Building PIERCE from APHMAU in Minecraft! Noob Vs Pro Episode 22

welcome to another new versus pro where i'm the noob and she's the pro and today we are going to take our aphmau characters and build them in minecraft from memory let's see what we can do build your app character from memory but there's no boxes so does that mean there's no challenge items i don't think so i think the challenge with itself is just using our bigger boxes instead of the boxes to try to build these things yeah we have 30 minutes and i gotta build pierce here you know the the goal val pierce and you got to build uh your character mac let's do we got 30 minutes and go okay all right friends so this is the first day back from vidcon by the way we are at vidcon 2022 we partied out there and met a whole bunch of you out there all the fans of uh the outbound stuff it was really cool to see um i got to cosplay his pierce i got to you know walk around and pretend to be him so with all that in mind if for some reason you've been watching up to this point and you don't know who pierce is pierce is the character that i play when i'm over on the half bound channel and today i've got 29 minutes at this point to build pierce from my own memory now i do remember uh how and by i do remember of course i mean that i have a notepad here written with all the details of of how a minecraft character is built i'm going to make the same mistake i made last time and try to build a pierce that is actually accurate in terms of how big he is so i'm gonna start over here i'm gonna build uh two legs go one two three four and one two three three four and that is the feet of pierce and now we go over here uh one two three four one two why does this not feel as big as the one that i built before is that a problem have i can i come up with some like wrong version of this maybe i made a big big mistake last time i don't know okay let's this is the feet of pierce and we're gonna slowly build them up so we should get uh maybe black wool for the shoes after that or cold you know what block of coal let's get let's get real dark with these things shoes okay so those are his shoes i put little you know like little tongues on the shoes on the front there so you can differentiate between the rest and now he's got blue jeans so i'm just gonna go all the blue blocks that i could possibly find and just hope that i can get a good enough mix of things that we can build some good blue jeans honestly the blue ice looks pretty good on as is what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna build blue ice legs uh let's see if we already have three we need nine more five six seven eight nine on that side and then we'll just build up uh i think this was still a good plan when i tried to do what i was building mac a couple episodes ago where i just built the the framework of a character and then i kind of fill in the details after that because my worry is if i don't do this now i'm gonna get myself into extra special trouble uh later on all right so now we got the legs the next step will be the uh the coat itself and then the black tee underneath so i'm gonna do a little bit of a a yellow band around the belt if you will and then a black band underneath that and i think the rest of it is then the blue jacket after that so let's try that and see how that goes shadow how are you doing i'm doing well i you usually i'm the one who's interrupting you and all of a sudden i got jump scared see honestly that's why like when you do it it scares me every time i'm not expecting it i lose concentration but i'm i'm figuring out her leggies and i think i'm doing an okay job okay that's good especially since we got 20 minutes left yep so right now i am finishing up the torso framework for pierce uh you already got the legs and now i just need to add the arms and the head and then i can fill in all the details after that oh see i'm doing the exact opposite i'm like and building as i'm going like i'm not i'm not doing that i'm just building it good for you is what i was saying don't sound very excited for me shadow i am not because i'm not excited for me so far let's just say but i'm doing my best and i'm gonna see what i can do it feels like two blocks is not enough for black shirt and in fact maybe maybe this is how it looks where we have this and then the the yeah maybe that's what's up i think that's what i'm gonna go with where the collar pops out and the black shirt is shown underneath and that might just be how i kind of have to go with it and then um i was gonna put this that's gonna be the the yes across his shirt why does it feel like i'm not working with enough space right now am i actually doing like uh uh eight pieces across it feels like i'm not but that's a game i need to play later i i've made this mistake before i need to figure out where to build here's this face deck so i'm going to do that i'm going to work on that and then i can work out the other stuff after that go one step at a time there shadow come on focus up let's go i'm going to go for brown mushroom block i think that works pretty well for pierce i were to put it so that it is placed here here here here so that's four across and then we need two on this side and we need two on this side right oh i forgot about the arms that's why i'm like why why does this still feel so weird and the answer is he has no arms it is the same width as his body like the torso part of the body it just also happens to have stick it out of like this and like this i think yeah i'm pretty sure that's how that goes okay and then we go up and i'll replace the some of this with hair in a little bit i'm just gonna make him bald first i'm gonna make a like a charlie brown pierce first and then i'll go for uh for some actual hair after that uh that that definitely won't cause problems for me here definitely not especially as we're reaching 15 minutes back 15 minutes so pierce doesn't have uh he he doesn't have like full length sleeves he does have a decent bit of skin showing okay i think that arm looks pretty good i just need to now do it on the other side and time is starting to wind away and i'm very nervous about that i think i'm gonna start with the arm first so i know where i'm going one two three four five high count with me folks as we go one two three four five it's not like a price is right guy maybe you'll win yourself the toaster if the price is right anybody even watch that show anymore let me know in the comments if you've ever watched the price hey i don't know if you're with your meme at like noon because you're you know because you're supposed to be at school but you're sick and so you like hung out with your grandma and watch that i don't know if that happens anymore am i old i might be getting old uh oh i like being old okay you know what this is looking okay um i think with the introduction of the sleeves i do want to back this up a little bit i'm pretty sure there is more of the black shirt showing so i'm going to do that real quick pour more black shirt here so it does feel like there's