everlasting to everlasting thou art the god of all creations i come today again lord on behalf of these names that you've dropped in our spirit i thank you lord for each one of them for that family their sons and their daughters oh lord i thank you for every member of every church of every pastor and every deacon up i bring them to you lord for i know you said my yoke is easy and my burdens are lighter you told us to catch our cares on you because you care for us and so lord here we are somebody's down up somebody's shaking their body the doctor came by somebody's bedside after their operation up and gave them bad news and i know [Applause] so i thank you right now in advance in the name of jesus somebody lord god right now that have their face turned to the wall they're at a point in their lines up they don't know what they're gonna do look like everything is just going down for them ah they need money for bills they need money for food and for that children but jesus god somebody need mercy somebody need a healing somebody need a door open somebody need financing you can do it lord somebody right now that's going through seemed like everything that they touch my god look like her the enemy is turning it for bad but father i'm asking you right now to speak to the hearts of these that are viewing this service god that young lady that the doctors have done all that they could do a dead young lady with cancer in her body jesus jesus have mercy lord catch this girl up touching this girl lord any lord touch your lord touch your body nutrition touch [Music] touch their buddies in the name of jesus i know what the doctor they'll sing i know i know i know that they're saying that there's no more hope but i hope it's in you my hope is built on nothing [Applause] holy o jesus name so lord i give them to you i give their problems to you i give that sickness to you i give that sorrow to you i give that deliverance to you in jesus name let an angel up count down around their bedside somebody in a hospital room let that angel go there and camp around that bedside in jesus name speak healing lord speak deliverance lord you know how much we can bear you know our groanings up you know all about us oh jesus and jesus [Music] we won't ever forget to tell everybody what you've done for us how you picked us up and turned us around and put our feet in the heart hold on solid foundation jesus we give you all of the glory we give you all of the praise what's in thy holy and righteous name i call it and count it as done [Music] let the church say amen i said let the church say amen hallelujah andy [Music] the old [Music] i need thee and you know i realize right now that somebody is hooked up to machines in hospital rooms somebody really need you [Music] i'm sending healing your way we bind a strong man get out of that house get out of that get out of that in the name of jesus in the name of jesus in the name of jesus [Music] i come to [Music] glory be to god to me [Music] it is my prayer that you're enjoying this service glory be to god have you called mom and dad and sisters and brothers even in other countries even in hawaii all over the world this gospel goes into homes and institutions and i just want to make sure that they are reachable hallelujah and so we send this one hour with pastor shirley what caesar williams your way and i believe god i believe that god is going to do exceedingly and abundantly and above in everything that we would ever dare to ask or think i want to thank those of you who have been partnering with us amen you've been such a blessing somebody passed me my handkerchief but you've been such a blessing and so i give god glory and i'm so thankful uh to you there's so many one of the things that i'm desirous of the lord to do for the kingdom the lord is blessed mount calvary word of faith with 53 and a half acres of land in fact our church is sitting on ten of those acres and i'd like to i'd like to thank you but i'd like to build calvary's city i was watching one of the programs and uh one of the televangelists they are they're getting ready to build something and you know what the monies are coming in to them like 40 going north and those of you that know my life i'd like to do this in my lifetime before i close my eyes uh because this calvary city we're gonna do it on that lot that we have when we were doing our uh conference downtown at the uh convention center uh we were paying something like 5 000 a night plus 100 000 for insurance or maybe more than that and i asked the lord i said lord you can give us a church and uh every time we came upon some land when they found out that it was me uh the land one acre would move from twelve thousand five hundred to a hundred thousand dollars for one acre and so we had a member in our church who was a realtor and somehow another we were able to get all of that land for twelve thousand five hundred dollars an acre because they did not know they just uh they just upped the price because of me but there are so many wonderful things i want to do i want to do it in my lifetime glory to god and and uh i'm gonna be telling you more about that as the weeks come so those of you who will will you just continue to partner with me and partner with mount calavery word of faith church i gave my heart to the lord when i was 12 years old i don't know nothing about drinking and smoking and dipping and all of that all i know is jesus i didn't even go to my junior senior prom hallelujah because my life has been totally sold out for