all right I am back with another video and today we're doing the next in my newest series The all single class build full party lineup uh I need to kind of think of a catchier name for this series but regardless this is the series inspired by the dungeon dudes where we are going to be making uh full party builds using only a single class without multiclassing trying to make each build feel a bit unique and different from each other now when I did this with Fighters and which then this will be the case for a lot of classes uh this was a bit tricky as there's only three some classes for a lot of the classes in these games so there is going to be one repeat so I have to get creative and how I build these characters differently and also if you want to uh kind of decide the next uh video uh the next kind of video in this series uh comment the class that you guys want to see next down below and the most upvoted comment will be the winner and will decide the next uh episode in the series Rogue won last time with I think about 33 or so up votes as compared to the second place which was Rogue which had about 30 so it was very very close so I expect Rogues to be the next episode but if you want to change that do get down there and get voting regardless let's have a look at what I'm trying to accomplish with these builds today so I thought the fact that the the fact that clerics have eight subclasses in this game was going to make this a bit easier and it kind of did and it kind of did didn't um I kind of had to Discount a few cleric subclasses right off the bat as it were going to kind of overlap with other classes that I was going to be doing later nature a bit too close to DED so I decided to axit for this video uh Tempest I decided to ax cuz obviously storm sorcerer is coming later trickery I decided not to use in this video particularly for the fact that it's kind of a bit rogish and it's also not one of my favorites to work with and also the other one I kind of didn't use for the build actually no there's only seven I just realized there's only seven why did I say there was eight I'm pretty sure there's only seven hold on unless there's a really forgettable cleric domain I've been doing this for nearly a year how do I not know all the cleric sub classes by now no I didn't miss one it was nature Tempest and trickery were the ones I left behind yeah said there's seven I don't know why I said there was eight and I know somebody has commented that in the comments and before I actually made that correction yes so there's seven and I could do a kind of Trio build with the rest of the classes later if you guys want me to but for now let's focus on just kind of getting this series done so what I and I thought you know with this many subclasses it was going to be a lot easier to make distinct characters but it actually was a bit trickier the fact that cleric is a bit more restricted in what equipment it can use depending on the subass and the fact that the spell lists again being spellcasters the I mean don't get me wrong clerics don't exactly have limited spells but when you're making four clerics it's kind of hard to differen differ entiate their spell lists things like Wizard and sorcerer will be a lot easier to do heck even Druid but this was tricky and and so I kind of had to look at the four subclasses that I thought best encapsulated the cleric and that was light life knowledge and uh War now yes I would say knowledge and especially uh War definitely overlap with some other classes knowledge obviously being Wizard and um and War obviously being Paladin at least thematically but mechanically they actually do serve as being quite unique and I think represent a good portion of what Paladin of what Paladin of what cleric is about and I mean light obviously is just great because it kind of takes over as our Blaster caster and um uh life is basically just you know cleric in a nutshell it's a stereotypical cleric it's the Healer of the group so with this with these builds we're going to be getting a marshall fighter through War a blaster Caster through light a Healer through life and a battlefield controller through knowledge cuz the unique domain spells that knowledge gets really sets it apart so I'm quite excited to show this off so let's get into the builds first up let's go with our war Master here at the back let's fly on over to them really quickly oh no we'll just get them to stand up that's fine so as you can see here we are a level 12 War domain cleric as you know War cleric is going to give you a very unique feature called War priest which at level 12 we will have six charges per long rest which allow us to use extra attack as a bonus action obviously not as powerful and versatile as a full Marshall fighter but it gets us close enough allowing us to be a front-facing member of the party now astute observers among you will immediately notice that despite this being our front line fighter we have the lowest Constitution out of all of the others the others want the Constitution for for concentrating whereas we would only want it for hping and I kind of with the strategy uh that I went for with this build uh we kind of actually needed the wisdom slightly more in a weird way uh cuz basically the idea of this build is to be a Frontline fighter but the best part of being a mobile get up inyou face cleric is of course Spirit Guardians so by playing with a higher wisdom Spirit Guardians saving throw is harder to make allowing us to get in close hit once or twice depending on if we want to use that war priest charge or not get the extra damage on our melee attacks with Divine strike weapon as well as some equipment I'll show off in a minute and also we gain access to one of the best spells in the game for for damage Spirit Guardians as Spirit Guardians is going to synergize really nicely with some equipment that you can see on the screen now in my Fighter video I I used a couple of Feats on each build uh to kind of get you know to kind of get a bit more of a unique feeling between them there are there is the room for Feats on these builds depending on how you play them but because cler is a spellcaster and is a little bit more multi- ability score dependent especially the war cleric with who if you want to kind of keep that cleric Vibe and I tried to keep it so we're only using weapons that clerics are initially proficient with with the exception of the knowledge cleric but you'll see what that doesn't really matter in a minute uh so I kind of stuck with like maces and flails and morning stars and other simple weapons just to kind of keep that