Big Bus stuck on Beach at Lake Powell!

[Music] so we got a call for some sort of a bus RV the stuck in the sand at Lone Rock Beach at Lake Powell so after talking to them on the phone it looks like we can get them with the hook truck so we're headed out there and our 2001 or 2002 over here this is our weapon of choice today is a 2002 Chevy 6500 it's one smooth ride so we got about 20 miles out of town he's actually got another job out in the area that if we can get to it that we can go do for him this gets much steeper I don't think ragged edge of what I'm going to do with this truck so there's some rock into that turn around there is I can get turned around right here okay we can winch him if we have to all right how's it going [Music] right yep [Music] don't know what my plan is get up enough speed go back down I'm hoping I think I got one shop get out of here that's not retiring that truck and throwing some cable it's gonna be close about 200 feet again it's gonna be cables less chain [Music] [Music] [Music] probably gonna get some questions this is a two wheel drive vehicle and we're letting air out of the front tires the reason that is is for flotation so there's less resistance rolling a low tire over the top of the sand than rolling and a fully inflated tire through the sand well we're down here deeper than we were right so I've got to go down turn around and angle up okay you're not gonna try to make that corny hope [Music] [Music] [Music] we made a big mistake gonna know in a minute I don't think I can climb that hill if I back all the way down so I've got it bounce through that get on this rock we do have good Rock you little gravelly a little bit loosen up we're not gonna see it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] some of you might say that I took an unnecessary risk and I am incomplete agreeance with you 100% I am you were right but we got it we got him on his way and now on to [Music] some sort of bus in the sand right up here you can see Lone Rock out there we're going to Long Rock Beach so it's just up the road just a little ways anybody have any commentary on that did you think we were spending the night I thought we're spending the nooses do you get a seen me looking for places to turn the vehicles around I was like got to be someplace the difference between the best option to turn around and the second-best option to turn around was so far apart I don't think we can a bridge the gap we're getting to the end of where I'm going to drive this nobody can answer well there it is it is that thing job Tim let's do a little walk around this is I'm stuck like if my jacks were working I would have thrown stuff underneath it get out 1963 Silver Eagle was converted in 1998 got 34,000 miles on it and it's stuck [Music] no I think I want to film the tires what a miserable place to camp give me a lake with trees and grass where it's so cold you got to put a jacket on at night she said it was beautiful until we showed up so we got there on that one and there were a little farther from hardpack than they said but we were able to get them we used a couple of lengths of the yankem ropes they're rated at 30,000 pounds so that's over double what the Lynx is rated out right when we got there the wind circle [Music]

My thoughts are why did the guy in the Jeep not wear any shoes?
