is [Music] now university has saved my soul that sounds good [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh now this is only for the radical believers god has done something for you put your hands together let the army sound the alarm today this is our testimony i needed rescue my sin was heavy but chains break at the weight of your glory i needed shelter i was an orphan but you call me [Applause] my eyes are open [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] somebody in this place give the lord a [Music] praise [Music] in the name of the lord who's worthy to be praised hallelujah to your name oh god there's no one greater than our god the lord is going to do some great and mighty things are you prepared for the greater things that the lord will do i don't know about you but i'm trusting and believing him for the greater things to come i believe the lord is up to something awesome and something incredible it's up to us to decide whether we decide want to stay on the left side or stay on the right side i choose to stay on the right side of god i choose to be in the place to where i will honor him with everything that is within me and i will give him praise and glory in jesus name one two three four [Music] praise your father [Music] renew restore revive your church and make us hope ignite transform take us to a place [Music] with believe the lord wants to do something great are you ready for that today i believe the lord wants to do something that is blunt mind-blowing i believe that the earth will shake if we'll trust in him in the weights that he has given us the confidence to know that he's in control of all things we testify [Music] [Music] is [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] glory to your name amen is that true [Music] [Applause] amen how y'all doing i just wanted to say thank you for everybody that prayed for me i was in the hospital you know i was saying earlier i heard people say i could feel your prayers i've heard people say that to me and i really didn't understand what that felt like until about a month and a half ago i could really feel your prayers thank you i was just too weak to even half talk and i couldn't pray for myself and i could feel your prayers helping me alone and about the third day that i was in the hospital the lord spoke a word to me and i i text heather and i said heather text the praise team and tell them whenever they speak about me or whenever they talk about me or whatever if they're praying for me the lord told me to tell him the text hashtag god is bigger [Music] he's bigger than cove and he's bigger than any situation you find yourself in he's bigger than any circumstance any dis-ease and so they started texting me back god is bigger god is bigger god is bigger and in my weakest moment he gave me so much strength he spoke that word and things changed because of the authority that's in that word [Music] that's our next song today i want you to believe every word of it and whatever you're believing him for if you can see it creation blows the voice that spoken to the voice [Music] the darkness fears and though the night [Music] drive is back once more [Music] [Applause] [Music] believe god [Music] is [Music] [Applause] things [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] is [Music] is [Music] is [Music] have i not spoken will i not do have i not spoken will i not do just one word [Music] wow that's a prophetic message for you today has he not spoken will he not do thank you for that prophetic utterance you've heard a testimony today and you've heard the word today already this is worship is not preliminary preliminaries and warm-ups for the sermon [Music] worship is the greatest thing you do and out of worship intimacy brings insight in revelation that's why we believe in prophetic pastor james and jackie believe in prophetic worship they don't just sing songs like well let's see paige let's flip through here no it's prayed about it is sought sought god after and when they sing it they are declaring it [Music] just like the preaching of the word when they sing it they are declaring it they are pulling down strongholds of the enemy they are declaring the word and the authority of jesus in your life in this church i laugh a lot you know i notice i laugh a lot because i when you've got victory you laugh hallelujah so today it's about about really you taking the authority [Music] and jesus said in matthew 28 18 that all authority is given to me in heaven and earth that means he has authority over the devil in case you didn't realize it [Music] y'all in a hurry to go to dustin's today are you ready for to meet god today hallelujah [Music] you see us christians really have have to watch it that we don't get so familiar with the bible that we forget who spoke it [Music] it was a roman centurion officer who had the greatest faith not the church of the jews in jesus day he said you know jesus i'm a man of authority and i speak to one and they do it i recognize your authority you don't have to come to my house if you just say the word it'll happen jesus said the bible says that he marveled and said that means he went wow or something like that i haven't found this great of faith in all of israel one word so today we declare the word that your family shall be saved acts 16 31. be saved and your entire house we declare in your family acts 16 31 we declare the hardest husband the most distant wife the most riotous kids that they're all going to be saying acts 16 31. [Music] or you have some of you have trained up your children the way they should go the bible makes a promise in proverbs 4 that they will not depart permanently from that declared today they're coming home they're going to be saved [Music] one of our elders asher murphy had a son that got away from the lord he prayed for him regularly in fact asher prays right over there he kneels down in that balcony seat and he prays for all of you one day and we pray for him our elders prayer meeting and he said you know that his son passed away and there was some trepidation but yet when he went to michigan he found out that his son had given his heart to the lord but god had sent somebody by and he