- Ah, it's gonna be so funny. (Kimmy laughs) - [Uncle Festus] No! No! No! No! No! - What is the- (unintelligible) - What is the shuffle? What are the odds? (uplifting intro music) - Hey, good to see you. Welcome back to Board AF. Today, we are dying of
dysentery on the Oregon trail. - Yeehaw. - I'm a detective. (laughter) - I don't like this. - If you've never played the
Oregon trail board game. Bet. (laughter) - Bet. - It's gonna be rough. We will most likely die along the way. Any one of us could die at any time, but it is a collaborative
effort to get all the way across the three feet of table, which is our representation
of the Oregon trail. There are things like picking
up cards that are calamities, that give you all kinds of illnesses. - The dysentery is (beep) OP. (chuckles) - We have supply cards to solve those, and we have trail cards to
get the hell across the trail. - [Kimmy] Yay. (laughter) - Stop it. - [Kimmy] No - Yeah Shane, knock it off - Start the video. Let's do it. (all talking and laughing) - Oregon Trail! - M'Oregon - M'Oregon (laughter) - Look at us, all period appropriate. From the same time. - I think Sage is Russian. - That's correct. - What is she in a hurry for? (sad trombone plays) - Get out. - We will each start out
with five trail cards. - Nice. - I can't focus with
Shane looking like this. - Doing this. (laughs) - Ne-Yo. - Should we all come up
with fun Oregon trail names? - Sure can, I've been already,
write down your first names. - I want to be Uncle Festus. (guitar riff plays) - You Know, it only makes sense for me to be Skimpy Jiggles Jr. - I would like to be Shane Topp. (players laughing) - No, It's okay, I want to be Damien. When I die when I go for real. (dramatic music plays) - Everybody should have five
trail cards in front of you. Double check, cause I'm not super good
at distributing cards. - You did great. - And you will also
have four supply cards. - Oh no. - Oh no. - I got three of the same card
in a row and it's terrible. - Uh oh. - Wow, that's freaking sucks. - On your turn you can
do one of two things. You can either play a trail
card or you can play a supply to help with a calamity. That is it. If you do not
have a playable trail card, you have to draw a new card. - An additional rule is that every turn, you have to give one really sad fact
about the Donner party. - No. - You can do that - He will do that. (all talking) (laughter) - I gotta be honest. The
1800s have a lot of sad facts. I think there's probably too many. - Yeah they didn't even have
the Internet. (laughter) - We will pull a trail
card to start us off. - [Damien] Nice. - [Kimmy] All right. - [Damien] Oh dear. - [Skimpy] Oh (beep), oh God. - I don't think that we
can do the first calamity. - That's just to set it off. - Cause that's just to set it up. - That's just to start the trail - That sounds complicated. - Are you sure? - Yes! We're going with it. We're doing it. - We play by our own rules here. - I think that our odds are
so stacked against us that we might as well. - [Damien] Yeah. - [Saige] Yeah. - You know what, I'm
gonna call it right now. We're not going to have
a single death because we're working together. The five of us working
together on one team, not a single death. And if we do die, if any one of us dies, I'm gonna do something real neat, and you guys will all see it. - Cool man. Can't wait to see it. - That's probably what
the Donner party said before they took Hastings' cutoff. - Let me take a look
at my trail cards here. It has to be able to connect, and I don't like this at all. I'm gonna, I'm gonna play a fort here. - What's the name of it? - Fort Womp. Womp Womp. (grunting) - And it says to collect two supply cards. (cheering) - So I'm gonna take an
Oxen and a Medicine. - I believe Oxen is plural. I just wanna say there's
no such thing as oxens. - I have no oxens. - [Saige] All right. - Oh, it's my turn. - Whoa, magic. - Okay, so we can do... oh boy. Okay, so I'm going to do,
I'm going to do a roll guy. - [Damien] Oh, buddy. - So let's hope I can
roll a even one, if not I lose a supply card.
