ladies and gentlemen are you ready for the greatest allwhite gaming PC that you can build in 2023 I've been so excited for this all the parts have been slowly arriving at my doorstep and it is going to be phenomenal we've got the Corsair 5000d airflow which is one of my all-time favorites we have one less fan now but we do crucially have loads of Corsair components and everything here is going to fit that White theme and when we're done we're going to turn it on and it's going to be like a beacon in the darkness lighting the way unless we still have the studio lights on then it's still just going to be pretty bright throughout this video we're going to walk you through absolutely everything so you can see exactly all of the parts how they work how they go together and of course at the end show you those all important gameplay Benchmark numbers so you can see exactly how well this thing performs all they St to say is a massive thank you to Corsair for sponsoring this video let's build the ultimate allwhite gaming PC of course the first thing to do with pretty much any gaming PC is to work out the GPU and CPU combination that you want to go for and if you haven't already seen my video video you can find in the top round corner of your screen where we do all of the hard work for you and walk you through all the best GPU and CPU Combos and the one that we're going for today is an RTX 4070 TI this is actually one of the gaming Pro cards from palet I think this was limited edition and it certainly fits the bill as far as all white graphics cards are concerned but I'll leave a few different ones linked down below if you want to sort of go for something similar we're going for a white motherboard this is the b650 a this is an R stricks board and then the CPU that we're going for to pair with all of this is pretty much the best one you can buy for gaming this is the 7800 x3d of course you can go for Intel it is a little bit more expensive but it's not always going to give you identical performance but then the pro I suppose is they get a load more cores and it is a much better multitasking CPU but as far as all around gaming goes 7800 x3d is the chip to go for and I will try and open this as quietly as possible but someone actually commented the other day that they like the sounds of the anti-static bag so against my better judgment that's for you but yes here we have our RG stricks motherboard nice white is going to fit the theme of course it's am5 supports ddr5 memory and crucially really for a lot of people loads of USB don't discount this especially if you're looking at a more cheaper motherboard a lot of them don't actually have all of the io that you need and then you'll be later disappointed the only real downside to this motherboard is that you don't have PCI Gen 5 on this top slot which is not a problem for anything on sale today but do be aware that if you're going to upgrade to a future graph card especially one that's quite highend in maybe 2 3 4 years time then you could in theory be limiting your performance but we have to wait and see let's drop this down on top of our motherboard box grab our 8 core ryzen CPU moan about how big the box is because I mean this is just empty space it's padding what is the point there's no corer in there should be this size once you're done complaining about life's biggest problems open up your CPU socket with that little metal lever then gently raise this up grab your CPU and then just line this up with a socket of course being careful not to damage it next up is our storage and SSD we're start by installing our solid state drive this is the mp600 pro XT am I missing a heat sink up here or does it just not come with one I think I'm missing it found it it was on the floor the best storage place for things so for those of you that haven't already removed your SSD heat sink chucked on the floor and then found it again do proceed to remove that now then you can grab your SSD and just gently line this up with a slot hook that into place with the quick release and then you can just fit this back down now usually I'd proceed to brush over our memory quite quickly because let's be honest it's not the most interesting comp comp not the most interesting component in the world but actually today it really is because we not only get this lovely presentation box with this letter from Andy Paul who I have met I'm sure he remembers me and once we have removed all of the packaging you will find your Dominator titanium memory that actually has these little tops that you can replace so if you want to go for more of a wood effect you do actually get these inside the box but crucially you can sort of 3D print your own ones actually and I'm sure there'll be third party ones that you can pick up as well so the point is it's trying to be a bit more customizable with your memory I mean do be aware of the fact that these are very tall modules so if you were going for a smaller chassis and you are using quite a thick cooler then obviously this could potentially cause you some clearance issues but there's no doubt about it this is some of if not the best looking memory that you can currently get this stuff is jawdropping and soling RAM is of course ridiculously easy just make sure you are using ddr5 and a ddr5 motherboard line up the slots using numbers two and four so you're getting that four dual Channel operation then just push this down till it clicks in both sides with our motherboard combination complete we can always move on to the most personal bit of any build the chassis and I've actually got my personal rig the water cord one you can find this video in the top right corner your screen built