gave his heart to the lord let me tell you that even though your kids may temporarily depart i believe that they will you train them up in the ways they go they will ultimately not depart and they will come back to christ my point is we're in prayer whether it's your finances you declare philippians 4 19 my god shall supply all i need you declare isaiah 53 and 4 or first peter 2 24 that in my body by his stripes i am healed and i am delivered diabetes you have to leave in jesus name [Music] let's pray lord i feel the spirit of intercession this morning we begin to intercede and lord we thank you for meeting us this morning we praise you god for declaring your will for our lives this morning so you've told us that you've given us authority over all the enemy and we can tread on serpents and scorpions so we come against the blindness against the unsaved relatives in our family in jesus name and we we curse the blindness and we we pray for god to reveal light and love and they would be safe we say acts 16 31 that my household shall be saved they will not depart we declare in our bodies your divine healing that you became poor that we might become rich in healing in every part of our body we declare first peter 2 24 by your stripes we are healed we are healed we are healed we declare it come on declare i am healed by the stripes we declare every need is met because my god shall supply my god shall supply my god is is right now supplying all my need according to his riches in glory so lord today we just thank you that you have all authority in heaven and earth and the word that you've given to us we stand upon it devil you're a liar the lord rebuke you even the lord who has chosen us rebuke you and lord in jesus name we know the truth today the truth sets us free that we have authority through your word through your work and today we give you the praise for all the victory all the blessings all the deliverances all the provisions all the good gifts all the abundant life lord we praise you because of your word of authority it is in our life and it shall come to pass in jesus name can you give the lord your praise today come on and praise it hallelujah hallelujah oh thank you lord thank you jesus amen we'll wave to somebody smile as you're seated let knocking over fire hydrants could be pastor jason learning to drive that big rig uh so again they are still helping us a little bit here as they're transitioning but we want to announce to you two new staff members one is miss brienne langsdale uh if you'll stand she is married to adam and adam's i believe there adam's there with her adam if you'll stand and they have yes give her a god bless ms brienne and her husband adam and their two daughters emma and charlotte have been attending here for about three years now she has been doing our social media for free isn't that nice praise god but we have hired her to continue to be our social media coordinator and administrative assistant to myself from the general church she has lots of formal education and experience in social media platforms and again is going to be somebody that will and already has helped turn this church into a greater community presence and so we are very excited about her being with us so again let's welcome brienne and adam langsdale they will mention the next person uh you've probably seen more on stage because she is one of the part of our praise team that's miss jacqueline keith miss jackson yeah you brought your personal fan club i see and miss nelda way to go uh again miss jacqueline keith uh will be directing our little lambs daycare and so she will be the new director for that [Music] she has unearned a bachelor of arts in elementary education with a k-12 reading endorsement and an e-soul certificate certification she's maintained a dean's list status in all of her collegiate career she has a wealth of experience and is just leaving the tenure a six-year tenure as a third grade teacher in the public school of the timber crest elementary school in deltona so we are excited for her out of her rich background especially public school background to now direct our little lambs christian daycare one more time would you give god bless and welcome [Applause] [Music] amen and both of those ladies uh and their spouses will be out in the lobby today so when you leave you can go by meet them and introduce yourself and so they can get acquainted with you so we're excited for these new additions well it's time to worship the lord with our giving and as they put the slide up we can do that with giving online or giving them text to give or in the model church but when we give it is a sign of thanksgiving and when i see what god is doing and hear what god is doing i can tell that he's blessed you and i say that week after week because i'm just amazed while there is economic factors in our country that god has blessed you that are here at city sanctuary and so praise god i rejoice with you but as we worship him today uh let's give him thanks for what he's given to us our father we give thanks to you today first and foremost because you are good all the time thank you that every day every moment every good and perfect gift comes down from you so today we honor you with our first fruits of our increase we give you the tithe and the offering and the special offering may in every way you bless your people may they have the windows of heaven open up over their lives their families everything their hand touches lord may it prosper so lord in every way may they return to the house of god with testimonies about the goodness and the giving of god for that out some different speakers to see if they sound uh any uh better than the current ones you know i told you that in this auditorium it's kind of like the bible in revelation chapter 3 where there is some hot and some cold and some lukewarm we have hot spots where the sound is really hot and then we got cold spots where you say what'd they say what'd they say and then you got some this is in the middle kind of lukewarm and we're trying to balance the room with all kinds of different uh technology so that we can have the same experience for everybody so if you have been used to bringing