[Music] hey you guys it's me Mandy and I am doing a super awesome tutorial today this is Kirstie we are doing a hair transformation stealth let's talk about here Steve hair okay so Kirstie is actually a natural level seven what we are doing today is taking hair completely blonde in order for me to take Kirstie blonde today we have to be obviously healthy and we have to make sure her hair to the fall out okay and there is one way I can create that to happen without her hair falling out if we were to take her completely blonde walking out the door today without olaplex Vanessa her hair would be mushy falling out you probably have the chocolate to her shoulders it just wouldn't work but because I have a miracle and I have the magic of all I can get this hair to be blonde today in one city so that's what we are doing today you guys you are taking a brunette to blonde and we are so excited she's right to be blonde because she knows blondes have more fun yes and I'm happy to be back she's going to be back to her roots I mean she's NAT she's been dark for what two years yeah just about about two years and it's fun it really has popped her features here's the thing about Kirstie she's like you know I it's been nice having brown hair because they gave her blonde hair a little bit of a break but again she's ready to kind of have that brightness sunshine hair back so um it's fun having a change it's fun doing something knowing that you liked it but now knowing okay I'd rather be blonde min Burnett her husband wants her to be blonde so husband you are going to have some happy and so I'm going to show you my some mixture and their process and how I'm going to be doing this technique today it's a little different than all my previous video so I'm excited to show you guys something new today so you stay tuned and we I'm going to get mixing in the color okay you buy so first of all you see these extensions from laced hair look how beautiful this color and I am so excited we are gonna be putting in frontal extensions and I'll show you guys how we're gonna do that but this color is beautiful it's the sea I'll tell you the color its Oh 8 over 613 so this is the ombre blond extension so we will be using least hair today on that I'm gonna go in here and I'm gonna start with 2 scoops of Ratkin flash lick do you all know it's my babes and it's the only liner that I really will use it's the one I have found that just works the best so I'm gonna be doing two and a half scoops of Lightner okay okay here's the thing with olaplex is it dilutes so I'm going to be using a 40 volume to create a 30 volume so I'm going to go in here and add in my amount a developer that I like be some of my consistency and I kind of like to give it a good solid layer above the bleach and olaplex you're supposed to mix in the product before you add it in so we're gonna go in here and just mix it on up make sure it's the consistency that you like that is the biggest key with Lightner is you can create it to be thicker you can create it to be more thinner I like about a medium consistency olaplex is fun because I have this cute little reservoir and measurement and every single time that you use Ella plasti doesn't matter if you use one scoop two scoops three scoops you always have to start with one 8-ounce but because I have a good solid amount of liner I'm gonna squeeze this bottle and I'm gonna show you guys that you squeeze it oh it would be smart if you took the lid off that would help um you're gonna squeeze it on up and it's going to kind of lift out of that bottle and we're gonna take it to 1/4 ounce okay that's crazy that's all it needs um it's very very very strong product and honestly um you can always add its had bit more I'm gonna add like a tad bit more just because you can I mean it's gonna kind of take the processing time a little bit slower but it's always an option add more so now that we have this product in that a small amount of olaplex dilutes this lighter down to 30 volume so what it's doing is it's creating the hair strength to stay and keep the integrity of the hair this just gives the hair insurance really is what it is so I have got this product sent to me I'm so excited I've actually been following this company for a little while but guess what this is inside this box so you guys are gonna be like what's in there it's an exciting little Christmas present um so it's these little styrofoam strips cake these are amazing I can't wait to use them Ivan Ivan seeing the results of people's colors and they're just great to use so I would think you think some of those today and this coming is called if I pronouncing this right I could be wrong but it seems like it's called MV Mechi I mean II GME met Jay I have no idea but it's these styrofoam little piggies who are sectioning it into four okay I'm going to be starting with this side because this this top area is where it always is shown the most so at her party tiny section just like this okay and if you guys can see it close this is where her virgin hair is so we need to lift this color through the mid-shaft to the ends all the way to about a seven level so I'm gonna take one of these great little things and I'm gonna place that down and guess what I'm gonna start doing and very very very small sectioning I'm going to start feathering through this entire area okay what I've heard about these great little foam um pads is that it helps the hair breathe while processing and it helps it keep moisture and heat so that's awesome so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go in here and I'm actually going to just feather all the way through the entire root section all the way to the end and I'm going to make sure I saturate really really good so through there root area where her virgin hair is through right here we don't need to put a whole ton of product because we kind of want a little bit of that really look coming through so her hair growing out it's so crazy of a difference between you know her natural and the color we'll be doing so we're gonna go in here and we're going to just take this all the way and just saturate this baby on up and what I like to do is leave out about an two inch section at the very bottom so you can take that and you just fold it on over and you place it just like that and that should let it breathe and stay on a hold now I'm gonna flip that over and I'm going to be doing the next section just like that Kay there's going to be a few