only once in a while so like obviously going in circles and that was part of the last episode of this did somebody say oh the ring i i feel like we're going to forget what that is like the name is not going to sound familiar once it comes out then people won't buy it um so what we're hoping is like when we go into the archives we find embers in there for the thrones because i believe we have two embers for the thrones we need two more um the bosses that actually drop them don't have to because the key items are randomized for people that don't know what that means everything is going well for you let's see what we find over here have i been grinding fall guys no i haven't really been playing games on my computer man um i played ps4 with my friends a little bit uh just like when they're over um i tried practicing some runs on on like the pyromancy hit list and the speed runs for a little bit but then gave up just because it wasn't really it didn't really mean anything like if i'm gonna do that i might as well do it on stream and i guess i learn better on streaming faster too i think like with that pressure so gotta get better at just being okay with practicing stuff or or you know you may be dedicating a whole stream to stuff that's not as interesting so that the next few can be very good right so one thing i feel bad about those i put like a little bit too much on the plate with ds2 and then the speed running with this trying to get the record on it and also trying to get the the pyromancy run and just going over the place and really and i did actually was so great i spent a huge how could google crosby would have been good to see you back my friend always here if you need anything i was gonna say i spent a huge deal of time writing the notes for it and actually making some files to not just you know i'm not gonna just leave it so what we will do ds2 i just don't really know if it's a good idea to force it or feel like there's pressure on a certain date because i want to be able to merch so and i also own other people's stuff from designed by humans it's a lot better on your side glad to see you back d see i found a new company to work with for that we're just negotiating a deal right now uh they got to send me some samples and then hopefully we can have a higher quality fabric and just like a decent print that doesn't fade as much glad you are back because i'm not really worried about the price of yourself or sorry i'm not really i'm not worried about the profit margin i'm worried about like you actually having something that's that's going to last a while because you streaming i was um fairly younger and i still had like a lot of issues that i never never dealt with so um like i said those manifest in just like me needing some time or you know i guess like might change my mood a little bit but at the same time i need to manage those things better in terms of planning ahead for breaks so i think that was a big lesson to go forward with where um i can do the just you know cool to see your family members taking on that role because it's a lot of responsibility to to do that especially if someone's older um so yeah they were doing that too that's that's usually would buy even even like myself you know i played one of the other ones once and i didn't like it that much so it kind of depends like on the gameplay i have to watch more an mc hammer that's hear that man i think the one thing is like it's different for a lot of people so it's hard to be like hey like i did this and this helped me um for me i usually will uh like i originally i didn't do anything i just like was making it worse but then um i mean as like i guess i grew up like in the last handful years maybe i would try to just specifically force myself to do things even if i didn't like them even if it was painful just because i knew that i liked them before i didn't like them anymore if that makes sense it was kind of weird i don't know if that's even like some people might not even be able to bring themselves to do that luckily i was able to because i've just gone through similar patterns um and then eventually i guess like you might not have fun with it there was a lot of times where like music for example try to play it could not enjoy anything about it at all didn't want to even be involved until literally like just days ago that's it and um so i quit that for a lot a long time or a fair fair bit of time uh even when i was doing it it wasn't fun but yeah i guess you just gotta really try your best but i think that taking time to do some different things than you they normally would that you still enjoy um and some new stuff that you haven't done before is probably important you want to try to do some new things too because you might find something that for some reason makes you you know have a decent time and you didn't really think it would or maybe you learned something from it and it's helpful so i don't know and then if i mean like if you can't get to that point then obviously you'd have to go to professional and then i mean you should probably still should either way but to each his own uh joe what's up how's it going all right we're gonna go little bit of it because there's some sort of embargo for a certain progression point in the game so if if not on the day before the day of release we will be playing mortal shell because i already have the game we're just waiting to see when they make it available like legally to play um but i almost i'm sure i can make a video recording and or stream the first like little bit of