So all right. Let's go. - [Damien] Get a four. Just do it. - And yes sir, that's a four. Look at that, look at
that, I did that for you. - Thank you kiddo. - Just for you. - It's looking up.
- And I will play this and we don't have to worry about a thing. (cheering) - Just a straight shot. (all talking) - If you're watching, you
might think, oh my God, they're making it across so quickly. They're like halfway
there. That's incorrect. Cause once the fifth card is placed, these go into a stack, of
a single card distance. - I am going to keep this
happy train and move it. (everyone cheers) - Ooh. I love that. - And this is- - [Damien] Go for it. (laughter) - [Damien] I was like, wait I won't have anything that works, so make me draw a card
and not this terrible one. - All right. - All right. - Here we go, Damien. - All righty. - It's river time. This
is the best one I got. All I have to do is roll an even number. - Oh that's not bad. (dice rolls) - Damn it! - It's a three. - [Saige] Okay, what happens to you? - [Skimpy] You lose a supply card right? - I'm gonna get rid of these spare parts. I don't think we need
37 extra wheels anyway. - True. - So these can go back into here. - Oh, it just goes back? - Yeah, it goes back to the market. So we are able to obtain it again. Y'all this card is so scary.
I have a card in my hands. It's if you roll a one, you
just die. I'm not risking that. - That's pretty insane. - It's ridiculous. (all talking) - Nobody's rolled a one yet. So odds are this dice has a one sitting in it. It's loaded. - I think it's a loaded die. - I'm just playing a calamity instead. It's our first calamity. - All right. It's okay, we got this. We got so much goods. - I'm not even worried about it. (gasp) - Wait, wait, what? - You have died of a snake bite. - There's nothing we can do. - There's nothing we could- I have two medicines. - Oh no, Saige, no. - Why? - What is this game? - No Saige, Saige, no, Saige. - For the sake of the rule of cool Just go ahead and roll this die and see if you
would have gotten a one. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's see. (laughter) - I told you. It was loaded - You're dead. You're dead. (unintelligible) - That makes me feel better yeah? - Honestly, if you ask me, I
think it's good that she's gone because it sounds like she
was going to kill us all. - But I had so many supplies
and I can only give out two. - Yeah, but that's fine. - Let's give you oxen and more... - Yeah, give me an extra food
instead of that medicine. - Just close. - That's for our little tombstone. (angelic singing) - Oh no! - Damn. - Aw... - Okay. - It's really sad. (all talking) - Before you passed away, did you repent? - No (players laugh) (all talking) - I am screaming in hell. - Oh my God, hell is real. - All right, should we continue on? - [Saige] Yes, please. - I only have one option to play and I have to get a calamity card. - [Saige] Uh oh. - I really hope it's not
another snake bite, oh God. - It's going to be so funny. (laughter) - No. No. No. No. No. - I was like, what is
the... (unintelligible) What is the shuffle? What are the odds? All right, since I'm dead, Saige will go ahead and memorialize me there. But I have to give away some stuff. All right, I'll give you
clothes and meds, good sir - Thank you. - It's my dying wish. - We'll leave a little, we'll leave a little stick
in your dirt mound tomb. - Thank you. - Who knows? Maybe we'll all die right away and we'll get a second game in. - That would be funny. - I'll pour out an old
yield 40 on your grave. - Yeah, thank you, thank you
so much, I appreciate that. - Okay, I'm doing this. - [Damien] Oh no. - I'm gonna roll. I'm gonna lose, I'd lose a supply. - [Saige} Yeah, either way, perfect. You have so many waters. - Boom. - Six - [Uncle Festus] Six! - Wow, nice. Wow. - Nailed it. - Here we go, guys. Ready for this? (all talking) - [Uncle Festus] Here comes a calamity. - [Kimmy] Oh no. - Are we still in snake bite central? - Dysentery, it's dysentery - Okay, it's not a snake. Bad water. Your oxen drink bad water. - [Kimmy] Uh oh. - Whose cleaning that up? - Flush away bad water
with one clean water card. - [Kimmy] Okay. - If two bad water cards are
collected, then two oxen die. One round of play without
an oxen card and everyone in your party has died. - I'm gonna do something awesome. - Okay. - It's time for calamity (laughter) - Come on, gimme more bad water. - Calamity Joe. - [Kimmy] It could be bad
water, it could be a snake bite. - Kill me (Saige laughs) - Oh my God. I got a second bad water. - [Kimmy] Oh no.
