[Music] come on let's give this this music team my hand come on this guy the greatest thing about worship it's not when they sing but when you participate it's we have a worship style called call and response and your response to God is what moves him for without faith that's a response without faith it is impossible to please him I'm sure God is extremely happy that we know he's incredible Matthew chapter 17 beginning at verse 24 Wow Matthew chapter 17 verse 24 [Music] Matthew 17 to 24 I'm trying to hold myself together you know I'm not I'm not gonna push it it means but have you ever have you ever been assured that the presence of the Lord was in the room sometimes you have to either push it a force that I wonder but sometimes you just know that that he's in the room we did all of that praising and all of that worshiping for him to show up and I often everyone smile I asked this question you did all that fine money in it take that and give it to them because it'll be enough for you and me I don't know who I'm talking to but some of y'all got so much coming that is gonna be enough for you and the person next to you [Music] touch the neighbor saw you sitting next to a boss I got you this I got you I got you don't worry about it I got you the enemy is trying to bully you into ordinary today I want to talk about battling the bully it's time you fight back against this Bliley call ordinary and it's time that she punched back because ordinary has been hitting you all of your life you'll get ready to fight back touch somebody on your way down and say battle that bully may be seated in the presence of the Lord by definition a bully is someone or something that uses its power our perspective to intimidate or sway so the bully's prima facie tactic is to bring about the causality of fear because if you operate from a position of fear then you cannot simultaneously operate from a position of faith now what does the Bible say about faith without faith it is what impossible to please God which means that my shout has to be faithful that my giving has to come from a position of faith everything that I do has to have the adjective of faith to precede the action so that whatever I'm doing can please God now all of us have been bullied in some way some shape some fashion by something stronger than this you know a habit is a bully because a habit has the tendency to make you do things and you're not even conscious of it you just kind of fall into it there are certain things that we a privy to that that we don't really like Paul said it this way the good I want to do I wish I could but I got this bully call evil that's present on every hand and and it's perplexing because when I want to do good I don't and that I don't do I want to do because I'm always bullied by my perceptions my past my realities she's got these things that try to intimidate me and and to get my perspective off kilter and off off stability so that I will make decisions that will continue to present the reality that I am afraid to be bold enough to stand up to that which is hindering me and everybody in here has an area where you're not so disciplined everybody in here has an area now I know I know you're not gonna tell you that search and that's fine because we really don't need to know your business but and I'm not asking you to confess your sin because the Bible says confess your sin to God but he does say confess your faults one to another so without being specific you don't have to tell me what it is you just have to tell me that it is and the truth is is everybody in here has some area of your life where you're not as strong as you want to be can I just get an amen on that isn't that why we're here today seeking God's strength to make sure that we can fight these bullies back because let me tell you Goliath will always thinks he can be David Goliath always thinks he can beat David because he's bigger because his armor is better because he is trained because he has some bodies under his belt he's got all of these things but there's a problem that it doesn't matter what you have done what matters is that if I'm anointed to do something then when you meet me your wins don't matter does that make sense so it doesn't matter how many people the enemy has beat how many he has caused to fail what only matters is is that whatever tactics he's using he loses the moment he meets you in the area you've been anointed to win that's why you have to operate in your anointing everybody say operator you anointing you have to operate in your anointing you have to operate in the area of your strength and let God handle your weaknesses now I know people going to say oh my god what does that mean I'm not saying don't become stronger I'm saying that the blood of Jesus is the propitiation for those weaknesses and if you keep letting the bully make you walk in shame and rejection then you're never going to be able to operate into what God calls you to do because God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power love and of a sound mind so that means that even when you're powerless you still have power that means when you're weak you can still win because you're going to operate in the strength of the one that sent you do I have a church in here today so there is no doubt that when God met Peter he was like you and I Peter was ordinary how do I know Peter owned a fishing business before he ever became a preacher the Bible lets us know that every time we see Peter fishing he's always failing one time he goes out Jesus meets him and says hey man can I borrow your boat he says sure you can borrow it cuz I've been out here all night and ain't caught nothing so you can have the boat in you can go out there and use my boat as a pulpit and preach and do whatever you can jesus says that's fine Peter let me use your boat he uses the boat push us out a little bit from the sea shore and says Peter this is what I want you to do because you trust me and because you believe in me and