[Music] can Marina's brothers be saved this appears to be a very tricky task and players haven't seemed to come up with a reliable way to do it so perhaps their death is the canonical narrative and saving them signifies a departure from the intended storyline I've read plenty of posts saying how Players Knock the brothers unconscious just to prevent them from going into the swamp I know that if you're playing as a gorgeous Ranger with an adorable pig animal companion there would be a special dialogue that would save them from their terrible fate I don't remember bloody asking you hold on Joel talk what would you suggest but you don't have to create a ranger character just for the sole purpose of saving them I have no idea if this was only introduced in patch nine but every class can actually save them it requires specific responses in the dialogue and one wrong answer will Doom them immediately this you're here sweetie I while they're confronting anti-ethylford choosing option two will turn them hostile and you'll be forced to kill the very people you wish to save or you can use non-lethal attacks to knock them unconscious as some players have suggested good from a role play perspective perhaps but Marina will still respond as though they're dead they're also dead if you choose option three bollocks anti-ethyl will kill them on the spot none of this matters all right we need to get her back and fast offering to help save marina will actually Doom Joel and Demir not a chance we're getting her back on our own now come on I intentionally ran past them here hoping to intervene when the red caps attack them [Music] but their corpses were teleported near the ancient ruins they didn't find their sister you won't be able to prevent them from dying whoever or whatever did this could be close this will be Marina's reaction when she hears what happened to her brothers that can't be true Auntie Ethel they were being rude and I detest rudeness [Music] enough away would you in order to save the brothers you need to side with them throughout their confrontation with anti-ethyl careful don't trust a word out of her mouth our sister went to the hug and we ain't seen her since choose option three here after Ethel leaves I think it's normal for most players to immediately offer to help save Marine unfortunately this would actually Doom her brothers at the hands of the red caps as we've already seen instead wish them luck on finding her or say you have enough problems of your own and weave no need of a mouthy bastard come on damir we'll make our own way [Music] no corpses here means they're alive the dialogue with Marina and anti-ethyl will also be different now my brothers you saw them they stopped by to pass on their congratulations said they'll be waiting for you at home oh but why didn't they come in to see me Odell left was a message which I passed on didn't I don't be stressing hush setting the girl with such things when pressed further Auntie Ethel will even say where they're currently at cheeky thing Farm north of Baldur's Gate if you like Sutton Farm north of Baldur's Gate I'll be sure to head there when the full game is out another interesting piece of information if you attack anti-ethyl and defeat her before she can Retreat one of the masked Guardians will say this the dialogue is unfinished and some parts have no audio yet but she'll say there are many more hags in the Realms and I suppose she's going to hunt them you're right I don't feel her anymore she's really gone if it weren't for you I would have ended up like the others hollowed out and as good as dead sheer desperation my mother's mind is gone she's forgotten herself tried medicine Magic prayer I'd have begged Merkel himself if I thought he'd listen heard about this wise woman out in the back end of nowhere who could help I knew it was too good to be true but I didn't care home to Boulder's Gate this isn't over yet certainly something to look forward to just a quick video this time thanks for watching
