Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Audit videos are all well and good, and have their place, but this is the kind of thing I imagined this sub being about. Citizens understanding and exercising their rights in everyday situations.
That first cop is what we normally see here, the 2nd cop was what we all want. Crazy to see to such opposite mentalities from the same department.
Waiting on the fringe of this sub to call this guy a bootlicking statist for daring to show support for law enforcement...
The cop at the station was great. He's the kind of police rich people get.
If you can afford the lambo you can afford to go to court.
(a) The following persons may operate a motor vehicle in this state without obtaining a driverβs license under this code:
(1) A nonresident over the age of 18 years having in his or her immediate possession a valid driverβs license issued by a foreign jurisdiction of which he or she is a resident...

Additionally, California doesn't recognize international driving permits because you don't need one. This guy is just making things up.
And If I'm seeing this right he didn't even cite for the stop sign which was his reason for the stop. Exhaust seemed like an after thought after he realized there was a dash cam to disprove his original reason.
So take all that lambo money and hire a good lawyer that will spank these clowns all the way to trial.
"I just want him to not do stupid stuff."
Dude.. that's pretty naive. Most likely, this cop won't even have to acknowledge what he did was wrong, much less have it explained to him why he was wrong, or even if it is.. he wouldn't care and the next time he pulls over a Canadian driver.. he'll do this exact same thing again.
I ALMOST FORGOT, LAMBORGHINI IS FROM ITALY AND CAPSLOCK IS REQUIRED BY THE LAW.
Here's how the conversation with with dip-shit cop and the LT (or whatever) went:
LT: "Dude, did you really ticket this guy in a Lamborghini for not having a CA license and loud exhaust? He doesn't have to have a valid CA license."
DS: "Yea, I know. He was driving a Lambo and I just felt like fucking with him. I know the charges won't stick."
LT: "Well he came in here and filed a complaint against you."
DS: "So what? That and a dollar will get you a doughnut."
LT: "Yea, true."
I guess the cop learned the difference between a guy in a Lambo and a teen in a Honda. I bet every teen reminds him any chance they get. lol