because you won't be bullied this is what I'm gonna do I want you to take the same nets that have been empty and I want you to cast them out of the boat on the right side and then I want you to tell me what happens Peter says Lord I pass that net out on the right side and guess what those nets that kept coming up empty became so full that I couldn't carry them so I had to ask my friends to help me carry them can I just stop and help you right there that's the problem when you hang with ordinary people when you hang with ordinary people you get something you can't carry and they can't help you you need to make sure that you also have some extraordinary prayer warriors some extraordinary biblical scholars I'm not saying they have to be extraordinary and everything but you don't need people in your life that are on the same level on every area you are you need somebody who's better than you so that way if God does gives you something you can't carry they can speak into your life and give you tips on how to handle something can I get help in here today the next time we see and and the Bible lessons know that Peter must be extraordinary because out of all of the miracles that God performs seven of the miracles off of this ordinary man who can't catch no fish don't let anybody tell you that God can't use you because you keep coming up empty don't let anybody tell you that God can't use you because you came from the hood don't let anybody tell you that God can't use you because you don't have the best speech and you don't speak perfect English God can bless somebody who use ain't on the regular come on talk to me somebody got God doesn't care if you got elbows on your car and bulbs and 25 inch rims it doesn't matter if you got a nice little coupe it doesn't matter God can use you no matter wherever you came from no matter what your background is and everybody else who thinks you're a loser God always finds the losers so he can make them a winner so if there's anybody in here right now that's losing in any area of your life that's good because you're a candidate for God to use your boat you're a candidate for God to use your life you're a candidate forgot to step into your situation why everybody has been laughing at you that you have kept coming up empty do me a favor tell your neighbor I'm about to come into a season where I'm no longer going to come up empty now if you believe they're going to put a praise on it [Applause] Peter was ordinary but seven of the miracles that God performs it for him you remember one time he stepped out of the boat and left all the ordinary people in it and he walked on the water and God says Peter come to me and he begins to walk to him and he says is that a ghost but he goes anyway he takes his eyes off of Jesus the Bible says he begins to sink and then he does something that most of us need to do when we sink come out of our pride and say lord save me I know you're going through something right now but a closed mouth don't get fed sometimes you got to open up your mouth and say Lord I don't know what I am doing somebody say lord save me Lord I'm trying to raise these children but I didn't have anybody to show me Lord save me Lord I'm trying to be a good father but I didn't have an example Lord save me Lord I'm trying to balance this checkbook but nobody showed me Lord saved me stop sitting in your prior trying to act like you got everything together and sometimes you need to open up your mouth and say lord I don't know what I'm doing I don't know where I'm going I don't know why I just said that I don't know why I'm mad ain't nobody done nothing mean I know y'all ain't gonna say man but summertime you have a attitude and don't know why sometimes you just round up and don't know why sometimes you just don't feel good and don't know why but you need to open up your mouth and you need to admit that to God and say God I need you to help me cuz this temper is getting me in Conchata this temper is getting me in trouble God my rejection whatever you're dealing with inside sometimes when you're sinking you got to open up your mouth and stop pretending like you're swimming anybody going to help me in this church today so sometimes you got to open up your mouth and say Lord it's not my mother's not my father but it's me Oh Lord standing in the need of prayer anybody know you need God anybody can feel yourself sinking deep in seeing anybody can feel yourself far from the peaceful shore but the greatest thing about God is he doesn't care how far you've gone down his arms are long enough to reach you if you have to bottom and they are long enough to reach you if you get too high somebody just need to stay in the center of his will god I don't know what I'm doing don't know where I'm going don't know why I feel like this but I trust you somebody shout I trust you Oh God Peter was ordinary but he was so blessed that his mother-in-law got sick and because she was related to Peter God Hildur see some of y'all don't know you got so much anointing that people connected to you are gonna be blessed just because they're connected to you do me a favor tell your neighbor you're gonna be blessed because you sit next to me that they believe that I like you I'm telling you God is coming to my house I've been praying all year about my situation and he just revealed to me that he's coming and because you're next to me get ready for overflow can I tell you something if God is blessing your neighbor it means he's in the neighborhood you need to make sure that you sitting next to somebody who looked like they got a little bit of an Oran on their life come on do a Rose survey just look down your road and find do you have any oil do you have any prayer life do you have any anointing because if you do that means God is about to hook us all up matter of fact give your neighbor high-five I'll transfer the anointing I transfer the blessing I transfer the oil on your life I'm not selfish because the gift is gonna come so big I