it what are the next three new games i have an upcoming command if you want to use that also one thing to mention with the schedule 2 that will change uh so we're going to be doing our streams earlier i want to try uh a earlier start earlier to kind of readjust properly for the first week and actually do this right i'm not going to push for eight hours a day every single day with no days off or anything we're gonna do um two strict days off at least maybe i'll change that and take one back on again if i feel like it and then we're gonna actually try to make the hours um still decent but not as much and we're gonna try to increase them as i feel is proper instead of just forcing myself to do something for an arbitrary reason right so because i feel like i need to for whatever so if if i get to um you know have a new another youtube video in a while it would be like x amount of times i did a video and then people would stop caring about that and then i would just be like a failure and all that so uh i really just wanted to have uh you know at least something on there like this randomizer but then i ended up not even doing part two so that was why we had to come back with this right away because it was fun but i want to see how it finishes and if we can do it with no key items at all unlock that's amazing that's the first time i would have ever done that for any kind of item randomizer and that by itself is already you know something to be hyped about because you have to investigate a lot of the game to find everything uh captain russia thank you so much for the gifted appreciate it uh in the ds2 run is it's still in the works uh you're wondering if there is any pressure from that well the pressure from that definitely added to it because like when i wasn't streaming then i was thinking about that uh i was reviewing stuff for it um sometimes making notes and i don't mean that that didn't take up all my time that's definitely not the truth it's mainly just like when i was going to be able to put time into thinking of other things for the channel it was that instead of how to improve the channel going in the future and grow up more rather than just like what the next game or run would be and choosing a run for the channel is not really as big of a deal as other things sometimes so and also trying to prioritize doing like the hardest thing with a lot of other things on the side at the same time isn't always necessary it's really just something that i devised because i thought that it was tough enough where there's no way there could be any kind of shortage and it would be the absolute best gameplay but at the same time probably would be worse gameplay because i wouldn't be as into it right so i think if i take it slow and i just chip away at it it'll probably end up being better i still have all the files for it we're gonna be playing ds2 just modded anyways just casually so i mean i don't know if we'll do that before or after but we will definitely play ds2 and if that run doesn't happen soon then maybe maybe something even better will happen because there are there are other games coming out too i don't know we'll see i think that i could get it done before anything major but then again like there are some games that come up that i didn't even hear about like fall guys never heard about that saw it wanted to play it um you know uh hollow knight one finally decided you know what who cares if i've seen the game before let's just play it like because that's like probably one of the most requested things and i i like hollow knight i mean it's cool so why not hype up the second one um and then cuphead i just really wanted to replay and the dlc is coming out so i don't know if that's going to be right when it comes out or we'll just play it before that ghost of tsushima was really good i'm i'm very impressed by the uh the photo taking in there have you seen that catalyst has beaten any percent world record on ds1 10 times six months in the last week really welcome back well catalyst has played ds1 speedruns like since the very first time i've ever seen his stream and i've only seen him do that ever so i mean i wonder because like when i was watching him before i wonder how much slower he was behind the record because i think he was in the top five at the time or maybe excuse me maybe like the top three or something so i don't know how how much better he got in that time but that's impressive though because even getting the record once in a in a game that's been ran that long against those people that's that's crazy from what i remember he's fairly newer to speed running compared to like kamul and uh elias on that game right uh or maybe like miltrip or somebody else like that he almost got it he got he almost got it under half an hour he'll probably be on ign or something like that though because they always make those once someone beats something under half an hour they usually make those videos for souls right hopefully you get some sort of credibility outside of just the leaderboard ooh thrall hood bastard sword evangelist hat and dark mask all at once four drops really uh froze was hilarious during the sakura attorney with the photo mode of ghosted sushi but yeah i kind of wish i got to watch him played a little bit i've really seen a lot of gameplay but i was kind of staying beaten pretty much everything other than um like a very very small group of bosses and then uh getting the last key item to beat the game so we don't actually have to do all the bosses we just have to get to the end and