the glory of god and it is my prayer that as you say yes to the will of god that um mean it with all of your heart that's all i can tell you when you say yes to the will of god mean it with all of your heart and watch god bless i took care of my semi-invalid mother from the time that i was 12 years old just from singing hallelujah didn't didn't mistreat anybody didn't walk on anybody didn't do any any of that ugly stuff but god just put songs in my heart and uh amen and and and i tithed and i sent my money home from chicago to be a blessing to my mother i need you those of you who will just daddy damn sister and brother them last sunday we talked about let not your heart be troubled this sunday today i want to talk to some of you that have been so busy living for your family members and living for everybody else that you have not thought about living yourself i want to tell you [Music] i command you to go to living i command you you my brother you my sister you haven't even been out of rather haven't even been out of durham or wherever you're from ah but honey after this is over at the corvette goes back to the pit i want you to plan to go on vacation get ready get ready get ready get get ready [Music] get ready to live you've been living for everybody else i want to talk about i command you to live and i have [Music] my text i want to read some of the text to you from the gospel the last week i was in the 14th chapter but this week i'm in the 11th chapter of change on uh i'm just going to just jump around if you don't mind because chapter 11 is going to deal with the death and the resurrection of lazarus okay and it reads now a certain man was sick named lazarus then i'm gonna move up to the fourth verse when jesus heard that that he was sick he said this sickness is not unto death and then i'm going to jump down to the 11th verse ah these things said he and after that he said unto them our friend lazarus sleepeth but i go that i may awake him out of sleep and then i want you to jump over to the 42nd verse jesus said and i knew that thou heareth me always but because of the people which stand by i said it that they may believe that thou have sent me and my last verse and when he thus had spoken he cried with the loud voice ladder us [Music] come forth i command you to live that's all i want to talk about i command you to stop existing and go to living you've been living for everybody else that doing stuff you know that other folk wanted you to do going to school and you know you didn't even want to uh major in this or that great or in that particular uh uh thing but uh you did it because mama wanted you to do it or daddy want you to do it but throughout scripture god is calling his people to take command of their destinies by learning to command your mornings from the time you wake up in the morning until you retire at night you got to command your day with authority and that's exactly what command means it simply means to order with authority it means to take charge it means to lead it means to guide and listen and to dominate glory to god stop letting everybody else rule your life can i get a witness i'm simply trying to tell you don't allow your day to get the best of you by not commanding the best from your day in other words take command of your very thoughts and your words and your time do that so that you will be in a position you all glory to god to take command of your destiny god wants us to live beyond limits but the bible says in the book of luke that if all the things that jesus had done had been recorded that the world would not even be able to contain them in books and that's a lot of activity you all which lets us know that all of the wonderful stories that's in the new testament have been given to us in order that we may know who god really is [Music] there were many other stories you all that could have been included but this particular one in my text was selected is that all right a very familiar one might i add and i just believe that god gives us one day at a time and i want to encourage you today to take advantage of your day don't end up being a victim you need to call the shots and change your destiny you must be proactive yes i know daddy wanted you to be a fireman but no you be whatever you want to be you decide okay god has given us the promise that whatsoever you declare in the name of jesus glory to god that it should be no doubt in your mind that god wants to bless and prosper your way he wants us to succeed and not fail so always remember this beloved those of you who come to the lord the bible said must believe so now how many of you really believe that if you're going to come to the lord you've got to believe that he is that he is a reward of those that diligently seek him so let's look with me at this story that comes forth out of my text it deals with mary martha and the brother lazarus but it also deals with his life his sickness his struggles and ultimately his resurrection so so jesus came to the tomb of lazarus yes surrounded by skeptics and unbelievers and he said father you know i know that thou heres me but but but but for the benefit of them who don't believe i'm going to call lazarus and the bible says he called him out loud lovers the bible said he came forth out of the grave holy listen he came forth out of the grave understand this that jesus was not surrounded by a bunch of church folk y'all uh people who were praying and interceding and had their olive oil and their little prayer shawls no no no no no he was not