won't have room enough to receive it so all I ask God to break you off as well [Applause] somebody said I'm not stingy I've gone my whole life without I'm gonna share when God blesses me I struggled my whole life matter of fact I've got about 500 people in here and say Lord if you bless me I'll track somebody down to bless them I'll find somebody to bless I'll find somebody to help who do I have I promise you there is at least a hundred of you you got the right mindset you're telling God if you bless me I will find somebody to bless even if they don't ask for it so somebody say God you can use these hands [Music] [Applause] number one the first bullet you're gonna have to battle is the bully of expectation you won't have to battle the bully of expectation whenever you decide to bless people they think you should always have to they think that your role in their lives should stay the same even though your role in their life changes so even if they make you number two they think you should make them number one such your name say baby I don't work like that a real relationship has to have reciprocity aren't you tired of relationships where you keep losing and they keep winning you cannot have a one-way relationship Christ came but you still have to accept it does that make sense so you got a battle the the battle of expectation Jesus is on his way to the cross amidst a controversy and a systematic deformation of propaganda a campaign to make sure that he watch this is not perceived as who he said he is now he Jesus himself said I have come to work the works of the one that sent me I'm the Messiah I am the king and I'm not ordinary and I'm not going to act like it because you are finding trouble accepting it I'm gonna make ordinary decisions I'm gonna ride on the mule that's ordinary but I'm still gonna raise blinded eyes extraordinary there is a difference between presenting ordinary and acting ordinary are you with me so far he says I refuse not to do miracles because you don't believe I refuse not to say what my father said just because it's hard for you to digest I refuse not to walk on water just because you're gonna be scared I refuse to not listen to you to listen to you and not touch a leper or not touch a woman with the issue of blood because your laws say that I should not when you are extraordinary sometimes you have to break traditions when you are extraordinary sometimes you have to shatter rules and do things for the glory of God that people will not understand in fact one of the ways you know you have transferred from ordinary to extraordinary as you confuse people who used to understand you you ought to write that down you need to write that down the way you know you are becoming extraordinary it's now people who used to get you are saying things like I don't get you I don't understand you anymore I don't know why you're doing that why because now I am making my decisions from a different set of criterion because now I recognize Who I am the first bully of expectation is to force you to act in your future the same way you did in your past people only know you by where they met you which is why when Peter stepped out of the boat and saw Jesus he thought it was a ghost why because Jesus showed up in another form and when you show up in a form that people are not used to you they don't recognize you y'all gonna help me in this place today so the bully of expectation is to get you to act the same and here is why because the enemy knows if you'll always act the same then your results will be the same okay so if you want to go forward you got to be extraordinary so everybody say extraordinary so one of the things that proves that Jesus has been downgraded in his perspective in the eyes of the people collecting the tax is because a rabbi was exempt from paying taxes and yet their people acts Peter does your teacher not the teacher our teacher does your teacher pay taxes does your teacher this is really this is really them collecting you know the the church offering because if you remember in the book of Genesis Exodus Leviticus God Institute's the tax and tells Moses to tell the people we're getting ready to build the tabernacle but you're going to have to do it with the offering of the people you said over here we're getting ready to build the tabernacle but the people are going to have to give the offering we're going to have to build the lighthouse but you got to give in order to do it and I'm going to make sure that the temple has gold everything the brazen altar had gold on it the Ark of the Covenant had gold on it everything has to be of upper excellence in the temple cannot understand or can't you help me understand why is it church people that we are okay with everything in the world looking good but don't mind if our churches are raggedy y'all don't have to say man I'm going to be messy for five minutes and I'm gonna move on because the mall you'll mall look good and every time a mall look raggedy you leave it and go to the one that's new whenever a gas station is raggedy you drive past a raggedy gas station and you go to one of the lycée I'm gonna go to one with ain't gonna rob me and people get robbed at new gas stations too but we have a tendency to patronize everything in the world that looks new and looks better but then whenever we raise an offering to improve the church then all of a sudden we get an attitude doing the offering you don't mash out and doing the singing you don't mind shouting doing the praise and worship and then when it's time to take an offer you get an attitude but let me tell you something whatever man souls that study Greek so you keep on playing praise and that's all people don't do is tell you thank you but if you need some money come on holla at your boy if you need something to help you pay your bills if you need something to pay your children through college ah hallelujah don't do that if you won't got to bless you in the area of your finances you're gonna have to bless him