ngl i also nearly forgot about the xt series
I'm a competitive RDR2 player who can't afford a videocard other than a GT710. I have an unlimited CPU budget, what CPU should I get?
Intel: i9-10900K is the Best Gaming CPU!!!1
1: for Red Dead Redemption 2 with Dx12 at 1080p Medium Settings
My Β£100 ryzen 3500x from china is still value king then. Not sure if ill ever even need to upgrade cpu again if i moved to 4k monitor, what is the point then?
Really really weird for them to call the 10400 the most dissapointing.
The 10400f is faster than the 3600, it's significantly cheaper atm (50 euros cheaper), it isn't reliant on 3600mhz cl16 ram to get its full performance (saving another 20 euros on ram).
There is literally no better performance/price cpu at the 150-200 euro price range than the 10400f.
Locking down XMP to z490 motherboards is incredibly trashy of intel, but it doesn't change the value proposition compared to the 3600 in this case, as the 3600 gains negligable performance from ocing and b550 motherboards are expensive
The main advantage in going for amd at that price point atm is that you still retain the option to upgrade to a 5700x or something whenever that comes out eventually
Is the r3 3300x even still being produced???
I haven't seen that one stocks since at least July lmao
I want to upgrade to 5900x. I'm just waiting for it to come in stock... My 3600 is fine, but seems limiting when you playing CPU heavy games. Like playing poorly optimized games like Assassins' creed where get minor dips in city areas or places which feel caused by by CPU. My GPU is already max out with a 6800xt...
I would upgrade my cpu but don't feel like changing the whole MB
There should really be a solution for this
