hope that you're having a good day already and uh that you're watching from all different places in fact i'd love to hear where you're watching from so if you're able to put it into the comment um comment uh section love to hear where you're watching from and we pray that um all of you no matter what nation that you are living in that you will see the glory of god uh greatly poured out um in your regions in these coming days it is going to be a very very uh interesting season that we're coming into as you know we're getting uh close now to rosh hashanah um september 6th to 8th that's coming early this year and we've been seeking the lord as to prophetic insights that will help us position ourselves for this new year and of course we're in a in a whole new decade and a new era as morning as i was uh praying i actually got uh awakened by the lord very early today um it was before four o'clock and i was called into intercession and i could feel the battle we are in a battle and so we live differently in a time of war than in a time of peace we have to be a lot more alert we have to be more vigilant we have to be more prepared when we're in a season of battle and uh that's how it is in the natural too when nations are at war uh they live differently than when they are at peace and so we're going to be taking territory in this next season we're not in a defensive position we're in an offensive position always in the kingdom but we need to understand um some of the dynamics that are happening and what i felt the lord say to me this morning he said get ready for persecution now we should not be afraid of persecution because it is a blessing jesus said you're blessed when you're persecuted for yours is the kingdom and there's great reward in heaven when you're persecuted for the sake of righteousness for the sake of the gospel and so we should be rejoicing when we have opportunity to face persecution for the sake of the gospel so i want you to know that i don't want you to be afraid of persecution i want you to say yay we get to know the blessing that's behind it when we do and it might be good for you to actually read through the book of acts right now because the whole book of acts demonstrates to us through the readings of that chapter by chapter of the power of the holy spirit as the holy spirit was working through believers but that power was released in the midst of extremely challenging times there was a lot of persecution a lot of pushback against their faith and even to the point of being thrown in jail and all kinds of things the religious were coming after them the political uh leaders were coming after believers i mean it was just just running rampant persecution was and yet as the persecution increased so also did the power and that's what you can expect in this hour you can expect an increase of power when persecution um hits you or when you face it when you experience it and it can come in different realms it could be in the spirit realm you feel persecution from the enemy it could come from even people at your workplace coming against your faith it could be even through media that slams the um the faith of of those who believe in jesus christ it could come from family members it can come in all different uh shapes and sizes we know that in afghanistan for example right now there's so much persecution there of believers and uh some of them are losing their life for it you know it's a very serious time we know that in china for years there was great persecution um it is not as intense now as it was but it's still there and there's a strong persecution towards people's faith and in those years when china was experiencing a lot of it believers were put in jail they were tortured there all kinds of things and so i'm not trying to say this to scare you i'm just trying to say that that we might be having opportunity in fact we will be having opportunities um in these coming days to face persecution and to stand for jesus no matter what no matter what we will stand for jesus we will stand for our faith and that's going to look different for every single one of you but the scripture the lord highlighted to me this morning as he was giving me this was out of um revelation uh chapter two um in his letter to um uh smyrna and he says i'm fully aware of the slander that has come against you and i felt the holy spirit say christians are going to experience slander and that we are not to overreact with this we're just to know it's part of what is coming and um then he goes on to say it's coming from a satanic root a satanic root and he said do not yield to fear in the face of the suffering to come but be aware of this the devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison to test your faith well we we know that that's already happening right now and so there are some people that will be um thrown into prison and in the um uh the understanding of the word prison is it is a place of of pressure a place it could even be uh torture and so there's people right now in the world that are facing that and of course everyone's different everyone faces things differently everyone experience things differently so what would be a prison to some might not be a prison to others but definitely the enemy is wanting to come against your faith and then he says for 10 days you will have distress in other words for a particular period of time but remain faithful he says remain faithful to the day you die and i will give you the victor's crown of life and so there's reward for the faithful when you endure suffering when you endure persecution for the sake of the gospel and you know like a decade or so ago you could go out on the streets and preach the gospel and everybody would be happy they would say yes i want prayer but there's something stirring now that's different there's an animosity against many christians that we're seeing today even in places where it used to be free and so we are not to you know we are not to be moved by that in fact what's going to happen is our love level is going to grow because even as jesus loved those who persecuted him we are to love those who persecute us and he says pray for those who persecute you love your enemies you know and this is the teaching of the scripture and as we walk through in faithfulness keeping our faith strong keeping our love strong and keeping hope before us that we will see a victor's crown we will see a reward and we're always to look to the eternal dimension over the natural god gives us a life in the natural to enjoy but we're to to to live for that eternal dimension and so we only endure for a little time maybe some suffering but it will establish us it will perfect us the scripture says it will cause our roots to go down deeper and so we're not to fear it we're actually to embrace it it's not that you want to invite it and say come on you know i'm ready for it but when it comes that you will know how to handle it if you get slandered uh for your faith if you get a pose for your faith in your family or in the workplace or you know that people are coming against you for the convictions you have as a christian that's that's called persecution okay and so there's a reward for those who endure it if you keep the love of god for those who are persecuting you if you love them well and if you keep your faith and just allow that that force is coming against you to strengthen you okay so i just wanted to share some encouragement with you uh don't be surprised i mean we're seeing it on the news right now there's uh so much of it and it's been in intensifying over the last months but um there's more coming and many of you that are watching and no matter what nation you live in it's going to hit everyone on different levels but it will hit but there's a victor's crown waiting and so i just want to encourage you with that okay so i want to um just bless your day i want to speak grace over you in the name of jesus for anything that you would face that would be contrary to the blessings of god and that everything would work together for good for you and remember this life that we're living here is like a vapor it comes and it goes it's just quickly gone but we live with eternity in our perspective and just want to encourage you
