Buying a $700 Auction Bike, Fixed it in 30 minutes

that's the prettiest bike i've ever seen i'm proud to be the new owner of that thing all right so we're gonna buy the cheapest motorcycle at the auction like we used to i cannot wait it's gonna be a lot of fun but while we're doing that caleb's gonna buy some bikes for the actual dealership we gotta actually do some work while we're here motorcycles have been incredibly expensive um hopefully we can get some stuff i can't wait i love the auctions i can't wait to i love spending way too much money on stuff we don't need the best thing about it is you never know what you're gonna find check it out this is gonna be a lot of fun [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is actually uh probably the most bikes i've ever seen here ever i need one of these i love these africa twins look at this one it says battery smokes don't start that's the worst thing that could be smoking on your vehicle i have never seen a sportster this is even a 1200. it's the smallest harley it's a sportster 883 with a sidecar you ever seen an 88 through the sidecar no but that's the one i was like please let me buy it all right so while we're here we need to find a 2019 or newer road king and i'd like to get the special because i think that looks a little bit better they said they don't have one here but i don't believe them they gotta have a they have a toy look at all these bikes they gotta have one you're what we call an auction optimist you see the positive in all the bikes i love all the bikes this isn't like a dog pad like you're not trying to take them all in rescue them from the streets i used to come here there was a time how many we bought 40 bikes one time yeah i was buying all of them 25 of them didn't run most of them didn't run we did okay srk cycles survived [Music] [Applause] [Music] do so if you guys ever heard me talk about a bad starter clutch on one of these v-star 1100s this is what it sounds like hear that clanking they started kind of going in and out climb climb climb climb bad starter clutch that's like uh that's like a 900 dollar job when the bike's worth maybe 1500 bucks this bike is almost no value uh that might be the cheapest bike at the auction who knows it's got a car stereo inside here yeah that's so awesome this guy bought this bike thinking he was going to do stunts or something like that looks like he was never down some guys buy these things just to protect the bike in case they drop them it's more of a stunt cage in reality it kind of gets in the way hey caleb is this h2 on the list uh yeah all right it's the sxse right yeah it's the touring one but they took the bags off i knew you'd want it these things are insane supercharged check it out supercharged so here's how this kind of goes down we'll put numbers on most of these bikes and 80 90 of these bikes and then we get beat out on most of them and then we get a handful hopefully caleb you see this r1m yeah i didn't put a number on that one it's a 20 21 for 2021 this thing has 4 100 miles on it which is actually kind of a lot of miles for a for basically a brand new bike beautiful bike though this looks like a v-star 950 let's see what he is yep estar 950 this is actually this would have been a good-looking bike stop doing this to your motorcycle um this is the crappiest spray can paint job it looks awful everything about this motorcycle is now ruined and it has very little to no value the honda dn01 is the ugliest motorcycle ever made ever like what were they thinking it's some weird like not quite like a cruiser not quite a scooter just everything's i'm sure it rides good i'm sure it's a good riding bike they just look so funny all right so the problem is that the prices are insane on motorcycles but this is the most bikes i've literally ever seen here so i might be able to get a couple at a good deal which means i could probably buy a couple bikes which would be sick i know we're gonna buy the cheapest bike but then we also have to get bikes because you know we have to stay alive so i'm looking at some of these bikes i usually go for some of this more mid stuff not the stuff like 20 20 20 21 like current model year forget it we're never gonna get that but this kind of this clean stuff is where we can get a killer deal [Music] now that right there is a very rare unit it's got a lot of carbon fiber that say yeah it's a buell lightning we've got a lot of aftermarket parts on that thing rear set it's the bike that a lot of people don't know about but they're pretty cool they're pretty unique this actually might do pretty cheap and when you hardly bust it up you got to put a band-aid on it i like that that makes sense all right so what we got going right here is this is these are lemon law buyback like these are two west one thousand double r's both beautiful bike at some point time under warranty was at the shop like for three like three times for the same issue that they couldn't fix and then they do a lemon law buyback they buy it back and they show up here and they're they're they're specifically labeled with lemon law buyback it's very possible that the problem has been fixed it's i it wouldn't really scare me to buy a bike like that now remember when you paint your bike like this you do that for you not for resale because no one else wants that all right here's