i don't know whether it's age or just missing my dad he was been in heaven seven years ago just a few days ago and it seems like this time of the year that i think of him all the time it might sound strange to you but i haven't had the uh even after seven years i haven't had the ability to delete his phone number from my cell phone don't know that i ever will but uh i thank god for a christian dad many of you know my dad was a pastor for over 60 years and went home to be with the lord at 83. my mother is a saint my dad was not but my mother is a saint as you might imagine my dad was a little rough around the edges coming out of a coal mining town in west virginia but i thank god that he was a man's man i thank god that he was rugged and he was true i thank god that he had integrity you could give my father a million dollars and leave the country for 10 years and when you came back every penny would be accounted for with interest my father always used to say it's one thing to be an american citizen and not pay your bills but to be an american citizen and a christian and not pay your bills that's unacceptable and he was a man of integrity and i watched it my whole life and he was a preacher my dad was a preacher's preacher he traveled all over the world in conferences and conventions and and i just didn't realize how blessed i was until you know i don't know if you've noticed there's i know it looks blonde but it's white but i've noticed with uh little age and white hair sometimes we take for granted how blessed we really are and what god has done for us and the bible says honor your father and mother that your days might be long upon the earth now when i was growing up my father said that's god's way of saying honor your father and mother that your days might be long on the earth he said in other words if you don't honor your mother i can take you out of this earth i brought you into it i'll take you right on out of it and i'll make another one just like you but today we put them in the corner with a piece of gum on their nose and then wonder why they turn out like they're demon-possessed before they're 12 years old but anyway i won't go there i want to take a quick moment i've noticed that pastor bracken of course i know brother gill and his precious wife i've known them i think the first time i came to alaska but i think there was a mention of a pastor over in this area all of the pastors anybody that's a pastor or on staff at a church will you just stand uh real quick so i can honor you the bible says give honor to whom honor is due wow praise the lord we honor you in the name of the lord jesus and we're so glad that you are uh here tonight uh i want to mention to you if you weren't here this morning this morning i preached the message entitled god's unstoppable church and tonight i promise that i'm going to be preaching on bible prophecy and i'm going to be preaching on are we living in the end times in just a moment tomorrow night as i announced this morning if you weren't here i'm going to be preaching on divine healing and not just praying for the sick we're going to plead the covenant of divine protection upon every family present every child present no sickness no disease no virus nothing in jesus name shall come nigh your dwelling but i want to reinforce in your understanding how many of you know that faith is cooperative [Music] anyway i'll not get into the message tomorrow night but i want you to be here because god's people should be a public and visible witness to the difference between the covenant of the righteous and those who walk outside of that covenant and it'll be a blessing to you by the way as in every single message when you hear me preach i don't care if somebody asked me to get up and read the rule of checkers i'm going to give an invitation for the lost so people often times ask me what night is the best night to bring an unsafe friend any night you hear me preaching anywhere is the best night i don't say that in arrogance i said that in humility i just pledge to you publicly that every night the gospel will be clear every night an invitation will be made and i'm asking god for a minimum of a hundred first-time decisions for christ that'll take a miracle but we serve a miracle-working god and i need you to do what pastor encouraged you to do don't take lightly those lost lamb covenants there's extras on the ministry table prayer changes things and before you talk to men about god you must always talk to god about men before you talk to men about god you must always talk to god about men and the bible says andrew went and found his brother and brought him to meet jesus find that person in your life that needs the lord that's been asking questions about our country and what's going on in bible prophecy and pray for them that god will give you a moment of favor and then pick them up and bring them to the house of the lord will you do that and then on tuesday night and then on wednesday night uh i'm probably unless the lord speaks to my heart differently i'm probably going to go right back into bible prophecy because there's so many things that are going on in our world today that are literally straight out of the pages of daniel and first and second thessalonians and revelation and uh it's not clickbait it's real bible prophecy happening before our eyes and you need to be ready uh to meet the lord now if it's all right with you as i get older i'm packing lighter so you've seen that i own a suit and it's the lord's day and so out of respect for my mother who feels like i'm backslidden if i don't preach with a suit and tie mom's 88 years old mom still goes to the church every day at noon and prays from noon to one every day that she has strength to do it and witnesses and serves the lord opens her home up for a bible study people from all over the neighborhood come to hear her sit at the piano and sing teach the bible and the grown men in that little west virginia community where dad went back and resettled and uh i thank god for my precious mother she truly is an angel [Applause] without question the most consistent godly god-fearing mother uh you could ever hope to have and probably my father wouldn't have made heaven if it hadn't been for my mother and i'll leave it at that but uh we're just going to believe god together this week by the way i'm not going to say anything about finances i want to get right into the word of god how many of you know the bible says that it's the spirit of the lord that speaks to people about how to give when you come to this church and you know this pastor as a guest speaker you don't have to double down on financial teaching because you know and have a confidence or at least i do as a guest speaker you've been well taught now most of you know that when kovit hit i had four months of schedule completely cancelled and wanting rescheduled in 10 days time i've never had four months in 41 years of marriage with my wife never i don't know that i ever had a month of being with my wife in 41 years uninterrupted let alone four months but it was unique every time we went to the office we have an office 6 000 square foot office ministry staff the first thing that i did when everything was scheduled i began to think of them because they're married they have kids and i thought well if i was in their shoes i'd probably be a little nervous taking all of these calls wondering about my job security so i sat down with them as soon as this all happened i said let's get something straight as long as you work for lost lamb association you'll never get laid off there'll never be a lack and no matter what happens in our economy god has always been our provider i know how to live by faith judy and i were homeless for the first four years of my our ministry i know what it's like to have nothing and i know what it's like to touch the hand of god that provides and you will never miss a paycheck as long as we walk humbly before the lord and stay on the mission and we did not but it is unique to get those reports for four months when you see that uh offering line for four months just zero week after week after week but can i just give you a quick testimony every need was supernaturally met i never sent out listen i never sent out one letter pleading how hard it was i never called one pastor and said can you help us i never said one word to anybody i didn't even pray about it because god already made a promise and the bible says in psalm 84 and 11 no good thing will i withhold from them who walk uprightly the greatest key to prosperity is holy living and the very first thing i did when all of that hit i laughed purposefully i went for a walk just to laugh in the devil's face and make fun of him and then i went back to the office