Banana, thy strength 🍌 ~ Relics of the Past blind playthrough

all right how's it going everyone welcome back uh to some more relics of the past this has been a lot of fun so far uh we left left off in this cave this is uh right actually behind the waterfall that's here in the new of the promenade or whatever it's called uh but we just got the shrine and uh i think was the heart container we got here and uh you know what it's been a lot of fun exploring hyrule but we are pretty underpowered for like everything just all the guardians and camps uh even with you know the weapons we've been getting which is still pretty nice to just you know everything's so tanky so i feel like our next best step is to uh maybe be prepared with some more meals because you know those are helpful and i usually forget them a lot in normal breath of the wild play-throughs but for this i really can't uh so where we're gonna go probably the best place to get um specifically attack food which will be helpful is the jungle so we gotta get ourselves some bananas and uh you know what with that we can get uh a nice attack buff uh a lot of attack buffs through some of the hard fights ahead and just check out the jungle will be cool because i heard there's some fun changes there so we'll have to check that out and yeah welcome to everyone tuning in we'll actually warp uh here this is a bit closer so this is where we left off last time yeah hopefully you're having a so charges and spins do double damage jump attack steal uh one and a half times the damage so that's not in the base game uh and then i also heard that the jump attacks do double damage too for uh the two ended weapons only so yeah this will be really nice there's only stream three so like anything can happen uh we're like mildly prepared i would say just you know neat little selection of equipment shields to get better we just kept breaking them on guardians so we'll get up there it's okay yes we gotta get bananas we'll get plenty let's first call our horse we need dough back uh i need directions just horsey take horse that's doe i love all fast all the white horses in this uh in this expansion really really nice oh there we go okay i do like it the royal armor i can never really justify putting anything else on this horse okay so let's maybe go across the bridges yeah so the jungle is kind of in destruction but we'll take an odd route because why not um find anything that's up ahead i think there is a stalnox in the woods also wait no don't get alerted okay good wait can we finish him off too just basic blooper goblins doesn't even kill him though the action health isn't helpful for us i'll still take the mastermind lucas is helpful okay yeah bye-bye head in the river ouch that's a cruel fate again this mastermind stuff really isn't going to be super helpful for us it didn't change at all with the relics so it's just chilling some of the stuff is all right like i know some of the mastermode chests are like uh some of the good like linobo's and such oh not though [Music] let's keep going this way yeah so i know there's a camp that's like a little down here there it is okay oh it's a pretty that's a pretty weak camp you know what it'll be good time to try out some new combat stuff though so build blocks is kind of on the weaker end uh you know what actually i might have to just start throwing stuff away i'll just use this double x okay let's maybe not start off like that okay the spear is going to constantly go up um screw it we're doing spins that was the worst way to start i'm just watching everything blow it itself up though uh switch bows for a little tech that's not even fair i didn't feel warmed up at all i was like you know what no we can just go into this that is the most unsatisfying death i've ever done in this hey figgy smalls thank you so much for the two donate to eat more bananas thanks yes we'll have to eat plenty i i don't know why it was ah okay let's just throw away stuff we don't need never mind i'm getting bogged down by uh just oh yeah also the fact i have to get used to that the fact that most of my weapons will be here uh so i was like wait where's all my stuff that i actually want to use so let's throw away all the crap uh even like that i don't really need it if it's single digit i'm just tossing it quite literally i don't need the boomerang do i no not the sticks i'm sorry you know what giant boomerang okay that spear he's angling up so well i didn't expect that oh with a head shot okay stop can't cancel out of any of that i look like i died in a very basic camp like if this was not anything hard this was a very awful way to start this [Music] okay okay you just buzz off buddy i just want your loot ah not bad turn yeah quick spin so the charges just do a double damage which is nice oh there's silver vocals right there there'll be justification to get some uh better weapons to start off with or hopefully they have better weapons there's a lot of dragon bone stuff it's a neat little silver camp okay but i think what we really have to try is uh this thing in multi-hits it's the blade saw so what if we just smack down to him no that's