Are you Ready, Baldur's Gate 3 Proposed Minimum Requirements for smooth Gaming. i5-4690 8G GTX970

here is the equipment we're going to need to  test the minimum requirements proposed to play   Baldur's Gate 3 smoothly by Larian Studio and I'm  really happy to do this test today with Baldur's   Gate I love those game let's not wait too long and  jump right away in building that PC so we can play   Baldur's Gate welcome to respawn PC I'm Dunk let's  dive in so the minimum requirement is Windows 10   Intel i5-4690 or AMD FX-8350 I'm going with the  Intel side memory 8 gig of RAM so it'll be two   times 4 gigabyte Graphics GTX 970 or RX 480. I'm  going with the Nvidia side and 150 gig of SSD it   will be a one terabyte from Crucial first off  the motherboard is a Asus q87m-e a nice little   motherboard that can overclock some stuff and I've  update the BIOS to the 3801 which is 2019 and was   improved performance that's a nice fix to have to  on the motherboard I guess the CPU is the I5-4690   which came out in 2014 I think it's a 4 core 4  thread CPU with a 3.5 gigahertz of speed and a   3.9 turbo even if the motherboard can overclock it  I'm not going to do so for the purpose of most of   people they didn't do it and probably won't do it  the memory will be 2 times 4 gigabyte of DDR3 at   16 megahertz later on I'm going to add another 2  times 4 gigabyte to make a 16 test drive for the   graphic card I'm using the Asus Strix GTX 970  it's a four gigabyte ddr5 gddr5 graphic cards   which is the minimum for this test and for the  storage I'm using a Crucial one terabyte SSD   SATA drive because that board doesn't support m.2  so first when you start the game the preset load   everything at medium for the auto detect all  your Hardware it's a nice minimum requirement   if you can play a medium as a minimum requirement  then the screen 1080P and I've locked the FPS at   60fps because the screen don't support the higher  end obviously if someone having a PC of that age   probably don't have a screen that is worth more  than it and with those minimum requirements Larian   Studio said that is going to be run smoothly and  I can tell you that it runs extremely smoothly 60   FPS all the time some few drop here and there  but the game run without any issue and this is   still only the Early Access for this kind of game  it's not the FPS so 60 FPS I'm pretty sure it's   not mandatory so let's try to squeeze out a bit  more of juice of that graphic card and push the   resolution another resolution the preset to high  after trying to get the guy stuck in the ceiling   he'd die in the ceiling I upgrade the setting  the presets to high just preset High didn't   touch anything else and jump right away into a  cutscene the cutscene was running in the 45 FPS   but after the cutscene finish we're finally able  to play a little bit more and still was in the   60 FPS sometimes dropping a bit in the 40. and  still quite really smooth now with 16 gigabytes   everything stabilized to 60 FPS and the low 50s  so highly playable super smooth I guess they were   Ultra conservative with the minimum requirement  for their game still in Early Access and was able   to play that smoothly let's try to push that to  ultra I never thought I was going to do that but   I'm going to try Ultra with the minimum Advertiser  minimum propose for the requirement for this game   and at Ultra the FPS is under 30 over 20 so let's  say 25 and since it's not a high-paced game it's   highly playable still smooth probably going to  be a pain when you reach a cutscene but I'm quite   surprised that was really unexpected anyway for  the next video I'm going to check out if we can   find the real minimum requirement for this game  which should be in 720p 30fps with I guess lower   graphic card lower memory older CPU I guess you  can play on the office laptop this was a short   and easy video I hope we see you next time to see  what's the real minimum requirement for this game