- [Shane] Are we all dead? - One round without an oxen card and everyone in your party is dead, so. - Do I play an oxen card now, then? - Well, you needed to do
that instead of playing a trail card. So, either you all just died, or we retcon Damien's move. - I say we all just died. - Fresh start? (cheering) - In many ways I'm a hero. - [Narrator] Round 2. Ready? Go! - Okay. Damien's going first. - So, I do nothing. - Yeah! (all talking and applauding) - We stand at nothing, queen. I also like how crooked this.. - [Damien] Snake bite! - It's a snake bite, I'm telling you. - It's not, It's extreme cold, okay. (all gasping) - Bundle up and beat the
cold with one clothing card. One round of play without a clothing card, and you have died of extreme cold. - All right, I'm going to do that- this is literally the best
option for things that I have. - [Uncle Festus] Oh no. - [Skimpy] So roll... - It's okay. It's okay, It's
just either I roll an even and I get to pass, or it's an
odd and I lose a supply card. - All right, it's not so bad
- But I'm pretty stacked. And it's a four. - Four. - That's a four, that's a
four, right? (all talking) - All right. And then
I will be doing this. - [Damien] I'm feeling
good about this y'all. - [Skimpy] Oh no, wait. No
yeah, yeah. I'll be doing this. - Take your bullets. - [Saige] Did you already
get your spare parts? - Got spare parts. - [Uncle Festus] Yeah
that'll fix the snake bite. - Nice. Nice. - All right.
- And then I stack this up. - [Saige] Yeah, wrap it up
and keep that fort on top. - Well, I'm gonna play- I'm gonna use my clothes supply. (all cheering) - Thank you. Thank you very much Ian. - And now it's onto Damien. We fixed the cold yay. - All right. I'm gonna go ahead and do this- for the river situation. Three. (all groaning) - So, you have to give up a supply card. - I'm gonna send this ox out the pasture. - [Saige] Wow. Okay. (neighing) - Do we need to use that bullet? (singing) - Yeah. - So, I am going to play this one. Oh. (all talking) - [Kimmy] Yeah, animated. - So this is another one of
those roll for something. And it's also a one. I'm gonna give up one
medicine cause I have two. - Oh yeah, yeah, you're, you're- we're chillin''''"' in meds.
Yeah, we got all the meds. - Calling it a calamity makes it seem like you don't want it to be happening. - [Kimmy] Little squiggle guy. All of mine went to outsides. - [Damien] Love dysentery, love having it. - [Kimmy] And it is dead oxen. I looked like- it did look a little bit sick for a second didn't it? So two of our oxen have died. Play one oxen card to continue. One round of play without an oxen card and everyone in your party has died. - I'm gonna do this. It makes sense. (all talking) - You don't want to have two
in play at once, ideally. - Exactly. - [Damien] So roll an even. (all moaning) - All right. Goodbye clean
water. Goodbye life straw. Oh, look at that, I happened
upon one of the oxen that Damien left on the side
of the trail and I was like, why did you that, Damien? - Good gosh. - We're saved. We're saved good sir. - It's going to be so awkward when I run into that oxen again, they're like, welcome back. (laughter) (unintelligible) - I'm gonna go ahead and play this card. I'd like to take a sip of that calamity. (laughter) - Never say that again. - How can I say it again if
I'm dead from a snake bite, Saige? Oh. Or cholera. (laughter) - When you're pretending you
like your Christmas gift. Oh, it's cholera. Two medicine cards can cure you. If any player draws
another cholera card before you're cured, you have died of cholera. - [Skimpy] So this is
the one that goes on top. - [Damien And Saige] Yeah. - [Kimmy] All right. Yeah.