and i sowed an incredible seed to other ministries to widows to our what we call in our donors list our widow's mites to partners that we knew that were going through difficult times we sowed a significant seed just as a mockery to the devil and god was so faithful to us so just while we're here the only thing i've asked in 41 years will you just take a moment while we're here sometime between now and wednesday night and say lord what would you have us do for lost lamb then be obedient to the lord not one penny listen not one penny of what you give is going to myself my wife or my family i live on a set salary controlled by a board of directors it's been that way for us about as long as i can remember we audit our books every year at lost lamb association the federal government doesn't require it the state i live in doesn't require it but billy graham always said traveling ministries who are supported by people that don't have churches and congregations one of the greatest ways that you can prove your integrity is hire an auditor to come in and make sure that you're not only as the bible says doing things right in the eyes of god but doing things right in the eyes of men lost lamb association is debt-free we have no long-term debt we have no short-term debt we have no accounts due we have no accounts payable we have some accounts receivable but none payable i say all of that not to boast but just to let you know that we use our resources prayerfully and carefully and the only thing that's grieved my heart a bit in those four months is we've always used our travels on the road and a lot often times in fact several times when i've been here a hundred percent of what comes in in our travels goes into our missions account and uh so it's grieved my heart a little bit uh to see that not uh operating as i've been used to it but i'm just excited because i know god's gonna make it all up just that quick and so i just wanted to say that that'll be the only time i'll say that this week other than to thank you for being obedient to the lord and so on behalf of myself on behalf of my wife of 41 years judy on behalf of our staff on behalf of all of those that work for the ministry that can't be here to say thank you we say a humble and a heartfelt thank you for helping us reach the unreached and we'll do it until jesus comes if you have your bible open to the book of revelation in the 20th chapter my father always said a sermon doesn't have to be eternal to be divine many times when he'd have me come preach for him and he'd introduce me and he'd hand me the mic and when no one could hear as he was walking towards me and towards his seat he would just say out loud in passing a sermon doesn't have to be eternal to be divine but those of you that know me have been coming to alaska for 17 years our first call to alaska was a heartbeat for the villages and we've been going into the remote villages of alaska for 17 years pray with me we're targeting along with austin jones and some others a village called shaq tulik and we have a goal to get functional churches in the villages and pastors and their wives that would have the heart to go to those villages that's that's a an incredible step of consecration but god loves the native people of alaska and there are over a hundred villages in northwest alaska many of which have no real gospel witness and i'm not gonna let those people go to hell and you don't want it that way either so let's not forget the unreached right here in your own state the great state of alaska if you love the lord with all your heart just give him a mighty hand of praise thank you lord [Applause] all of like the entire world was thrown into a position of hold and hope and weight and wonder and we were told people were following the science and the data we've since learned that was a fabricated boldface lie but as we begin to walk through those periods of time asking god what would we do one of the things that god spoke to my heart about all the way back in 2018 i didn't realize that it was literally god in a prophetic way getting this ministry ready for these last days but on my extended fast in january in 2018 the lord on that fast spoke to my heart now not an audible voice but in my spirit as strong as an audible voice that same place where the gifts of the spirit operate in my life i felt the lord speak to my heart and say i want you to begin to redefine the parameters of your ministry and i went before god in prayer and asked for specifics and i felt like the lord spoke this to my heart i want you to take your ministry and devote your efforts and your energies one-third world missions crusades one-third of your time in north american crusades and one-third of your time in developing media now the only weak link of what i felt like god had spoken to my heart was media and so after that fast we began to do a little bit of work and had some consultants and people that helped us and told us what we needed to do and we undergirded the ministry outreach and that was the year that i started an online broadcast entitled understanding bible prophecy with tiff shuttlesworth you can find that broadcast it originates out of our office and our tv studio in our office but it began on facebook and still is available on our facebook ministry page which is tiff shuttlesworth dash lost lamb association now let me just warn you don't go to my personal page tiff shuttlesworth facebook limits you to 5 000 friends on a personal page and you can imagine with my world travels that maxed out uh fairly shortly after i joined facebook but your ministry page can take unlimited numbers in the year of 2020 i had our office count 1.12 million views of our broadcast and hundreds of thousands of through views every single month and in obedience to the lord during that four months we were seeing as many people save now i was home more and so instead of doing one broadcast a month a week i was doing three a week and we begin to see for example this week the last broadcast i did on wednesday before flying here uh the day after already over 50 000 views on that broadcast what i figured out intensely was that people all over the world are interested in bible prophecy they may not be christians they may not be followers of christ they may not even read a bible but common sense tells you something ain't right in our country and around the world with that laid down i want to read to you revelation chapter 20 and as an evangelist and as a student of the bible i just can't read a verse or two out of this it's only 15 verses long and most of you spend more time watching youtube videos than you do reading your bible so i'm not going to apologize but the bible says then i saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his head he seized the dragon that old serpent who is the devil satan and bound him in chains for a thousand years the angel threw him into the bottomless pit which he then shut and locked so that satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished let me pause right there and if you have your bible i want you to highlight the word deceive satan could not deceive and if we were to do a study of eschatology and bible prophecy and we were to go through the book of daniel first and second thessalonians the book of revelation and multiple passages one of the most common words in the study of eschatology which is the study of end time prophecy is the word deceive over and over and over and over in the last days the bible tells us that deception is going to be a part not only of the devil but of the antichrist and the false prophet and the bible says that if possible even the very elect are going to be deceived and many people in the last days are good people but because they don't have a godly bible-believing church and a godly pastor who rightly divides the word of truth even people who go to church every sunday but they're in a church that has no word has no power has no gospel has no holy ghost they're still going to be religious but religion doesn't get you to heaven the last time i read the holy bible you need to have a repentance experience to get into the kingdom of god religion won't do it alone the angel threw him into the bottomless pit which he then shut and locked so satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished afterward he must be released for a little while and then i saw thrones and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge and i saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about jesus and for proclaiming the word of god they had not worshipped the beast or his statue nor accepted his mark on their forehead or on their hands pause again for those of you who are brand new students of the bible or perhaps completely