cleric vibe instead of just being like Oh look let's take the weapon Master feat so we can use you know the same great sword I've used in like 50 million other videos like you know what I mean I wanted to test myself and my abilities as a build maker in this situation to again see if I can get that unique feel while still keeping things mostly cleric so this build doesn't actually have any Feats but if you wanted to maybe play a race like a gif Yankee or a elf that gets like long sword proficiency or something and then take great weapon Master to be a very effective front Lan fighter you could absolutely do that or of course take the weapon Master feat as well as great weapon master but then you're having a bit of trouble with the ability scores so feel free to play around with that as you like this is just kind of a basic skeleton that you can build from but like I said being a level 12 War cleric we do get access to all the usual cleric offensive tools and I'm mostly focused on offense with this character cuz that's kind of art deal so we get things like insect plague blade barrier flame strike contagion Divine strike weapon guiding bolt uh spirit Guardians obviously being the obvious choice Glyph of warding magic weapon uh hold person and stuff like that but our main thing is going to be running up to an En running around the battlefield with Spirit Guardians dealing residual damage as we go and smacking things with our weapons and so yeah basically all the basic cleric stuff here nothing too crazy our ability skulls are as follows we want to get a 20 in strength so we get the maximum amount of damage out of our strength based weapons and I've gone for an 18 in wisdom so start with 16 in strength and wisdom uh dump in intelligence and Charisma and go for a 12 inex and a four in Constitution uh yes it's going to leave us with a little bit of less health and our constitution saving throws are going to be a bit worrisome but we have high enough AC that I found that I wasn't actually getting hit that much anyway so it ended up all right and we're wearing heavy armor with this build since War cleric can do that so we didn't need a lot of dexterity other builds will have a bit more so yes this is 12 decks and I'm talking two decks right now don't you dare the he if you know you anyways so uh basically like I said we're going to kind of 20 strength because again I wanted this to be the more martial focus of the group and obviously we have three other clerics in this party who will be able to do the other cleric stuff a bit more effectively but like I said main strategy run around with Spirit Guardians bot people on the head deal big damage with extra attack when you want to and also you can do things like guided strike with your channel Divinity and again we are a full Caster use those big spells put on concentration things like Crusaders mantle to bump up your damage even more summon like do everything you can to just fill the battlefield with absolute Carnage radiant damage and all the like but the main thing comes from our equipment here so let's get into it a good ma to get earlier on in the game is the twist of Fortune whenever you roll a two or less on this weapon's damage die you can reroll it and take for new result it's a basically great weapon fighting so again that kind of felt on theme for our kind of fighter build here this also comes with a unique attack called blood Money allowing you to deal an additional four piercing damage per 300 gold that the target possesses uh if you know this can oneshot like any boss in the game if you Reverse Pick Pockets some gold into them but I don't like using cheap strategies like that personally so I'm going to be ignoring it here but we also have tenacity so that even when we miss we still deal damage as well and it's a plus one weapon overall but you can bump bump this up with something like the flare of Ages or the Drake for glaive if you so desire now of course CL all clerics have Shield proficiency as well so I'm going to while I haven't specified a specific shield for all of these builds obviously you know that if you pick up a shield you can just use it so I won't go into too much detail there but I do have the glowing Shield here which I have yet to show off on this channel so I thought why not I'll show it off here once for short rest if we are below 50% hit points and take damage we gain eight temporary hit points I mean it's kind of cool gives us a bit of extra tankiness once for a short rest not the best best thing in the world but this is kind of me just proving my point that like any Shield you pick up will work you mainly just want that AC buff but there's other Shields you can pick up like Von's walking Fortress the sh The Shield of devotion whatever ever you feel like is going to help you out I just kind of wanted to show this one off cuz I've not done so before also as an act three weapon option we have the sacred star you'll remember this from my twin stars build which is one of my more popular ones uh this is a weapon that comes with an additional bit of radiant damage inflicts radiating orb upon hitting a Target which if you don't know radiating orb makes it so the target has a negative or2 attack roll for each remaining or turn of orb which means we're now even harder to hit which again helps us maintain those con those concentration saves Undead creatures are turned so we get turn Undead just for attacking and this also comes with tenacity and a unique Dawn burst strike attack dealing even more radiant damage equal to our proficiency bonus and light arounds us in a erupts around us in a 3 meter area and they and enemies must succeed a con safe or become blinded very very fun attack and a very very fun weapon feels very clery so I wanted to show this one off here let's get into the armor and such now first up the deem of Arcane Synergy Spirit Guardians actually does inflict a condition called well Spirit Guardians and as such because we're inflicting a condition we gain Arcane Synergy just for using Spirit Guardians so that means we get to add our uh spellcasting ability modifier which with wisdom is plus four to all of our attacks meaning that even though we even though we have limited extra attacks between this Divine strike and the other stuff we have stacked on here we're going to be doing a lot of damage per turn like quite a a lot obviously not as much as a Divine smiting Paladin but again with the limitations that we have we've actually got a pretty decent damage output here next up the adamantine split armor this is a great early game armor for you to grab