Bishop Norman L. Wagner - Next Time

that no one can provide but God somebody to show you the way we are overjoyed tonight and our form of anxiety in Bishop he is a worshiper par excellence he is a great great leader he's a father he's a husband he exemplifies so many of the attributes that we look to measure in our own lives but most of all he's a man after God's own heart received with the joy of the Lord Bishop Norman L Wagner of Calvary ministries and Youngstown oh the blessings of the Lord be upon you all while we're on our feet I want to say that our presider and his lovely wife and children have led this conference mightily this week and then to top it off I told him he preached a presiding bishops message yesterday if you don't know what a presiding vicious message is just stand in his place and feel that burden upon you and you will understand I think and I mean this from my heart we got the best assistant presiding bishop there he is [Applause] he and his lovely wife he and his lovely wife have done a tremendous job this week and before I let you sit down they have already introduced them but I tell them anytime bishop walls is around I'm the junior Bishop that's the real bishop right there that's the real bishop that's the real bishop right there will we just been junior bishops around him this the real bishop here give a great praise for Bishop walls and to the people I love the Texas State Council who has done a tremendous job [Applause] they have done a tremendous job this week hosting you give Texas a great hat now you may be seated thank you I am privileged today to have my family with me I I am as you know usually somewhere on a plane every week of my life going somewhere around the world and I don't always have the privilege of having all of them in one place but they're all here today and my wife for 44 years dr. rita helen wagner my wife declares that my girls think they're my why so this is christian joy that's christian my sect my first daughter this is Camille Antoinette my second daughter and the grand duchess that runs the house the granddaughter this is british milan my assignment from god is getting ready to take us to a place where I'm on an assignment to get you up out of a grave tonight I know you think I'm joking but I'm not tell the person next to you you getting up to night [Music] we didn't heard your troubles and your sad story they're getting up tonight thank God for the great Ministry of who has to be one of God's finest human angels and that's Fred Hammond it is a time for worship before the Lord and I made a commitment to him I would do it every day of my life daily I will [Music] worship thee O Lamb of God who died for me thy extended in less mercies and daily I will worship thee because there's not a friend like the lowly Jesus no there's not a one no no no no no no no there's not one and there's none else who can heal all my soul's [Music] diseases no not one no no no no no no no no not one Jesus knows all about every one of your struggles and he was your only guide until the day it's done it's not one friend no no no no I've been remaining to California and I tell you there is not one friend I've been from Africa to China but there is not one friend like the lowly Jesus [Music] that's why I'll praise Him and I'll lift him up and I will magnify his name oh I love Jesus oh how I love gee he's our oh how I love Jesus because he first loved me I will praise him I will lift him up I will magnify his name [Music] you don't know like I know [Music] what is done for me you really don't know like I know what is done for me you don't know like I can't know what he's done for me you really don't know like I can't know what he's done for me and the old sanctified Church grandmama never get a hold of that song we sing that one song by itself for about 42 minutes when we thought they had exhausted every person what he's done and the old mother in the church would kid up she said what is done what he's done what he's done for me she say what is done what is done what is done for me I said you don't know like I know no you don't know like I know [Music] what is done what what is done [Music] there's a sound of a sanctified Church and it's in the hand-clapping you can almost tell what denomination you're from if we can just hear the hand clap psyched up I both got our hands everybody can do [Music] a good job when I think about your job I get John when I think about what it's done what let's just take it out here [Music] [Music] what is done what is done what is done what is that papa [Music] [Applause] I know I know [Music] stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop sit down I got to work I got to go to work I gotta go to work I gotta go to work we got a concert coming I gotta move sit down and get your Bible get your Bible get your Bible [Music] turn in your Bible to the acts of the Holy Spirit it is often called the Acts of the Apostles but in as much as their only four apostles mentioned in the book of Acts I would suggest we look at it as the acts or the actions of the Holy Spirit it is in the fifteenth chapter that I'm going to give to you the prophecy of the master prophet Jesus and then to teach us how to activate that prophecy you need practice the practice will be found in one of the most familiar passages in the scripture Ezekiel 37 some people call it the valley of the dry bones let us first skip the prophecy and then we will get the practice acts 15 I shall begin reading with verse 13 and after they had held their peace James answer st. men and brethren hearken unto me Simeon meaning Simon Peter had declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles to take out of them a people what's the rest of it tell somebody that's us and to this agree the words of the