something going on there us might lower the the quote-unquote white text on the on the shirt there or else it might look like he's actually just a priest it was like a little like uh little like white collar thing like sticking to the black shirt i i think i need to lower this just a little bit so we're gonna put that there uh i don't have calcite anymore whoops i want to do like right there sure why not let's put that there and there we go now we got that yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's a pierce if i ever did see one now one other thing i was thinking about as i was like digging through this is i'm also pretty sure that pierce has a slightly darker blue on the back of his shirt so i'm gonna i'm gonna go with cyan wool and put that on the back of his shirt here and see if that does okay for us i think it's i think it's just a slightly darker but not quite dark blue not you know not ian blue like the worst kind of blue so i'm just gonna go with this oh my god i don't like how this cyan turned out even though i love the color cyan i don't think this is correct but i'm gonna put the uh i'll put on the if i have time i'll put the pattern on later but right now i'm just gonna stick with that and we're just gonna we'll leave that there for now and maybe that's right maybe that's probably wrong but ah we gotta build a face we gotta build a face of hair or else this thing the whole thing falls apart ten more minutes ten more minutes ten okay so there's the eyes and then we surround the rest in mushroom block i think that's the right distribution of eyes i know he's got like two slightly different colors like for his eye pupils but like maybe that's too much i don't know it feels about right they're actually the right height i was a little worried that it'd be it would look a little bit weird but i think i kind of nailed that especially as i start to add hair on this boy i think that will start to look a little bit more normal oh no that digging this back was a bad plan it doesn't it doesn't look very good the mushroom kind of breaking off a little bit we'll just have to do our best with this one friends got very messy brown hair so it should be kind of uneven and kind of all over the place if he has a hollow head so be it i do need to fill however in the sides of the head because man that will look really weird have to make sure that pierce doesn't have bald spots pierce is not me i need to get this all nice and healed up here for the poor boy oh no it looks like it looks like he's got like he had hair curlers in it's just it's just a little too perfect in a weird sort of way all right that's that's pierce's hair we only got we have five minutes left five minutes all right there's no time for extra detail we just need to fill in the legs which is still better than i did with some of the stuff again you guys if you guys did watch that one that was uh that was a dude episode you guys should definitely go watch the time that mac and i built each other's uh characters current minecraft skins from scratch from memory uh i butchered poor mac i really i felt i felt like i ruined a friendship that day honestly i got 30 seconds back 30 seconds does your face look weird yes wait do you mean like in minecraft or in real life in minecraft oh okay yeah no that also still looks weird right i do not remember what the pattern is on the back of pierce's thing so i'm just gonna put a smiley face on the back because hey you know what bali face is going to make the world go around i can either put high or i could put smiley face and i decided to go smiley face and i think that is pretty much all i could do for this poor boy he doesn't have a nose he doesn't have anything else going on there i think i'm just gonna with that i'm gonna oh dark blue uh i'm gonna go light blue i'm gonna i'm gonna replace uh just go straight light blue and i think his eyes are darker than that but uh or do i want dark blue 10 more seconds i think that's more accurate even though that might be more like an ian blue it's fine it's fine i think that's what i got it's there just looks so ridiculous and three two one and that's game not me freaking out this is fine all right mac you ready to show off our designs yeah you go first okay so i had 30 minutes to build the current half bow pierce that's the one i was looking for and uh this is what i came up with wow that's actually pretty good shadow yeah i i there are from like this far out i think i did a pretty good job i think i got i got the shoes right i got the jeans i don't think i got the holes in the jeans but i got that uh i know that he wears a blue jacket and i got that i got like the the blue the black shirt with like the little white writing on it um and i think i more or less got his eyes okay i'm gonna level with you i don't really like the mangrove hair very much yeah like i like from afar like it looks like hair you know what you're right you're right if you go further away it goes it looks nice then as soon as you get closer like uh but i can see his skull you're like is he balding i don't know yeah the the biggest mistake too is i i completely forgot about the pattern that he had on his back so i just put a smiley face so that's fine and honestly it's probably so detailed in the back that we couldn't do it in minecraft anyway yeah hooray for inability to have artistic talent all right yeah so there there's my friend uh there are no secret surprises this time i took all 30 minutes to build this and nothing else so yeah yeah that's that's all i got but yeah i i think it did pretty good i think you did great thank you thank you thank you yeah let's go take a look here we go we have mac oh i like her eyes she looks angry i don't know i couldn't get the face right i needed i was working on the eyes when you said we had two minutes so i was like something's not right yeah i think the big play here is i think there are two like skin spaces in between the eyes i think they're just it's just a little a little a little like uh cross side at the moment a little nearsighted i think so i i think that's a little bit more of like how it usually goes yeah yeah okay i like it yep good good suggestion uh-huh let's take a look at the rest of this i guess uh i love the little shorts those are cute i think the boots are pretty much on point you were bold enough to use powder uh i noticed i i do not have that sort of ability i wish i could use concrete powder but every time i use it it just falls and i forget to like build the structure around it so i give up i think obviously the results speak for themselves in terms of like you nailed the hair let me just say like i think i think it really looks like honest to goodness like like max hair yeah i think i think it looks really good thank you yeah i think i think we both did pretty good like there wasn't anything about either of ours that i was like like like from afar they look great so yeah these aren't nearly the train wrecks of the previous set word let's just say the before it was really bad like really
