Building The PERFECT Gaming Setup For $485

this entire gaming setup cost me less than 500 and this is how I built it so I went online and after one hour I ordered everything I needed for the setup most of you guys are probably already familiar with the Xbox series s it gets 120 FPS at 1080P and then at 4K it still gets 60 FPS before I switch to PC I actually used an Xbox One S but this Xbox series s is a whole lot more powerful I never really care about packaging but I'm not gonna lie I really like the way that Microsoft packs this it's just really really like nice laid out and it just makes it feel like a little bit more premium all right so Inside the Box you get the Xbox series s of course you also get like the plain white um XBox controller it comes with two batteries and then of course you have the power cord and then it looks like an HDMI cord over a year ago I actually bought an Xbox series s for Content but I ended up like just returning it or something because I didn't really use it and that's because I didn't know you could actually use this as like a PC I'll show you guys later in the video but you can of course play games on it you can also watch YouTube and like literally do homework like you can pull up Microsoft Word and all that stuff like you can actually use this as like a browsing a device and stuff it's crazy I had no idea this existed all right so I'm pretty set on putting the Xbox series s in the corner over here but to be honest I think it looks better when it's vertical let me know if you guys have an Xbox series s if you put it vertical but it just looks a whole lot cleaner to be honest and it takes up less space now for the monitor I got a budget monitor I like a really really good price a hundred and twenty dollars for a 165 Hertz Monitor and it's also 24 inches I've actually never had a 24 inch monitor I've always gone for 27 inches just because they're like a little bit bigger but I'm kind of curious to see if like a 24 inch monitor still looks like decent sizes even though I'm used to like 27 inch monitors okay so inside we have the monitor stand the manual and it looks like it has a screwdriver some screws the HDMI or actually it's a display port and then we have another like monitor mount and I think yeah this is the power cord and then the monitor should be under here are you looking for something new and exciting to play look no further than the literally so light which really really helps a lot especially if I were to like Mount this monitor in the future because having a heavy monitor while mounting is just a nightmare this is the viotech Vo Tech 24 inch monitor and as you can see I don't know if the camera will pick it up but the bezels on this thing are so thin which just makes it look a whole lot more appealing I hate monitors with like extremely large bezels it just makes it look really really cheap so for the price I have to give it to Vo Tech they really made like a pretty decent looking monitor I actually don't think you need any screws to set up this monitor I think it's just like a slide in yeah it's literally just like that I guess that's actually really good they have these included screws in case you want to mount it or something I'm assuming because yeah I don't think you need any screws maybe just to one screw to put this plate on and that might be it actually all right just like this and then I think that's really all you need you don't even need a screw I think that's it it's literally just sliding that's the easiest monitor setup ever there's literally nothing else to it it just easily set up like that and then you're ready to go this monitor also tilts up and down just like that let's see to the side oh no okay it doesn't go side to side but it just tilts up and down which it's kind of to be expected and I mean hey it's not like the best looking stand but the monitor itself looks really nice let's put that right over there and it's now time to go to the peripherals for the headset I got an amazing quality headset it's a Logitech Pro X like gaming headset and you guys might be wondering why did I get like a League of Legends headset like why would I do that I found this on Amazon brand new for 55 and like the old black like normal version It's like a hundred dollar headset but for some reason since it's League of Legends it's the exact same thing it's literally fifty dollars cheaper 55 dollars literally basically like a 50 discount just because it has a different color compared to the normal one but it's still same sound quality same headset so to be honest this is probably like one of the best headsets I could have got for like 55 I don't think any other gaming headset beats it I'm not gonna lie I'm kind of excited to see how this headset looks I've never seen like a blue headset yeah okay this headset looks so good look at that dude this looks better than like normal black one I apart from the League of Legends at the top you literally can't tell it's like a League of Legends headset look how sick this looks like seriously I'm not even kidding this looks like super high quality it's from Logitech feels like really good high quality too like everything doesn't feel too cheap and for 55 dollars of course I have to test the sound quality but man this thing looks so