in the area of your finances now I don't care if y'all get quiet I don't care if y'all go to sleep I don't care if you get on the internet and say all preachers want is your money that may be what some preachers won't but not this preacher holla at your boy I want you to get blessed so that money is no longer your optional problem so that you don't have to pray about a raise every time you wake up on Monday so that you don't have to cry that you don't have enough bread how many years are you gonna keep coming to church timeout I can't feed my family when the Bible says my God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches and glory it is time for you to get out of the ordinary salary and have an extraordinary salary so not only can you pay your God and pay your bills but guess what learn to pay yourself Oh y'all not gonna hear me in here today snap three people say I'm gonna start paying myself this season not only is my check wrong but my savings account is getting ready to grow and i'ma do that through the sewing machine help me Holy Ghost help me help somebody in here who the devil has got you wrapped up in the ordinary given system up if I pay then I won't be able to pay my bills there's somebody here they will tell you if you pay God if you pay God God will come in there and give you a miracle that you cannot explain is there anybody in here that can give a testimony and say when God got involved somehow everything worked out for my good and if you don't have the testimony that it works is cuz you ain't worked it all my tithe has shot up in this place one of the reasons to give to the church is for the upkeep of it you don't understand how many rolls of toilet paper will you use you don't know how every time we put something in the bathroom y'all take it home and use it all y'all don't want to say man let's say ouch you don't understand that how much it costs to keep the air conditioned on the place where you don't have a hot flash you don't understand how much it takes to have lights and cameras and action and to reach out and have systems where we can you it costs money to have a temple and people think they can walk in and walk out that's like going to a restaurant eating and then leaving without paying the tax every time you come into the house of the Lord you ought to have something offer and you should not get mad when somebody confronts you on it you should get mad that you are confronted has you paid the tax you would not be asked for it now come on somebody if you can't say man just say ouch it is biblical to give it is biblical and the devil has trapped us into ordinary lives because the offering opens up some your praise can't even crack a dough on I guarantee you there are people in here right now that haven't said a man yet but they pay their tithe and God is in the background working stuff out why because the praise don't rebuke the devil the tire does [Applause] oh god help me in this place do me a favor do me a favor some of your neighbors are needing counseling right now do me a favor and rub them on the shoulder and tell them everything's gonna be fine you're gonna be all right okay nobody's mad at Chuck if you're not Tyler you need to start somewhere this come and said Lord I'm not a temple saying yeah but take this five percent til I work up to faith to get there god I got six percent do I take this until I work up the faith I'm not giving you excuse not to do it but I can't you can't tell me that God won't bless somebody who's starting in who's trying God I don't have it to do it all yet but I'm gonna do the best I can this is what the writer says such as I have give out under the God I don't have the whole thing yet but I'm gonna keep on working I'm telling you if you'll trust God with three percent he'll turn it to six percent he'll turn six to twelve somebody in here knows what I'm talking about [Applause] they said Laura G Peter they they got these expectations on me and they want me to pay the tax but what they don't understand is that I am a rabbi if you go to the tax code right now there is something that all ministers who start 501 C 3 s can take advantage of called the rabbi trust the rabbi Trust gives the rabbi the ability to opt out of the Social Security system thereby saying that I'm going to trust me I want to give you out too much information because some of y'all gonna be called to preach for taxes and I don't want that that happening he but but what was what was happening is is that he was so anointed then he no longer fit his previous description when he was younger this tax applied to him but when he came out at 30 and started his miracle mission and expressed to the congregation that he was in fact Emmanuel God with us then his tax bracket changed and he is no longer obligated to pay the temple tax the reason why you're going to have to battle expectations is because when you become anointed to change size you will still be expected to operate where you used to be do you hear what I'm telling you when God lifts you sometimes the memo doesn't get out that you're no longer on the same level it's kind of like you know I bet you when Michael Jordan go to his family house he just they probably got a nickname that don't nobody know about it's like he's a billionaire he's got all that money but when he come in the house he just J or it's like those of you all who work in your house and and you go to work and and you're the boss and you're the supervisor and when you come home your wife say take that trash out I told you to do that before you left y'all see it I'm saying because sometimes you can be on a level that your environment don't recognize okay y'all missing this whole sermon that's why you're going to have to battle the bully of expectations because everybody listen everybody expects you to be the same person they met and the hardest thing in the world is to let them know I'm not who you met tonight can I be transparent for a moment young man one of the the