inside one of these but it is the Black Version so this is the 5000d airf flow and I mean the reason I chose that chassis was because it is just so easy to build in it's nice and big it's spacious but it's not then too crazy it's not one of these like dual chamber design cases or an extra tall one it's it's big but it's not too big as the way I would describe it I also like the fact that you do have these little doors around the back that can help you with your cable management because if you're a bit like me and you're a bit of a stuffer then obviously you can just sort of Park this on top and it does help you to close the side panel in a pinch but we should be encouraging proper Cable Management depends how much stuff you got going in here because the main advantage of going for the IQ link that we are going for today this ecosystem is obviously it reduces down on cable clutter a lot which not only makes your build a whole lot easier but it makes it easier to manage and expand in the future so pretty excited for this the first thing that I always do with a 5,000 D though is to swap out this front panel because if you're going for like a hard drive cage or you're going to put a lot more stuff down down there then you've got this sort of hybrid where you can still fot fans or a radiator at the front but then it gives you a little bit more basement but I prefer it to sort of look a bit more visual so they do Supply you with this extra piece so you can just swap it out and I think it looks a lot cleaner the other cool thing about the 5000d is that this is actually pretty flexible when it comes to cooling because this looks pretty normal right this solid panel you have some cable management behind there but actually if you do want to go for more of a full airflow approach maybe do like a custom build like we did before or just have more fans then this piece can be removed and then you can use this fan and radiator Mount here which will give you a total of 10 10 fans while we're on that topic I'll then take the time to actually remove the ones that are supplied by default front panel just pops off as does the dust filter we also have a little Fan Hub at the top here as well which is nice but I don't think we're going to need it with these QX fans we then lay our case down flat on the desk pick up our boards and just gently line this up with that big hole at the back from remembering that we do have a pre-fitted IO shield on this motherboard so we don't really need to do anything else other than just screwing it down into place once you've done that you should start to see your gaming PC taking shape and the reason I wanted to take the fans out first is just because sometimes you have a bit of a clearance issue here if You' got very high bits of motherboard and is just a bit easier to put the fan in after you put the board in and then we can proceed to grab the first of our qx20 RGB fans these are probably my all around favorites that you can buy I mean let's be honest these are not the cheapest things in the world but if you do want to go for something that ticks every single box whether it's performance looks ease of building then this definitely has to be it obviously it comes in either black or white you've got RGB on the sides on the middle and on this outer ring and it looks good either way I mean for context actually let's unbox the starter kit where you have your three fans and as you can see they are connected together don't need to worry about cables other than that initial one and obviously one If you're sort of going out somewhere else then as far as accessories are concerned inside the box of the starter kit you get your IQ system Hub that's the brains of the operation this connects to your motherboard over USB and then you do also get your first cable that will get your fan block connected or you actually get two look there you go one 600 mil and then one much shorter one and they're white this is how easy it is by the way to actually put these together just like that and then of course the other benefit of having this as one big block is it is so much easier to actually fit in your case in the first place I mean I wouldn't recommend only using four screws but you could do it I'm actually tempted to leave it like that before we proceed to actually put our radiator inside I do want to now get our little bundle of cables from underneath and start to plug these in just rot these through to their eventual positions so we've got our USBC underneath our large ATX USB 3 is just beneath that front IO is down the bottom right this is your power reset switch and HD LEDs and then finally you've got your HD audio for the front panel this is located at the bottom some left of your motherboard then once that's done and you can already see it's starting to look super clean we can move on to our radiators and we do have a reputation on this channel as we know I'm not a massive fan of installing them I always get pretty frustrated but I'm willing to bet this is not going to be very difficult at all stop don't forget the manual I don't know what accent that was I call that Marcus but let us proceed to remove our cooler from the box nice to actually see an environmentally friendly bag and actually they have already pre fitted the fans for you so as long as you are doing what most people would do which is to have this as an exhaust blowing through into the radiator you're good to go so let's pop the top remove our mesh dust filter jump the gun a little bit and grab our 8 Pin CPU and plug this in now I promise I will go into full detail about all of the cables and power supply in just a second but long story short if you're