I Bought the Cheapest T-Rex on the Internet...

can i ride the back so a couple days ago i tried to buy a t-rex at an auction it it did way way way too much money i was not able to buy it but then you know what sometimes god kind of works in mysterious ways because then i found something online that i was like that's kind of similar and i need it and it was way way way cheaper it's kind of like a fake t-rex like a handmade homemade type of t-rex i really know what to expect but the guy right now has a motorcycle like the full motorcycle's in the back end of it powering the whole bike which i actually had an idea about that a long time ago where you can ride your bike in the summertime springtime and in the winter time use the same bike power plant and put a couple wheels on the front and then sit in it and drive it like a car that's kind of what this is so me and craig are headed to new york to pick it up i hope it fits in the trailer guys check that thing out he modified this so that a full motorcycle left the tire just bolts right in there and then somehow he's got the throttles and stuff connected that my friends is a thing of beauty those handlebars look a little off here it is huh yeah this is i put a 650 in it but i prefer the original rear end which i have over here it's more stable okay this is not it flexes too much okay and the other one has bigger arms and better better pivot points so you want to go for a little ride yeah let's do it anybody coming we're good we're good now it shifts like this you bring it back to neutral each time like a motorcycle all right and then now it's in second right everybody looks at this how does it handle it was fine but with that motorcycle at high speed it's not as stable as the original rear end that's why i would rather have to use original rear end got it you ever been to woodstock before is this where they have wood stock like the woodstock what's up oh well no it's my first time oh look that's his lip stock right there yeah there we go welcome to woodstock hey great there's a lot of music in this town what's with the old jag it's sold i haven't got full payment on it yet so we'll see that's one cheap 1200. 1200 bucks does it run yeah what engine's in it v8 yeah what year is that 01 uh 97. it's my dentist i i work on my dentist's stuff just uh get free dentistry oh really here comes scoop the motorcycle he likes motorcycles oh what year is this the 12 20 20. it wasn't bought until 15. it was a leftover oh okay i bought it in 15 or 16 i think i haven't used it that much you don't mind me asking what you what would you pay for it these were originally sold for 8 000 and they had them on sale to get uh you know uh at the factory so i got a better deal than that oh cool where where where's the factory california oh cool i mean that's where they're actually not made in california all right they're made in the orient but the frame is real good i mean you can see the frame it's real solid yeah that's pretty cool so let's we wouldn't do the paperwork cool so what he doesn't know is that we're buying this ridiculous thing because it's awesome but he said he had 15 motorcycles and i brought a couple extra bucks i want to try to buy something else i'm not sure what it is i'm really excited to see what else is in his uh his garage over here so let's go uh let's go check it out see if he'll sell us anything he seems like the type of guy you got to get him in the right mood or the right day to buy something let's let's uh let's see what we can get you got old marauder what a stupid design see a bsa yeah i think it's a 69 or 70. oh you know it's good because it's underneath the blanket wow 70 bsa i i saw him on it i'm not tired of it yet i'll probably sell it eventually what's something like that worth around seven what's that thing is that an investment no this is a very rare scooter it's called progress they were very popular in the late 50s early 60s this was the cadillac of motor scooter it would go on the freeway had motorcycle wheels really i had a 200cc sax motor you could fit three people on the seat it was blue i repainted it and i put a honda motor in how modern are we talking about you know 80s does it fire up uh yeah but not right now i gotta i put gas and stuff in it this is a cushion i put electric start on it it had the weirdest problem i've ever seen the magneto flywheel was rubbing on the magneto and that's why it wouldn't start that's like the biggest why that fly was so big well there's a fan in there that blows air in on the motor this is pretty rare too especially done up in the army colors right this will probably go for about five where's the other bikes at this is cool stuff isn't it yeah those bikes oh yeah uh-huh get a nice chopper seat now let's get a little just something taken around swap meets that's pretty cool that's 300 bucks what's the wife think about all these projects you got going on here girlfriend girlfriend you don't have much to say yeah i do that's why she's a girlfriend not a wife before i move back to pennsylvania i was living in georgia during college and after college i made my money by just doing stuff like this finding good deals on facebook marketplace or craigslist and then showing up and you meet the craziest the craziest coolest awesome people it is really i i really do enjoy this hey craig you got my keys hey craig you lost my keys they're not in here unless you put them someplace stupid oh maybe i stuck them in the cupboard oh right yo this is woodstock like woodstock woodstock with the hippies in a cool little town everybody knows them as the motorcycle man my only goal in life is to someday also be known as the motorcycle man but i want i want to have crazy in front of it i want to be a couple levels crazier what do you guys think is that going to fit in the trailer if not can you help us all right let's go wrap the steel up so it came with this rear end on it he took it off it's