and honestly works great for this build reduce all incoming damage by two making us bit more tanky when a melee attack hits us the attacker is sent Reeling for three turns and attacks cannot land Critical Hits against us again as a cleric with a slightly low lower Constitution we are a bit squishy so this just helps us be that Frontline fighter that can tank just that bit more and I like using the Adam the adamantine armors in these kind of builds cuz again it just makes the build progression feel a bit better when you've essentially got your endgame armor in act one but if you wanted to upgrade this to something like the armor of persistence once you get to act three you can totally do so but once I saw this armor colored in the uh Lush burgundy die and how it goes red and gold I could not include it oh yeah I totally forgot to mention what uh deity this cleric worships uh definitely uh I went for Bahamut because I saw this this person is kind of like a Justice seeker and bahamama is the dragon God of Justice so that just kind of worked for me yeah I mean we we can get into the backstory of how these characters got together maybe at the end after the kind of builds are done cuz I kind of want to get that over with first next up the gloves of belligerent Skies whenever the wearer deals thunder lightning or radiant damage you inflict two turns of reverberation upon your target Spirit Guardians counts towards this and so does our weapon strikes meaning that we can very easily stack reverberation with this build reverberation for those of you that don't know basically make it makes it so the enemy has a negative one penalty to their physical saving throws per remaining turn and once they have five or more they take a bit of Thunder damage and can fall prone uh basically just another really decent status condition that's going to increase our DPS and our overall Battlefield control capability and it synergizes really nicely with our play style so I wanted to include it here and finally the boots of striding one of the worst things that can happen when you're concentrating on a powerful um a conc ation spell is being noted prone therefore immediately but losing concentration the boots of striding helps us out in a couple of ways number one it prevents us from being knocked prone while concentrating or even being moved against our will also whenever we cast a spell that requires concentration we gain momentum for one turn increasing our movement speed for that turn meaning that on our first turn that we cast Spirit Guardians we can move around the map even more spreading that damage as we go next up for our accessories we have the perac of wound closure because we are a cleric on a cleric team at the end of the day uh we are going to be getting healed quite a lot so when we're being healed we might as well always uh restore the maximum possible number of hit points because that just makes sense allowing us to stay in the fight even longer this just felt quite fmatic but honestly you can pop whatever you like in this slot and the next up of two kind of just extra damage on your weapon attack Rings namely the cotic band adding a flat two acid damage to all attacks and the strange conduit ring while concentrating on a spell our weapon attacks steal an additional D4 psychic damage and well because we're always going to be concentrating on Spirit Guardians most likely this is just more damage so stacking everything together we are going to be doing a lot of damage on our single attack again this plus Divine strike plus Spirit Guardians plus blah blah blah blah blah everything is going to really add up on this build I was also quite impressed with myself being able to make a cleric with no healing spells I don't know we also have interesting control spells like blindness and silence as well and hold person and hold monster can make us really strong guaranteeing Critical Hits and keeping enemies in place if we decide we don't want to cast cast Spirit Guardians right in that moment but we'll have other allies that can do stuff like that as well but yeah that is the first build a kind of Frontline fighter that can do a lot for us again I mean this build would probably be stronger if you went with like Paladin or fighter levels but again we're trying to stick with just cleric here and I really like the kind of vibe that this build goes for the kind of you know I'm going to approach you and when I do you're going to die really really like the idea of this build so let's get into the next one this is our healer build a life cleric of ill Mar if they could stand up for me that would be lovely so I went with a life cleric of Il Mar here and just so you know like since like ill Mar is like the god of like suffering and taking on pain and such like that or like not God of suffering but like taking on suffering for others I kind of like the idea of having a teeing with broken horns and like the um the tear drop mascara type deal to represent like the crying God I'm honestly I was honestly kind of proud of this of this character's design regardless uh this is our healer character we are a life domain cleric that being El Mar's domain and as such we're going to be kind of focusing on healing with this build so this is going to be a fairly standard healing build at the end of the day nothing too crazy here but again if we want to make a single class cleric and we want to really capture the essence of the cleric as much as we can then of course it makes sense to make a Healer so with this build like I said this is kind of our primary support healer build uh we're going to be getting a lot of healing spells obviously we get preserved life as our kind of Channel Divinity action which is just a really nice big stack of flat healing getting things like Aid and heroes Feast to really stack up our Max HP to make the whole party way more tanky heal which is just a really fun of thematic spell to get kind of towards the end cure wounds uh Mass kill wounds Mass healing word the basic healing spells revivify remove curse speak with dead cuz that kind of fell on theme uh freedom of movement uh spel evil and good we're getting all of those kind of buffing and supporting spells blast Waring bond that make us really feel like we're here to support the team this character is basically going to be constantly focused on healing if you do use them but they do still have range to attacking options like guing bolt and at the end of the day they still can use a I I have them I have them equipped with a short sword here because it's a finesse weapon but clerics usually don't get