good not only do you get like this really nice looking headset but it also comes with like this pretty good quality pouch doesn't feel like anything cheap honestly feels pretty premium and inside of here it just feels yeah it's like some cables just a bunch of cables I didn't know Logitech does this but it comes with like an iPhone adapter cable then I think think this is the normal cable right over here and it also comes with the microphone of course and the little dongle I didn't show you guys like a little connector thingy I'm actually so surprised Logitech included this much in it look you even have like some I don't even know what material this is it's like wool or like no it's like cotton compared like to the normal headset uh you usually see I don't know what material this is but yeah they even give you a whole separate pair in case you need that of course I'm gonna do an actual sound test later but for now that actually has some pretty good like it cuts out the sound pretty well of course even though it's not even connected or anything and it looks pretty decent I can't cap unfortunately I didn't get a headphone stand but for now I'll just leave it here while I like put the other stuff on the desk I wanted to make this setup look pretty clean so I went for like a white mouse pad it actually is not too big at all but I think it was like 12 on Amazon so just like this I'm not gonna lie this mouse pad is smaller than I thought but the camera even picks it up why are there like spots on this did they literally just send me a used product all right hopefully this gets it out it's gonna leave like a little bit of a West stain we'll check back on this later it should hopefully dry out I've always seen like these 30 or 40 dollar like pretty nice looking 60 mechanical keyboards and I finally got one it actually looks pretty nice here let me just get it out of all the packaging it comes with some extra keycaps which is pretty nice I'll pop up a picture exactly how much I spent but I think it was around like 35 dollars no more than that wait this actually isn't a 60 keyboard it's like a 70 keyboard because it has arrows but look at this thing bro like 35 dollars mechanical switches for the switches you can see they have red mechanical switches right over there it's not really focusing too well but yeah honestly of course I need to actually give this a test but so far it looks like we're getting some pretty good products like a good bang for our buck you could say I'm not sure exactly how long this cable is but it's just like a normal USBC to USB uh black cable for a keyboard that's it and for the mouse I got the Logitech G3 005 it's like a white wireless gaming mouse it cost me around 44 dollars but the old black one I think was a little bit cheaper it was around maybe 38 dollars I'd like to say again everything's gonna be in the description but yeah in case you guys are wondering the spot still did not go away I think it's drying up hopefully but yeah inside the box of course you get the mouse it actually feels relatively light I have a super super light Mouse but it feels almost the exact same way I like to say it's like 60 grams I'm not a hundred percent sure but of course you have the like charging cable and then it looks like you also have a battery it takes like uh double a batteries man nothing is trying to focus today there we go all you have to do is take out this little shell it comes out pretty easily and then you just put the battery in there then you just slide it back in and you're chilling I just unboxed everything and now I'm gonna plug it in and let's just cue the Montage [Music] it's now the next day and I got everything on the Xbox setup I installed a bunch of games and what I was talking about earlier I owned an Xbox before PC for like two years and I never knew that you literally had like a browser on Xbox like you can literally just straight up connect your keyboard and mouse and use it as a PC and you can just search up YouTube or something like this and then it pulls up YouTube and of course you can like scroll do all of that and then just check random channels like for example my channel if you guys aren't sub gotta make sure you sub we're super close to 300K by the way it's literally just like browsing on a normal PC if I just click one of the videos it's literally the exact same you have like exact same like layout as a PC the comments here like I didn't even know this existed this is sick Bro not only that but you can also do school work on an Xbox I never knew you could do that you can literally just pull up like a word online document and you can type completely normally like literally everything works you just connect the keyboard or Mouse I don't know how to get rid of this like little type whatever you want down here you can just straight up type like it's literally just like a normal PC like Xboxes or like especially the Xbox because I don't think the PS5 has browsing features so that's definitely a plus for the Xbox series s to be honest and it's also a lot cheaper but yeah I'm not gonna lie the sound quality on these headphones on Xbox is really really good I tested it out a little bit earlier today and it sounded perfectly fine and if you guys actually do end up getting this headset