Get 'em in there. Get 'em. - Whoo. It looked like we
were making progress, and just fricking kidding. Okay. I'm gonna not take on a
calamity because I don't want to risk getting another one of those. So I'm gonna try and roll and
try not to lose the supply. - [Damien] Don't get a
three, don't get a three, don't get a three. - [Uncle Festus] Damn it, a three. - Our luck has been real bad. - I can either do a calamity or a fort. - [Uncle Festus] I don't
think you can do a calamity. - You can. - No, that doesn't match up. - Oh you're right, I gotta do the fort. All right, fort it is. - Fine. I think that's... - [Damien] What's it's name? - ...two supply cards. - Night. - Fortnite (cheering and laughter) - So I should do clothes because we don't have enough clothes,
for sure. And then oxen. - Oxen. Yeah. Do it. - Do it. - All right. - I only have calamity cards. (cheering) - It doesn't matter. Cause
he's gonna have to play that. So, all right, calamity time. - Let's see. - [Damien] Son of a poop.
- [Everyone] Snake bite - [Everyone] Oh No. - Eeeee bye, guys. - So Skimpy Jiggles Jr. has died. - [Everyone] Aw - [Kimmy] Jigs. - [Damien] Yep. Swallowed by an anaconda. - So wait. What two
supply cards do we want? - [Damien] Like from the movie anaconda. - Bullets and maybe some clean water. I feel like that's one that pops up a lot. - All right. Boom. - [Uncle Festus] The
tombstone for Skimpy Jiggles- - It says Skimpy Jiggles Jr's
tombstone. It says sucks, man. - We're gonna roll up to town, everybody. And instead of collecting a supply, we're going to save
little old Damien here. - Thank you. I'm so little. Well, the good news is I'm
gonna forward this river. - [Uncle Festus] Ooh,
gotta get that even number. - You got this. You got this. We can finally get an even number. - [Saige] We gotta get an even number. - [Kimmy] Gotta.
- Right now it's a five. No, I'm feeling it. No, a two. (beep), we're still in there! Well, the good news is
we can get rid of this this dumb old medicine. - We don't believe in medicine
in the Oregon trail times. - We super believe in medicine,
please get vaccinated. - I have a calamity and it's all I can do. - (high pitched) Oo, oo. - Here we go. - Okay. - [Skimpy] Sick. Don't do it. - [Saige] I have measles. Lose one turn unless you or a trail mate plays one medicine card. If another measles card is drawn before you are cured, you've died of measles. I'm gonna say let's just skip my turn and save the supplies. - [Damien] Really? - I will say I have a medicine
so I can play medicine. my only other option to
continue this trail would be a calamity card. - Oh, the medicine is
probably the best. Thanks. - [Kimmy] Medicine!
- Oh, I feel all better. (cheering) - Just good as new. I bet it was heroin. - Yeah, probably. I love that, like, meme of
like old timey doctors be like, you got ghosts in your blood, you should do cocaine about it. (laughter) - Shane it's your turn. - [Everyone] Aw. - Skimpy Jiggles. - Well, it's a tough game. - I mean, you do play at a time, so. - [Saige] Okay. Roll it. - All right, so we've been
rolling a lot of odds, which means odds are it's gonna be even. (all talking and celebrating) - Good news is I don't have
anything that'll match up so I get to draw a trail card until I do. Then it's your turn, Saige. - [Uncle Festus] What
you got? What you got? A calamity. (sighs) - I wanna play Oregon-
Oregon trail right now. - You are. - Yeah, but I just mean like when I head home I'll
probably download it. (laughter) - I really wish I could play it. (laughter) - [Saige] Let's see. Oh. I have a broken arm.