uh because all of those ashes are scattered you can pick them up off the ground or from an enemy or something so i gotta just scavenge the entire game but we also may just find it when we don't even expect it to like maybe an enemy just falls off a cliff and gives it to us or something some of them i've gotten randomly just that's why you're so strong yeah we've uh we've leveled up but then also some enemies are replacing uh like stronger enemies as weaker ones uh plain thank you for the four months welcome back man should burn those bone shards you have next time first got cable that was the first thing i ever saw on tv um like like actual cable not just like a few channels or whatever but like legit cable i remember pokemon cartoon that was like early 2000s and then um i remember i think i got the i think i rented one of the games like one of the second gen games uh when i was like eight years old or something or set it was i was like seven or eight and i couldn't actually figure out how to play the game because i didn't really like i didn't like i didn't have um at that point like friends necessarily um i know that probably sounds weird like i went to school with people but i didn't have like personal friends because i never was like uh really uh socialize with children uh when i because there was not really a lot of kids in my family to like or people that we knew so i was around adults most the time and uh i think because of that like i didn't really get like with games and stuff like that like there wasn't that whole like play games with your friends like you know compare like what you uh you know how far you've gotten and stuff until like a little later and then eventually i got some of the pokemon games uh like the first gen ones like way way later i think i was in grade uh four and then i think at the end of grade four i got the third gen games and that's that's when i started playing them a lot more and third jam was my favorite oh nice so yeah i i would have been all over pokemon for sure just i remember there's a little bit of a delay because uh so the world might be mended i i got in the i got the game boy a little later and then i remember like by the time everyone was playing the the newer ones i was playing the older ones and i've kind of caught back up around the third gen um and then after that i don't really i feel like they just got random like they didn't really make as much sense so uh raptor thank you for the 48 months welcome back through jen's best gen i think that second gen constructionally um is really good too it's just it doesn't have the like they didn't have the technology to add as many features into like that cartridge it was too small obviously um but i think the so many moves had physical or special traits rather than type dictating it i.e gen 3 or before all dark type moves uh are special and all rock we're physical regardless um yeah that's true that's true there was there was a lot of issues with uh like the types of things in gen 1 and how certain things were calculated i remember that um but then again i think i only realized that after because like i item but i'm basically trying to find a fogate that goes to the outside of firelink so i can go up the tower except a key for it and there is there is a foggate like that somewhere in this but it's been uh over a month since i've done this so i need to figure out where that is because part of the challenge in the beginning was memorizing every single connection to where every foggy goes based off the seed that it's randomized on and then uh reversing that in your head and going back through them backtracking but because it's not just one gate goes to a gate it's one gate is two gates on either side that go to two other places that are randomized and then every multi-gate that goes through two archways is four gates like it just makes it really complicated so let's remember all that so next time we're going to write it down we're going to make a list so the world might be mend and we'll make a a little legend for the key items too we'll play like a professional randomizer person and everything they raised i think six six times the amount of money they needed for it or maybe eight no eight times the amount of money they needed for it and then it didn't really look like uh you know eight times the amount of money they needed for it kind of game versus what they originally showed so like for me it just didn't seem exciting i thought it was going to turn into like some crazy thing where they'd have like all these cool voice actors and like the they'd be able to up the budget on animations and effects and like all everything would just be like way tighter and better but it didn't really seem like a change if you watch um their updates and at one point the game actually like they just disappeared from the the updates on making it and then they came back and like it looked like they had actually like gone backwards and like they were like even earlier on in making it again so i don't know maybe there's a lot of reasons i just don't understand for that but um uh to me it looks like the game they were gonna make without the extra money in the first place so uh what game is this bracken fern that i'm talking about i was talking about blasphemous the actual game itself too like in terms of the gameplay uh yeah i just i guess um watching it was enough for me like i didn't really have to get into it to you know feel like i was part of it or anything like i getting into like a whole series and finishing it's brand