access to finesse weapons I'll be honest I really didn't know what to put in this slot because this character is not focused on attacking at all uh you can still use the weapon but honestly you can throw like a fla or a m or whatever on here maybe even a Quarter Staff if you wanted to focus on like the spell casting aspect uh it's entirely up to you I totally didn't forget that uh clerics don't get short Soul proficiency before making this video totally didn't do that yeah okay so ignore that uh the rest of the kind of B like basically slap whatever melee weapon you want on here it's really not going to matter and like I say any Shield also going to work but let's look at the main thing here which is the equipment which is obviously what can help make a healing build shine uh for us we are going to have a oh I did also throw uh the lucky feat on this build as well before I get into anything else cuz again being the support build I kind of wanted to have a way of kind of like helping out our allies that wasn't just healing uh so the luck the lucky uh feat gives us the ability to roll our enemies attacks uh making it so they're less likely to hit our um allies so it's just a nice little way of support so I quite like the Lucky Feet on this build but it's entirely up to you if you want to change that up anyways the equipment for real this time first up we have Weir's Crown whenever we heal someone the wear regains an additional 1d6 hit hit points I heard you liked healing so I put some healing and your healing uh basically this is just more healing we want to heal as much as we can with a single spell allowing us to not have to heal as much but even though our whole focus is healing but then we can do a bit more support we also have the mantle of the Holy Warrior here allowing us to to cast Crusader's mantle once per short rest without using a spell slot basically this is the way we're going to be using Crusader's mantle instead of kind of casting it with our actual um casting it with our actual spell slots an cadus mantle is a great concentration spell for us since we're not really going to be focusing on other concentration spells most of the time with the exclusion with the exception of one per long rest uh you can already see what it is uh and we basic this basically would allow all of our allies to gain an extra bit of radiant damage on their attacks making all of us a bit more effective in melee combat mainly this is for our war cleric but it's a nice buff to have next up uh we just have the floored hell dusk armor uh basically I just needed a decent piece of heavy armor for this build and I thought you know what this is a nice mid game armor that you can pick up around next two and it basically just means that when you are hit by a fo within 2 meters they take a little bit of fire damage uh kind of on theme for a tling and you get a bit of tininess against piercing damage really just can beat any heavy armor since life clerics also get heavy armor so feel free to throw whatever you like in this slot I just kind of wanted to show off a cool looking armor design in my opinion but and this is just a really decent armor that you can get fairly early on in the game uh but again put whatever you like in this slot next up the Reviving hands whenever we heal the creature it gains the effects of Blade Ward making it resistant to physical damage when and when we revive a creature it gains the effects of death Ward meaning that if it dies again it instead survives of 1 HP it also gives us the ability to use revivifying without spending a spell slot once per long rest basically this is just the perfect set of healer gloves although these are an act three option however the Act One variant of these gloves is just as good pretty much whenever it's the hell Rider's Pride you can get this right away an act one and whenever you heal another creature it gains resistance against blooding piercing and slashing damage dealt by weapon attacks so that's just a long way of saying blade Ward so basically the big upgrade from these gloves to the act three gloves are Reviving hands is the fact that they Al is that you also get death w when Reviving so the hell R displ is actually good enough the Reviving hands are just a slight upgrade so really this build comes online a bit earlier and finally a set of Footwear I've never actually used on the channel before it's the boots of Aid and comfort when when the wearer heals a Target it gains three temporary hit points so on a big group heal everyone gets three temporary HP you never know when those three points could make a difference it felt on themed to include this in this build but obviously you can put something else here if you so desire as for the accessories we have the Amulet of The Devout now this does give us a plus two bonus to our spell save DC and realistically you can put this amulet on any of the builds in this uh in in this uh video but I decided to put it on this one cuz the other ones kind of had other thematic kind of amulets and this one this um build didn't really have like a healing amulet so I decided to put it on this one to give us an additional use of Channel Divinity uh once per long rest so essentially another preserve life and since preserve life is one one of the more powerful Channel Divinity options that we have here I wanted to use it here because again we get more healing but again you can throw this on any of the cleric builds in this video and it will still work wonders for you my personal recommendation would be the light cleric build if you wanted to slap this on a different one next up for our Rings obviously we have the two healing Rings the ring of salving restores an additional two hit points every time you heal another creature so that's two plus an extra 1d6 on top of the healing you'd already be doing plus granting resistance plus granting three temporary HP like this is nuts like I will be surprised if you're running this build if characters ever die in your playthrough maybe on Ona mode but honestly I think a dedicated healer with all of this equipment can be really really strong in Ona mode and obviously the whispering promise meaning that whenever we heal a creature it gains a 1 D4 bonus to attack rules and saving throws for two turns so not only are we healing everybody we're also giving them bless for for free just for healing without needing to concentrate on it this is awesome like I know this is pretty much the standard healing kit that I've shown off a few times in builds but I can't stress enough just how powerful this can be Pure Healing with all of the