not what i meant to do it's not what i meant to do okay um we do something good for this whoop yeah jump in the water why not i don't mind if you do that okay here you take a damaged sword we gotta do this one at a time i think so we need to do is just find the best weapon for the situation which is like that probably let them fly everywhere and then back up okay they're all two-handed maybe we can get uh some good picks freeze the ones we don't need to worry about okay let's bunch him up ah is this just a bad idea doing all this without an attack buff i think it is oh man i think it's a very awful idea doing it without an attack buff yeah just before there do we just avoid fights until we get that attack buff like i don't know we could but that's a lame way of doing it see i think what we should be doing okay yeah just do whatever that's fine look at our arrows i think that's step one of the plan [Music] just like that okay we can get good damage with the spins i see relay off that knock him in the water or you know just to death okay it's one hit the region's gonna be slow compared to everything else didn't count and goodbye okay sorry we need to recover from that weak warm-up but it's okay also yeah welcome everyone the wild too same also other than bro favorite game uh i would probably have to give to mario odyssey i love mario odyssey so much the worlds are amazing the music it's an overall fantastic game uh it just moves very fast but it's a lot of fun so and both came out in the same year too oh yeah that elemental charge what's the bloopy back there we talked about hitting one okay uh there we go multi-hit and then recharge it and then that and we'll switch to uh i don't care we'll get better stuff right yeah okay so maybe that big camp was a lot to take on for what we have for weapons oh yeah that was good oh he's gonna attack his knee what so you're saying we should have canceled all that flurry is that what should have happened ah i'm not used to being a one shot to every little thing that gets us i like that charge attack a lot i still have to get used to that it's also with spheres okay so now let's really shake the dirt off like massively okay he's gonna spike me okay so that's really what we should be doing take advantage of the fact that 200s are very powerful but the one handers are good for just uh knocking stuff around you're just a tree branch if the point is impact then maybe that's the best way to take them down just weak stuff yeah for near water might as well here you take that okay go fetch broke on water see it's for it's called recovery you need another stuff now but we did get a fish in the process so maybe we're on the right track here you know where bumpy start where are these goblins did this one spawn randomly i know a lot spawns randomly oh bloopy well i don't care that's back um so shoot them oh there's a gold in there okay so these are a lot better oh yeah okay i didn't caught how many exactly that was but that was uh i don't know just amazed about all the colors let's just say that was over 500 correct me on that but uh that was really good a nice little looting splendid okay let's go fight the stuff that was over here wait so i guess they're not over here huh went from a whole pack to yeah so i guess uh if you die yeah i guess it is very dynamic so i like that but i'll get used to that because if you die then it's like oh well what do you know we'll go get our stuff back though don't worry i didn't forget about this 10 arrows fishy roasted base yeah welcome everyone to the stream though still uh warming up for you to the jungle please excuse my awfulness for it there only cost us a couple deaths that should get it right that's ah you have to be pretty snappy with that i thought i heard something over there i don't need to find the best route over okay so he's over there um i do want to use that blade saw let's first just uh you know if we sort this uh it's just gonna do one hand this first so let's drop that wanted it back but uh okay let's use proper weaponry which i say is the blade saw maybe a nice jump attack work oh no okay that's not what i want to do and uh he's in the water anyways so i guess yay for me i was trying to kill him like you know with weapons wasn't trying to go for the cheap environmental kill but we got it can i say a mad not really i didn't want that back [Music] okay i'll go back to where my horse is we'll just have to do a bit of climbing which shouldn't be a problem because we climb naturally faster which i do like let's go over there because regardless there is uh that one waterfall there's like a little secret cave i do want to check out so that's a nice area and there's also a shrine around here might as well nab that because it's only two shrines to uh upgrade yourself probably some more hearts i guess because what i found out is that your heart's uh it's still the normal cap but your stamina caps a lot higher because you can keep finding more like stamina things and heart things so uh you can get a lot more stamina than three wheels than this so that's really nice considering it drains faster for like bullet times