new no relation to anything that's a fan that i'm a fan of or whatever bojack horseman what's your netflix show still haven't seen that i'm trying to think of before i mean like honestly stranger things are still like the best thing i think i've seen in a long time for shows i mean that would be my top still but most people have seen that it's not really that surprising i finished um brett umbrella academy in two days what is that supposed to be and i'm not asking that because i've heard of it before i just i don't know much about it so uh finished umbrella academy the boys i watched that it i mean it's all right definitely decent acting good budget just like i don't know i guess the concept wasn't as cool to me after a while uh stranger things season three was disappointing you didn't like season three uh trying to think of where else there's a fog gate that is at the bottom of here too i should remember the last time we used this one did i watch breaking bad originally i watched the first season and then i think some of the second season it's the best area you really like that show i i did actually watch like four or five episodes of that though i think right didn't i say i was on like the fourth episode when i quit it so i tried i really tried to give it a chance oh this just goes back into here again damn it right where we were um hmm damn i might have to backtrack and look for uh which fog gates go to where okay let me check out the like the bonfire do i remember about stranger things oh it's a really good show overall like good acting um the concept was cool i like the old school vibes uh very nice um filming as well like cinematography and just uh atmosphere just well well put together it definitely was believable for what i was trying to do it achieved exactly what i feel like they were trying to do with it maybe more so it's all you can really do when you're trying to make creative things right or entertain people with something that's just made up umbrella academy's comic about former superhero kids growing up to be broken adults written by the singer of chemical romance my chemical romance former superhero kids grown up to be broken adults okay that's interesting i thought it was something to do with resident evil at first i actually did i was like wait what then i saw saying that it's not working so there really is no way to figure out what the problem with it is but the game still can get sound if i plug it back in when it's already open although that last time didn't work so i'm hoping that when i launch it now because i'm still using the sound card for the mic it's still going through it probably works yeah there we go so i'm going to have to figure out why that's launching that way or like bypassing the audio and turning it off or whatever um at least if we can finish without it crashing again too many times i think we're good all right so let's see music i i think for a while like i felt the pressure of doing things with music for the appeal rather than actually like wanting to do the things in music um when it comes to like the the souls related music stuff i looked into it i i made a like an original adaptation of cleric beast and then i did like a little bit of a deer adaptation as well it wasn't like fully final and mixed and had drums and bass and all the other it had just the guitar but like i just wasn't happy with it and it's because i was trying to make it like in that categorization of just like um like all the other people do like just their their own takes on the ds3 music in like a metal format but that format makes it very limited like a lot of those sound pretty similar even though they're really good and i wanted to do it completely differently and to do that i'm gonna have to probably write a lot more music and actually play music for a lot longer to like that to to have the creativity to make it different than all those other ones but um i mean that i tried my my own little um way of doing the final fantasy one and that was okay so i mean like something like that would be an example where i kind of just figure out my own way of doing it and add some my own stuff to whatever and that's it that was very simple though in comparison so to pick something from this would be a bit harder it's mainly like if i'm not satisfied with it like i just it actually is more painful for me to actually show somebody or do it than to never do it at all so there's a lot of things i just don't do because it's just like i want it to be done the right way i guess um and because once i put that out it instantly puts me in a categorization in competition with those people because um uh the audience that's already going to be watching it is shared so it's like um then i have to kind of like i don't know i can reconsider do i want to take that path like there's a lot of choices to make in ways you got to do things you can't change your mind too often you got to like kind of just stick with certain things um and what i'm trying to do right now is find out how i can still keep you know things smart but also effective and fun too yeah for everybody so yeah music is just like something that i will i'll i'll update you on it as we go but i can't really give you any kind of updates on it at all right back to eight hours a day uh minimum by the second or maybe like halfway through the second week depending on how i feel um it's just a matter of not trying to do too much too soon with this because it literally will make my brain just explode like having to think of all the expectations