equipment stacked up is just insane providing Barbarian levels of resistance on top of bless with just all of the healing that you're doing again with stacking this with Aid and Hero's Feast I I don't see how you can die with this character in your party I'm sure I'll be proven wrong and finally one person in this party had to have it we've got the dark fire short bow it gives you resistance to Fire and cold damage which feels just on theme for a tling and it gives us a usage of haste once per long rest again our only other real big concentration spell here for us here is uh Crusader mantle or perhaps Beacon of Hope more so Crusaders mantle but if you don't feel like focusing on either of those then haste on our warm is essentially going to make them a full Marshall Fighter for us which is great meaning that we can just send them in to do all of their attacks and increases their movement speed and their Armor class movement speed for more Spirit Guardian Shenanigans and armor class for tankiness basically these two builds go hand in hand they the war Master runs in takes a lot of damage and um with spirit and does a lot of damage with Spirit Guardians and then the dark fire short bow bust them with haste to make them do more damage and then this build heals them up they are the perfect cleric Duo so yeah that is the second build uh this whole armor set is colored in harlequinn black and white Dy if you want to recreate this look and like I said throw any melee weapon on here it's entirely up to you next up kind of filling the Blaster Caster spot for this team is the light cleric uh why is she so short in okay I know I'm trying to make videos that easy to listen to but I can't explain like like the visual that is on the screen right now she is like the character in the inventory is is sitting hold on that's better she was really really she was sitting down so you could just like see her head and the shield was just clipping through her it was funny anyways so with this build this is our Blaster Caster like I said we've gone for a light cleric of Leander original I know but I feel like it just best encapsulates encapsulates what I'm trying to go for here basically big damage on spell attacks I'm talking flame strike destructive wave wall of fire Fireball scorching Ray burning hands guiding bolts inflict wounds harm uh insect plague every damaging spell a cleric can get hell Glyph of warding and flaming sphere here both produced flame and sacred flame we are just the Blaster caster for our party even our Channel Divinity option does massive amounts of radiant damage in an area around us there is a ton to love with this build basically just doing big big damage um and I really really like this build I again I love Blaster casters and the ability to be able to make one especially that's pyro themed just felt so nice again this build is going to be probably aside from the war cter this is going to be your main damage dealer just being able to put out those massive amounts of damage with like things like flame strike uh but overall and also I have thrown um spell sniper on the this build to get us fire bolt so we could have a Firebase can trip as well dealing 3d10 fire damage and also rolling a critical hit on a 19 or higher and it uses our wisdom because that's how spell sniper works that is the only feet on this build but again it just kind of gives us that almost sorcerer esque feel and of course with our 20 wisdom we're going to be pretty powerful now yes I will say this uh light cleric does get the uh level eight feature potent cantrip which in theory would which well not in Theory it does Boost our cleric C trips uh damage equal to our wisdom modifier essentially agonizing blast but for uh cleric canant trips notice how I said cleric can trips though that means produce flame and sacred flame not the firebol that we got from spell sniper because it is not part of the cleric spell nist we got it from a feat boo I know it's a shame but honestly because um honestly produce flame is probably the better choice overall really but getting Firebolts still was a nice extra option as well cuz again uh it's kind of that like orange fire like all the other spells are and spell sniper is still nice that if you wanted to go for any of these big spells you have a higher chance to crit with them which you'll see in the combat footage that that happened quite a lot so yeah overall big Blaster Caster with a focus on fire and radiant damage and is going to really just help with the overall damage output of the team next up is the equipment though and we have the blood of Leander because of course we do we've made a Leander cleric let's give them the blood of Leander once prolong rest when our hit points are reduced to zero we regain a bit of hit points and stand back up Allies also regain a little bit of hit points this uh weapon shines a brght light around us and Undead could become blinded so that's nice as well as the ability to cast Sunbeam at level six once per long rest so one big final radiant blast in addition to everything else we can do which I love and weirdly enough clerics don't get Sunbeam that feels wrong I know it's true but that feels so wrong that I'm going to check anyway that's how wrong it feels yep clerics do not get Sunbeam that feels so wrong but hey at least we get it here and it makes sense the amount of times I've had to double check my info in thisit video anyways so let's get into the equipment first off we have to hat a fire accurity whenever we deal fire damage we gain Arcane accurity for two turns and this can stack up to 10 turns I believe and for every time we have stacked we gain a plus one bonus to spell attack roles and spell difficulty class meaning that our spells are even more likely to hit but however we reduce the duration by two we lose two stacks every time we take damage but I feel like it's pretty good we're always going to be dealing fire damage in some shape or another anyway so being able to just use that to make each of our subsequent spells more likely to hit is great eventually we'll basically just shoot off a couple of spells and enemies will not be able to escape you next up this build has the adamantine scale mail uh this is not one of those subclasses that gets heavy armor proficiency so medium armor is the best we can get and this is a pretty good set 16 base Armor class combined with our uh 14 decks and our Shield gives us a total of 20 AC as well as the ability to reduce all incoming damage by one slightly less than heavy armor variant and uh attacks against us send the attacker reeling which