foreign to the bible let me tell you the chronology of bible prophecy that's about to unfold the next major prophetic event in the bible is an event called the rapture of the church immediately after the rapture of the church and when i say immediately the bible is not clear we don't know whether it will be suddenly after the rapture days after the rapture weeks after the rapture months after the rapture there seems to be scholarship the weight of which rests upon a sooner than a longer time but immediately after the rapture there will be an event of seven years in duration called the great tribulation during that time it will be divided into three and a half year periods and the second three and a half years is going to be so apocalyptic in nature that jesus said if god the father had not shortened the days that none could survive and during that time over half of the world's population is going to be eliminated through wars perhaps nuclear war through judgments through disease through pandemics and many other judgments that the lord is going to execute wrath many people wonder why isn't god doing something about the wickedness and the immorality and the corruption in our country i'll tell you why bible prophecy said god is storing up those sins and they are appointed for a day of wrath when the ungodly will perish and that's going to take place after the church has been removed the vessel of mercy is gone and then the wrath of god in the great tribulation is going to be poured out in such measure jesus said if god hadn't shortened it none could survive imagine half of the world's population suddenly eliminated and wiped off the face of this earth immediately after the great tribulation it'll end with a another incredible event called the second coming of jesus christ many people get confused between the rapture and the second coming the rapture is on the front side of the great tribulation the second coming ends the great tribulation think of them like prophetic bookends to the left and to the right of that seven-year period of time called great tribulation immediately after the second coming of jesus christ there is a thousand-year period of time which i've been reading to you about that's called the millennium or the millennial reign of christ and then after the millennium will be the final judgment and after the final judgment a new heaven and a new earth where everyone is made right with god and then eternity with joy forever more no more sin no more sickness no more disease no more poverty everything will be restored back to the idyllic paradise just like it was in the garden of eden before the curse of sins stole it all but these people that are beheaded will be the mass revival of people that will come to christ during the great tribulation the greatest revival the world has ever seen is going to take place during the great tribulation the bible tells us that god's going to raise up 144 000 jews to give you an idea as to the power of this spiritual awakening as messiah becomes lord of all for the world to see the bible said all of israel shall be saved god is going to in the brush of his hand restore and redeem all of israel and out of that jewish revival he'll raise up a hundred and forty four thousand jews twelve thousand out of each of the twelve tribes that will become jewish evangelists and god the bible said is going to put a mark on those 144 000 jews that will supernaturally protect them from any harm from any violence from any vengeance they will preach without anyone being able to lay a hand upon them without the wrath of god smiting them down and they will have a window of evangelism that will sweep the world but all of those and by the way the mark of the beast that many of you have heard that terminology even if you're not a student of the bible is a counterfeit the original mark is god marking the 144 000. the devil has not been able to come up with his own creative idea since the crucifixion and victorious rising of the lord jesus christ because there on the cross jesus completely incapacitated the power of satan and every demonic spirit and the only power they have over your life is fear and threat like a lion roaring seeking whom he may devour but the bible said but thanks be unto god who giveth us the victory through the lord jesus christ i don't know about you folks in wasilla i'm not running from devils devils run from me when i get up in the morning and get up off of my knees in prayer the devil says god oh [Applause] but those that are saved it'll cost them their lives and martyrdom i saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about jesus and for proclaiming the word of god they had not worshipped the beast or his statue pause again one night when i was watching the news with my wife i only watched the news to have fellowship with my wife who's completely engulfed in this and ready to go to war but i'll sit down with her at night after supper she likes to record hallmark movies and though i'd rather have a hot poker in my right eye [Applause] i'll sit down and watch whatever she's recorded quietly praying under my breath asking god to help me as i lose the will to live but because i love her i watch it with her and then she likes to watch about an hour of the news and i keep telling her why do you watch that before you go to bed you get so worked up but i can tell you this one night as we were watching and all of the statues across our country were being ripped off podiums i felt the holy spirit speak to my heart and the lord reminded me that the antichrist is going to have a miraculous supernatural statue erected in his image and require all to worship that statue and that statue will have supernatural powers and like all dictators who take over they not only have the main statue at the capitol they have replicates of that statue put all over the region and as i was watching the news with my wife i felt the holy spirit speak to my heart and said already the spirit of antichrist is pulling all of the statues off of their bases because satan is getting ready to put up just one statue and it'll be the statue of the antichrist the bible tells me that when the antichrist comes he's going to have a one world government he's going to have a one world monetary system he's going to have a one world religion he's going to have a one world military power to enforce his mandates that are unfair and he's going to have a one world military power this is coming and people for years read the bible and said that's got to be fairy tales but now all of a sudden bibles around america are sold off the shelves in many states you can't find a bible in a walmart you can't find a bible in a target because people are running to the bible and saying you know what it seems like all of those prophecy preachers may have had a little more credibility than what we gave them credit for they had not worshiped the beast or his statue nor accepted his mark on their forehead or on their hands and they all came to life again and they reigned with christ for a thousand years this is the first resurrection the rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended i'm not preaching on the resurrections tonight but there'll be a resurrection of the martyred dead immediately after the second coming of christ there'll be another resurrection of the righteous who died prior to the cross at the end of that period blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection for them the second death holds no power but they will be priests of god and of christ and will reign with him a thousand years when the thousand years comes to an end satan will be let out of his prison he will go out to deceive the nations called gog and magog just quickly and don't have time to teach on it magog is what we presently understand as the former soviet union gog is the leader of that region if it were to happen today it would be the former soviet union and putin but whoever it is at this time it'll be the leader of that piece of real estate and that piece of real estate is russia or the former soviet union in every corner of the earth he will gather them together for battle a mighty army as numberless as sand along the seashore and i saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded god's people and the beloved city that's jerusalem but fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them then the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur joining the beast and the false prophet pause again god is triune in nature we believe in god the father god the son and god the holy ghost genesis 1 26 tells me that you and i as humanity were created in the image of god and because we were created in the image of god we have triune nature and our