prophets as it is written after this I will return and will build again the tabernacle of David which has fallen down and I will build a gang to ruins and I will set it up that the residue of men might seek after the Lord and all of the Gentiles upon whom my name is called saith the Lord who doeth all these things known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world let's see how this happens Ezekiel 37 the hand of the Lord was upon me and carried me out in the Spirit of the Lord and sent me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones and caused me to pass by them roundabout and behold there were very many in the open Valley and lo they were very dried and he said unto me son of man can these bones live and I answered all the Lord God thou knowest and he said unto me prophesy upon these bones and say unto them all ye dry bones hear the word of the Lord I'm in verse 7 so I prophesied as I was commanded and as I prophesied there was a noise and behold a shaking and the bones came together bone to his bone ladies and gentlemen I am down now in to verse 11 I I'm sorry verse 9 and he said unto me prophesy unto the when prophesy son a man and say to the wind that saith the Lord God come from the four winds o breath and breathe upon the slain that they may live so I prophesied as he commanded me and the breath came into them and they lived and stood up upon their feet an exceeding great army and he said unto me son of man these bones are the whole house of Israel behold they say our bones are dry and our hope is lost we are cut off for our parts therefore prophesy and say unto them thus saith the Lord God behold all my people I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves and bring you into the Land of Israel and ye shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened your graves o my people and brought you up out of your grave and all the people said please be seated ladies and gentlemen the contextual summary of this message is really found in this 37 chapter The Book of Ezekiel however the prophetic call of this message to the Pentecostal Assemblies of the world and to the apostolate church is found in acts the 15 chapter so be not confused a subject will come from there but the substratum of the whole message upon which we will build will come out of Ezekiel listen to the word of the Lord from the acts of the Holy Spirit that was in the fourteenth verse the 15 chapter Simon Peter he's really saying has declared how God at the first it visit the Gentiles to take out of them like people for his name then he says in verse 16 after this I will return and will build again I will build again the subject of tonight's message is called next time next time Saul I want you to tell somebody next time let us pray father open our understanding and spiritually navigate our way into the mind of God that we may sit at your feet and matriculated from the university of god the thoughts the purpose and the way of God in us we promise a praise you now and forever in Jesus name Amen next time there is an assigned time in everyone's life that when acted upon by that one will change the course of human history forever I propose to you that time has now arrived this day August the 8th 2008 this day will not be back for another thousand years this is 8 8 8 it is imperative that you understand that to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heavens it is a terrible thing that we who claim to know so much about God overlooked some things that the world can teach us the one I'm referring to today is something called time God deals with time the Bible calls it a set time when a woman is pregnant we would say she's pregnant with the baby and those others God says she's pregnant with a man or woman God always goes to the end of a matter and calls the thing at the end before the beginning begins the closest I can think to that in the world are the Russian play writers a Russian playwright starts his script at the end of a story he deals with how it ends and then he builds characters drama and circumstances to get to that in time has been set by God for you the Lord - Jeremiah I know the thoughts I think towards you they thoughts of peace and not of evil and these thoughts the thought will bring you to unexpected in get in the game I haven't even created you yet but the fact that I think about you is going to get you through every test you will ever experience the thought that I think about you will be stronger are you ready then even the sin that you can commit the thought can get you heal and I know you just heard that you got two months to live the reason is God cannot think an idle thought whatever God thinks to be is not shall be not should have been could have been would have been whatever God thinks to be is ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters God made sure that you would get here on this night we could have been in Beijing they got two or three new movies coming out on 888 but God picked you up and said I'm going to put you in a place that is designed to catch you back to the original thought I had about you it is not by accident that you are here tonight the reason why some of you got tied up in the airport is because the devil was trying to deter you from your destiny the reason why they couldn't find your suitcases for a couple of days and your baggage was lost the devil was trying to make you a shame to come to church in what you flew in and everything he tried did not work because of the plot God thought about you he says now I know the thought somebody say past tense that I think somebody's a president so now we see what God is thinking about you now is what he thought about you before he created you and what God is really saying I haven't changed my mind [Applause] after all