your cotton swabs to put in your ears we will remedy that with our remodel you say yeah i'll wait to see right i've always said if people are going to go to hell from church it'll be because of either the sound or the air conditioning temperature in the room i'm glad somebody enjoyed that today we're going to read the same scripture we read last week and let me just echo to you that next sunday will be a special day it's a day for you to invite people it's a day for you to enjoy a day when pastor james and jackie will put together a tribute of music that is patriotic but yet it is expressing faith in our god it's worship music we have a special soloist that you have not heard that also has sung at disney or sings at disney and as a christian and again i think you'll very much enjoy that special solo us as well as our own team so that'll be next sunday and both services don't miss it and again we will look forward to that luke chapter 22 and verse 31-32 this is again the verse that was talked about last week and yet when jesus told him to have a turnaround how was that going to happen i believe this is a missing ingredient many times we preach sermons but we don't teach the truth that is every sermon has teaching in it but it also has preaching so this is more of a teaching about how you can have a turnaround in your life luke chapter 22 verse 31 and 32 jesus said simon simon behold satan has demanded to sift you men or the word therefore you is plural like wheat but i have prayed for you that your faith will not fail and you when you have turned back or turned around anybody need a turnaround experience in some area of your life amen amy thank you when you have turned around or turned back strengthen your brothers how do you get a turnaround well we're going to talk about this the turnaround spirit today that god's spirit is a turnaround spirit father we thank you for the fact that we can worship you freely in this nation as we approach the fourth of july lord we pray that your blessing would be upon the presentations next week that truly our trust would be in god and not in politicians or governments lord in every way that we would honor you in this nation we pray that you would give our nation another great awakening and another great move of god so father today we are beseeching you for an individual move of god we're praying also that you would have a church move of god that lord that you would awaken not only this church but awaken the church that god we would have a turnaround spirit in the church and lord we'll give you praise because we know that is the spirit you have and what you gave and we'll thank you for it now in jesus name everybody said amen amen god bless you beloved i want to first before i move the scripture off the screen i want to talk to you about a person by the name of agnes agnes sanford was someone who lived from 1897 to 19 and 82. agnes was someone who was the daughter of a presbyterian chinese missionary couple and they were also she would also marry a episcopal rector when we look at this religious background that she had presbyterian parents who were missionaries in china and also married a minister an episcopal minister you would think that she would have a pretty abundant and joy-filled life but that was not the case and it's not the case with sometimes many people who come to church some people who come week after week even maybe dealing with things that you don't know about maybe it's a trauma maybe it's some kind of activity that has caused them to battle loneliness depression some kind of fear anxiety or physical things well she was someone who she wrote she was miserable she struggled in her life she struggled in trying to do the daily things she was supposed to cook three meals a day and yet she was a terrible cook and hated to cook she was someone who wanted to be a writer but she felt like she was strapped to the home and didn't have any time to write she was someone who when she would go to the second floor of their home and look at the second floor windows would wonder maybe one day she would throw herself out of one of those windows she would be cooking a meal and she would have a knife to do some different peeling of vegetables or potatoes and she would wonder if that knife was sharp enough to take her own life her doctor was amazed that she made it from year to year because she was battling this for six years yes she's religious she has missionary parents and she's married to a minister well it was about that time in 1947 that her youngest child jack had a six-week fever that would not break and there was a spirit-filled man pentecost that had turned at the turn the century took off but there wasn't everybody who thought it was such a great thing a spiritual man hollis caldwell said i'd like to pray for your son she said there's no use it won't do any good and he said well i believe it will so she allowed him to come to her house and pray for her little son jack immediately little jack quieted down immediately he took a nap and when he woke up he was completely healed of the fever she was so astounded at that that she wanted him to pray for her so she asked him to come back and and actually she went to the place where he was the and and he prayed for her she said she felt waves waves of joy start filling her mind and taking out all the depression that she had battled for six years and she said she was instantly healed and delivered from what she had battled from that point she began to talk to different uh pastor's wives and different people in the church and one by one she would begin what was referred to as the inner healing movement she would then form a school being baptized in the holy spirit in 1952 with the evidence to speak in tongues she would form a school in 1958 for pastors it was a pastoral care for their families and then she would hit the road she would go from city to city with big tent meetings seeing many people delivered both emotionally and physically from things that were keeping them bound she is credited for beginning the inner healing ministry people like francis mcnutt picked it up from there other people like the elijah house and even in 1980s it was