i really don't care call me lazy but that's better well quick shrine first these are fun to just run through quick bit of looting even though they're unchanged it's like huh how can i choose them this time or some of them are just so fast you don't have to choose so that's not a big deal oh no it's an apparatus we're not doing this [Music] sorry apparatuses we cheese that was a perfect wind bomb [Music] okay because the thing is i do have gyro setup for my controller uh for the emulation uh but the gyro doesn't work as responsively as it does uh on like a switch so like if you were to move uh your gyro like 90 degrees on a switch it would move like 45 degrees on this so it's it's a bit it's a bit odd but at least it works so it's helpful okay two more upgrades when we go back um and yeah what's farmer bloopies shoot every single one we see because that was a lot of rupees that's probably one of the faster ways to make money which i like how they're buffed like that okay up the rivers where we should go to find the treasure uh there we go [Applause] oh hi here i leave you this parting gift oh no no take it it got something that it definitely did okay ah you can't just drop it the way one at two at least oh that's all right okay it's just a melting pot goodbye everything and you though wait can't pick up the head oh darn okay now we got it a little charge well not bad this area is always a good idea to loot amber okay what's next we do got to get the banana soon though okay yeah this cave is pretty uh normal but it's still good money for whatever else we need it for flame blade okay just our basic stuff and it's a lot more than i remembered [Music] okay not bad we'll take the silent shrimps too in case we need that um so don't go literally just down there don't have a volley scale but we do have a lot of nice ledges stamina upgrades would be kind of nice so get rivoli first i would like them i heard the divine beasts are a lot harder though so uh i don't know if we're ready to take them on this early see like having those attack buffs is gonna be so crucial for this that's why i really want them oh the guy had offered bananas that'll be helpful but there still is a lot in the jungle so it's like that's what we're gonna focus on that was a bit of an unsatisfying wind bomb do we have spicy peppers we do uh stamina might be an issue so i don't really know let's try to use pepper sprouts if we can okay um here what do we got for a bow i gotta use pepper straws for this no they fell out ah i was trying to pepper strap my way up and double pepper that's okay because i think we'll do a little whistle sprint there up the mountain you can chain that but it's just hard this is the bad climb but i think it's uphill from here see that's that's pretty much good i know we have extra stamina food for sure oh of course we do i made sure to be prepared at least the goat didn't decide to charge at me serve me all goats oh the sword usually wouldn't break them but uh the spin attacks do double damage so now it can i like that makes it more satisfying yeah does uh chilling back down there so we'll call upon him eventually when we get that next stable to ruby and uh i would donate it to the choo choo's button ah okay what's next lizzle forked hello there we go and oh we popped it yeah i have to get used to these different types of heads we can do it's kind of wild they really don't want us climbing this do they come on we have to pull it off okay we chained them that really did not work did it ah we literally lost out yeah that's maybe not effective method in relics because the faster bullet time uh stamina loss at least maybe not for the early you know with literally no stamina yes or is our magnetic we'll use that in case uh stuff falls in the water it's probably like the main use for that because uh i was talking a shadow about that and uh just like one of the annoyances about the base game like when you like flossing into the water oh you can't loot you know those gems that fall down so it was nice that they were magnetic so you can actually scoop them out especially the diamonds there we go there's some enemies let's make this interesting shall we it's an interesting weapon oh archers we need to take care of so let's take care of them what do we have for two handeds uh i like this frost one not bad okay oh he's down a bit okay oh that freeze chain that's gonna be really powerful right now it's really weak when you don't have to freeze though i can't switch weapons easily okay no oh we didn't die from that okay well thank you game it was nice to meet for once uh didn't even need a ball time i'm just like no okay so much health this is why we need the attack whistling food because we can do double damage then until we have that it's going to be a bit painful also just okay we can't do cool attacks otherwise oh okay there we go okay yeah you can kind of abuse uh the paraglider in this because you can pop it easier so you can get a nice flurry uh or old time in midair we go okay more stamina that's probably a priority i lied we need that okay go for him there we go good it's it sucks i can't do the i