hardest thing for me as a pastor was not us acquiring this building and the truth is is the day that we were supposed to close on this building my only living grandparent died the day we were supposed to move in we had to postpone closing so that I could go back and do the funeral while we were in the title company a month later signing the papers on this building my oldest uncle died at the same time we were coming as good and my wife didn't tell me I was signing the papers and I could see something that changed in her face because my mom had called her and she didn't tell me until after I signed the papers I walked in the building and she said are you excited I said yeah now why were you looking funny at the title company and she said because your uncle died and she said that and we got through it are y'all with me so far that wasn't even the hardest thing the hardest part about passing this church was that people expected me to be the same kind of pastor when we had 10 people that when God had sent thousands I could go to the hospital when it was 50 members I could teach all of the classes when we only had three classes I could I could sing but when God gave us thousands of people if I'm if I'm at the hospital I can't be in the pulpit or yawning gonna say man and see that's why some of y'all don't understand it because you're ordinary thinking whenever you go to the next level people will always try to hold you where they met you but what they don't understand is that the equivalent of the organization growing and me acting the same is what's called death when an organization grows and it splinters and it multiplies then you can no longer pastor it with a person you have to pastor with the system can you imagine me given all y'all my cell phone number and you have an access to me every time you had a problem because you imagine I couldn't live I couldn't I would be I'm already crazy and without being the hardest transition was to let the people know I can't do this the same your expectations of me are unrealistic you can't even handle your entire family by yourself in order to handle your intrusion you need somebody to help you babysit you need daycare you need teachers you need grandparents you need all this stuff to handle three children how could I handle all this I want to church that debt what my pastor knows me will get in ministry and I will how I'm gonna know somebody then show up late leave early and don't do nothing ain't no sense you frowning at me I got a frown - how am I going to know your name will you come late leave early don't do ministry don't serve but then see me the grocer so you don't even know your members no I know my members I don't know my attenders I know all my members [Applause] [Music] you're going to have to battle expectations people don't care they will kill you shut up to the funeral cry go to the funeral eat chicken and green beans put a black on sheet over the chair for 30 days they call another passing yang don't kill me I shall live and not die and you will be strong [Applause] people expect you to give your whole life to the church if I give my whole life to the church then my family leave me and my wife leave me then you gonna say and anoint it and you better learn to stop trying to meet everybody's expectations here's one thing that I've learned people actually all time pastors will you be my mentor anybody here will tell you my answer always is this I never acquire more relationships than I can manage if I don't have the time to manage the relationship the answer is no because you're gonna hold me accountable for something I didn't say I could do most people don't want to mentor they want you to give them a secret so they can do it and then leave you anyway when there's a mentor means mentor and that means I get to tour with you I get to see the process we talked through it and if I say no you don't get to do it just because you wanted to most people don't want a mentor they won't access through a door they don't have the influence to get through they don't want a mentor they want your help if you have a mentor that means I have to you have to be accountable to me you have to tell me what it is that you want to do I shouldn't found out it's done I should find out what you're doing so y'all not gonna say man you ain't gonna say nothing let me give you something that most people don't know I haven't said this in a long time the quieter you are the longer preach I used to say that all the time whenever y'all say man you just go back and buy the tapes whenever you say man the sermon was over quick she's like oh message [Applause] somebody shout the system it's not qualified to contain me you have to understand that you're going to battle expectations when you go from being ordinary to extraordinary and people don't see it it's like you let people borrow money you see they don't do right with it and then they get mad when you don't let them borrow it when they come back baby you better change your expectations of me first time it was a bad decision Luther said it that way he said second time won't be one have you ever seen somebody they want more money from you they still owe you money but they ask him for more and then get man you got it I know there's a reason why I got it because you don't got it there's a movie called all the money in the world talk about Jay paul Getty and he says in the letter he says if I responded to every person who needed money from me I would be in the same position as the people who need the money you have to know that when you go from ordinary to extraordinary you're going to have to balance expectations because people are going to think that you should do things to help them and you might not always be able to do it and whatever they have to say about you you're gonna have to be okay with that because you're going to have to balance the expectations now some of y'all you probably don't dis ain't resonating with you yet cuz you're not but some of