triune nature is body mind and spirit or soul but satan again counterfeiting god has satan the antichrist and the false prophet there they will be tormented day and night forever and ever and i saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it the earth and the sky fled from his presence but they found no place to hide isn't it unique that today was cell phones digital technologies tracing facial recognition a lot of the face masks that you're wearing part of what is going on and this is factual this isn't conspiracy there's data to back it up part of the reason they're wanting people to wear face masks is face masks would disengage the original first generation of facial recognition technology but they've upped their game with eye recognition technology and people around the world wearing masks is the perfect test for the generation two of facial recognition technology so that even if you cover your face if the cameras catch your eyes there will be no place to hide i saw the dead both great and small standing before god's throne and the books were opened including the book of life and the dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books the sea gave up its dead the bering sea will give up a lot of rugged fishermen on that day the sea gave up its dead and death in the grave gave up their dead and all were judged according to their deeds then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire this lake of fire is the second death now don't miss this if you have your bible highlighted and anyone whose name was not found recorded in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire and that is the finality of hell just before i move on let me ask you a very sobering question and this is coming from a preacher that loves you this isn't coming from a preacher that's pointing his finger of religiosity at you this isn't coming from an evangelist who's thumping a bible and doesn't care about you this is coming from the heart of an evangelist that from the time i was 17 years old until today i have only done one thing i have given my life my health and my strength and everything in my fiber to travel the gospel and to fulfill the great commission and to reach unreached people around the world this preacher really cares about you and i want to ask you a question and i want you to think about it in an intelligent way if you've never done it before those of you that are online i want you to do the same here's the question do you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that your name is written in the lamb's book of life i'm not asking you if you hope so that's not good enough at least not for me and the lord i'm not asking you if you hope so i'm asking you do you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that your name is in the lamb's book of life you say tiff how can i know if my name's in the lamb's book of life the bible says there has to be a time in your life when you repent of sin and receive jesus christ you know a lot of people in my travels often times say well preacher i believe in jesus i don't have anything against jesus i have a warm feeling in my heart about god and jesus i'm not agnostic i'm not an atheist believing in jesus does not make you right with god james chapter 2 the bible said even the demons believe and tremble demons believe in jesus demons have read the bible demons go to church all the time trust me demons believe but the bible said they're eternally lost and damnation and judgment will be their end result how many of you believe in soap how many of you know that believing in soap doesn't make you clean i thought you might get that in alaska your children understand what i'm saying believing in soap doesn't make you clean you have to have a very intimate personal relationship with it and many of you believe in jesus but your sins have never been washed away but i have good news for you when i give the invitation and the moments to come we're going to pray and i'm going to ask you even before i get to that invitation not out loud but right there where you sit because as i preach it doesn't matter to me whether you like me i mean it's nice to be liked but i could give a flip whether you like me or not because it's not you i'm going to stand before in eternity's mourning to be judged i'm going to stand before god but i'm going to ask you while i'm preaching as you feel the presence of god and the power of his eternal word tugging on your heart to just quietly ask the lord just pray this prayer say lord when that man gives the invitation for people to get right with god will you give me the childlike faith and the humility and the courage to say yes and before i leave tonight i'm going to pray with you a personal what many people call a sinner's prayer and maybe never before in your life but tonight you can walk out those doors in the moments ahead and not think so but know so that if the lord were to come tonight while you're sleeping that you'd be ready to go wouldn't you like to go home tonight and put your head on your my pillow and know that you'd be ready to meet the lord you can do that tonight in recent days in light of all of this pandemic and all of the chaotic aftermath you can't even begin to imagine the number of questions that have come into our ministry because i've been preaching on bible prophecy for 40 years now all of a sudden people want to listen to somebody they can trust concerning bible prophecy and let me help you with something don't listen to people preaching on prophecy who started two days after the pandemic just trying to help you don't bother listening to somebody that decided they were going to start preaching and doing online services about prophecy two days after the pandemic find yourself a man of god or a woman of god that's got some tenure and some gray hair who's been preaching and teaching and studying it their whole life and it'll help you religion news services report that according to a recent poll 41 percent of u.s adults 54 of protestants 77 percent of evangelicals believe that the world is now living in the biblical end times people want to know even the rag magazines in the grocery store are starting to have prophetic headlines at lost lamb we recently saw a post from an atheist self-professed atheist that said i'll read it to you quote though i have always been a devout atheist in light of this sudden global pandemic the crash of our economy our freedoms being stripped from us by political leaders acting more like dictators the talk of a forced vaccine and cashless implants i'm now beginning to wonder if the prophecies in the bible that i have mocked are all actually true end of quote we responded to him they're absolutely true and we'll love you no matter where you're at now we'll help you to find christ let me just take a moment to help you to understand some very important prophetic terms because one of the most common mistakes that's made in preaching and teaching on bible prophecy in the last days in the end times etc is that people treat all of these biblical terms as if they're synonyms and they're not and if you think they're all synonyms then you're going to be very confused concerning bible prophecy so for those of you who love the bible so much that when you go to church you come to church with the capacity to take notes now would be a good time to break out that resource and take a few notes let me just take a few moments to define these biblical terms when you see end times in the bible that is always used in a broad sense when we look at the question are we living in the end times we first need to look into the bible and define end times times like the last days end times last things last hour the day of the lord i've listened to preaching and teaching through the years and they use all of those terms in the bible and in prophecy as if they're interchangeable and that's why they're confused as to the chronology of what's going to happen now i'm not wanting to take you into a seminary class but i am going to go through these because knowing the bible is more important than just listening to it can i get a good amen it's important to understand what the scripture means one prophecy scholar writes just as in our own lives there are many ends there is an end of the work day the end of the day according to the clock the end of the week the end of the month the end of the year just because the word end is used does not mean that it always refers to the same thing the word end is restricted and precisely defined when it is modified by day week year etc so it is in bible prophecy that end times may refer to the end of the current church age or it may refer to other times but the bible clearly speaks of the last days or end times but it