My arms on the mend. I have to stay out for two rounds. - That sucks, only
idiots break their bones. - Huh, yeah. - All right, y'all, I
gotta get a calamity. - [Damien] Yeah, clam it up - All right, oh. I got bad water. (beep) - Drink bad water. Flush away bad water with one clean water card. If two bad water cards are collected,
then two Oxen die. - [Saige] I have clean water. (beep) - One play without an oxen card and everyone in the party is dead. (beep) - I don't have a clean water
card, but let me assure you, I do have a calamity card. - [Saige] Oh, boy. - [Skimpy] Nice. That's so us. - I drink some bad water, everybody. - I shuffled so well. So now we have to play an
oxen card instead of a clean water card in order to fix
this. Do you have an oxen card? - Yes, ha! - Okay, great. So I'm gonna turn- - I'm out for two rounds.
I realize I can't help. - [Uncle Festus] Yeah. (deep sigh) - [Kimmy] Oh no if you roll a one you die. - It's this one. It's the one where if I roll an even number we forward the river. If I roll a one, I die. If I roll a three or a five, play is passed to the left. - Oh, until you roll an even? - [Damien] Yeah. - Oh. - So any odd is dangerous. (Uncle Festus groaning and laughing) - It can kill any of us. - Oh man. - [Kimmy] All right, roll it. - Roll a one m'lord! - [Saige] Two. (beep) - One! He rolled a fricking one. - I did it. I knew I'd do it. (laughter) - Okay, do you wanna give some supplies? - Supplies, it looks like I need them. - [Skimpy] I do declare. - Thank you, sir. - [Kimmy] Done, frickin' done. - So now I have clean water,
two 200 pound bags of- (beep) - Rest in peace to Damien. Well, (laughter) (beep) - [Damien] Rest in peace. - [Skimpy] I like it. - Okay. So I play my oxen card then. To clear this up, right? - [Saige] Excellent. - Done. - [Uncle Festus] Alright Well, Kimmy. It's time to face another calamity. - [Kimmy] Oh my God. (Saige cheers) - We are so close. - Well guys, it looks like
I have died of dysentery. (excited screaming) - Welcome to ghost club. - Heh, heh, hey. Heh, heh, hey. I've died of dysentery. I got the meme. I've got the meme. (laughter) - Well, give your supplies to them. - All right. - It's Kimmy's turned cause I get skipped. - All right, I'll take those. Okay. - Thank you. - Yeah. That's well-balanced. - Wow. Okay. - All right, make a move. - So, we skip you. Well I have to draw. - Oh, that's perfect, drawing is good. - Yeah. I like drawing. - Uh huh. (all talking) - I don't have any cards. (everyone talking) - Okay so I drew it. Now it's your turn. - Oh my God, now it's here. (excited yelling) - Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. - Mine doesn't match, I have to draw. - Oh no. - You gotta draw, you gotta draw. - I gotta draw too. I gotta
draw too. Oh God, okay. - Did you get something that works? (Shane and Kimmy yelling excitedly) - Okay, it's my turn. So
my last one is a calamity. - Oh no. Oh no. Oh no - But that's fine. - But it gets to the finish. - [Kimmy] It gets to
the finish, so let's see - It's just starvation. We made it. - It's just starvation. - It's just starvation. - We made it! (all cheering and clapping) - To be fair. - [Saige] To be fair.
- I do believe we played on a slightly easy mode because I think it's supposed to be a little bit further. - [Saige] Yes. - It's supposed to be three feet, but this table's only two and a half. - Yes. - [Damien] No, that's three feet. - But we still won. - [Uncle Festus] It's
a totally fine length. - And we don't care. - [Saige] It's fine. - We don't play by the rules. - Make our own. - Hey, thanks so much for
watching us play the Oregon trail. - We did it. - We did it! - Kimmy, we did it. - We made it, we're the only survivors. We got a wagon full of dead
friends and a video for you to like, and a channel
for you to subscribe to. Click that bell, get notified every time we post a new video. Get some merch or something. There's some pretty cool
merch there as well. You should do that. - These hats will be available - These hats, including Shane's obviously time appropriate hat. - Yeah. Go check it out. (laughter) - And you know what they say. - [Everyone] Don't die of dysentery.