surrounded by adults speaking in tongues folks but he was surrounded by opposition he was surrounded by criticism but his faith still worked that's a good thing you all because anybody who can have faith on sunday morning that's good but let me tell you something when you're surrounded by great choirs that uh great musicians and singers and preaching then that's another thing but where our faith really has to be activated it's not within the confines of the church no no no no no but it is when you uh leave the shelter of the church and go out into the workplace go into the community that's surrounded by people who not only don't even believe in god but a lot of times they don't even believe in you whether you want to believe it or not and so it's easy to minister to a crowd of people who support you please believe me i know that it's easy when they enjoy you but it is so difficult to give a sermon or speech when you are surrounded by critics and skeptics and enemies who isolate you and have preconceived ideas about you but understand this preachers we're going to be effective in the kingdom of god we cannot stay in the comfort zone of cheerleaders and fans but we have to go into the rough uh terrains of the projects where they are gangs and still declare that jesus is lord please believe me every lay member that you're all right when you're in the confines of the church around praying members and the entire church but the time is going to come when you will have to leave your spiritual surroundings and you're going to be cast out into the mainstream world to operate your faith in an awkward situation where people do not agree with you or endorse you or support you so if your faith does not operate beyond the four walls of the church you don't have much faith at all then if you have to have a choir or praise team and drummers and musicians and deacons and elders to believe god then you don't have true faith for you see you need faith in the emergency room as you rush your child in for emergency surgery i wished i had a church you need faith when you get a cut-off notice or a disconnect notice or utility bill notice yes you need faith when when you get a pink slip from a job where you've worked there for over 20 years that suddenly you find yourself on the employed so today i got to pre-condition you again because you've been made to believe that faith is proven by the kind of god that you drive of the house that you live in you've been made to believe that if you have a lot of money in the bank if you got uh uh stocks and bonds and and annuities then you have great faith but i want to erase all of that stuff off the chalkboard why tell you that you don't need faith once you have arrived but you're going to need faith while you're struggling you're trying to get what god wants you to be that's when you're going to need faith the 11th chapter of hebrews began to teach us about faith uh it doesn't choose the best situation no no no no no but it chooses the worst situations it talks about mothers not seeing that children raise you from the dead it talks about people glory to god living not in mansions but in caves it talks about uh living in desert places because faith is proven in desert places are you listening to me when you pray and and you said lord increase my faith you're asking him for trouble y'all you may have gotten an answer and didn't even recognize it why because god sometimes answers our prayers with problems when i think of mary and martha i'm amazed at how much time is spent talking about them as opposed to others in the bible watch this blind bodybuilds stood by the wayside crying the bible said that he threw off his coat he he he got healed but that was it we don't know anymore after he got healed god is finished with that story and then he moves on to another story we read about the ten lepers who jesus spoke to brother michael and said go show yourself to the priests and they went they showed themselves and they were healed one came back to tell him thank you but other than that we don't hear nothing else about it then the woman with the issue of blood uh who had spent all of her money on worthless physicians and only uh to grow worse finally juanita she saw jesus passing by she gets all excited she reaches out and touched the hem of his garment she gets healed but we hear nothing else about her but when it comes to mary martha and lazarus we know a lot about them why because we see them before lazarus got sick we see them at a place where jesus stopped by whenever he was in bethany he stayed at their house of all of the places he could have stayed he selected their house so we find that they were given to hospitality especially martha who was always busy going about taking care of all of the needs yet in the midst of all of this we find that they are like most families they have issues we have issues mother's sitting down at jesus feet being spiritual and mary is saying what's up with this girl she needs to be up here getting some work done and so these these these [Music] these two sisters disagree a lot how many of you know that just because you got the same mama you got the same daddy it does not mean that you agree about everything just because you belong to the same church it doesn't mean that you're going to agree about everything and and and so the bible says it shows us that yes mary martha and lazarus had faith they had worship she cried at his feet they had all of that yet they had conflict and although jesus visited them many times