Abandoned- Classic contemporary late 50`s condo! Power still on! Bonus 50`s house next door too!

[Music] oh [Music] uh hello hello what's happening explorers all right this place is a classic 50s setup um just close this door this is actually next to two homes i've explored recently i knew this one was vacant but i didn't know it was open now it is and as you saw from the front it's uh two levels and there's a part of the back too so hopefully we can access all areas let's take a look but the style is contemporary 50s and definitely early 60s there was newspapers down here i do know there was residents in here earlier this year april the 3rd that says 2020. yeah these these big chimneys are typical of the 60s 50s so check out the carpet i would not be surprised if maybe there has been squatters in here there's a big mirror there there's probably another mirror right there too in lighting just go back this way oh wow look at the bathroom it's got a little bit of the brady bunch feel to it another big mirror there there is also another home that's directly next to this one also vacant and up for development check it out that's original that's a huge basin actually i'm not sure if it you can sort of tell it's that's that's larger than uh the normal ones i've seen but the pink and black very typical of the 50s tiles tilings what about the taps really deep tub too and they got the shower in there all right lots of clothes left behind here bid we've got an ensuite look at the old look at the old plumbing fixtures i've got water there's all people there's that's all water down there too now it's in my shoes okay where does this door go oops has to be the kitchen hello the back door the back door's been smashed so not sure if squatters have been in here or that's just leftovers from the there's a fair chance that squatters have been in here so i've got a laundry here it's another one of those windows almost like a a hospital door like a patient's door well this place just keeps going there's more rooms down there another huge bathroom whoa so this is the third bathroom there's even a bidet check it out there's a uh a screen door like a shower door for the toilet area this is a huge bathroom another one of those doors again so it's either the main bedroom or a another living room one lonely bucket seat left and a wardrobe and this is like the back porch area look at the fridge well the power's still on let me just check the lights the white didn't come on i'll try and check another one maybe that was for both well the fridge was on so there's definitely power [Applause] hello anybody home oh look there's actually uh water all over the floor there i reckon there's a lake somewhere look there's water on there too i think this place has got uh problems with the roof [Applause] this top level is all just um like cinder blocks concrete blocks it's kind of like a very basic uh build up here all the windows are open too busy road out there where all the water is yep all right so let me see if i can see down into the yard of that one that's the other one that's vacant it looks as though things have been removed from the back door so i'll try and actually go go over to that property guys all right turns out the garage door is open and it looks definitely empty so let's check it out that's where we were so yeah i don't know a date exact date for this guys but i'll put it in looks like this is laundry yep laundry and extra shower yellow brick suggests it must be 60s or later kind of looks 70s to me with the arches hang on there's a toilet there's probably another bathroom and toilet inside [Applause] all right definitely look 70s with that wood wood paneling and the arches kitchen cabinets 80s what do you reckon there must be a door open somewhere because i can hear the traffic salon doors [Applause] actually there's uh oh that's easy i could have walked straight in the driveway look at that [Applause] i'd say there was big slotting doors there someone's someone's taking them sorry about the noise can't do anything about it check out that he's hooked in up there so this is a living area looks like a little bedroom so we've got the front foyer front living room so this definitely looks like the original part of the home it's almost like a cape cod style window it's very lush carpet soft very deep fireplace it's been boarded up so it probably was a functioning fireplace and then maybe had a gas heater put in there definitely like this section of the house better than the back section the bathroom definitely modern i like the tiles kind of looks like a snake skin or a something like that now another toilet front master bedroom i would say casablanca there you go lachlan if you're watching have you heard of those i'm sure you have because you are the fan guru another tiny little bedroom with built-in