using a modular power supply or custom cables then you can actually connect this now before you put the radiator in and it's just a lot easier so let's get that inserted pick up our radiator just fit this at the top then proceed to screw this into place and then it looks as if we would need to remove the default am5 mounting hardware on this board just by removing these plastic kind of mounting covers and the screws grab these little am4 am5 screws replace the ones you've just removed with these take off the protective cover from your block remove the default Intel Hardware grab the AMD mounting bracket out of the bag pick up your pump head and just gently push this into position and then in theory you should just be able to lay this over the top of those screws and then fit that down into position do use a screwdriver to finish it off this is the point where things might start to get a little bit more tricky as we do need to do our well not our cable management but I suppose actually plugging in the cables in the right position so you do need an additional one for this little pump but they've quite cleverly hidden most of it in the tubing so all you need to do is connect your USBC to this little block up here one cable from this fan block into our radiator so we're going out and then in but of course we need to go into to our out sound like Mary Poppins true story she actually built gaming PCs throughout her early career not many people know that and then I'll give this a good spin round so the party can properly get started with everybody's favorite Cable Management I mean it's so fun but it is actually pretty reasonable here cuz it's not going to be very difficult at all he says now we'll grab our IQ system Hub then we can carefully rout the first of our cables in then we can grab our second for that rear fan connect it to the other side let's tuck this through the back and then gently plug it in at the top look do have a 90° and a straight edge you can use whichever one you want we did actually get two system hubs by the way with this whole pack but we only need one we have our dummy fan our USB and our PCI power you already know where to put your USB but your CPU dummy connects by your CPU just here if you're wondering by the way what the point of this is because obviously yes it's not strictly necessary if you don't connect this then most motherboards will give you a warning when you try and boot up your PC and won't actually let you really do anything until you've cleared it because it will think that you don't have a coer connected to your motherboard which of course would be bad they don't know that you actually do well certainly anyway so far so good you can see with all of those fans and the radiator connected there's barely anything and when you do of course turn it around the front you definitely can't see anything either I suppose you can just about see that you USBC cable but overall pretty clean but as we know it is actually pretty normal for it to look good at this stage is when you add the power supply the things definitely can get a bit more interesting this is one of the brand new ones actually from Corsair they use the new type five connection so if you're going to go down the custom cable route that we are using here today do make sure you're buying the right one for your power supply either type four or type 5 and if you do go for one of the new type 5 kits you do actually get a PCI Gen 5 connector inside the the box as well so if you hav to buy that separately and I will also point out by the way that something that is quite cool about this power supply is that it does the cable management slightly different because look here's your normal side nothing to see there turn this around what where do the cables go they go on this side which in theory means you can actually access them all without having to take the power supply out it's not going to work with every single case but certainly here it's going to work a treat usually I'd plug all of the cables in first but I'm actively not is going to do that today screw it down into place and then we can proceed to start plugging the cables in and can you see what I mean by the way about these tiny little connections they're baby they I guess match the P Gen 5 sort of size which is pretty cool but obviously if you have custom cables already you will have to replace those if they do connect directly to your power supply I'm using a PCI Gen 5 connector one CPU and then one ATX oh and we also need one pie not for the graphics card but for our fan connections I mean I've got got to hand it to corser in this one this is pretty straightforward so let's plug in our system Hub feed through our ATX and our Graphics getting this one connected right up here at the top tid it up the best you can but to be honest there's no point really doing that until you've properly tested everything and make sure that it works which leaves us with just one final component and I don't even need to unbox it our RTX 470 TI and there are loads of different white gpus you can get I mean gigabyte sell the 4080 4090 Arrow I I've got some of their gaming X cards it's it's not as easy as buying like a black or gray one but there are plenty to choose from now but do be aware some of them can get quite expensive unscrew and remove your PCI slot covers then you can pick up your graphics cards and do the most exciting bit because it's the last bit line it up with your slot there we go and give it a good push home and there we have our almost completed all white build and it is looking so good isn't it but of course first you must finish so get this screwed down get your PC Gen 5 connection