the cleansing stream which we have here at this church that was a part of the inner healing deliverance ministry that sprang forth from jack hayford's church in van nuys california and what we have seen here over and over again is people who come through cleansing stream and come through the healing and deliverance of god as they allow him to work through the repentance and work through also the rejection of lies of the enemy or lies we've told ourselves forgiveness and also see the restoration reconciliation of god work in our life this is the very scene that we see with the apostle peter it was not the text we read but you'll find this in john chapter 21. in john chapter 21 we'll find the scene of his restoration we'll find the place where it's most prominently noted that he was restored back in the right relationship with the lord you see sometimes we're like agnes sometimes we are like the apostle peter before he became peter we're simon sometimes we are walking wounded sometimes we are are are coming through devastating things and losses and painful traumas and we're going through things in our life sometimes we begin to follow christ at a distance just like simon did when he was going through some of the most traumatic moments of his life but yet in all of that what we find is there was a turnaround spirit that would lead him back to the very place of the restoration and that he would grow through that experience and let me tell you today that simon wasn't what he was going to become one day let me tell you that no matter how how young or old you are you're not what you are supposed to become one day god is still working on you somebody say thank god for that right god still has a spirit of turnaround that he's working in your life even now to turn you into that uh promise of god that he made to you so what was it we see that inner healing talks about first that there is a ingredient of repentance we find in luke luke chapter 22 verse 62 that right in the same chapter that jesus describes peter is going to be sifted and that he is going to deny the lord and then it actually happens where he denies the lord on the last denial uh the the lord turns and looks at peter and peter hears the crow and he goes out and the bible says in verse 62 that he weeps bitterly now again there is a sorrow second corinthians 7 and 10 tells us that is a worldly sorrow and leads to death that is a sorrow where people have nowhere to turn they don't know any redemptive work of god they feel like that what they've done is unforgivable too shameful to go on living many people take their life because they just can't take it like agnes was contemplating as well but yet that's a worldly sorrow why is it a worldly soul because the devil wants to steal kill and destroy all of our lives and he's the prince and power of the air so that's why he gives shame and he gives guilt to people to try to destroy them but god allows the things that happen in our life to show us grace and mercy and uses those to restore us and make us into what he has always planned for us to become so we see that peter wept bitterly and his repentance was seen and that he would rejoin the other disciples he would be there when the women came and said that the tomb is empty and he would be the second person in there to show that again he was still very much wanting to do and be what god wanted him to do and to be so it is we find that repentance was followed by a rejection of the lies the rejection of the lies that he was telling himself and he was telling others where are some of the things that jesus began to restore him with in john chapter 21 when jesus began to restore him he said peter or actually didn't call him peter he said simon do you love me more than all of these this is the very thing that peter said in matthew 26 that even if all these others deny you and leave you i will not i will stick with you i might have to go to prison and die with you and so he asked him peter do you agape this is a greek word for love the highest form of love to you agape you love me in a totally sold-out fashion peter does not respond with the word agape he said lord you know all things and he said basically saying lord you know how i failed you so basically lord i love you he used another greek word which is not as committed as agape not as unconditional it's a word of philae which means that i really love you or really like you but i'm not totally committed to you well then jesus still begins to restore him and says well then i want still i want you to feed my sheep well you know what i'm going to tell you that even though we are not where we need to be the bible says in romans 11 29 that the gifts and the callings of god are irrevocable come on now somebody what god has ordained and called you to you may run from it you may feel like you're not worthy of it but he never changes his mind because it's not about you and what you can do it's all about him and what he can do in you to make you what you are supposed to be to again fulfill his plan in this world so again we find out that he had to repent from the rejected lies that he thought he was all that that yes i thought i had the faith to go through any trial and be committed but i didn't i failed i denied you three times i told myself a lot i told other people lie i found out what my real faith level was and sometimes you don't really realize until you go through that loss you go through that trauma you go through that financial difficulty or physical ailment you really didn't have the kind of faith that you thought you had maybe you began to follow at a distance and all that it brings then other condemnation from the devil that can make you continue to follow god at a distance because you don't feel worthy all these kinds of guilt and shame issues begin to surface and we live defeated christian lives i'm telling you that there's a turnaround spirit that peter said in first peter chapter one verse two he talked about the convicting work of the holy spirit that worked in his life and that works in all of our lives as believers and what that did is that kept dealing with him about where he was and kept moving him forward so he again