you have to connect it into the controller not the Xbox just to give you guys a heads up I just loaded up war zone 2 and it's so trippy using like a keyword and mouse it's just so easy to use it now it's crazy using the keyboard and mouse and Xbox it's just kind of weird to be honest all right so I was having an issue connecting the keyboard and mouse to the Xbox but all I had to do was completely restart the game and then it looks like it fixed it but dude this is so like cool that you're actually able to play keyboard and mouse on an Xbox I'm gonna again I'm gonna be kind of a bot here because the sensitivity and everything is like a little bit different compared to keyboard and mouse and all the controller to like default right now so yeah but at least we get to play on keyboard and mouse by the way I didn't already say it but this keyboard actually doesn't have RGB it has white light but you guys can barely see it on camera I guess that's why it was kind of cheap but I mean for 35 dollars this keyboard does not feel bad at all it actually feels pretty decent I can't lie I'm also playing on my brother's account because he has a pretty stocked war zone account I'm not gonna lie I'm not gonna lie this is my first time playing Warzone too I've only played Modern Warfare 2. first impression is playing on Xbox it actually feels doesn't feel bad at all if it was of course it's gonna have a little bit delay since its console but it does not feel like absolutely terrible oh wait I actually just realized since I'm playing on my brother's account it's going to be like kind of sweaty players I don't have an FPS counter but I have like 120 FPS enabled and it really does feel like it's 120 FPS and I'm also like on 120 fov and where is this guy bro oh shoot okay yeah all right I'm literally gonna need my teammate to absolutely carry me on this here yeah my team's already dead isn't he yeah nice I my teammate was not that good I just opened up fortnite list popping code ver Max just like that and now we should be good to go for some reason I couldn't log into my normal Xbox account so I literally just spent four dollars getting this weird fortnite skin just so you guys don't have to look at me using like a default skin but yeah that's just an explanation for why I'm using this ugly skin as I'm landing the Xbox is actually getting really good FPS it's getting around 110 to 120 FPS dropping to around like 103 but that is not bad at all the only thing that I really don't like about console is it has this kind of like motion blur or something and another weird thing is I don't understand why fortnite doesn't allow you to just like turn off epic settings because this is Max settings if you could go in low settings console on fortnite I've always said this could easily get probably like 180 to 200 FPS like it could easily get a lot more FPS compared to my PC with like a 3090 of course I feel a little bit more delay on the console but it's not like terrible at all it's still completely playable and especially if you're going to be upgrading from like a old gen console like an Xbox One S or something like that this is going to feel super super fast we're still basically holding 120 FPS I remember when I tested fortnite around a year and a couple months ago it was not this consistent I think fortnite made some like kind of balance or performance changes which actually does help console players a lot also this keyboard and mouse for both of them equaling like around 60 dollars they're really really good quality they don't feel like too cheap at all and it's definitely something playable especially just on Console or something like this so far I haven't even felt like a single lag Spike it's been performing really good but I want to test out how it is like of course when I get into a fight okay there's some yeah right over here I think this guy's just running bro bro does wait why is it trying to reload I feel like such a ball at everything now bro okay we're in pubs I try to go into Arena but like it literally would not let me go into Arena because my account level is not high enough which sucks wait where's this guy oh right there yo I'm why is it actually putting me against like fortnite AIS and what is my Bloom okay we're still getting around 100 FPS that is not like too bad at all dude the audio on this headset sound so crisp though like honestly it sounds a little bit weird though I can't lie it sounds a little weird but seriously for everything in this setup being brand new the Xbox series s was around 240 dollars this monitor I didn't actually talk too much about it it actually has really really good colors the camera doesn't actually do it too much Justice it looks really good in person it's a 165 Hertz monitor so in the future if you want to upgrade it to a PC or something you could still use this monitor it has really uh thin bezels just an overall good looking monitor for 120 definitely worth it and then the keyboard amount 60 dollars really good peripherals and the only thing I'd probably change about the setup is the mouse pad because to be honest it is a little bit too small I'd spend a little bit extra money I mean this mouse pad was only 12 bucks I'd probably spend like 20 25 getting just a bigger mouse pad of course you