makes some have weaker attack rolles and critical hits can be landed against us again we're very very tanky with this build we also have the Luminous gloves because of course we do this is a kind of light cleric getting radiating orb makes sense we have two characters now on this team that can spread radiating orb the war Master with their weapon and us with these gloves meaning that there's a bit of Team Synergy there when the wear deals radiant damage I mean which I mean look at us I mean hell the blood of the ther will do that for us everything most of our spells will do that for us but basically whenever we deal radiant damage heck even if we're under Crusaders mantle or use our Channel Divinity uh the targets that get hits will receive two turn of radiating orbs so basically just more tankiness for the whole party because enemies have a reduced chance to hit and finally the boots of Elemental momentum whenever the wearer casts acid called fire for us specifically lightning or thunder damage of a spell can trip they gain momentum for two turns this is just going to allow us to move around the battlefield a bit easier I've gone with a halfling build here so that extra movement speed is nice but of course you don't have to do that that was just a personal choice uh basically this just mean this is just kind kind of a throwaway slot you can swap this out for whatever you like but I've never really shown these off on the channel before I don't think so I thought I would include these here again that extra movement speed for being able to get it out of tricky situations is always nice uh as for our accessories we have the necklace of Elemental augmentation since we have a couple of C trips here that deal fire damage let's add our spellcasting ability modifier to them with produced flame our spelling spell casting modifier gets added twice thanks to potent krip as well as now Firebolt does get that boost as well even though it's only one stack of it and of course because we are doing radiating ortion anigan and Illuminating things with light we grab the two light based Rings the coruscation ring basically inflicts um radiating orb whenever we deal spell damage to an illuminated Target so we shed our own light deal spell damage within that light and that person gets radiating orb which also spreads light so it kind of becomes it's a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts and next up is the callous glow ring if a creature is illuminated either by radiating orb or by weapon light they take an additional two points of damage from all sources that we create so cool just more damage and as for our and I believe I forgot to mention the shield we do actually have the shield of scorching reprisal here because it's got a fire theme to it it allows us to it gains gives us resistance to fire damage which just feels right for this build and this unique ability blazing retaliation allowing us to huddle behind the shield increasing our AC by one and any attacker that misses us with with a melee attack while we are in this state takes 1 D6 fire damage and we can use this as a bonus action once per short rest so again just a bit of an on theme kind of ability here uh this whole armor set is colored with the black and furnace red Dy because it didn't actually really put too much red but more of a blackish brown mixed with gold and kind of like the metal bits of the armor which I thought looked really nice so I feel felt like showing that off here and so yeah that is our kind of blaster cter build again basically just a pyromancer with a bit of radiant stuff which is what life cleric light Life Light cleric is and finally my personal favorite of these builds are the knowledge cleric GIF Yankee because while uh the other clerics have all served deities that are well established in game this guy serves orus now I know orus is not a deity in the traditional sense but hell nea's V if so I'm going to count it I believe this guy would have just discovered the truth about black one way or another and I would say is also kind of the de facto leader of this group maybe after being able to flee V's influence he found Comfort within a church within a church of EMB Boulder's Gate and ended up Gathering some like-minded individuals from different faiths in order to take down a great of threat but then of course the nautiloid comes not long after but this GIF Yankee cleric comes with a pretty interesting kit we're playing knowledge domain and also by playing a GI Yankee we have access to give Yankees unique equipment as well of why I won't be using some of the more powerful options here as you'll see in a minute basically long story short a knowledge domain cleric has is basically a cleric but with a psychic focus and also kind of a like mind power Focus as well again literally the knowledge domain we're all about acquiring knowledge specifically mixing uh the channel Divinity feature of knowledge cleric knowledge of the ages giving us Proficiency in all skills of a shows and ability with the uh if Yankee racial ability astral knowledge that does the same thing to get proficiency and all skills of two abilities this is the kind of most powerful skill monkey build in the game and since this the one thing this party is kind of lacking is a party face this character can now fulfill that role with a 14 in Charisma yeah the stat spread is a bit weirder on this one but again I wanted to cover a lot of different bases here we still have decent Constitution being at 16 dexterity at 12 is a bit me since we are wearing medium armor but we do make up for that with our shield and other such things but Charisma and Intelligence being fairly well at least middling at least allows us to be a more effective party face for the whole party again with those two skills and like I said fitting in with being a gif Yankee we do get access to a ton of psychic spells dominate person telekinesis AO resilience sphere banishment confusion slow which is awesome I love that this class gets slow hold person hold monster we get all of this cool stuff actually no hold monster isn't in those on on this one oh I guess that was the war cleric that got hold mon hold Monster not this one oh well Spread spread the utility I guess my bad but anyways yeah we get so many cool thematic spells that felt just right for GI Yan we also get a couple of unique class features that I've not really gotten to show off we get the ability to just read thoughts as a channel Divinity we also get the ability to speak with animals as Channel Divinity yeah that's two kind of basic spells using our Channel