does not always refer to the same period of time end of quote let me make that a little more clear the last days in the old testament how many are still with me the last days in the old testament is different than the last days in the new testament in the old testament last days refers to the time leading up to the coming of the promised messiah and the millennial kingdom deuteronomy chapter 4 verse 30 when you are in distress and all these things come upon you in the last days when you turn to the lord your god and obey his voice isaiah 2 and 2 in the last days the mountain of the lord's house will be the highest of all the most important place on earth it will be raised above the other hills and people from all over the world will stream there to worship that's speaking of jerusalem by the way here's a little bit of prophecy tidbit for you jerusalem is the capital of the world that was declared by god over 3 000 years ago and it cannot change that's why it's important to notice that in the last handful of months we've had a presidential leader who did something that no one else in american presidencies has ever done he recognized jerusalem as the capital of israel do you remember what day he did that on if you do not let me help you may 14th 2018. do you remember what day israel was reborn as a nation may 14th 1948 you've already done the math 70 years to the day that israel was reborn as a nation jerusalem was recognized worldwide officially as the capital of the holy land and daniel taught in 70-year increments are you still out there so when the dust settles after the battle of armageddon in the great tribulation and god creates a new heaven and a new earth the capital of the entire world will be jerusalem jeremiah 30 24 the fierce anger of the lord will not return until he has done it and until he has performed the intents of his heart in the last days you will consider it now in the old testament they did not have knowledge of the church god hid from the eyes of the old testament prophecy the concept of the church ephesians 3 teaches that will not take time to go into paul's incredible teaching on the mystery of the church being held back from the old testament prophets but if you want to read it in your devotions this week go to ephesians chapter 3 and paul covers it there in detail let me before i conclude also help you to understand we've talked about the last days in the old testament and what that refers to the last days in the new testament is totally different the term last days in the new testament refers to the last days of the church age those of you that were here this morning will remember that i taught you that the church age began with the first coming of christ it was inaugurated in the upper room on the day of pentecost and it concludes at the rapture of the church that's why when jesus said in matthew 16 i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it we have both the promise and the prophecy of jesus that the church will always go forward and upward until the rapture and no power in this world has the ability to stop the unstoppable church somebody shout yes lord hebrews 1 2 and now in these final days he has spoken to us through his son god promised everything to the son as an inheritance and through the son he created the universe john referred to the church age as the last hour first john 2 and 18 dear children the last hour is here you have heard that the antichrist is coming and already many such antichrists plural have appeared from this we know that the last hour has come many new believers or new students of the bible are confused by that because you have antichrist in that verse capitalized singular the antichrist and then it goes on to say but already many such antichrists plural small a and so many students of the bible in the infancy of beginning to learn things say i don't get that it seems contradictory antichrist capitalized singular antichrist's plural small fault what's going on let me tell you exactly what's going on the devil doesn't have a clue as to what's going to happen in the last days he has no charge of it whatsoever every time you hear somebody say well i just feel like if so-and-so is elected it's gonna put god's foot on the accelerator of bible prophecy where if so-and-so's elected it's gonna put the break and god's gonna have another window of time nobody can stop the prophesied agenda of bible prophecy how infantile to think that american politics can absolutely speed up or slow down god's chronology and eschatology do you know how we know that matthew chapter 24 verse 36 jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour that the son of man will return no not the angels in heaven but my father only the only person who has knowledge to the chronology of the end time events is god the almighty father creator of heaven and of earth so if it says the father only then it's just simple bible scholarship the devil doesn't have a clue he's in the dark as much as you and i are and so since he's in charge of the antichrist program stick with me since he's in charge of the anti-christ program he has always had to have had an antichrist waiting in the wings and that's why there are antichrists plural because there have been many men in recent history now the devil knows the signs of the times just like we would but in recent history the devil has always had to have had an antichrist waiting in the wings because he doesn't know when the rapture is going to take place any more than you and i do the rapture is a signless event the rapture is a signless event the rapture is a signless event there are no bible prophecies anywhere in the bible that point to the rapture of the church in an hour that you think not it'll come upon you like a thief in the night all of the signs in the bible don't point to the rapture they point to what happens after the rapture the signs point to the great tribulation the signs point to the millennial reign of christ the signs point to the second coming of christ the signs point to the new heavens and the new earth and eternity but the rapture is a signless event no man knoweth the day nor the hour and so the devil has had to sit on the sidelines twiddling his thumbs waiting for god to do his thing before he can do his thing let me get towards the end of this because one of the greatest evidences in the bible is demonstrated through the content of prophecy if you can't tell i love bible prophecy and let me just back up a little bit when i was a little boy growing up in church my father used to have in on a regular basis usually at least once a year he would bring an evangelist into the church who had a gift in bible prophecy and as a little boy sitting on the front row because my mom was on the piano my dad was the pastor he was sitting on the platform all of us four boys had to sit on the front row where we could receive the death stare my parents spoke in two languages english and eye threats but i was always intrigued as a little boy with bible prophecy and then when i got into my teenage years like most people who are critical thinkers i begin to wonder about all this stuff i begin to ask the same questions that many of you have asked what makes christianity any different from any other religion in the world who's to say that our god is the only god with so many gods in the world that people talk about why should i believe the bible how do i know that this the the infallible inerrant word of god what if there are mistakes what if there's no heaven what if there i asked all the same questions when i got into my teenage years and into my later teen years that most of you asked but do you know what turned the corner for me bible prophecy because as i begin to read and when i say read i'm still reading i actually just started my master's degree last year at the age of 61. and i'm gonna finish it but listen i buy books on prophecy to this day i bought eight before i came here and i'm not talking about paper books i'm talking about scholarship books that are like three four five six hundred pages i love bible prophecy because it's the most powerful proof and evidence of christianity and it separates us from all other world religions hold on and i'll prove it to you no other world religion in their sacred books and in their sacred writings has prophetic content or at least those that do theirs has been proven inaccurate and it hasn't come to pass but the holy bible there's over 2500 prophecies in this book over 2100 of them have come to pass with complete and total accuracy that gives me even a rational intellectual reason to believe that the remaining few hundred prophecies in this book of the last days are equally going to come to pass one of the most common questions i get