sections that I'm going to be weaving and doing this same thing so again take a small spine section enough where you see see-through but enough where you can handle and have under control this section I'm going to be taking very very very very fine fine fine weeds because you want to be able to have a little bit of disconnection I'm going to place this great little boom that is brilliant because it's nice because it's you don't have to hear like a foil over foil all over the head it's more enjoyable for the client so I'm in it also again take this all the way to the root and I am saturating and I'm putting pressure you guys you want to make sure that this product seats through down to the very underneath of the hair and if you have to go throughout the hair after processing time and slip these and touch up the very bottom we totally can flipping it on over when I weaved out that section you have this little tiny section that is left out you want to know what I want to do is I actually want to leave that out for just a split moment and I'll show you guys what I'm gonna do with that at the very end so as you guys can see I'm really getting close to those roots I'm just feathering but lightly I'm hitting the root hitting the scalp section because we don't want it's a touch her scalp because that's not very pleasant like it's painful if I were to go in here and just paint that straight on to her scalp a lot of people have been doing that but honestly I prefer not because it's not it's not it doesn't feel good it hurts so same thing now because I just had this section all one I'm going to go in here and do very fine fine weaves really putting pressure onto this you guys and I like to take those ends and flip on on up and then what I like to do is kind of a circle if you open and you see okay there's some that is still left out ad product on there so this is what I'll be doing throughout the entire process of the hair you guys it is simple but yet very technical because you've got to know your technique so this section is going to be fine I have to do a very very fine section because I feel like the further I'm getting down the more hair the hair's getting a little bit thicker so make sure you just really focus on those sections because that's that's maybe the biggest trick right now is don't go sloppy on it you guys you want to make sure you create very fine clean sections that are fine enough where the product will work in a good timely manner but yeah you want to make sure you're going a little bit quicker because you have 30 volume bleach on this entire hair so that's what I would suggest it's fine sections make sure you prep put a lot of product onto it and make sure you don't just take your time you want to go a little bit quicker with it so same thing all the way throughout the hair you guys this would be a fun process and I'm excited for you guys to watch it with me because this is something that is not necessarily newer I now know olaplex I know the product I know that it works I am completely confident in it okay you guys so we're here on the other side we well let me show you guys we're gonna do so excited so I just took a peek under these look what it's doing do you see that color it's getting blond and it's lifting fast so I got to work a little bit quicker [Music] okay you guys so we have the hair completely processing right now she's fully covered full of these foams all over and it's lightweight and I like that and they stay stay stay in place which is awesome I am loving these things holy cow but I want to show you guys let's look at these results together oh let's pull this open and let's check it out okay so it's getting a lot lighter which is amazing it's definitely still going through its processing stage and this is what I want to do I want to take because I know that this um color has been on for a little bit I want to just kind of enhance it a little bit by adding more product you can never go wrong doing that so I'm gonna go in here and keep adding a little bit more product and kind of just enhance it a tiny bit and based on this hair it feels great like I I'm feeling like I'm pulling pretty hard I'm tugging at this I don't feel stretchiness I don't feel any elasticity kind of going weak I feel really good about what it's doing it's processing great her hair is definitely the type of hair that's gonna need a toner so we're gonna definitely tone up this hair when we're finished with the processes and kind of see which ones seem that need more product and and now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put her under the heat for 15 minutes and you wanna make sure you control the heat but he cannot be a damaging thing but yeah it can be a great thing because it enhances the hair and the processing time for just a little bit and sometimes it kind of just pops out that brassy color just by putting a little bit of heat on there so so far like normal and like my last video I'm super impressed by what it's doing [Music] okay you guys so as she's processing right now I went through kind of free up dated with the the color under each foil each under each foam I keep wanting to stay foil but it's song what I'm going to do now that we have these in-between subsection here okay this is too dark for my for my process that I'm doing to her hair okay so now what I'm going to be doing you guys is this in-between hair is going to be lifted a few shades okay so I'm going to be using red can 10 na and forty developer and olaplex because okay so here is the story with this a lot of people say oh my gosh color doesn't left color I get it it normally doesn't live color but when you're using such a high volume process developer it will budge and it will lift a little bit so I'm going to mix these all together and put those on the brown sectioning of the hair so so 10 na is a 10 level with a neutral ash which I like so I'm actually gonna be using the whole bottle there because she has enough hair to do that and then I'm gonna be putting in the 40 volume and we are going to be putting this on for the probably the last 20 minutes of processing we're gonna mix that together before you and with olaplex with color you only need to use using 1/8 with color so you're gonna just squeeze that on in and get that right to 1/8 [Music] and mix that together okay so here is not in between here so what I'm going to be doing you guys is I'm gonna just take my product and I'm going to just