Cocky Players Vs Humble Players | Rocket League Experiment

all we have to worry about is wavy he's like he's like yeah yeah he's a mechanical player the age-old question of rocket league is is it better to be super extra confident or as some would say cocky when playing a rocky league match or is it better to be a little angel out there thank your teammates and be humble stop wondering because i'm gonna figure it out for you i took cocky players and humble players from three different ranks and made them face off to the death forever i figured out who was humble and who was conti by sending out a survey in my discord link is in the description if cocky versus humble to start us off we've got some plateaus here's some comments from our humble team i feel like i'm just not quite consistent enough to be a platt i feel like i belonged in gold or lower but overall i just feel like i need some improvement and here's a comment from the cocky team my teammate hold me back because i can't go up rank because falling down because lack of skill from fun is main priority and so is so the humble team actually started off really strong with an awesome flick it was time to go back to the confident team and ask what was up confident team how are we yeah we do have quite a lot of lag to be honest so the cocky team already had some excuses about lag now it's time to go back to humble team hubble team we got to hold on to this lead this is what it's about your job is to just have the most fun got this fast play nice i wanted to share that positivity with the cocky team i've decided to express a little spread a little positivity so i'm going to tell you a joke why did the rocket league car cross the road i didn't i started why did it to get to the ball since that joke went over so well i wanted to share with the humble team guys i just told them the worst joke of all time why did the rocket league car cross the road to get to the ball once again hilarious now our humble team had actually established a pretty nice lead over our cocky team i was really impressed with them they were doing awesome i could just tell they were encouraging each other and making it really fun that's off gg hey guys gg well played it was a great match sorry the ping was so high but uh i think everyone did great humble players why do you think you all won that match honestly because i think we just had a positive outlook on things and then let anything tear us down i don't know just jokes you know just need to work on those mistakes that's okay dude that's okay i have faith you'll figure it out up next is our diamond ones here's a comment from the humble team well i am in diamond 1 but it's mostly because of my positioning and rotation my mechanics really aren't so good probably more like a gold and here's a comment from our cocky team i worked really hard on entering diamond totally earned it i'm really good all right let's get to it i expect great things from you guys we gotta prove that you belong in diamonds okay and we gotta we got dates no you got this blaming it on the walls use your powers of humility um i'm not sure what that's supposed to be but sure how you guys feeling over here how's it going um not too bad they seem pretty good yeah they seem good you're telling me your raw confidence is not just carrying you through this match i mean not entirely but a little bit i guess so the cocky team wasn't doing too bad they were up one goal and actually felt a little more positive than the last players but the humble team wasn't having it and tied this game up kind of staying back-ish you guys are so nice to each other i love this oh i'm sorry that's my bad you're just out here apologizing for whiffs but i don't think you guys have played rocket league you're supposed to blame your teammate when you win no no no no that's not how it's supposed to work that's a nice shot oh yeah did they just type nice one to the other team i i don't have boots i'm kind of staying back because i'm scared please oh yes guys that was incredible it's 50 euros and one beast oh no no no no no no so the cocky team ended up winning this match making our series 1-1 uh humble team pretty good what do you think went wrong i haven't done anything this much one shot what shot i can't nice breezy do a breezy confident team what do you think went wrong you had a two goal lead i didn't do anything oh yeah i just kind of handed the goals to him for free wavy would you say that you carried this match i didn't i wouldn't say i carried because fenix was where he needed to be when he needed to be he had pretty good he had really good positioning actually i could rely on him a lot and it's just like i was in right places at the right time to do fancy shots man that was a great response see look at how much he's changed