from skeptics agnostics and atheists and unbelievers is you can't open that bible and show me one prophecy that can be proved unless you have faith in the bible well first of all that tells me that they've never read the bible and they've never studied it they've probably just regurgitated what they heard some numb professors say in a university who had not read the bible either so i'm going to close in just a moment by giving you one of the most incredible detailed prophecies in the bible that came to pass this year in february of 2020. now i could give you multiple i think the last time i was here i may have preached on the red heifer go to our podcast channel by the way full of teachings on bible prophecy and common questions that people asked by the way that red heifer is still ready for sacrifice there's been been one blemish or one injury they just did a two-year secondary survey of that red heifer and it is still perfect and ready for sacrifice because it has to be sacrificed and its ashes are needed for the ritual of purification so that the third temple can be rebuilt the third temple is the temple and the great tribulation that halfway through the antichrist sits upon the holy of holies and defiles it that's the moment that god turns the heat up on the last half of the great tribulation but i'm going to conclude in just a few moments and i'm going to give you the most incredulous bible prophecy that you don't need to go to seminary to figure out when i tell you what it is and i walk through the details of it before we pray it'll be an aha moment even for those of you that are students of the bible isaiah chapter 46 and verse 9 the bible says remember the things i have done in the past for i alone am god i am god and there is none like me only i can tell you the future before it ever happens and everything i plan will come to pass for i do whatever i wish so my friend that's what separates the bible from all other religious books in all of the world in all of human history is only the bible has substantial prophetic content approximately many people say your bible's almost a third prophecy it's about 28 prophecy but i'm not the prophecy police if you say a third that's five but almost one-third of your bible is prophetic in content and there has never been one single error listen there has never been one single error in the accuracy and the details of the fulfillment of bible prophecy christ spoke of the four major signposts of the last days matthew 24 we see them mark chapter 13 we see them and luke chapter 21 we see them there are many prophecies in those chapters but these are called the four signposts that lead us to know we're in the final moments of human history and included in those four signposts jesus used the terms they'll be like birth pains which means exactly what you'd think it means they're going to increase in frequency and in intensity so with that in mind i'm going to walk through these very quickly these are the four signposts to let you know that it's almost over and again these aren't the only ones these are oftentimes called in the world of scholarship and eschatology the four main prophetic signposts of the end times number one nation against nation most of the time that has been translated as wars and that's not necessarily improper but the greek word is ethos against ethos and in the last few months it's made me think about something i've never thought about in 41 years because the word ethos in the greek is where we get the word ethnicity and now when i think of the greek ethnicity and wars against ethnicities i think of america and the world in recent weeks because we are in an ethnic war i wish i had time to go into that i'm working on an entire message on that i don't know that i'll preach it tuesday or wednesday i'm just telling you in the days to come you'll hear it from me in light of recent news perhaps a more accurate translation could very well be one of the signs of the last days as you'll see this inflammatory war ethnicity against ethnicity number two signposts natural disasters number three signpost famines and number four signpost pestilences now the critics of the bible and the liberal higher education world they always point to that and say what a religious farce there have always been natural disasters there have always been wars there have always been famines and there have always been pestilences and there will always be what a religious croc of chocolate pudding that's their argument but you see they don't study the bible so they don't know the bible jesus said not just these four signposts he said like birthplace he wasn't saying you're going to see these four things and that's how you'll know it'll be the end he said when you see these four things like birth pace in other words they have to increase in frequency and they have to increase in intensity so let's just ask the question from science not from the bible scientifically do we have any data to back that up and pardon me for going through these quickly but i do want to help you with these first of all i want to talk to you about pestilences the bible tells us and by the way you'll forgive me for going through this quickly but uh time goes quicker in wasilla than it does where i come from can we back that up with anything in the scripture first of all pandemics are diseases that break out on a global scale diseases that spread from animals often times to human of the cause from europe's black death during the middle ages to the spanish flu the time of the first world war pandemics changed the course of society but let's just bring it up to 2020 the current pandemic coveted 19 is causing disruption across the entire world like i've never seen in my lifetime and even the secular ungodly news keep calling it biblical in proportion or apocalyptic which is straight out of the book of revelation i saw in the wall street journal a headline just days ago it said global viral outbreaks like coronavirus once rare are becoming more and more common pandemics through the science are proved they are trending in escalation in frequency and in intensity at an alarming rate in the past 25 years and here are the three main scientific reasons why not my reasons these are straight from the greatest minds of science around the world they're saying here is why we've seen this incredible remarkable uptick in pandemics in the last 25 years number one growing populations mega cities have tripled in recent years and when you get millions of people in a small confined space it is the worst possible case scenario for pandemics number two medical services are not keeping up with growing populations there are more than 75 countries in the world that only have one physician per thousand people and so when there is a pandemic we saw it even in regions of our own country the leading country of the world in medical science many of them failed and fell on their faces number three global travel global travel has changed the entire pandemic seat because people historically never traveled from state to state let alone from nation to nation around the world but every year billions of people travel internationally which is another absolute worst case scenario for pandemics it's why we have covid19 again pardon me for only giving you a thumbnail on this because i want to get to the most incredible prophecy that i think i've seen fulfilled in my lifetime in your lifetime i am going to give you just a little more factual scientific and historic data on the remaining ones now natural disasters was one that i mentioned i don't have the time to go through all natural disasters let me just give you one that people in alaska will really connect with and that's earthquakes according to wikipedia list of earthquakes in the past 500 years this is what we've witnessed and these were only measured those that were 7.0 and greater that's a mega quake how many mega earthquakes 7.0 did we have in the 15th century two 16th century three 17th century seven 18th century 13. 19th century 29 20th century 123. in the first decade of the 21st century we've already witnessed 145 earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.0 or greater putting us on a course for 1440 mega earthquakes over the next 100 year period that's science have earthquakes and again obviously i can't keep you here all night giving you data on every natural disaster but there's just one and the signs are the same for the other let me give you some quick data on famines how many famines in the 15th century six how many famines in the 16th century 10 how many in the 17th 24 18th century 28 19th century 30 20th century 44. the first decade of the 21st century we've already witnessed 12 famines putting us on a course of 120 famines over the next 100 year period have these increased with frequency and intensity undeniable let me back up and give you another and that being wars let's just suppose that we're not talking about ethos against ethos let's go with old school tradition of interpreting that passages wars 15th century 29 wars 16th century 59 17th century 75 18th century 69 19th century 294. 