you all are thinking like oh my god that's the answer because I'm doing all of this trying to meet everybody's expectations trying to make everybody happy trying to appease everybody some of y'all gonna kill yourself trying to make everybody's event you go to 17 birthday parties a week because you don't want to disappoint nobody let me tell you something get you a card send them American Express gift card in it and stay home and get you some rest before you be in the hospital you cannot y'all that y'all didn't understand that what I'm saying you cannot meet everybody's expectation you if you keep buying a birthday present for everybody's birthday and then at the end of the year you're trying to figure out where all your money went it went to oryx making everybody happy who didn't even have the courtesy to write you a thank-you note stop trying to meet everybody's expectation go right up to him say baby I knew is your birthday but I'm broke ain't got it like that happy birthday next year maybe but this year brother ain't got none for you cuz my kids need shoes my dog need biscuits ain't got enough but I love you in Jesus name I got a BAM some cuz they bought me something you do not have to buy them nothin cuz they brought you some fat tell them next year if you expecting some for me I advise you not to buy B in there cuz I ain't gonna have none for you y'all ain't taking this service seriously because y'all think I'm playin having the not having the audacity to get away from everybody's expectations are it's going to kill your spirit it's gonna hurt you because there are too many people who expect from you and you're going to stress out because you don't know that God sent you here for a purpose and that is not to satisfy everybody does this make sense to you so what's the expectation oh my god I got a I have to I got it I need to I got it I'm on my way here I come I'm sorry I'm late but I'm on my way you know no is an answer you coming uh-huh why not I don't know I'm tired I guess I just ain't gonna make it Oh Lord Jesus thank you now she said no it's not not not only as no a word it's a whole sentence and you can put a period after that's proof no save yourself and battle that bullying expectations people will put them on you you didn't even call me I know I didn't feel like being on the phone for hours if I knew that I could call you and get off in three minutes I would but I have to have time to call you because you don't get this out of my way cause y'all gonna get on my nerves now I'm telling you I have to have time to call you every time I call you I call you at at 3:30 I don't get off to fall in the 5 o'clock my biscuits done got Bert I don't waste my whole life talking to you how many of y'all know some people your life you scared the Carville eight Lord Jesus if I call them Oh Lord I want to call them the Lord if I call them I'm gonna be depressed and be out of seven hours if I call them let me show you how you got to call them hey I was just checking on you I'm on my way out but don't don't be don't [Applause] when we first started to church I used to call every member who join I've made thousands of calls I used to call every person who joined the church and and then I stopped because some Sundays we would have like a hundred a hundred and fifty people joined in the first service and then another forty in the second service and he got to the point where I couldn't call 300 people a week and then people start coming and talking about well my sister joint you call them but I joined I didn't even get a call but you want me to do you should have joined earlier you should've came last year I am NOT gonna be held responsible for when you decided to come to the Lord the expectations were too rough it drained me to a point where I started to hate what I was doing my mind was cracking under the pressure of everybody taxing me in the area I no longer worked in I'm getting ready to help you if you don't understand your tax bracket you pay too much if you don't know what's tax-deductible if you don't know what exemptions you can take there are some things you can do to lower your taxation but if you don't know you pay for a price and you are paying too much for your life too much for your time everybody wants something for you and you don't have the courage to say no neither do you have a strategy and the expectations are bullying you and everybody met it's because you're not who you used to be who am I talking to are y'all quiet because I'm talking right are y'all Quackers want me to stop and shut up you can't be everybody's everything you can't be everything to everybody because my question is is after you finish giving everything you have what do you have left now you're stressed you give them your virtue and now you got to take valium you got to take medicine to go to bed you got to take medicine to get up you got to take medicine to function all because you won't readjust the expectations on your life you cannot be everything to everybody do you hear me the next thing you're going to have to battle after you battle expectations is you're gonna have to battle exemptions you will get left out whenever you change the expectations and this is the truth you're gonna get to the place anybody you change expectations on they will cut you out of their life and then blame you like it was your fault they don't have enough courage to say the relationship didn't work as I was trifling only thing they can say is people use you and after they usually they don't need you know most shut up you don't tell nobody what I did do you [Applause] remember when your rent was do you remember you needed somebody to go pick up your daughter from the daycare you remember when you didn't have the money get your all change remember that you remember when I let you use my own I was going I was gonna say when I let you use my weed track but I know y'all don't share like that but some people do share though yeah they do they wash it in they wash