can't do the run-up attack when you don't want to stamina that's good um we'll go royal you can just weaken him a bet that's good okay not bad for all that okay now re-equip uh a two-hander even a spear get that multi-hit in there and the charge yeah the double damage is really nice for that well that's good that's two down this is still what we're getting our bananas though we need that extra power when we can get it oh come on okay we're going backwards there we go both hit oh i love this blade saw that's what it's good for okay awesome it's just chip damage that's okay i'm getting the rolex techniques a bit more the base game ones are just not as damage dealing so i'm literally having to unlearn and relearn a lot here okay i know we can do slam down with this maybe ah we get some extra hits yeah so he moves around a lot so it's not helpful in those situations six and dead we're good that was just a random little enemy patch so archers are gonna be a priority um that guy's just a little simple dude i hear a cow it's not waste our elementals though if we can hold off we will hold off i feel like that's good about them uh also thank you gangster gaming for the two dollars cortana i love all your videos thank you so much uh yeah i love doing both challenge ones and the stats ones that's basically just been my forte but we'll have a new one coming out very soon oh even that just barely nicked them okay so the chargers double damage oh pretty good that's a lot of hitches for black maublin being on this tree won't help me hunt them maybe it will would you like to find out going for the head shot but his face was a little bit far away from me so goat wait ah these heads are small but it's pretty much a guaranteed kill with a head shot because uh it has like an insane damage multiplier more than double okay that looks like the jungle to me there's a little cork thing right there but the requires going down we need to go up oh is that our lionel oh are we gonna do another lynel right now okay it took us a bit to get warmed up but i think i think i'm getting it a bit better look i know i played the bass breath of the world a lot but this feels like a whole new game just in terms of the combat for me so i'm really trying to learn and i'm like seeing what works what doesn't also that is our first bananas oh the goat knocked it over it's a sign okay sorry mister oh maybe we won't have to go to uh brutal measures we'll just keep him stuff in my pocket until i need him well that's suffering i feel like we're just this close to the hat each time you know but we are at the spring right now we could get a couple dragon parts uh might as well because i didn't know we were right here then nine all okay this is just this is a good place let's let ourselves a little campfire give her a good bow uh don't know how many hits it has i know we kind of ran it dry a bit but we're fine oh we'll get a few of these so we'll explore this jungle see what's all in there uh blood moon okay [Music] what's your first one i also did want to say uh irrelevant to relics here but um in terms of challenge runs because i know a lot of people ask about those uh i made a poll a couple days ago just asking what like which one was like the best that you guys saw because there's five of them there's amiibo the chica uh the blood moon zora and uh gerudo surprisingly the uh the blood moon one one i didn't really know you guys enjoyed that one that much but uh challenges like that were pretty fun because it was uh very skill based and uh we actually failed at our first time but it was a lot of fun so thank you to everyone who voted on that one uh the results definitely shocked me but i like doing all the challenge ones and i'm happy that we tried uh you know just doing them earlier last year so also i i figured the dragon would spawn that increment uh but it didn't maybe that was the wrong tree i think it was this one okay yeah because usually when i hear about people talking about runs is usually the themed runs but i don't know a lot of people like the blown one that much i'm trying to wait for the dragon to respond it's morning [Music] where's our dragon [Music] usually spawns when you do this that's for love to save someone killed the dragon no wrong location was a change for alex because this is where the dragon spawns in the base game ah come on we need dragon parts pretty bad no yeah this is his normal spawn point okay i know sometimes he just has a hard time spawning because he just i don't know doing his thing but i guess if we stay in the jungle we'll encounter him very interesting okay well in the meantime let's just kill the lionel screw it yeah i know sometimes he just does have difficulty spawning which i know that's nothing new some people are saying i'm the wrong place but that's my normal place where i find them okay there's a blue lionel we'll worry about it later uh the headshots are not as important um you can even use i don't know that there's a spear one i don't like the spear ones like oh he's weak or do we just get hit weird i don't know okay let's take them on uh might as well use something that actually