Baldur's Gate 3 | Every CLASS In 30 Seconds - Which Class Is Right For You?

commit so we're going to go over each one quickly with no fluff so you can pick out the one that stands out to you most think about which class options you currently are leaning towards and then tell me in the comments at the end if you've changed your mind we don't want to waste your time with convoluted explanations so let's jump into it the Barbarian Fierce melee Warriors that can enter a literal rage in battle granting bonus damage resistances and advantage on strength related checks and saving throws with a focus on strength and Constitution as your main stats the Barbarian is one to pick if you want to be a melee Powerhouse and you just enjoy smashing things your subclass options for the Barbarian are the Berserker favoring violence and fury the wild heart which will allow you to be attuned more so to Nature and beasts and wild magic allowing you to manifest the otherworldly Magics of your ancestors and then we have bards versatile and witty these are considered a support class but don't let that put you off with their extremely powerful bardic inspiration they can buff your team members with an extra D6 dice to almost any role making them useful in almost all situations these are extremely powerful and helpful characters to have in pretty much every party with both spells that Empower allies and hinder enemies your focus will be on your charisma stats and you have three college options for your subclasses law for the pursuit of knowledge Beauty and Truth Valor to relate the Deeds of the mighty and Inspire future Heroes and swords to favor weapon prowess and stunts as you become a blade and then we have the Druid with Master over nature magic and the power to transform into actual animals for both combat and utility this is an Adaptive class that can function as a helpful spell Caster or impactful melee damage sponge wisdom is your primary main focus stat and the class is quite versatile depending on how you want to play it your subclasses include the circle of the land to focus on nature spells the the circle of the Moon to empower your wild-shaped animal forms and the circle of spores allowing you to lead into the natural decaying of all things you'll have a focus on fungi mold and spores then there's the cleric wielding Divine Magics and representing the gods the cleric is the perfect choice if you want a character focused around faith in a deity and a more traditional healing role with a focus on the wisdom stat you have quite a few options for which domain subclass you want to dive into this is a class to pick if you want to be the backbone of your party then we have the fighter masters of the art of combat wielding both armor and a variety of weapon options the fighters are going to be part of your front line and you can tailor them to specific roles for offense or defense you're likely going to be focusing on strength and Constitution and you do have ways to access spells depending on your future subclass and speaking of subclasses you can either become a Battle Master an Eldritch Knight or a champion then you have the monk if martial arts is your thing then look no further the monk harnesses the power of their physical and spiritual body through the use of their key if you want to rapidly strike enemies with your fists or unlock your inner elemental powers then you're in the right place with a focus on dexterity and wisdom as your stats you won't be reliant on weapons and armor as much as other classes your subclass options include the way of the Open Hand the way of the Shadow and the way of the four elements making you basically the Avatar himself then we have the Paladin swarm Protectors of justice and righteousness the Paladin acts as a mix of both the cleric and the fighter capable of both devastating offense but also support you're going to have to swear an oath and need to stick to it otherwise you will become a dark oath breaker strength will be your primary ability and your oath can be of devotion of ancients or of Vengeance and of course the oath breaker if you do end up breaking that oath and next we have the ranger if you want to live out the Legolas stream the ranger excels at tracking and hunting favorite enemy types and with a deep connection to Nature and surviving the ranger can perform in both melee and range situations your primary stat is dexterity and your subclasses can go into the hunter the Gloom stalker or The Beastmaster which even allows you to bring an animal companion into combat with you the hunter focuses on slaying and hunting dangerous prey while the Gloom stalker lets you embrace the Shadows favoring ambushing threats and stalking the evils that look within those shadows and speaking of lurking in the shadows next is the Rogue you're specialized in stealth skill and reflexes the Rogue is sure to have the upper hand in any situation even if it isn't honorable if you like hitting enemies hard and fast often from the Shadows then look no further the Rogue is a devastating damage dealer and with those sneak attacks you're due to leave an impact in pretty much every combat scenario dexterity will be your primary stat to no one's surprise and your subclass options are the thief the Arcane trickster and the Assassin but if spell casting is your jam then you might want to go sorcerer these have natural skill and inherent magic and the Sorcerer often has a a spell for any situation your subclass options vary from Wild magic to add a bit of random chaos to your playthrough draconic Bloodlines to empower you as a powerful Dragon ancestor or storm sorcery making you more mobile and resistant to thunder and lightning Charisma is your primary stat making you a good option to be the face of your party and if you aren't afraid of demons and Powerful patrons then the Warlock allows you to embrace the supernatural gaining unique Magics and power much like the sorcerer Charisma is your primary stat making you deceptively Charming for carrying such a dangerous power you'll basically have to make a deal with the devil but if you are okay with that then your subclasses include the Fiend The Great old one and the arch Fey and then we have the wizard The Masters of the Arcane and Scholars of the Magics a wizard is a bit of a bookworm this is because they can learn spells from Scrolls making them highly versatile in what Magics they can cast intelligence is your primary stat so you might be a bit of a know-it-all however by combining ancient spells with modern research you'll be able to leave an impact and impression in battle through your crazy spells with lots of different schools of magic to learn as a subclass you can specialize into different magical types to favor your party composition