you've been through and nobody but a couple of folk in here know how crazy you've been after all that you have experienced after you even given up on yourself after you've been divorced six times after all that's happened to you after you've been fired twelve times and people have given up on you God and God alone he says I'm still thinking the same thing I know the pot I think towards you saith the Lord and you heard all of that you brought all this on you you did it but he said now don't get confused with my thoughts and those people's thoughts he said all the thoughts I think towards you are thoughts of peace and not of evil I don't think evil thoughts about you I think about ways of getting you out of your evilness and so ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters God says the first thing you got to do is think about you like God thinks about you and that's a lesson to all of us sorry Bishop Wagner all of us who are preachers you know sometimes when you are novice at this you think that you can preach people to heaven by telling them how evil and how sinful and how ungodly they are and you said so what you're doing I'm trying to get them to repent and God's gonna kill you God's gonna knock you down God's gonna destroy you but the Bible says that's not the way to do it the Bible says you don't do it like that he said it's not the evil he said it's the goodness of God that leads you to repentance if you want to get somebody to repent you got to tell him he's a good god he's a loving Savior he's too good for you to act like you actin he loves you too much for you to give up one of the greatest sins among church folk is the sin of low self-esteem you're going to have to think of yourself like God thinks about you you remember in the work that the Apostle Paul did to that Corinthian church and when he was working on it and he came to the Holy Communion and he said to them he said that every man examine himself talks about worthiness and then he says that we're not to take the Lord's Supper carelessly and then he says for this cause many are sick among you for this cause many a week and for this cause many are dead we stop there we stop there see but that's not the rest the calls is he says because you didn't discern the body of the Lord you didn't discern that that person sitting next to you who's a member of the body is anointed of God you you didn't deserve that the person sitting in your seat is loved by God and because you haven't discerned that you're weak you're sick and some people die because they have not been able to understand two things of God that I think is the hardest things for preachers well let me not indict everybody for me to get across the people and they are one the forgiveness of God and the love of God I think it's two of the hardest service in the world for me to relate to people how God forgives and how God loves now don't become too confuse you heard Fred talking about one of my friends in a positive way and that's the Winans Fred used to play years ago he used to play the bass for them and Marvin wrote a song he was young he said it is good to know he'll be there if ever I fall but it's better to know that I don't have to fall at all so here ladies and gentlemen the confuse Christ the crisis the Crito so Christ is the anointed one the flesh not the divinity the flesh the Anointed One and so now that's what confuses me it confuses me when you tell me the Lord our maker way somehow and I'm still tied up it confuses me when you told me to get in this one hundred and fifty dollar line and ends and in seven days in seven days you're gonna go to the mailbox and in seven days you're gonna be out of all the debt you ever been in in seven days and I come and I bring my rent money and the money that I had to get back home home and I stand there and in seven days I go to the mailbox and they tell me you got seven more days to stay in this house before you foreclosed on confuse confuse you have to begin by understanding who you are ladies and gentlemen when we deal with the man himself the trichotomy a man body soul and spirit you're going to find that that man is both human and divine when you deal with man you're going to deal with what a man is versus who he is many many years ago when I first took philosophy in school and God blessed me to do pretty well in college in philosophy I don't think I ever scored under being philosophy and back in that day they would teach a subject and whatever they were teaching they would say now we're going to explain to you the tree-ness the treena's water Ness man Ness everything was Ness Ness Ness so now I want to talk to you a moment about your who Ness and your witness you see what you are is not who you are what you are is defined by what you doing what experiences you've had what things have attached themselves to you what you have been identified as by personality that's what you are but who you are has nothing to do with what you do who you are is who God thought you to be has nothing at all to do with you ladies and gentlemen as most of you know and you will see me in the hallway you say magnet mr. Wagner mr. Wagner and I hear it more here than I do when I'm in my house where I live with my family dinner's ready nobody holds up the stair Bishop dinner sir my daughter's don't call me Bishop they call me daddy that's what I am got quiet in here messing with somebody's house I got that right now I got it I got it when you're in church and the minister come down your alley if you don't want people to know just go hallelujah amen when you when you been screaming and you get quiet we know something dear but they don't call me Bishop in my house that's what I am I am an overseer that's what I am in the name of Jesus [Applause] now yellow jack is gone now and