and everything i don't know um but at the same time there will be a lot of cool stuff coming up there are so many things that have already been done that i've completed before that have yet to been released that just need some final touches whether it's some editing or uh whatever the case one one bigger video for that's original for for diaz i was really excited about um that's been sitting there for like the entire year pretty much like since the beginning i just there's no way it could be finished because the person i was working with had literally no time and now they are taking a month or two break themselves because of the same thing so because they were working themselves to the point of not really having the passion for their their pursuit anymore so i'm trying to find a new editor now and hopefully we can make it happen with a new one but if not the other one will be back after his break and not employed by the youtuber that he was before so can kind of hire him on i guess like more often and that will mean at least one solid like original video that has nothing to do with the work together castlemind um there is instructions that sin laura kane wrote right there that's in a link so you can thank him for that if it helps you um he he helped me set this up uh we had to basically um we had to take certain folders from the archives of the individual mods um make specialized folders in the regular game directory and then set the priority of the ini file for mod engine to each mod each time we were managing it and then accordingly for the next one as well so you have to change it well actually no it's only for two of them it's only for um fog randomizer and enemy and then item i think is fine you do have to initially you have to do it for all three sorry i was thinking of today because i only did two you have to kind of like set up the ini file to know which one is specified that you're trying to install properly and then once you've done that for each of them uh it should work but if you just put all three of them in the game and try to run them like you normally would uh it won't work so that's not gonna make any sense probably listening to what i'm saying there so like in there it's going to show you how to do that checked archives by the three gold knights i did but i didn't kill them though so there is a chance i could get an item from them that's the thing though like for key items would they even drop from an enemy that drops regular items or is it only going to drop from an auto drop where like the enemy has an item guaranteed right uh loras thank you for the two months welcome back have i seen the the gun mod i saw lobos doing that uh basically that's just like a little extra other than the emotes and um the uh the badges and the link permissions likes immunity to all the slow mode stuff and regardless of whatever it is so all those features and then you get the the discord because i i didn't really have any good sub perks that i could think of and i didn't have a discord before i um was partnered so i just made it for that and then uh i guess if there's any kind of um special events that are for um like sub only in the future they'll probably be updated in there and be notified in there but i don't do that that often i try to make it pretty inclusive for everybody if i would do um something that has multiplayer like it wouldn't be just subs all the time obscures where while far away so if i wear that they will not this this final fight like a true champion no rings except for calamity ring no armor and a weapon that is not good or maybe okay but not the greatest trying to think what's the best choice then out the pickaxe as well wait 154 damage versus 99. that's a c in strength i feel like the pickaxe would actually do decent damage but i will i will use it you have to buy more titanite valor heart gladiator mode i haven't actually used valor heart in this game before i kind of want to do a run with it though that'd be cool like just a grave tender setup or something maybe if we play uh cinders mod again or this ah squeaky what's up how's it going like do we buy the titanite for 800 or do we buy one titanite for 400 you know what i'm so lazy i'm just gonna pay twice the amount for them because we don't even need to level anyways so let's and then buy 70. uh zafix what's up all right we're gonna go get that pickaxe popping it's minecraft time oh we beat the game too fast now i gotta play minecraft so not only just any pickaxe but a pickaxe that is not fully upgraded to add to it and then we're probably gonna get a boss that is actually hard and i'm gonna be crying so prepare for that uh do we have a weird face on this character it kind of did uh loincloth yes this is this has to be the outfit for the end this is this is the final form you can randomize cinders mod too really wait how would you do that randomizing cinders mod uh loki it would be cool to watch you play minecraft at some point the thing is minecraft for me is just not my my type of game right i'm more into games that are um you know you like you perform them rather than like build stuff and chill and relax i guess i'm not i'm not into relaxing games relaxing to me is not not doing anything so or just not really like stimulating your brain much but um like when i'm playing games i like to actually like be challenged a little bit at least um and i'm not saying minecraft can't be challenging but it's also still you got to be creative and build stuff too so is this going to be like that suggestion with that mode