going to be 10 26. wait 800 800 now [Music] oh [Music] [Music] all right so we got it the cheapest bike at the auction i would have had it for 300 bucks it went to those meddling kids some other kids some kids bid me up we paid 750 bucks for it here it is right here and it's a beautiful i don't know what it is the auction's still going but let's get this thing out of here and try to load it up in the back of the truck i think craig's going to poop through that door right there it's one of the greatest days in every man's life where he gets to buy an awesome machine such as this and we gotta we gotta get it in the back of that truck somehow check it out check it out i love this stupid hurts honda but you got that vanity mirror inside there so you know you're combing your beard and i mean that's like barely on that i feel like when it when it drops down it's like just go all right be fine all right we did it all right all right so obviously we're strapping this thing down with tank straps it's the only way to transport any motorcycle all right so we got it back we would have gotten this blank i think we paid 700 bucks for it we would have gotten this bike for 300 bucks no way we're fishing for bids at 300 bucks no one was there except for these two guys who later we found out that they stayed they watched some of our videos they watched the video about how we got started and then they started their own motorcycle dealership because they were inspired about what we were doing i just want to clarify if we inspired you in some way that's awesome just don't outbid me on the cheapest bike at the auction um nah it was super cool it was great meeting those guys we do not know the spike fire's up yet let's see if it fires up um it is missing the deck lid it was clearly spray painted by a blind person there's something supposed to be here i'm not really sure what goes there pop this open this is awesome just cool stuff this is my favorite part about this whole bike how they mounted the stereo system in there it's not even close to being straight or mounted you know the stock one came real big and they just kind of wedged it in there they got some nice sony speakers here tires not that bad [Music] [Applause] [Music] it says it has cruise control check it out this little cruise control module down here on oh it's a 1991 it's a pretty old bike i don't know what half the stuff does got a fence and [Music] i should have done something oh there we go radio turns on before we go to get this thing fired up i know you guys have a big the big question is sean who gave you 700 to now brad our uh our side by side what's one of those trades and you've seen what happened to brad a lot of cool stuff that's happened to him so at the end of the video we're gonna trade for something cool uh we're thrilled with texland you can throw in your trade options put in i'll give you some more information at the end but um and we're gonna trade this and in the next video we will you know recap of where this thing went what we traded it for i can't wait to see what type of cool stuff we get let's uh me and craig will bleed these brakes and take it for a spin look i got what you need hold on hold on i brought my own tools wow look at you so fancy with your own tools my own tools this is what we need right here if you notice on most import bikes these screws are always stripped out now on this bike they're not because they've never been bled uh craig you're breaking pieces of my bike off [Music] please be spiders please be spiders let's want to come out and spider cover the whole bike that would be awesome i'm going to run this thing purr's like a baby kit and it's still significantly smaller than the jet bike wow wow craig wow this feels a million times better it's like a brand new bike i mean the brakes are still pretty horrible but it's a dirt bike hey that's not bad i gotta admit this thing's running pretty good engine feels smooth transmission feels tight brakes feel loose just like i like it i believe this is a inline four it's smooth it pools great [Applause] let's try out this dinosaur cruise control how do you set it oh here we go set i think i did it wrong um power on okay power's on here's how we set it set excel i don't think cruise control works no i got ripped off they sell me a bike that the cruise control doesn't work maybe i don't know how to use it oh wait what is that maybe that's something with a cruise control set it no oh that's a four-way flasher okay but i take oh look highway pegs check it out ah this one's stuck in no i got ripped off all right so the uh good news is the speedometer doesn't even work which means the odometer doesn't work so that's not tracking miles chances are it just broke right now so everything else is current uh the battery lights on not sure what that means i mean the battery was good when we had it we didn't we never charged it up so who knows about that we have no idea how fast we're going but i'll tell you we're going the speed limit we're keeping up everybody and people are normally going 65 70. so this feels great i'm pretty impressed with the bike craig said the radio does work it's got bluetooth and that's awesome uh this one for 700 bucks what more can you ask for all right so that's it this thing is awesome here's the number you text to trade something uh one time we traded