I'm not gonna get you out of the grave tonight [Applause] you can be selective on who you get not so here that's the what that's the what so who you are is who God thought you to be and God never changes his mind listen you remember the gifts and callings of God are without repentance that means when God gives you a gift and a calling he doesn't change his mind he doesn't change his mind you still have the gift and the colleague so here you will see now that when you look at the text that is before us we have arrived at a place that God says I will return and I will build again the tabernacle of David the tabernacle of course deals with the dwelling place of God David was the man that brought God's presence closer and closer to the earth the tabernacle of David does not deal with worship songs bless you Jesus that's not the tabernacle of David and that's called chanting that's not even singing that's chanting but anyway that's the tabernacle that's not the tabernacle the tabernacle is where God is going to set up a place and be pleased to dwell among you he told Moses build me a tabernacle that I may dwell among you now you have to remember Tabernacles are made only for God God told Noah build yourself an ark God didn't tell Noah to build him an art God wasn't sinking honey you were drowning I the arcus for you but the tabernacle is for God and God alone and so now we see that God says I am going to have you build this tabernacle where I am going to be pleased to come into your service every day we tried to be so ecumenical and we try to tell people oh gods and everybody's Church the devil don't even want to go to some people's churches no he's not everywhere you have to understand ladies and gentlemen that you have to please God you have to please God I tell LaRon my chief mentor and others ISM that the choir at home I'm developing you into a worship fire rather than just a performing choir three flips to split set hey now if I come to see you I want to see you I don't have any problem with it but that's not what I'm looking for in a Sunday worship service I don't even want to see you I I want you to woo the heart of God where God can come in this place and you know I appreciate that I do I appreciate it where we said we're going to sing this song so we can make it easier for the preacher and we're going to change the atmosphere so that we can make preaching easy I want you to sing so that preaching won't even be necessary that you bring in God's presence that it won't even be necessary so ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters them what you see here is God saying I promise I am going to rebuild this Tabernacle up how now are you going to do it well we're going to have to get people that God has revealed himself and invested himself and so now that brings us to understand that God wants to deal with the apostolate Church now do not get confuse them the apostolate Church is not the denominational Church as I said the apostolate Church M is the Church of today it has to be strong to usher in the kingdom the kingdom cannot come if the church is weak that the kingdom does not have the authority to baptize you in Jesus name and you receive the Holy Ghost the church has that authority the kingdom does not have authority to just say oh let's three of us get together and we'll go buy some grape juice or whatever your proclivity is or wine will pray over and we three will have communion God said that's not so the church has to have that authority but it's the Apostles taluk Church now not the denomination and ladies and gentlemen Apostoli never refer to a denomination I'm you see churches were named four times not just City the Church of Sardis it was a time the Church of Thyatira it was a time if you check the seven churches out on the seven golden candlesticks each represented a period in time the same is true as ooza we had the Holiness Church we had the Methodist Church where God moved in great revivals we had the Pentecostal church now the church age is that masala cup apostolic means that you are a delegate to go into new territory and to conquer those territories for the Lord Jesus Christ apostolic is not a word ladies and gentlemen that they use in the Old Testament it was a military word it was where you set out to battle up and you set out to conquer if you examine today yeah men and women are writing all books about the Apostolic Church and you'll pick it up and say yeah but not our denomination they understand of the apostolic time that we are in right now and so now we come to see that God wants us to do the work for him now how can we do it we have to find men and women who know him we have to find men and women who have been called by him and a sign for this word so it brings us to Pentecost the Lord now sends down the Spirit when when the day of Pentecost was what fully come it had been on the way but it had not fully come yet but when it fully came that's time then God showed up I'm suggesting to you we have hit one of those times now in eight eight eight you cannot go out of here tonight acting the same way you act when you came here you're moving into a new time Pentecost is not a denomination of Pentecost is not a religion Pentecost is not even an event Pentecost is a time it's a time the word Penta Casa comes from the Greek word and a costae which means 50 of them and 50 of them refers to the 50th day how do you get there God says count seven weeks how many days are in one week seven days in a week count seven weeks so seven times seven years 49 now he says the next day is Pentecost after you have finished seven weeks then the next week is called the eighth week so now Pentecost started on the eighth week that's how we call it a time a new beginning but God said there's a hit once in a millennium