yet a sickness the bible says arose and this is very important y'all for you see just because uh they've done things to help the lord entertain him amen they kept him at their house it did not mean that they were exempt from trouble you all don't let anybody tell you that if you have great faith then you'll have no trouble the devil is alive if you have great faith you will know that you have it you hear what i'm saying by the trouble you go through because trouble will come the canvas that you uh that your faith is painted on is gonna come you will never be a victor if you're always running from conflict but you gotta be prepared to go into the fight and fight the good fight of faith life is a fight i said life is a flight a fight rather so you see mary and martha and lazarus glory to god here they are now and we watch them go through normalcy we watch them go into conflict lazarus is now sick and they can no longer wait on jesus to show up they had already sent a distress call to him saying jesus you need to come so our brother ladder us is sick but watch this jesus did not come you all because because uh i i know people think that uh uh i can do it but i just cannot go every time people call me i wish they had i just can't do it people want you to go everywhere hallelujah i get all kinds of calls come and sing at my funeral come and do this come and do that but uh we are limited we just cannot do it when i read this uh story jesus didn't show up and uh it gives me grace when my answers are no i cannot come if he hasn't what about jesus i know i can't be there for everybody sometimes i got to say something like no i got to rest sometimes jesus disappointed these people he didn't come he didn't call and it's kind of odd because jesus could have just appeared he didn't have to wait on the next camel he could have just shazamed himself right into the room what do we do with situations that break out in our lives that god could have fixed them but did not fix it what does that affect in fact how does it affect our faith in god when he doesn't get us out of trouble but allows us to go through trouble by the way i'm not interested in your praising god when the blessing comes but i want to know can you praise the lord when the blessing doesn't come anybody can shout and rejoice when god shows up in the nick of time but what do you do when god does not show up in time at all i want to hear some testimonies now about that because i hear a lot of testimonies saying we prayed and we believed we had a foreclosure on the fifth and on the night of the fourth the lord came through i don't need to hear about that i know how to act when the lord comes through but i need somebody to tell me what do you do when it was the seventh hour and he did not come through and you got the eviction notice anyhow and you had to move out can you help faith when when what you expect to happen just does not happen i'm gonna sit down can you believe god i said can you believe god hallelujah when it seems like nothing is happening right and look like you got public embarrassment when you help help everybody else through that crisis and now that you're in trouble you don't have anybody to stand with you can i talk a little while listen the bible says what you need to do is say though he slay me yet yet will i trust him don't put your faith in your own legs oh in your diamonds faith is bigger than that i know god heard me pray and sooner or later understand he's gonna vindicate you and bring you out hallelujah i've come this far by faith leaning on the lord not my feelings not by friends but by faith hallelujah my faith is just as relevant today as it has ever been in my life you can have my coat take my house take my car but don't take my faith because all of that i got through my faith and a lot of people mary and martha hallelujah we see them religious people understand that even though they were religious pain is still pain looting everything is still pain these people were in pain yes they were they sit around after jesus he got the message but he didn't come hallelujah things got worse hallelujah let me tell you something it came down to the final hour hallelujah you've got to come to your limit hallelujah listen let that enemy know i'm down at my limit it can be your child let me tell you something when you get to your limit that's your limit but you've taken me to my limits what do you do then when life have taken you to your limit what do you do when you've lost one thing after another what do you do you're crying lord i can't take it anymore i've lost everything what am i going to do now i have nothing left glory to god that you all have prayed hallelujah and looked like the prayer what that answered i come today to tell you i hear the lord saying give it to me hallelujah i know you're going through hallelujah hallelujah and listen you're going through and the enemy is saying well uh you don't trust me know how and i hear you're saying hold up i hear you saying i'm gonna trust in the lord until i die till i die i'm going to trust in the lord i'm going to trust in the lord i'm going to trust until i die when you get to that place when god touches your body pick you up turn you around get rid of that cancer and take all of that other stuff out of your body you'll find yourself hallelujah swaying up the power of god hallelujah so much so until you won't even be able to find your hair piece your eyeglasses are lost come on somebody else you find yourself not even knowing where your pocketbook