Divinity slots but hey we're only ever going to be spending it on knowledge of the ages so getting another free one to kind of get these two uh abilities that can make us an even more effective party face it's actually kind of nice uh the fact that the the read thoughts does require concentration still does suck there would have been a cool Niche if it didn't you could just kind of have this up until your next long rest that would have actually been pretty cool but they didn't give us that however speak of animals as always doesn't require concentration so I probably just cast knowledge of the ages and speak with animals but we also do get all the usual cleric stuff as well in addition to that but I kind of went for more of a kind of Summoner SL uh you know information gatherer Vibe so we got speak with dead animate Dead create Undead and pl pler Ally uh as well as you know things like contagion to kind of control the battlefield alongside all of our other um what do you call them kind of like control spells and Glyph of warding to have a ver like a kind of uh big damaging spell that we can use that has lots of different variants including like a sleep variant which is also kind of psychic themed again this guy is basically the good guy GI Yankee cleric of orus who is looking to free orus as well so there's kind of a story arc to follow through with that now onto the equipment which helps make this build we'll get over the weapons first since it's definitely the least important thing the gify Yan shortsword it's a gif Yankee weapon that looks kind of cool with the build again this is not the character that's going to be in the front line attacking we've got of three different we got two different characters here who are damage focus and one is healing Focus this one is Battlefield control focused using these powerful concentration spells to keep the battlefield in check and using things like telekinesis Glyph of Waring or hack even flame strike or guiding bolt to deal damage so we're still mainly a spellcaster here we don't really need to focus on the melee aspect but we do have the shield of devotion here giving us an extra level one spell slot taking us to five which is above what the UI is actually capable of showing and uh we also gain you know it's standard shield B stuff in the AC which does give us a bit more defense but again this is the lowest AC of the group so feel free to keep this guy in the back next up let's get into some of the fun gift Yankee equipment including the circlet of psionic Revenge whenever we succeed a saving throw which we will do quite a lot with this build um the fo that calls the throw takes a bit of psychic damage and also we gain a plus one bonus to all of our intelligence wisdom and Charisma saving throws which is nice next up we also have the nyph cloak giving us a use of dominate person once per long rest without needing to use a spell slot makeing forcing a creature to fight alongside us next up the psionic ward armor since we're a gift Yankee this gives us resistance to psychic damage which felt super on theme so I wanted to pick it up and anytime we succeed a saving through against a spell and remember we can do that quite a lot we regain a bit of HP so even though we have a dedicated healer on the build it's still a nice little thing to have next up the Herer braces we can Now cast Mage hand as a bonus action which is fun we now kind of get that other psychic element as well as the ability to cast inesis once per short rest and with telekinesis we can throw things around throw enemies around dealing damage that way and once you cast telekinesis once you can keep casting it as long as you maintain concentration without spending more spell slots uh and since you would short rest after every combat this is basically just like having telekinesis in your kit for free just just for equipping armbands it stops us from having to use our spell slots on it and we would also get it a bit earlier than we would get it just by leveling so it's a nice option to and again it kind of completes the GIF Yan look speaking of completing the GIF Yan look the boots a pionic movement whenever a gif Yan cars fly which this which these boots also let us do our next melee weapon attack deals an additional 1 de4 damage which is purely a fashion throwaway options stick whatever you like on in here the boots of speed could be good anything would work in the slot hell the evasive shoes if you want that little bit of Xtra AC but again I really wanted to complete that gif yany look cuz it just felt right for this build and I really like how it turned out next up for for our amulet we have the aberration Hunters amulet a g Yan wearing this amulet has advantage on intelligent saving throws again another way to make those saving throws which is nice aberration also have disadvantage on attack roles against us when we're fighting all those mind flares in act three uh they're going to have a really hard time dealing damage to us we also gain a unique action called ancient grudges allowing us to touch the amulet to gain a sliver of the knowledge of the GIF you gain an advantage on attack rolls against aberration as a bonus action for three turns once per short rest so we are a mind FL a killer but we're also going to be going after vth as well shifting Corpus ring this just gives us some more kind of trixy spells that felt on theme this is kind of a throwaway slot so feel free to change this one up but this does give us invisibility and blur each once per long rest again just some more fun thematic spells and also the Ring of mental inhibition whenever a throw fails a saving throw against one of our spells or actions they gain mental fatigue for two turns mental fatigue causes the effect entity to have a negative one penalty to their mental saving throws and when it fails a wisdom or intelligence or Charisma saving throw while it has five or more turns of this condition remaining The Entity takes a D4 psychic damage and is no longer fatigued basically what this means is as we're casting these control spells for each one we successfully cast our enemy is going to have a harder time uh succeeding subsequent ones making us even more powerful as we go uh I didn't include a feat on this build but an optional one I did consider was actually magic and initiate uh Bard giving us uh vicious mockery as a powerful kind of uh psychic can trip that we could use over and over again and with that you could replace the shifting Corpus ring with the um oh what's it called the band of the Mystic scoundrel to kind of make a diant version of my