I I'm going to set you up that the Pentecostalism ease of the world convention I will be in Dallas Texas so that anybody who doubted me will know that I am with them ladies and gentlemen I now you have heard about time even this week if you then you ever heard about Kairos time I will not take you back there if you are all you've heard about I will not take you back there then you know about real time that's actual time but what I'm trying to tell you tonight there's another time it's called next time next time you don't have to learn how to live in next time now it will confuse you up because the Lord said them there are only really two times up how is that possible one we live normally in three dimensions of time we live in the past we live in the present and we live in the future but God said that there's actually only two times he said there see time seedtime and harvest that then would mean them we know that see time is the past but now it would then mean that harvest has to be the present and the future and let's see if you can understand it this way there is yesterday then there is today then there is tomorrow yesterday today and tomorrow yesterday is the time but now ladies and gentlemen ah what is really tomorrow tomorrow actually is the day after yesterday yeah the day after yesterday is tomorrow ah somebody said what are you gonna do it today today is tomorrow if you can if you're in today yeah it means you have lived out your yesterday yeah and you got to tomorrow up you just don't know what to do with it so here ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters and it brings us to Ezekiel he comes to Ezekiel and he says to him I know that you are captive in Babylon and I know that you don't believe that I am the Lord your God you're still trying to figure out them why I didn't answer your prayer and not let you be captive that you're still trying to figure out them when you prayed and asked me Lord don't let my mother died and she died ah he said you're still trying to figure out why I allowed you to go through so many things up high he's an easy cure I want to use you but I gotta get you ready um he said none of the people have sinned and I want to use you and Ezekiel said he started out he said you got the right one I'm I'm gonna preach to them how low down they are how dirty they are and how still today are I'm going to tell them what they should do and shouldn't have done it he said Oh Ezekiel you're not ready so the Bible says he took Ezekiel and sat him where the people said he took Ezekiel said oh you need to experience what some of these Saints are going through that you trying to preach at ah you need to sit in their seat and have some of the same problems that they have had so he said he picked him up and had him sit in the seat where the people sat experiencing the same hardships of experiencing the heaviness and he sat there for seven days let's fast forward the story he then brings his olam he said I got another lesson for you come follow me here in a graveyard he took him in a graveyard and they had bones all up pot said the meat been eaten off by the vultures and all of these bones laying in a graveyard he sees a tombstone not dare that this one I was a good man this one I died in an automobile accident and he sees all of these bones in this graveyard and then God asked them a question son of man can these bones live that he calls them bones can these bones live ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters you remember when God created he brought her and Adam said this is bone of my bone he says you got it bone of my bone ladies and gentlemen the Lord wants to know son of man can these bones live I can't talk about any other graveyard but this graveyard here this one these bones right here can they live the Bible said they were parched and they were very dry he says son a man just answer me I can these bones live and son of man Ezekiel said Lord thou knowest that he said the only way they can live is if you have a preacher and if the preacher know not to just deal with temporary problems ladies and gentlemen the thing you've been through was just a temporary situation and you don't need to focus on your situation you need to focus on your revelation you've got to see who you are God said I created you and now I have died for you God didn't die for anybody else there's no sense I know they're going to Mars but there's no sense of me going up to Mars on these other planets I know that they're taking flights to the moon that there's no need for me to go up because I don't know how to preach to Martians I don't know what Bible to use because I don't have any scripture where God died for anybody on Mars and to take this scripture for God so loved the world and to use it on Mars would do violence to the scripture and God died for Earthlings up he died for us I don't know how he's gonna say the Martians I that's not my call my assignment is on earth and so ladies and gentlemen he said come on in this graveyard this is yours here son of man can these bones live Oh Lord what bones up are you talking about them when you asked me can these bones live he said yes I want to talk to you about dead bones I can the bones of your past live son of man can these bones live but what bones Lord the bones of your vision that died on you the bones of the church that died on you the bones of your marriage that died on you the bones of your desire you said I don't even have a desire anymore to go to that church they have hurt me so badly son of man can these bones live up I want you to work with the bones in this graveyard and so he said thou knowest Lord I really don't know he said only you know whether or not these bones can live out he said well prophesy to them he prophesized to the bones and