hits hard for a start okay taking away a bit of stamina he gets up fast that's the difference our bow is broken let's pay attention to everything there we go mount's quick oh this is a pretty easy little take down this is nothing like the the plateau one plus it's just a blue what else am i expecting yeah it he just gets up faster which i guess is nice because it was just way too easy otherwise oh okay so just get closer ah kind of spun around i guess that's nice oh a weak little head it's not bad come here lionel whoosh oh if you don't mount them like immediately you lose it oh we died to a lionel what ah we had our balls you can't backflip with a bow silly me it's okay it's so this is pretty standard except for you know just getting up faster i'm still very curious about this dragon final hack okay i don't care just for free damage oh it took his balls it's evil okay not as bad considering we can do that but of course that didn't work that time okay well we can only go in with the again should we be using our best best weapon yeah okay and then uh just you know forcefully bow and then mounts really quick yeah it's like that very quick window then you're gonna try to get the bowl time just head afterwards slicing the grass thank you matthew for the three huh get that lionel we will we need to that time he's down for a bit longer okay good thing we have the powerful crusher yep for more than like two steps away we're not gonna get it the fast draw time is nice for like all the bows pretty much so i do like that for everything that makes it harder or something like a high skill move or you know just some other tweak to make some more balance in something else well don't know what that accomplished but nothing again we had our bow out or we had something out that allowed that failure to happen i shouldn't be failing but we are and that's the problem okay well that is awful and we got the spawn right there so okay let's see how fast laid into him we get the most damage same with that attack those mainly okay let's try something else that oh nice okay we got that it's gonna fire oh we targeted when we were meaning to do that we got kicked on ah when you're trying to shield hop away some of the techniques interfere with uh just getting targeted i was trying to shield up away that time but we targeted and can't really shield how often so it's like darn i can't use rely on that as a evasive maneuver okay and no dots oh it's saved when we already lost a bunch of life why did it do that like that's why we died in one shot at the time there we go multi-head that's what we should be doing we need the faster kill methods where's my my shield's broken okay that's why we didn't use our shield oh my god well that's 70th stuff that's okay huh it's not going as planned okay multi-kill that's fine okay uh let's eat something that that would be a good way to he's gonna do fire here we go after that low back four easy heads way to evade my camera pretty well he did a good job okay after that one it's easy to get a shot and the mount prop was wasn't even up and that was just one one good fireball somewhat we dodged that okay i'll take that now let's get our shield out help easy it's very varied how you kill him i can't just rely on the just perry head shot hit him on the back okay that was on you you could have easily made that lynel but you didn't what are you what's with these baby hops what are you trying to accomplish two and three okay okay okay come on project me yeah it's a good one that's never a bad one to use i don't mind stay under okay now we did that now we can uh i don't know finish them with uh edge of duality oh if it works bye-bye oh no don't tell me that failed to fight oh no he's gonna shock oh oh boy oh boy oh boy that's not gonna be fair yep not the worst for damage dog i've experienced worse i've experienced a lot worse oh you oh wow evil no i'm right here lionel i am right here please fair fight why do you keep doing it stop stop at least he's not shooting him directly at me i'll take i'll take it for what it is and okay no shield shields are like the gold of this run that's good that's really good okay one more yep not bad though oh okay good so close so close we got him okay our first blue line will kill uh easier than the last one and a lot less deaths too we can call the number of dust on our fingers or last time we fought a line of those uh you know just a couple dozen but we got it let's get those vinyl parts uh you know even with modifier that's still good i'll take it also thank you the wolfman for the ten helpful and thank you so much all right well we have hearty stuff and we got the lynel so i feel like that's at least okay some sort of progress i feel like after this we'll check out probably like the spring of wisdom you know uh the stable and just kind of whatever else is around along with shrines and such let's save up it took us to 70 deaths but that's okay still not as bad as the first stream i can i can say that little that you can watch someone actually be able to defeat a lionel if you sit around dying to a red one over and over again uh i mean the tactic i always