Building The BEST Gaming Setup For $445

I built this entire gaming setup for less than five hundred dollars so instead of a PC I actually got a console now you're probably wondering why I bought a console over a PC basically this Xbox is better than most PCS especially for its price it can run games at 120 FPS and 4K and not only can you just game with this console but you can also do stuff a PC can do like write essays watch YouTube all that stuff I'll show you guys later so I'm gonna put the Xbox like vertically up like this I think that's how most people put it I'm not sure putting it vertically will help but I'm pretty sure like the USB and stuff is over here so vertically on the side right here just like that pretty nice so the monitor that I'm pairing up with the console is this AOC monitor it's 165 Hertz and it's also a 24 inch curved gaming monitor on Amazon this monitor is going for around 145 dollars which is a really really good deal considering that it's a 165 Hertz monitor so for the keyboard I just got like a random 20 keyboard that I got off Amazon and basically this keyboard was like the first option that I saw so I was like why not it looks nice it has like red and black keycaps which look really really nice not gonna lie they do have brown switches so here's like the little sound test not the best but for twenty dollars like you can't ask for anything better it's also sixty percent if you guys can't notice it's like so lightweight and it feels like it's fully made out of plastic but I guess this is what you get for twenty dollars I'm not complaining too much so this should be a really good addition to the setup and for the mouse kind of like the same thing as the keyboard I just went on Amazon and looked at some cheap Mouse and I just found this Logitech g203 this thing costs 20 a really really cheap Mouse I think Mongrel used this mouse like back then so it's a pretty good Mouse a lot of Pros actually still use this mouse I believe super lightweight has two side buttons this mouse is pretty small like compared to my hand as you guys can see pretty small and it's really really light so for the mouse pad I just like went super basic with like this white mouse pad that I found on Amazon once again I just searched up gaming mouse pad First Option bought it this thing was like ten dollars so this is my desk and this is the mouse pad on top of it I think it was like a double XL or something like that but it doesn't fit the entire desk like the mouse pad that I currently use so like with the keyboard and the mouse on top of this mouse pad I do have a lot of room for my mouse to be moving pretty solid mouse pad that Glide with the mouse as you guys can see pretty pretty nice as well but there's just like a weird smell like of cheap plastic or whatever I don't know maybe it's just the material now what I love about the Xbox is that you could also surf the web basically the Xbox has the Microsoft Edge application installed and you can use the internet like a PC would so we had the keyboard and the mouse connected as you guys can see you can type with the keyboard and for the mouse you guys can see like a little circular cursor so you could do things like typing an essay like right here as you guys can see I'm typing an essay simple the mouse works you can change the font all that stuff super super cool and you could even watch YouTube videos at pretty high quality so we have have it at 1080 we can change it up to 1440 and it will support that since the Xbox is 4K so yeah you can basically use Microsoft Edge on the Xbox just like you would on PC so I just find that very amazing that you could use like PC features on Xbox and play games on the Xbox so another thing that you guys want to make sure to do is to turn on the 120 FPS option on the Xbox it's automatically set on 60 so basically what you want to do is click on settings go to TV and display options and down here you should see refresh rate you want to click on that and scroll up to 120 hertz alright so I loaded up fortnite as you guys can see we're getting 120 FPS I do notice the delay when building but it's not like really major basically if you guys played on PC you'll definitely notice the delay but like if you just play on Console you won't even notice this delay and you'll be perfectly fine Xbox's delay is actually way less than the ps5s though like I'm actually building pretty smoothly but yeah I'm building pretty smooth compared to when I play on a PS5 this keyboard is also really really loud and it kind of feels like a membrane keyboard like when I'm pressing on it it kind of has like a membrane keyboard sound if that kind of makes sense the keyboard was listed as mechanical I'm not sure if they meant like mechanical feel but it kind of feels like a membrane keyboard nonetheless this keyboard is still amazing like pretty nice there's like no major delay on this keyboard and the same goes for this mouse it's actually really really good this mouse it might actually be better than my Viper mini because like my Viper mini actually sometimes does have problems and this could be my new replacement Mouse who knows edit edit [Music] 40 to 40. thank you what the hell he's so low I let him get away now [Music] you might actually take this wall and kind of allow you I'm not gonna lie crack [Music] oh I am logging online [Applause] I'm dead here I'm literally dead yeah I don't know why I was lagging pretty bad so for my final thoughts about this setup is that this is probably the best thing you guys can get for under 500 the Xbox series s being under 300 and can handle most games at 120 FPS it's just honestly amazing there are a lot of PCS out there that literally cost like 600 or like 500 that can't even run 120 FPS and not to mention the Xbox can also surf the web so this is basically like the best like console PC now for the keyboard This is an amazing keyboard to get for only twenty dollars it's not like super cheap or anything but for twenty dollars this keyboard is all you can ask for the RGB is really really bright and these keycaps are also amazing now the mouse for twenty dollars is an absolute steal this mouse is literally like the Razer Viper mini it's just like a little bit heavier but the size is kind of like the same the response and glide of this mouse is really really good now the monitor is also an absolute steal because it's a 165 Hertz monitor for only 145 dollars like most 144 Hertz monitor on Amazon can cost you around 180 to 200 so overall in my opinion this is probably like the best setup that you guys can get for under 500 in performance and quality