it and they gift it will you be honest and say that this was an unequally yoked relationship you wanted me to stay ordinary because you didn't want to become extraordinary and you wanted me to have the same mentality but if I had the same mentality I'll have your income if I had your mentality I'll have your output if I had your mentality I'd be where you are so there's no room for both of us there you can have it all you sitting next to people right now this is not an accident that you're next to them if you don't know them decent might be your new friends that you you might be sitting next to somebody that God is trying to get you to know but you're so holy and stuck up you ain't spoke to him yet make sure they don't go on my purse I know if they steal for me at the church I ain't never coming back up in here you sitting next to somebody right now that could have your answer stop thinking that everybody you know knows you exemptions okay you're gonna get left out Jesus says who do men say that I am one of them ordinary prophets John the Baptist Elijah he says okay well I don't care what they have to say and you should never care what they have to say but you should care what the people in your life have to say Peter okay I don't care what they say but who do you say that I am and he says thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God you can be acquainted with people who know about you but you should only be connected to people who know who you are [Applause] you have to ensure that the people in your life know your value if you don't know the value of me I'm gonna help you and take all of me back I'm gonna take all of me back and then we'll see how you get alone without me and you might do well but I'll be doing better because I can't keep putting new wine in old wineskins I am Telling You that you have too much for them to contain and you are crazy if you think that it is your job to keep pouring yourself in the people who keep spilling you so if they don't call you they don't invite you it's fine it goes with the territory sometimes you're gonna have to be okay with being exempt do you know that for every person I've ever lost God gave me somebody else like I'm in a season right now people keep walking into my life there are extraordinary and great and I don't know where they're coming from if you allow God to do that you won't even know what you're missing but you won't do it because you feel like oh my god I just got to solve every problem I got to let everybody understand I just got a you don't have to do that but here is the other side to the coin y'all-y'all alright here's the other side to the coin sometimes you do have to pay people you don't oh okay let me prove it to you jesus said I'm exempt from the taxes but this is what I want you to do Peter I want you to go down to the lake there's gonna be a fish cook it open his mouth there's gonna be a coin in it go and take that to the people who are collecting the money it'll be enough for you and I to get in watch what he says I'm gonna pay it even though I don't own it which means sometimes you have to pay an apology that you don't owe that means some of you are gonna have to call people who you didn't do anything wrong to and apologize you don't owe em one but because you're not ordinary don't you miss this summit because you are not ordinary because you don't operate on the same frequency extraordinary people pay people they don't owe so somebody you're gonna say I'm sorry even though and don't do this because I know how some of us are we hood they will look my pastor said that I need a car and if I don't know why I mean at all your stupid self but I'm sorry that ain't no way to say I'm so keep that apology because that ain't right you cannot apologize and insult somebody at the same time how many of y'all have ever been given it's a terrible apology you could have kept that look I'm car I'm only calling cuz I don't want to go to hell and the Bible says that you ought to forgive everybody I'm just saying I'm sorry I ain't do no role it was all your fault but I'm just gonna be the bigger person since she's so small and I'm sorry no don't do that y'all listen I gotta get this off of my chest I can't even figure out where I offended you but if I did you have my sincerest apologies I understanding the fiddle chef that somebody dropped you if you fail you ever raised me do you know sometimes your parents can't be parents because they didn't have parents don't give yourself an excuse to be deficient in an area where you were not blessed but not give your parents see see we can say about ourselves what a reason why I'm not like that is cuz nobody taught me but have you ever taken into account nobody taught your mother sometimes you have to pay people yes you don't know Jesus they pay the tax pay the tax Peter you know Peter cuss and we pay a tax is fo Peter shut your mouth pay the tax God loved Peter so much that he covered up his mistakes Peter cut a man ear off Jesus picked a man era put it back home so I don't want nobody know that my my appreciate Pentecost he couldn't folks ears off I gotta cover up his mistakes when you are listening you laughing but I'm telling you when you're extraordinary he'll cover you oh I know I'm right give three people have five and saying the proof then he'll cover you yes I'm sitting next to you and you don't even know what I did come on talk to me somebody oh because if they knew what you had done they wouldn't be sitting you did the best you can go with it you don't stop explaining all of that stuff jesus said Peter why are we arguing we don't have to argue just pay the tax just give the apology and move on just whatever it is that's you own that you didn't owe did you have what I said whatever it is that you old that you don't know give it because in exchange for the for the tax Peter goes down to the lake and there was a fish with the coin in his mouth God says because you're willing to pay I'll pay it for you