paint that right on right on to the very root okay and I'm gonna just keep that on to this foam part right here and I'm gonna make sure I get it all the way to the ends so I'm gonna take that and kind of just press that all in saturate really nicely and what's gonna be nice is like I say normally color does not lift color but using 40 developer it's going to budge a tiny bit so if we can get this to budge even one level higher that's perfect kay so now that that has fully saturation on it and a half color on it what I'm gonna do is I'm going to flip it on the other side as you can see this side has nothing so I'm safe with this going over there on that side so I'm gonna find each section and I'm gonna go in here and make sure this color is on this in between here I'm gonna do this all the way throughout the entire hair [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay you guys I am going to be mixing up a toner if you follow me you all know I love red can shades eq 9v plan heights it's amazing okay so I'm gonna be doing two ounces of platinum ice I'm gonna go in here and put it to two perfect and this process is a half it is equal parts so if I'm doing - I'm going to now go up to four with processing solution perfect okay so I have her in the shampoo bowl and add you guys could see she's definitely a lot lighter Aaron pen I'm definitely considering her a blonde after this process so right now obviously you see a little bit of brassiness you see some warmth you see some good blonde pieces you still see some of her natural that lifted up a little bit but now we got to do is I'm gonna go in here and tone the hair so I'm gonna be toning it I'm gonna have you close your eyes from UK and put the toner everywhere and I'm gonna keep this toner on for about we're gonna save on a play by ear I can't tell you the time but I want to keep this on for a little while get your toner everywhere you really want to saturate don't leave out any spots so normally after after this you you rinse the hair and you would put number two of old tux on but it's okay to tone before you add number two of olaplex and I'm gonna massage it on in and the hair feels really good you guys I don't see any hairball so as you guys can see I'm seeing the color change I'm gonna keep this in for probably a good ten minutes normally toner takes really fast and you really want to watch it and you want to make sure that it's consistent all the way through you want to make sure it's consistent all the way through you want the toner to be everywhere in the hair okay so we just toned the hair it looks really good there's a few spots that took I'm really good and if you spot that just suddenly took which is fine so now with where we shampoo conditioner hair number two of all obsessed has to be applied on before we shampoo cuz if it's stagnant this is what fills the dill some I use a pretty good amount um I like to take advantage of this stuff it goes on like a conditioner and it actually smells really good so I'm going in here and it's really going and putting quite a bit in here yeah but this soap in the hair for about ten minutes and then I'm gonna blow dry then I'm gonna do a little bit of a trimming just a tiny dusting cuz we know we're growing hair out okay you guys so we just got her out of the shampoo bowl and she's no longer a brunette we'll just say that there was a lot of amazing multi colors going through her hair I am brushing her hair with a wet brush a wet brush you always want a wet brush always always so I wanted to show you guys as I'm brushing her hair it just glides through this wet brush is kind of glides through and kind of gets through those snarls with no big problem at all and and I just want to show you this because we just chemically damaged her hair and her hair feels amazing and there's like no breaks breakage happening there's no hair falling out her hair is still there her hair still feels strong so eyeness this review and olaplex is just freaking me out like I can't even believe how good it is so as you all know by now this is my second video of olaplex and I'm saying that it's miracle and I was highly suggested why so here on the sides we are going in and we are just adding in some tape and frontal pieces and I want to show you guys just a quick little thing how I do it okay Pepa say we are so impressive this color it's blending and perfect with these extensions so what I'm going to do is I'm going to just take a small section just like this you want it to be see-through you want to pick this up and you want to look in between you want to be able to see through that hair you're going to take the same exact measurements add the tape and adhesive so you're gonna want to make sure those go right in together you're going to take it on one side really press really hard against the scalp pull her natural hair this is the way I do and this is my own technique other people do different I like to take my fingers and really press up there and then I press really hard with that natural hair with her hair clipping in to the tape right there then I like to kind of go like this make sure the hair is all the way secure on that tape and we take another cute little hair and we place it right on top of that just like that I really put some pressure and chip between those two sandwiches and boom she asleep at long hair now but I want you guys to see this color look how amazing it is blending it's so pretty I'm so happy with these results and your hair feels awesome [Music] um hello my friends so we are finished with Honda I'm shocked like I am so shocked that her hair is blonde and once didn't you guys one city there are a few spots that are a little golden and I'm not going to say they're orange they're not orange they're just more warm and golden okay we added in her frontal blonde extensions in which just enhanced the hair just that much more her hair feels amazing love it don't you like you feel your hair and tell me oh so good Mikey's smooth see you guys and you loved it we just damaged the heck out of her hair I'm surprised no hair came out not even an ounce of hair came out and we are going to be doing probably two good solid processes with olaplex this is the first inning we're gonna do one more probably here in the next six weeks so you'll probably see her and her new updated hair and and the hair feels good it's strong there's no there's been no damage like I just some shocked then I always hope and wish