gently line this up and make sure this is clicked in all of the way T up your cables as neatly or as stuffy as you want I'm definitely more of a stuffer but I have cable managed a bit as I go so that in theory when I grab this door there shouldn't be an issue pushing this into place I mean okay there is quite a lot of bulk there to move but it kind of works not to worry though no one will ever know and then there is actually quite a heavy but hopefully finished and fully working allwhite gaming PC and honestly look how good this looks it's not even on yet and this is definitely one of the strengths of going for an allwhite build actually it is the fact that it's just so gorgeous even when it's not turned on obviously we can customize this with loads of RGB and different effects but sometimes it's nice just to take in the simple things right should we see if this works we'll grab ourselves a monitor mouse and keyboard This is the K100 a and then of course we'll be ourselves a little mouse mat this is the PC Centric mouse mat link to this is located down below so here we go then Moment of Truth hopefully no issues there is a risk that we might actually need to update the BIOS because I'm not sure how old the BIOS is on this particular board and the 7800 x3d obviously was a little bit newer but there we go we've got our lighting I mean this one's not lit up just yet but then it is lit up here so maybe this is just something we need to adjust in software but look at that I haven't seen these fans in white looks so good but in the meantime if you're using some RAM and you want to overclock it and enable the full rated speed it's just here whether be called XMP or docp as it is on this Asus motherboard with AMD but I will say that the kit we've got here is actually one for Intel so this is running at 7400 MHz that I just don't think is going to work over on the AMD side of thing so I'll set this manually to around about 6,000 MHz get some games on this and we'll be right back and indeed actually everything has been going surprisingly well it didn't take along at all to find the solution to the problem essentially I just needed one extra cable cuz I wasn't connecting this cooler to the fans but I discovered that the best way to actually have our cable run is to go into this bottom fan here that then goes into the radiator and then we have a second circuit that goes from here into the back fan and then everything was lighting up everything was working fantastic and also in terms of the memory we have managed to get this running at 7200 MHz CL 36 which is very very impressive and should give you some pretty epic performance so on that topic let's start with some games oh yes and I probably should say as well I decided that there was plenty of room down here for a little mini plant just to make things a bit different jumping into our games though we're going to start with some Starfield and in terms of the settings everything is set to Max we have dlss now which is pretty cool set to balance frame generation currently off we'll turn this on in just a second but this is running at 4K and this is actually a game that runs really pretty darn well I've got to admit did have a few issues with this this at the game launch over on Nvidia side of things but definitely no issues anymore I mean this actually runs really well I mean you can see we're getting about 115 frames a second and a game this good looking that is pretty darn impressive and because this does now come with both DSS super resolution and frame generation it does mean if you are rocking maybe a weaker system or you're running at a potentially too high resolution to normal then it's nice to have plenty of flexibility to get a smooth frame rate but I mean we will turn frame generation on now but to be honest I don't really see the need to do so because we're already as I say at about 120 FPS turn it on and we're now getting about yeah an extra 10 frames a second or so now we're looking at about 140 so not a drastic difference here I imagine it will vary depending on the system that you're using as someone is oh a out of ammo that will do it someone is going to axe me but I'm going to axe him first it all happens in Starfield pretty darn impressive performance though right but moving on to our next title is one that I really enjoyed playing this year it is a remake this is dead space but I never actually played the original and I know that they redid this from the ground up and the results are pretty remarkable so what you're seeing here is actually with rate tracing as well this is 4K deal assess and we've got everything cranked up to the absolute Max and in terms of frame rate if you are using a mouse and keyboard then I'd sort of aim for the 100 FPS Mark if you're playing this on like a television or using a controller then anything really around 60 is going to be absolutely fine but again this is another one of those titles that really does sort of punch a above its class really and this is why I actually really like the RTX 470 TI because it's a very capable GPU currently getting us pretty much bang on the money of 100 FPS here and this is without the use of DSs frame generation I mean yes you do have DSS I mean jumping quickly into the settings here just to show you what I'm talking about here everything including that rate tracing is enabled we do have DSS set to Performance though so if we turn this up to balanced I mean especially on a screen this size I don't think you're really going to notice the the difference between performance and balance but if you're playing on a larger size TV then maybe you will so yeah it has now decreased a little bit but you're