this is not going to come out of your budget this this is not coming out of your budget now the reason why the extraordinary person has to pay is because the ordinary person is already bankrupt so in order for the ordinary person to pay they have to give you everything they have god says because you're extraordinary I'm going to let you pay and not require you to come up with payment vengeance is mine saith the Lord of Hosts I speak to every person in here today if you will make up in your mind that you're going to do what God said do no matter how inconvenient it is for you you're gonna start to open up situations and there will be coins in the mouth of your opportunities I don't know who I'm talking to but every door you open there's gonna be a blessing behind it every conversation you have there's gonna be a miracle in it give five people a high five and say God's got something in it for you not gonna make you shout I'm gonna make you think somebody saying something in it for me something in it for me I'm getting ready to swallow my pride there's something in it for me i'ma pay the tax even though I'm exempt there's something in it for me I'm gonna forgive him even though I didn't do them wrong is something in it for me I'm going to stop walking past them and like acting like I don't see them at church is something in it for me I'm speaking of some of y'all who marry right now y'all need been talking to each other you're walking around the house silent treatment open up your mouth pay something you don't owe you go to the room she go to the room y'all laying it bare won't touch each other face of the wall putting seven pillows in between you in the kitchen making coffee we won't say none to each other children at the table looking like what's wrong with these fools so much tension in the house the dog got it anxiety when you leave your dog go tell the neighbor I roll doom he go and tell the neighbors he cannot stay over here [Applause] keep looking at me like man you crazy I know I'm not gonna help battle the exemption and you'll benefit from the Lord once he did what God told him to do God provided all these waiting on you to do what he said you you're or you're not ordinary so what your old way of doing stuff is it's an outdated method you know how you used to get upset you can't do that no more because you're on another level you know how your temper used to get the best of you you got to leave that in the past you own another trajectory I'm just trying to get you to see you not ordinary I'm just trying to and if maybe I wasted my time well III was just I'm just so tired of people shouting and not changed and I don't know what to do I'm I'm tired of seeing people who can put them up put them down and dance around the church and run and get so many laps in and then leave right out and just be evil and and vindictive I am tired of it and I want to see a change in the church I want to see it I want to see a change in the church I want to see a change in the church I want to see men and women of God loving each other even when they are amongst the unlovable the unlovable the untouchable and still extending an olive branch and saying you know what you didn't do me right but i'ma do you right I want to see that in the earth stand to your feet if you want to hear the rest of sermon follow me downtown god I pray that this small speech that you gave me would have affected at least one life first guy can I tell you thank you for delivering me from a spirit of entertainment I used to have it and it used to bother me god when I were preaching people wouldn't be running and shouting and screaming but you deliver me from it I thank you that I don't even have that expectation on myself anymore I thank you God that then I'm okay with being exempt from things I I want to this sermon is a testimony more than it is a message and I thank you God that you revealed me to me and I I pray that you were doing their hearts what you did in my heart I pray God that somehow they were look in the mirror and say I am more than enough and that they would operate in their gift and recognize when they operate in their gift everything they have been praying for us attached to the operation of walking worthy in the vocation where they have been called I pray God that you would lift the lighthouse and those who are watching us online and that you would put in us a sweat lift season of accomplishment where things will begin to come to us that we did not expect every opportunity we open Lord let it be a coin in the mouth in the name of Jesus we pray if you believe God for come on the side of a man it puts the hands together one minute 11 seconds every person in this room who believes that God has called you to come to this church and connect and unite in fellowship and this is where you want to plant your feet and open up your opportunities that you believe that God sent you here to join this ministry and be a part of this church come from wherever you are I don't care if it's the back the front wherever you are just move I would love to shake your head and God bless you whoever you are just come just just come god bless you my sister lighthouse every time they come they are and we meet people where they are we can take them where they need to be and that is right in the center of God's will if you believe it come on and thank God in this place god we are in love with you Jesus you are our Father we thank you that you died on the cross for our sins and got out on office and fetches in this room but I feel the joy of the Lord and God I pray God that for once we would all leave here in unity and fellowship and our hearts will be overflowing with the feeling of your love and your compassion in your spirit take every frown turn it upside down every hurt into love every loss hope into found joy and let us walk into the favor of God in the name of Jesus we pray if you love God shot a man love somebody real time to tell him I love you ain't nothing you can