20th century 278. the first decade of the 21st century we've already had 55 wars putting us on track for 550 wars in the next 100 year period have these increased with frequency and intensity absolutely yes with that said let me go to that incredible prophecy show me one prophecy in that bible preacher just show me one and i'll believe it go to revelation chapter 9. how many love the bible say amen how many are learning some things about how to live in the last days say amen how many are seeing factually biblically spiritually that we have proof of what we say say amen revelation 9 13 this is incredible again just fulfilled in february of this year then the sixth angel revelation 9 verse 13 then the sixth angel blew his trumpet and i heard a voice speaking from the four horns of the gold altar that stands in the presence of god and the voice said to the sixth angel who held the trumpet release the four angels who were bound at the great euphrates river that river's over in iraq and iran then the four by the way let me just pause right there i'll throw this one in as a bonus the bible said before israel is invaded out of the north by gog and magog and the kings of the east that god is going to supernaturally dry up the euphrates river and what was once the great river of the middle east is going to become the highway the dry riverbed will become the highway by which gog and magog and the kings of the east are going to attack israel out of the north you're afraid river is dry then the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were turned loose to kill one third of all of the people on earth by the way this is a war that's going to kill one-third of all of the people on earth i heard the size of their army and here it is highlight it i heard the size of their army which was 200 million mounted troops now here's what you need to understand 2 000 years ago the apostle john john the revelator who wrote the book of revelation he was exiled on an island called patmos off of the coast of modern day turkey when the spirit of the lord and an angel delivered to him this revelation do you know what the entire population of the world was when he said an army of 200 million men it varies depending upon scholarship but about 175 million the entire known population of the earth was 175 million men and this prophet of the lord said i saw an army in the last days with 200 million men they must have laughed him to scorn they must have sat up at night and said tell us stories as they drank their ale and their wine and got drunk and thought it to be a comedy show he sat in an army of 200 million men plus and they wouldn't have known that the entire population of the world was 175 they probably thought it was a few hundred thousand in that region the entire population of the world when he wrote that max 175 million the roman army in the first century was composed of 25 legions of 125 000 soldiers the greatest army on the planet when john was alive was the roman army 125 000 soldiers and they had an auxiliary army back in rome of about the same the army john prophesied in revelation 9 is a thousand times the size of the roman army that he knew of but he said they're going to kill a third of mankind now at current numbers that's over 3 billion people don't have time to peel this onion deep but i'm just going to tell you this most scholars agree that that will have to be a nuclear war the death of three billion people on the planet and probably not just regionally it'll probably be a back and forth skirmish that'll be all over the planet but how else would you define the elimination of three billion people suddenly in world war ii the cumulative number of all of the armies in the world was not even 50 million men do you hear what i'm saying john prophesied of an army of 200 million men it must have been insanity even in recent years it was called insanity by a lot of liberal scholars because never in the history of the world has that even been possible but on february of this year china boldly announced as a wake-up call to the world that they're flexing their muscles and they're tired of being pushed around that they now have an army of two right out of the press headlines 200 million men china announces an army of 200 million men then i heard one of our leading generals say that that could be verified obviously wasn't going to give away the way that they understand that but through satellites and modern technology that you'll probably never know of in your lifetime because the military always has technology that's usually 20 30 or 40 years ahead of it being released to the public but through satellites they can pretty much scan and tell you anything and everything about anything and everything so it's not a bluff china has an army of 200 million people for the first time in human history when was it announced february of 2020. who did john say would have an army of 200 million men the kings of the east china so the next time somebody tells you there's not a prophecy in the bible that's believable unless you have stupid faith like you you can open your bible and say god knows exactly what he's doing heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away if you believe it and receive it tonight give the lord a mighty hand of praise [Applause] stand your feet with me please musicians would you come first of all i thank you for your time i think i can say with clean hands and a pure heart before the lord i didn't waste any of your time tonight for those of you who are meeting me for the first time i have a 40 year old reputation of starting in the bible staying in the bible and finishing in the bible which i have done tonight but i think that most of you that have any level of intellect know that you can't cover a message of this subject in 15 minutes if you're going to give people something to stand upon and something to digest and also if you haven't figured out by now my preaching and teaching style is i often times back up two steps and try to say things in a way that even your children can understand of how god affected my heart as a little boy through prophecy preachers i also want to give honor to your pastor who has someone in who preaches on bible prophecy churches never have anyone in who preach and teach on bible prophecy and their people are living in fear their people are living in panic their people are living in the fog not knowing what's going to happen but jesus said in matthew 24 because you know that these things are going to happen don't panic why because you're a member of an unstoppable church and what's going to happen to them is not going to happen to us you'll live under the covenant of god unscathed until the sound of the glorious trumpet of the lord now i'm going to keep a promise to those of you who couldn't answer the question on the lamb's book of life [Music] don't ask me how i know this other than 41 years of walking in the spirit but there are absolutely people within the sound of my voice that if the lord were to come tonight you're not ready to go and i'm not judging you i just know by the spirit of the lord you're here because as i've been preaching he's asked me to be very careful to explain this to you that's why i've taken a little extra time and a little extra detail to give a little bit of what is oftentimes called christian apologetics because there are people here who wonder but now you know that this book is indeed the infallible inerrant word of the living god and it is different from all other books and when the spirit of the lord directed me to take some time to detail out for you the difference between christianity and all of the world religions it's because i knew by the spirit of the lord almost like a word of knowledge that somebody was sitting there asking that very same question in their head and you know who you are and i could come out and put my hand on your shoulder but the bottom line is you're not ready to meet the lord and god brought you here tonight because he loves you that much and tonight is your opportunity to say no to sin and to say yes to jesus christ but there are also people here that have gone to church for a long time but you've believed some of the incredible inerrant teachings on the subject of grace that makes you feel like that you can live the way you want to live and come to church on sunday and apologize and then go