i'm assuming it's more just playing the game i always thought that any mod for minecraft would only be enjoyed by people that like that why play cyberpunk cyberpunk is actually a maybe because um there's some features in it that look really cool that i want to check out it looks like it's gonna be a pretty big game but i don't know though i'm not 100 yet i'm leaning more towards it though after seeing more on it um and if it comes down to it i could always try it and then if it doesn't work out maybe we'll be like this is our review of it it was whatever [Music] um so i think there's there's a chance i'll try cyberpunk yeah uh have i tried ghost to sushima i haven't played that i wasn't interested in that game uh after just seeing the the gameplay of it rather than just like the initial trailer uh it kind of reminded me of like assassin's creed which i guess i've just i've already you know i've done that watched cyberpunk's night wire episodes yesterday and it looked really damn good there was some sort of thing in it that i saw i don't know if you noticed it as well ghost but you can like go back in a an investigation and see the cult like you can actually like rewind gameplay to see uh people that you didn't notice that were like behind you or like in a murder like a situation where you're trying to find out who was like murdered by who or whatever and um like the rewind is so you can like investigate or something i thought that was really interesting and it was like not just um you know you're replaying like an actual recording it's like you're literally just in like free cam like going through the game in real time as it was being replayed that you just played it but from all these different perspectives right so yeah that's that's cool it's a lot better than assassin's creed i to me it probably would be still better just because the theme just um yeah it just seemed like i guess your regular aaa adventure game with a samurai skin on it but i thought it was going to be like a really hardcore like um um realistic take on on samurais and like historically accurate and more about the action than actually just like free roaming and stuff i thought it was gonna be like a story where you just go through like a linear progression and it's really about the combat if that was the case it was more of like a like a blockbuster aaa like you know big story game that had really good like uh fine tuning to it really good mechanics really good gameplay decent challenge then sure it's just the whole like go here do this um where it's more of a sandbox rather than um an intrica an intricately connected world that has meaning to it oh it's another wolf god damn it alright well we'll see we get phase two calamity ring is it on there we go leveling up the pickaxe was a bad idea guys we have to switch to the whip we're too strong i don't know where the whip is i can't see i haven't been hit yet still oh god wait there it is actually we'll do spikes for the bleed because i think this bleeds everybody just had like a a whip hit you so hard in the head you just get staggered ooh one shot with the frostbite gg man well played stay frosty yeah there you go stay frosty um what else could we use because i feel like the pickaxe did too much damage there i don't know i mean well who knows maybe there's like a face too it's really hard too uh lido's great hammer yes we're using this it's the only way what's my equip load 62 just from this weapon all right here we go big damage let's strengthen so the world might be landed so the world might be made spiritually i'm so happy to see you on i wish you nothing but the best three oh yes i still got it the burrito combo there oh man it's one giant attack for the end here yes wait what okay well we did it that was uh that was enemy item and foggate randomizer at the same time with no uh key items uh in their original places uh without any cheat engine drops or workarounds so that's that's pretty cool no dog killed apparently a lot of the enemies were sage and were that wolf but to be fair man like all the other stuff that happened in between was actually more exciting than some of the boss fights in my opinion so i hope you guys enjoyed it um i know that yeah the ending was a little anti-climate we could we could always uh we can always just enjoy the fact that we uh we have supreme fashion we found the way to be right here we've made the the most attractive character of all time so people gave me a hard time saying i made ugly characters i figured out a way to do it sent me a quick trailer you put together on souls like map you're making on minecraft didn't reveal too much but it shows some basic things okay i'm definitely down to check it out though i want to see uh like how uh you made everything there's someone saying they made firelink out of lego before so i'm trying to imagine it like that where it's just a bunch of blocks but like this something like that hurt ourselves on this run no i literally can't even escape firelink i have to go to another area wow rtsr i need to make things right for what i did to the fire keeper now it's the only way out of this so the world might be mend today we stand on this rock well this guy stands on this rock and you watch him standing on the rock the reason that we're here is because we killed the fire keeper and we must atone for our sins so i bid you good day it was good and now i'll be come officially a full-time minecraft streamer so that's the last souls run you'll ever see in your life that was the surprise of me coming back