so funny he felt something brand new he took it he took this thing off putting some pipe on there so you're gonna stick a full complete motorcycle on there which i think is a really cool idea um that's awesome i'm pumped still enough it's gonna fit in the trailer though how how was your trailer i don't know let's get a little more precise than that it's around six feet i'll tell you what it should do why don't we just drive the dump thing in there and just yank the rear end of it out right here on the ramp oh i guess he doesn't have reverse no hey question for you you want to just drive this thing right up into the trailer and then we uh we take this thing off inside the trailer uh we could do that right the back so this thing seats three yeah is that where you put the kids yeah you put the extras here i got a picture of a nice blonde on the back that that singer that we saw coming around town i got a picture on it oh yeah all right so while they're working on taking this thing apart i'm gonna try to find a tape measure to see if this thing actually fits in the in the trailer you have a tape measure in here oh no just use the spring i guess i could use that tight on a strap maybe right that's on this side that should fit no wait no yes that should fit that's gonna be tight so while we're working on the bike ed came out and gave us some bagels and orange juice and it tasted amazing it was really nice to see some of that southern hospitality up in the north it reminded me of one of my favorite bible verses matthew 7 12 in every way therefore treat people the same way you would want them to treat you for this is the law and the prophets it was funny because in the listing when the guy listed this he was very clear to be like upstate new york not manhattan not new york city he really wanted the distance himself from it it feels like a i mean compared to new york city this is a different planet it's a different place i can do what i can to help the team by bringing this to them [Music] like i was saying before you never know the type of people you're going to meet when you go out and do uh different things like i just met you didn't you couldn't see him he was right here i was talking to him and his name is terry austin and he he's been here about 30 years but he was an artist for comic books i'm like oh i'm assuming like comic books i never heard of he's like no i did i was an artist for the x-men comic books and batman and superman and all these big you know comic books um that's crazy i love meeting i love meeting people man this is a lot of fun everyone here knows each other it's like when you go to craigstown and then everyone knows correct do you like the head of your town it's like mayberry yeah this is like this is not you in 20 years this is youth right now two years ago yeah it was really fun working with ed hearing some of his incredible stories things that you wouldn't necessarily expect from an old motorcycle man living in the woods wait so what what exactly did you find that you did for nasa well we did the drawings for the saturn v uh rocket ship the uh the propulsion system are you and a thousand other guys are you a rocket scientist no just a drift so we finally got the old suzuki disconnected and i asked ed a couple of times if he would just just sell me some of the bike some of the bike that came with us we don't have to disconnect it but he didn't want to apparently it's a pretty rare suzuki but i'm determined to buy one of his other rare antique bikes today then we got the old swing arm on and then ed showed us how he's been making money for the past 30 years that's longer than 100 cloth cover wow nice that's one of my products then we got the small one for the smaller bikes wow then we get the big gray ones that you can drive the bike into tape it off for the winter if you don't want mice in there throw some mothballs then i also have the cycle foot which i make i saw that you didn't get a complimentary one you're right well i stole a couple this is a cycle foot you put it under the kickstand when you park yeah this is my invention oh you invented that 300 000 we sold to these wow here's yours for free you sell it on amazon no i saw on ebay and i sell it to dealers mostly and we're not 100 sure this is going to fit but yeah we're still not sure if it's going to fit it better better maybe i had an inch or two you got an inch on this side just throw it in look at that wow tire now that is awesome all right so i talked with ed did a little bit of negotiations went back and forth with a couple numbers started to beat me up i tried to beat him up it's a 12 right i said 15 15 or 15. some reason 12 is in my head 14 all right got myself a scooter that i've never heard of that's powered by a honda motor and uh i'm pretty excited about it let's go uh let's go buy it what's going on with this extension cord hanging out on my bike that is let's see that's stock no no you in order to take the body off it should go on the inside this is how the this goes to the lights so it should be in here really i put it outside there it should be inside here wha wha why because you you have to have power how many terminal connectors maybe right right if you're at a terminal connector so you're just now i like this better because it's the terminal connectors break this doesn't break that connects your tail light to look at that beautiful scooter man that thing's pretty how many bikes you got in your warehouse 50. wow you know that sears sold motorcycles never even heard of that i just had one here it went cheap 1500. did you i don't charge a lot that's pretty cool thank you sir thank you nice to meet you all right guys so we got my uh we got my poor man t-rex and that awesome scooter here's a big question what engine should we put in that uh that poor man t-rex comment below i really really want to know because we've obviously run up an engine in he was right it can't see three