just use was just just get a parry shot and then jump on its back and that worked for most of the base game finals but these guys are just a different story in relics so it's a bit trickier also we need to make sure dragon works because dragon was not working for some reason i know sometimes just like you know it's a little dummy here and there but [Music] he's just not appearing is he i can't say that's changing relics i'm just saying that it's not very common like sometimes if he doesn't appear it's like oh you just rolled the save or wait another minute or something but no it's not too close to the spawn this is the same exact spot by the same exact tree i always put a campfire and i have watched him spawn dozens of times now just ain't working oh i guess for the better it is pretty broken because you can just keep farming out dragon parts there but uh hmm wow okay nevertheless uh let's check out this little cave uh this rock here also why is my chat box been off this whole time it's just off isn't it ain't working huh i just noticed that it's did streamlabs remove support for the chat box it's not there uh maybe just the service isn't working today i guess sorry about that i usually have chat box on screen uh i think it's the most breaking thing it's it's on but whatever with the service that it uses to get the chat it's not receiving the data you know what streamlabs has done worst things before it's okay [Applause] that's nil thunderblade oh how cool attack up 44 damage nice okay that's very very worth it i do want these gems so jim rain whoa those odds were increased weren't they there is no way i got one two three four five diamonds from that i assume the blue tables for drastic increased so okay it feels like a waste for one but considering what we got maybe it was like a flynn just burst how did that work nothing else in here chest that is a ton of diamonds okay ancient arrows nice okay i like this little cave but now i just have more reasons to like it that's pretty neat okay what there's just three ancient narrows laying outside wait what i could have very easily missed that well that's nice thank you interesting you know yeah i should stop of other stuff now we're just in the jungle uh we didn't go to like the spot where all the bananas is but we did get some uh the more the merrier of course hopefully we'll see more of the dragon uh or one more orb and we can honestly i was debating between hearts and stamina but stamina is going to be so much more helpful for the combat climbing don't need to talk to cass there you are buddy you're gonna be a bit of a hard shot aren't you here let's see if we can do this very quickly with little stamina not bad where's it gonna fall i don't know anywhere uh that's quite the drop okay it's usually good part uh not always a lot but i i think it's just like the stalkers but has a higher chances on the better ones so the only one that's bad for drops uh in terms like efforts like the sentries usually those just drop not as many unless i'll change a lot in relics i don't know intimidating guardian music also the jungle is gonna be hard to traverse without that zora armor forgot about that bananas okay so i think before this we had one banana we have 10 now so we'll increase our stash a lot there we go most of the bananas are in the southern end of the desert or jungle ignore me owl those are not adjust around here or something i don't remember fully okay these guardians just really high up i'm happy we have those ancient arrows that's really helpful uh it's making it a bit trickier just a tad here oh well maybe stasis because we can look for anything even loose loot uh okay well another side of the bridge is a stable he's gonna be an issue isn't he wait it is him okay okay uh killing unfortunately ideal cause it's just gonna fall in the water we're not gonna get it he got us out of midair was wow yeesh oh i was not expecting that at all no way no okay uh well we died there trying to outrun them i was i thought it was a good enough angle good thing there was that save right there uh wow no i did not expect that i can say that for sure i was like we're fine like actual stuff because we just have so many like duplicates and like i don't know anything that just like you know stuff to cycle through it just gonna get annoying even that's like a lot but like we trimmed it down a bit and then i just know we don't need all that like for sure it's a lot of weapons a whole stack the edge will be nice i like playing around with the two handeds a lot okay like the little ledges by the beach banana tree yes and even the thistles we can occasionally find our good because three bananas a thistle that's how we get our level three attack buff i lost a bit longer and still you know messing them up but like gaining knowledge and what's actually important to kill them because a lot of times floor rushes aren't ideal unless it's like a pack of them uh so i like doing like the rushes with spears and you know getting that twirled the edge to do a multi-hit same with the two-handeds the charges are really nice for him uh one enders are still good for the spin
