Ballistic Gel Wearing Body Armor... Part 1

mr president we've got a code 3. hold on i got nothing engaging mr president stay in the car [Music] oh hi so oh oh hey hey guys welcome to demolition ranch today we've got some clear molest blessed i was molesting the bliss some clear ballistics uh torsos so these are from a company called clear ballistics and they just make some ballistic gel type torsos and we got five of them because we want to see how many people it takes to stop a bullet oh man that's a demonetized sentence right there uh but i am kind of interested to know how many of these torsos it would take to stop a bullet um small bullets probably will stop in one tour so bigger are gonna carry through two other ones and then round two of the test i want to try them with body armor on so you probably didn't notice i've actually got some body armor on this is from premier body armor it's the executive vest i'll tell you more about it when we get there it's very cool you kind of can wear it underneath i have a very form-fitting t-shirt on you can hardly notice it so we're going to put those on the torsos in a minute too but first let's shoot them naked check this thing out i actually got a new pistol this is a vol quartzen custom and it's a 22 and these things are just known to be very very fun very accurate good little pistols uh they also make 22 rifles i think so i've never had a volk quartz and i've seen them on 22 plinkster channel a ton uh it's got a threaded barrel it's got a fiber optic sight this is how you rack it right there kind of interesting nice little trigger it's got a molded grip you can see your thumb goes right there got your release here for your mag looks like yep there's a little bolt slide release there and a safety yeah that's pretty much it i'm just pumped about it so we're going to shoot it a little bit first see how it runs i have not ever shot it let's see if it jams okay i like it a lot i'm gonna try to shoot the little bitty target up there see if these sights are on okay yep that's a hit sweet let's go here yeah this thing's sweet i'm gonna shoot it really fast now okay no jams on the vote court since we're just going to put one round in it now and fire it into the clear ballistics dummies one round uh i think it's gonna go through the first one and stop in the second one there's our bullet stuck in the second so where did it pass through oh right here so coming at this angle here you can see where it passed through right there very cool and then oh why did i just smear that i think that was a dead bug oh he's dead now this is our bullet stuck in there i don't know it's it's really hard to see you gotta get the right angle to be able to see this thing but the bullet is two inches into our second torso so now we're gonna get a bigger round and see how far it goes through this nine millimeter now that big boy out of the dvc tactical 2011. i'm saying the nine millimeter bullet is going to [Music] not go past the fourth torso that seemed like it hit pretty hard oh dude this is so cool i don't know if you can see it good from that angle but this angle you can see it dropping too so it hits here flies down and then you can see it kind of going down and it stops right here in the third one shoe dog that is so cool so that was a full metal jacket it's also interesting to note that it's backwards so the bullet spun around at some point i don't know if it was just it hit the first one was flying backwards or if it was tumbling the whole time or if that kind of happened when it was slowing down but okay so three torsos stopped a nine millimeter nothing has touched our fourth one yet it's the 1911 desert eagle chambered in 45 acp this is also a full metal jacket just like the nine was i think it's gonna go further than the nine it's slower but it's heavier so i think that weight will keep the momentum up and we'll carry it further than the nine millimeter yeah yeah it came out where did it go it looks like it went in there no that's a rock where did you go just watched the slow-mo it flew in hit the fourth one bounced right here we could not find it i was looking around all around the table like where is that thing it was on the ground over here so it did pass through the third but barely and then it just hit this thing and bounced off we are going to shoot the kiapa triple threat 12 gauge shotgun with three barrels which is pretty sweet and i don't actually know which barrel it fires first we're loading just some bird shot in there uh so not gonna penetrate very deep at all we'll see what happens i don't know if it's the first second or third pull not the first not the second it was the third i'll stop see all those bbs in there some of them are close though oh no that's from the other holes never mind none of them were close some of them got two inches away from exiting torso okay so bird shot does not go through what about something more powerful in the 12 gauge realm one ounce slug out of the 12 kid shotgun i don't know why i put in that top position again because it's going to take a while to get to it click click boom that was cool oh where is it the so the wad is right there i see that i don't think where is it is that it that's the wad is the it's a let's oh there's a yeah it broke apart crazy that's a piece of it that's a piece of it that's a piece of it that's a piece of it dude the slug freaking exploded in the first guy and some of them came through and stuck pretty superficially in the second guy that's really weird my favorite gun uh the ugliest gun we have the high point i don't remember what the rifles are called i think it's just called a high point carbine i don't know it's a 10 millimeter though which is a very fast round and it's a full metal jacket it's a flat nose though but fast moving round out of a rifle so pretty good chance of penetrating deep so it could go through everything i couldn't figure out what the noise was i shot and then i heard a clunk and i was like what was that i know what it is now there it is passing through our clear ballistics gel right there this straight line is it passing through we're in the fourth now passing through in the fifth now passing through and it came out and hit our bowling pins and knocked him over went through all five dummies we got the little ak now draco with the banana mag this should go all the way through i think it's going faster than that 10 mil but it's going so fast it could start turning or breaking up i don't really know but i think it's gonna pass all the way through just like the tin mill we got smoke okay oh it exploded in here it stopped possibly right there you can see it came in low and it definitely fragments so what these rifle rounds do is they have so much energy that will actually spread out whatever they hit and so it spreads these out really wide and then shrinks back down as you can see it just caused a lot more damage in there by getting hit with a ripe around it looks like there may be a line in this one but i don't think it went into this one and it definitely broke apart oh it came out so that line looks like it came yeah so there's a little tiny dot back here where this was coming through and a little piece of it because there's a bunch of metal in there a little piece came through here and exited right here but it was tiny so this actually hit three but most of it stopped in the first and second which is insane so now this is not what we wanted to do for this video at all i'm just like super intrigued by seeing this we never play with ballistics gel and i i get tons of you guys telling me you want to see ballistics show and i just never have done it because like i don't know i just i like shooting random things but this is kind of fun you guys are right so we're going to actually shoot it with uh 556 now an ar-15 because it's going way faster it'll be the fastest one we've shot so far today so now i mean the ak stopped within two feet i want to see what that 556 does it could all stop right here with just some small fragments hitting the second one there's only one way to find out okay 556 next um after seeing the 762 by 39 i didn't think it would stop that soon and this is going even faster and is a lighter smaller bullet place your guesses in the comments below what you think is going to happen i think it's going to stop in the very first one and not go through the second one i think i'm betting and if i'm wrong i will go work in a local gun shop all day long selling guns until we sell every single gun in that shop this is the 556 regular full metal jacket out of an 18 inch barreled ar-15 ah we'll see what this does so up high let me look at this there it is so no that was from earlier they just fell out uh there it is trying to come out it did come out came out the first one and it stopped within like three inches of the second one there's a big piece of metal right here that's a piece of our 556 and then there's another piece there i don't know where the rest of the bullet is but it broke up for sure and went a little bit less than an ak-47 okay next up 50 bmg let me know this thing's going super fast super powerful but it's going too fast it's going to start breaking apart like all the other rounds oh all right put your bat in the comments below how far does the 50