is let me tell you something but god is getting ready to stretch you beyond your limitations yes i know you're going through things you thought you couldn't go through and you're going through it anyhow you thought you could not make it and you're going to look back at it and say if i had not been if it had not been for the lord on my side i don't know let me give you a word from the lord jeremiah 29 and 11 says to us anybody that's going through your spiritual katrinas your coroners he said i know the thoughts that i think told you thoughts of peace and out of evil to give you an expected hear then god told me to tell somebody i know you're tired of carrying your load and you're so beaten up by life but god told me to tell you in the 12th chapter and the 29th verse of jeremiah then shall ye call upon me and you shall go and pray unto me and i'll honk it unto you and you shall seek me ye shall find me when you shall search for me with all of your heart my brothers and my sisters just know this that god wants us to live i command you to live not just exist but live god toucher of abundance and not lack he wants you to live large and bring you into a good life can i talk a little while longer i've got a prophecy for you god said i want you to be well and prosper i want you to mature in wisdom and authority and supernatural ability so that you can bear witness to the splendor of his kingdom and and this is what i hear from the lord your miracle exists right now jesus was preparing for his final entry into jerusalem he called for a donkey to be brought to him but know this the doggy stay tied up until jesus called for it likewise the thing you need already be waiting for you right now but you don't see it yet why because you have not called out for it so come on and think large look at your destiny whatever binds you whatever loosens you god's i'm gonna lose it i'm gonna bind it yes i am so i will do to you what god said so come on and live tell yourself that this too shall pass i'm gonna live i'm gonna live i'm gonna live and not die to declare the works of the lord live in the midst of confusion live when everybody hates you i command you to live square your shoulder and tell em it's my time i'm gonna live while i can but when you die you're gonna be dead a long time i command you to live i command you to get up get up off that seat and do nothing and cut listen tell yourself i'm gonna live i've been i've been trying to live god said now it's time to stop trying and live get up [Music] god said live come on in here tell yourself i'm stepping out off and i'm stepping in too so i come to tell you i commend you to live you've been existing uh-uh god wants you to live like i've said one sunday you've been asking god for a house [Music] you know what i want you to do i want you to see yourself standing over your cook stove cooking your own house i command you to live houses upon a thousand hills belong to him you got one live live live hallelujah it shall come in our time i command you to stop just existing stop living for everybody else and go to living for yourself hallelujah it's according to his word hallelujah all you got to do is live live live live in the name of jesus i don't know how you feel right now in your body [Music] but i want to tell you i double dare you [Music] to tell yourself after corbin i'm going to live all of our cna workers all of our doctors and our lawyers all of our surgeons god told me to tell you liv how pastor i'm doing this i'm doing that well after this and that is over i command you to live look to jesus christ [Music] it's recording to his words [Music] [Music] good living [Music] i command you to live the rich are not people only ones who can drive nice cars god got one for you [Music] i don't know when i don't know where but when god called your name in prayer [Music] get ready [Music] get ready to go to living [Music] i grew up in obscurity we didn't have a whole lot of anything but let me tell you something i told the lord i said lord before my mama passes i want to buy a house and you know after i left the caravans i came out of the caravans moved from chicago back home and i bought my mama house and i come to tell you young man young woman when you honor your father when you honor your mother god said i'm gonna stretch out your days i'll let you live a long time so i come today to tell you when you talk ugly to her and i'm not here to tell you that she's perfect [Music] oh yeah i don't know of anybody that's perfect my mama your mother nobody but i tell you what i'm on my way to heaven i'm enjoying my trip [Music] [Music] and getting back to what i was saying if you treat mama right god bless you [Music] all my brothers and sisters are gone but me and i believe that a lot of that [Music] because i not only took care of my mama i took care of my family [Music] that's what i come to tell you [Music] treat her good treat him good sons if your daddy was like my daddy you jump up in this chest thinking that you're going to be all right dad said i brought you in this world and i'll take you out so i don't remember him that much but i remember cleo julius leroy at solomon and those old folk didn't play back then they didn't beat clothes uh we had to take our clothes off and my daddy beat naked butt and mama did too so treat her good and you'll live a long time i command you to go to living now you can start living even now even though corbett is here that's some wonderful things that you can do but after covering 19 leaves go on a