back to living like hell monday through saturday but any listen any preaching or teaching on grace that makes you feel comfortable with sin is heresy any preaching or teaching on grace that makes you feel comfortable with your sin is heresy paul said should we continue in sin so that grace would abound god forbid peter the great bold apostle said in second peter chapter 3 knowing that these prophetic things are going to happen what pure and godly lives you ought to be living [Music] can i lovingly but straight down the middle ask you are you living a pure life are you living a holy life somebody called our office and wanted to speak to me their question was i've been living with my girlfriend for many years we've never had a legal marriage but we've asked god to marry us in his sight is that all right i said not according to the bible i can put you in touch with a lot of heretics that'll tell you it's all right i can put you in touch with a few best-selling authors that'll tell you it's all right but if you're asking me what does the bible say all those living in fornication when the lord comes will be left behind man up in merrier i said man up in merrier [Music] and precious daughter of the lord if he won't man up and marry you show him the front door because you're more valuable than that god didn't create you to be somebody's lonely pill i said god didn't create you to be somebody's lonely pill this preacher loves you enough to tell you that jesus christ is coming soon and he said i'm coming for a church that's without spot and blemish and wrinkle [Music] and many of you are friends with god you have a warm fuzzy place in your heart for god you're friends with god some of you are dating god from time to time when it fits your schedule you go to church and you date god some of you are engaged to god you've made a promise that one day you're going to make the commitment but he's not coming for a friend and he's not coming for a date and he's not coming for a fiance he's coming for a bride and do you know the difference between a bride and all the others a bride has stood at an altar before family and god and friends and made a vow my life till death do us part a lot of people are going to miss heaven because they were religious but they weren't redeemed they were religious but they weren't repentant and i just love you enough to tell you that if you want your name in the lamb's book of life you've got to repent of sin and receive jesus christ now with that said you couldn't in all of the planet you couldn't find a preacher that loves you more and will walk you through that maybe some that would love you as much but none that'll love you more i have no guile in my heart i want you to be saved but i can't give you a convenient way i have to give you a biblical way and it's going to take faith and courage and humility to pray this prayer with me that's why i asked you in the infancy of this message in your heart while i'm preaching ask god to give you the strength and the humility to do this so now it's time to find out what you're going to do with jesus because what you do with jesus here on earth determines what he does with you in eternity's morning he said if you receive me here i'll receive you there but if you reject me here before men then i'll have to reject you there before my father it's your choice god's already made his choice he loves you so much so that he gave his only begotten son he already said what his will is he said in ii peter 3 and 9 i'm willing that none should perish god said i don't want you to perish that word perish in the greek means face eternal judgment for unrepented sin god said i'm willing that none should perish god doesn't send you to hell god's not going to send anybody to hell if you go to hell it's because you chose to go there god didn't send you there he offered a hand of forgiveness love and mercy just like he's doing right now but when he stuck it out to you and said you can be saved tonight you spit on his hand and walked out [Music] he's not going to send you to hell you made a choice no one goes to heaven by accident all will be in heaven by a deliberate choice no one goes to hell by accident all will be there because of a deliberate choice to pray a sinner's prayer with me at this altar is a deliberate choice capisce i don't know how to make this any clearer i don't know who god's wrestling with but he's got me wrestling with somebody tonight's your night and you may never have another that's not a threat it's just the bible the bible says the spirit of the lord does not always strive with men there's a time in your life when you'll say no to god he'll never call you again the bible says he'll turn you over to a reprobate mind what's a reprobate mind it's a mind and then the ear and a spirit that cannot hear god anymore so here it is they're going to lead us in a song of invitation some of you are making this decision for the very first time but some of you are away from the lord and backslidden or not living right you need to come home christian i'm going to ask you in every service be very sensitive to the people sitting to your left and to your right and when the invitation is given if there's someone next to you or near you and you're not sure if they've ever made that level of commitment not forcibly i'm not asking you to grab them by the throat and drag them down here i'm just saying by the spirit of the lord turn to them and say i'll walk with you and you can walk with them and we'll pray together so if god's rung your doorbell tonight and you know it for a fact i want you to start coming right now i always ask those that have the courage will you be the very first ones to come your courage will help somebody else as they lead us in this song and then we'll pray come on [Applause] oh come to the altar the father's arms [Music] come on tonight's your night [Music] we're going to pray together with those that are here some are still coming make some room if you've got more than a 20 inches in front of you move a little closer to the altar to make room for some that might be behind you [Music] what's your name buddy dennis when i was preaching i knew in my heart that tonight was your night and you know how i said earlier in the service while i'm preaching you just pray inside that god will give you the faith and the courage and the strength to make that decision while i was preaching i was praying in my heart lord help me to help that young man and i know this is a difficult decision awkward probably uncomfortable but you and i both know under alcohol you've done a lot more freaky stuff than this [Music] and all the people that are laughing three quarters of them have two [Music] but before we pray i just want to tell you something if i had to fly those 5 000 miles again and go through what i went through to get into alaska just for you i'd have done it without a second thought you know why everybody's somebody to jesus amen you have brothers and sisters you have a sister younger older and do you know if she's ever made a commitment to the lord all right well i want you to begin to pray for your sister and i want you this week whenever you feel i want you to let your sister know what you did and ask her to come with you one night because i just feel somehow there's people in your family that god's gonna use you to reach other members of the family and uh you carry some weight and some influence with some family members and what you're doing tonight's not just going to be your decision it's going to change some of your family's eternal addresses and i'm proud of you now this young lady is it a wife or a girlfriend girlfriend and you've given your heart to the lord amen you grew up here and you brought him with you tonight good job that's a good woman that's a good woman out loud and without shame pray this prayer with me say heavenly father tonight as i was listening to the bible you were speaking to me down deep in my heart i want to be ready to meet the lord i don't know everything about the bible i don't know everything about prophecy i just know i want to be ready the bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god that includes me this night i admit my sin and i am willing to repent to turn my back on sin and turn my heart to jesus come into my heart be my lord and my savior the bible said all who call upon your name shall be saved and so tonight the bible cannot lie i'm saved i am no longer the property of sin i am tonight a child of god and i'll never be the same in place of my weakness fill me with the holy spirit and give me the power to be what you created me to be i vow i will serve the lord in jesus name amen and amen give the lord a mighty hand of [Applause] [Music] praise the lord