something very interesting that happens up the Bible says I'm Sorey prophesied as he was come man and breath came into them and they lived and stood upon their feet as an exceeding great army do you have a revelation the graveyard that he was taken to was the generals of the church was the sergeants and the intercessors of the church was the great warrior of the church and now we see him this graveyard was filled with people who are on the battlefield for their Lord and got slaughtered on the battlefield the graveyard was filled with saints of the past who had given their all and got in trouble but had nobody to cover them like John Wayne had that's how come John Wayne could keep living when John Wayne got ready to go down the hill ah the Saints will send you out on the front line and when you get shot leave you there for dead ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters you cannot expect them the Saints to be on the front line of the battlefield and then get shot at and wounded and they have nobody to pick them up and so they died they died because they were wounded with no team to deliver their line they died because somebody didn't understand them but rather criticized them they died because somebody wasn't there to cover him they died because they believe that bodies lie that was told on them they diner because they really didn't know who God was talking to they never knew who they were all they knew is that I have failed and come short of the glory of God but they were probably in a church shop that did not give you the other side of the coin that there's Christ in the midst of a mess I and there's God in the midst of your struggle so what God told me today is that some of you have been buried and you have been buried yes and sometimes by your heart headed meza you have been buried I yes sometimes because you would not listen that I'm not interested in knowing how you died i my assignment that it should get you out of the grave I got say that son of man can these bones live the one you said has gone too far the one you said will never have a chance son of man and these bones live the one that has not yet had the chance to get to the altar and speak in tongues ah son of man can these bones live no one who haven't been to the water yet I just want a share can these bones of me life give me your impossible situation ah and then let me handle it get your hands off of it and let me handle that so God told me to tell you today you gotta come up out of that grave you already been buried and you got mad with God mad with everybody else mad with yourself huh kicking yourself up you got mad at the people that came to your funeral and there you saw them I said he was such a wonderful man and they're the one that put the dagger in your back your man the world around you but is there anything too hard for God I can resurrect this same guy resurrect what Bishop I resurrect the original you do you know who you are there's somebody next to you do you know who you are you've got to see here that you more than you ever dreamed to be you more than you ever thought to be yeah you are the very image of God and the only reason I you are under taka is because of what you carry I why yes the reason that you have been is not because of your past that's where the devil is tricking the church the devil doesn't fight you because of your past he bites you because of your future he's afraid if you ever get there you won't be awesome he's afraid if you ever get over yourself did you hear what I said that somebody has got to get over yourself you hear somebody say over my dead body it's time for you to step over your dead body I and go for God in the name of the Lord Jesus God said I tell them son of man tell them that I am the Lord their God and tell them that I'm coming back again somebody told you that you have not a chance somebody said to you you blue attack somebody said to you you messed up for a lifetime man that would be true if there wasn't a preacher who knows how to tell you God say that you getting up out of here I need you to shake the person that see you and tell them you getting up out of here I might not know yeah I don't know what you been through I don't know how yourself like that I don't know who lied on yeah I don't know why you play there that I don't know who came to your funeral I don't know why they bury you I don't know why they criticize you but all I know to be a grace naturally I'm coming to get your party I'm coming to you because the anointing is on you great God somebody still complaining but they always attacking me ACK ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters I'm on a football team man they will all be there they will one day that they were all charged the quarterback everybody on that line that they come and they Russia the quarterback and they rushing him not because he's the quarterback that's not it all in the one side he gets the ball off and he throws to that and the people that were rushing him stop in their tracks and turn and rush the next one who are they after the man with the ball tell somebody I you got the ball that's what this is all about you got it time that's what it's all about you got it in your community you have it in your neighborhood you have it on your job that God is saying to you you're coming up out of the grave it's time for you to be revived it's not time for you to play dead God brought you out let them visit your grave but it's empty give you a tombstone but it's empty here because God brought you out he has enough blood to wash away your sins that [Music] will get you up out and get you on your way and so a man can be apostolate churchly son of man can the pinnacle of the worldly shut a man can my church leave aside to it just reach to it hallelujah glory
