Abandoned- 1880 two story Cottage/deserted after an attempt to revamp her/power still on

[Music] oh [Music] so what is happening explorers check out this old place okay this building was built in 1880 it's going to be demolished front door was open so i'm like you're beauty and the power is actually still on it's got the corrugated tin ceilings here pull down light all right the lights actually work oh there's one there yes [Applause] the floors have definitely been done that's kind of like a chipboard oh wow that's full of books a ghost at noon latin unseens from roman history robin hood robin hood and his merry outlaws well there's probably some really old classics in there oh man and more that's gonna weigh a ton to try and move pride and prejudice flying tigers see what's in the bottom one more more more okay the floorboards like that skirting board was probably suffering termite damage yeah if you couldn't already tell from the front there's another level downstairs obviously with those stairs there's a big huntsman just sitting in the corner i'm gonna be careful stepping on there more books there's a few cassettes there too they might even be vinyls i think [Applause] chad morgan tammy winnett classic country country hits into country music chad morgan if you're an aussie you know exactly who chad morgan is where's this guy it turns but it doesn't unlock i got a feeling that may have been the front exit or sorry the other door that was at the front check that on the way out here's the back all right let's go downstairs there's a load of dust and cobwebs so it looks like they were um doing renaults maybe the last time someone was in here who knows and these steps look pretty new so we should be okay yeah you can see where um actually it looks like they've completely gutted the original levels and started again maybe realized that the um damage was more extensive when i first thought there's the old fireplace i can't believe how cold it cool it is in here it's like 37 degrees uh celsius outside really hot day today and you wouldn't even know it because look look how thick these homes are built thick walls i can't believe the front door was just open considering they've got all these um grates over the windows as well okay the kitchen cobweb in my face that one okay this is quite modern definitely started from scratch with the flooring do i open it there's some milk and there's some old cheese moldy cheese and some kfc maybe maybe there was a squatter in here they look like bowls balls and lids and that fridge just started up you can hear it hmm the sign i think the signs of a squatter may be staying in here as well first aid kit well there was a squatter um i walked through cobwebs in that door so i don't think anyone's come through here for a little while oh this is a bit uh dark and dingy newspapers goodbye mr gundy 1969. someone's definitely cut these out to keep adelaide crow supporter unfortunately [Applause] hold monaro wins hardy for roto 500 there's no date on that one all right you can't see a date on that one either fidgeting around empty there's a phone smashed phone [Music] oh check out the bathroom i can see a pedestal sink so yeah this is the laundry and bathroom the old trough it's that whipper snipper looks like a makeshift security measure someone busted in that window there's heaps of cobwebs here even those switches there are the old art deco bakelite ones wow canary yellow all matching toilet bath shower sink oh man so many cobwebs i'm just hang on i'm just gonna like wipe the lens just in case just trying to figure out whether that was put in in the 50s or it's been repurposed from 50s home and put in at some point probably being put in well and surely after the 50s seems like they've redone a few things in here but the um the old ceiling's still original so it may be it may have been there from the 50s brent pretty cool all right that must be the back door all right we'll go back out the front close yeah that was that was that door with the key it was turning but it's what a shame it's got the classic old features so that's the laundry in there which is locked i don't know that may be a laundry original shed the whole place is getting knocked down you can see it's had a rendering over the original stones and the renderings got the artificial seams in it the old cactus there's the back door there jesus warm out here compared to inside so it's the old barbecue area check it out we're right down near a creek so wouldn't be surprised if this snake's out and about hot near water i haven't got my gators on either um shame these old places have to go but whoever owns it doesn't want to um have a pit of money continuously putting money into it peppercorn trees this is an awesome spot actually picture it if it wasn't all overgrown and uh in its heyday looking over into that creek hmm [Music] back to where it's cool where i'm going to wrap it up guys classic old cottage double story original um walls roofs everything else but the levels