psionic warrior which I actually was thinking of doing a remastered version of soon so let me know if you want to see that for those of you that don't know that's one of my older more popular builds that was an ALR Knight wizard uh GI Yan so let me know if you would like to see that one remastered I'm definitely thinking I might do that one uh but yeah oh and the reason also we get a short sword on this build is cuz give Yankee get short sword proficiency so there you go uh so yeah that is the builds overall what we're going to be getting out of this party composition is well all the best parts of cleric rolled into one we gain a blaster cast through light a powerful Marshall fighter through War a an amazing her through healer through life an incredible Battlefield control through knowledge all of these characters have their own unique strengths that they bring to the table despite having a fairly similar spell list where domains really do shake things up and maybe again if I went with something like Tempest or nature I could create an even more varied combination but again since I'm doing more build in this series for every class I wanted to save nature and Tempest for the for the for the like kind of full sub classes or classes that make better use of those themes however if you would like to see a followup to this video maybe after the series is completed where I cover the rest of those uh subclasses let me know overall honestly I'm kind of mixed on this one I'll be perfectly honest I feel like I've maybe I sat down for it a little bit longer I may have been able to come up with something a bit more unique but again I really wanted to just capture the essence of the cleric and kind of what that basic class kind of gives you again if I went for certain Feats and this that and the other thing I could have come out with yet another great weapon Master build which would have been a bit more powerful but in my opinion it would have felt less cleric and more just like a worst fighter of Paladin and I didn't really want to go for that I wanted to go for something that felt uniquely cleric across all of these builds and I think I have achieved that I do think I play to the strengths of each of the builds uh like kind of themes quite well and I really like the idea of again this runaway uh GIF Yankee who becomes a cleric of orus who kind of maybe because of the tle and that psychic connection and like the kind of like close proximity he gets to him and such like that maybe he was a the honor guard at some point like him basically having that connection to orus that gives him that power cuz again maybe that maybe that more holy power does come from a different place but it's inspired by his faith and orus and maybe it's granted to him because of that and then him Gathering like you know the cleric of Hill Mar who maybe worked in the open hand temple in bal's Gate before everything went down and was like a really who and was a Healer who came from a tragic back story or something like that again those broken horns on a tling can tell a lot of stories that mirror ill Mar's kind of theming and then we have the halfling who has the burning who has the burn mark on their face who now all of a sudden is a light cleric of Leander spreading fire and Radiance wherever they go and then we have the war master who is this big hulking uh warw woman like almost am amazoness who's kind of come in and maybe and like I say is a paladin or not a paladin a um a cleric of Bahamut who has a strong sense of justice and maybe there's a reason for that like I'm leaving the Back stories for each of these characters a bit B more open-ended but I think that's because as a team I think they work quite nicely together I think they do play off of each other's strengths quite well and as you can see in the combat footage that is currently playing this build these builds do support each other really really nicely again the healing and the different uh offensive potentials that each of these builds have and the battlefield control from the GIF Yan build it all just works together on my usual testing encounter that you're seeing here like it just like we were never in any danger the healing was just too potent and the fact that we got access to these summons as well really really just just go just goes to show exactly what these builds are capable of when at full power obvious and of and because we are a single class build party again the progression is going to feel quite natural not having to multiclass will get specific equipment right away to basically get what the builds are about which is again the unique class features uh basically all of these builds would feel pretty good to play throughout the game um I have to say if I was to pick one of these builds that was my favorite is is definitely the knowledge cleric and I think a dedicated orus build is definitely in the future or at least maybe like like a chosen of orus or something a bit similar to the deity build series but obviously orus technically isn't a deity what have you right uh there's definitely something to that so I will be exploring that Concept in the future more but that is going to be it for this video like I said comment below which class you would like to see next I personally think that Rogue is going to be the winner because of the previous results but be sure to prove me WR if you want to see something else uh Bard was also pretty close and I think I've got unique ideas for all of the classes uh Bard especially I've got a really really fun idea for uh that I think could actually be really interesting that I think a lot of people will go oh my God that's so clever like kind of once you realize it but um you know uh but yeah no I'm really enjoying this series um the only other thing I will say is that obviously this is going up on the Wednesday which means yesterday you will have seen a certain video uh which was a channel update and obviously as you guys know uh I don't plan to be doing bcap 3 builds forever I'm probably going to stop sometime within the next few months and as such some other content is going to be popping up here and there so if you see some seemingly random uploads uh please feel free to give them a look because they will be basically what I'm planning as my next bit of content bit of main content on the channel so feel free to kind of peruse and see what you like and dislike and be sure to give me feedback on that uh but yeah uh that is the video I think I don't think there's anything much more for me to say so thank you all so much for watching and I will see you all next time