still looking at around about 855 frames a second or so so still very impressive but of course this wouldn't be a PC Centric video without actually checking out some multiplayer titles and this is some Apex Legends this is running at just under Max settings actually spot Shadow details set to very high rather than Ultra and as you can see we're currently getting around about 160 170 FPS without any dlss or funny business like that we're getting some raw numbers I mean we hit 200 FPS there for a second pretty darn cool and I wouldn't really recommend most people play at 4K in multiplayer unless they have this much fps to spare but still it is very very impressive to see just how capable a machine like this can actually be I mean let's get in the Jet and fly around it does drop a little bit obviously depending on where and when you are in the game uh my teammates are asking me to come and help out they don't understand that we need to talk about the system they never understand I don't know why that is um and that's the end of that I was helpful and also before we move on I want to draw your attention to perhaps my favorite thing about this system bear in mind we're running Apex Legends flat out of the moment listen to this like I haven't changed the mic levels at all this is just how it is I've never come across a system that that is this quiet whilst playing a game I mean yes these days pretty much any decent graphics card is going to make less noise than those from a few years ago but you can usually hear something I mean this is a completely silent room and so to be able to be next to it and still not hear it is pretty ridiculous clearly those QX fans as well doing a very good job especially for the CPU in terms of temperatures I do realize some of my numbers were a bit messed up apologies they are fixed from this point onwards we're currently sitting around about 61 62° on our GPU and then our 7800 X3 D is sitting at 68 but as you can tell I have put a very very quiet fan profile on the whole system so yeah doing a very good job if you want something that's quiet you can see the appeal let's press on to the most infamously goodlooking multiplayer title we have an our test though this is some Battlefield and what you're seeing here is currently set to 4K resolution dlss is also set to Performance but everything else is ultra unfortunately we can't seem to get the performance overlays to work it's probably some anti-che thing but we do have the baked in Nvidia one up here you just press all and R by the way and it pops up if you're running an Nvidia graphics card and we're currently getting about 120 FPS with 99% looking at about 7080 FPS or so so the overall experience is definitely very very smooth but obviously it's not necessarily the title I would say you want to run at 4K resolution even though we are properly utilizing this monitor gsync feels way smoother than console I know we can get better by turning it down to 1440p so let's do that that and adjust our dealss from performance to balanced and then let's see exactly what we can get now about 140 150 FPS so yeah you can definitely see the Improvement and it will allow you to use a full 40p 165 HZ Monitor and really get the most out of it this is an absolutely fantastic way to play not really the title to try and concentrate on while you're talking to camera but if you're not doing that the whole system Battlefield it comes together is fantastic and then I also want to take this opportunity to quit out of that and then we're going to open up IQ because I want to show you a few things obviously these are all of your devices we actually also synced up Philips hu and Nano Leaf Lions so everything's looking a little bit blingy at the moment if we click on one of these murals then everything in the room and our system keyboards will sort of light up which is pretty cool but just from a more practical point of view I've always liked how easy IQ is to use and it sort of shows you all of your stats you can do some logging it's kind of as hardcore and then also is soft is that the right way of saying it I don't know as you want really it's very easy to use basically no matter how advanced you want to get and then in terms of lighting because we're using IQ link everything is actually pretty much set up and calibrated for you you don't need to tell it what you've got you don't need to like choose between all these different fan types LED strips numbers it knows everything the only thing that I did need to do is just tell it which fans were being used for the cooler just so you can sort of give it a cooler preset so these fans will then essenti react to the coolant temperature rather than anything else on your system but it's so easy to use and if you do want to set up different color themes and things then as you'd expect it is very easy to do so so here we've got our rain going at it rotary stack visor and then of course our static color white for our all white PC build pretty nifty pretty cool if you want something that's high-end is super quiet loads of performance but then looks absolutely incredible than this is going to be the allh system for you I've really enjoyed this but let me know your thoughts what do you make of our system what would you change or do you think I've got it bang on I mean I'm leaning towards that personally this time but I'd love to hear from you so let us know your thoughts down in the comment section below smash the like button if you've enjoyed this video it really does help out and get yourself subscribed I think around about 80% of you haven't subscribed what are you doing hit that button down below and of course if you do want to