begins to reject the lie he basically says oh lord you know i don't love you agape i love you phileo i i can't say i can't lie anymore i'm going to say the truth on where i'm at so jesus asked him a second question how many times did peter denied the lord three times how many questions did jesus ask him three questions and what were they about they were about love praise god they were all about affection and love oh yeah god can take care of all the other things in our life that are shortcomings if we have a perfected love in fact peter said in first peter 3 18 sanctify the lord in your heart that has set the lord apart in a special place of your heart is number one that he had not done that but he learned to do that he wrote others to do that that basically we needed the most important things to have our heart and love peter do you agape love me no i don't i fellaio three times he says feed my feed my lambs which is the younger ones he goes through this question the third time and this time the bible says in john 21 16 that peter was grieved you see sometimes as christians we have lost you know the old time prayer of conviction around the altar you know and even it used to be methodists methods used to have mourner's bench right where people would mourn over their sin it's the beatitudes right blessed are they that mourn mourn not only of a loss but mourn over our sin right that we're there used to be a time where we mourned if we weren't pleasing god there we should be a time where again we would allow pain but we live in such convenience today that none of us want to kind of deal with that i don't want to be under too much conviction i don't want to really deal with that i just want to have a convenient blessing i don't tell you god hasn't changed and the conviction that you may feel and about the sin that you commit or the disobedience that we are committing is going to actually be god's grace upon your life if he doesn't convict you then you can't change if he doesn't draw you you can't be saved if he doesn't do a work in your life and say hey look you need to change and clean that up in your life then we may set ourselves up for the devil to do worse things in our life don't spurn the conviction of the holy spirit that's the best friend you have as the holy spirit and if he's convicting you then repent if he's convicting you then change if he's trying to lead you to change the way you're doing something then change it why because he is the god that's good all the time and he's the god that wants to lead you to an abundant life don't turn him away let the conviction of the holy spirit drive you like simon it says that he was grieved in his spirit that he asked a third time and all that was working for the good god was changing him he knew that he felt he knew that he wasn't where he needed to be oh god grant us the desire not to give up when times are tough but the desire to say god i know you're working in me to perform your will and your good pleasure so help me to work out my salvation with fear and trembling before you and understand that you're working something good and better in my life than where i am right now and then came the restoration of his original purpose what was that he said three times the commission was you're gonna feed my sheep or tend my sheep then you're gonna feed my lambs you're gonna tend uh my my sheep and again he's talking about older and younger sheep as the older lambs of the younger you're going to 10 which is lead or you're going to feed you're going to teach and speak into the church that my original commission and he calls him simon son of jonah and that was his first question that's the original call in john 1 42 that he's given him a 360. that even though he's been through all the failure that he's saying i list the enemy wants to destroy you satan wants to shift you with a trauma with a failure with an embarrassment with a with a guilt with a shame he wants to depress you with mental health he wants to bring you down so you always follow him at a distance but let me tell you something again that the god of all grace is still here jesus christ and he said the original intent that when i called you i knew when i called you you would fail me i knew when i called you you denied me three times when i needed you the most i knew when i called you that you'd have these ups and downs in your life but i still called you because it's not about you simon it's about what i can do in you that's the greatest verses he said in john chapter 3 he talks about come and follow me and i will make you to become fishers of men they weren't fishers of men but god was going to make them to become what they couldn't be in their own strength this is not about self-help in church this is not about what you can do with self-will this is about the grace of god and allowing the holy spirit and the word of god to come into your life and depend on him every day to change your life and letting the power of the holy spirit restore and bring you to the place that only god can bring you to that's why you have to be humble you have to be seeking you have to be hungry for god's word and hungry for god's spirit because that's the turnaround spirit that when you have the turnaround spirit god will turn your life around to make it what you cannot do but what only he could make you become if you believe that give him a praise in the house amen hallelujah praise god thank you jesus you see but there is also a mystery side to our faith there is a there is a a spiritual world out there that we can't put in the empirical test tube there is a an experience with god that simon did not know he was going to have he did not know he was going to be a part of the day of pentecost and received this incredible baptism in the holy spirit he had no idea what was ahead but he had positioned himself to be in that place for the turnaround spirit to make the biggest difference in his life jonathan khan wrote the book the book of mysteries and in that book he he talks about the mysteries of the old testament that have been revealed in the new testament and and how that old testament things are are coming to pass and he begins to show us there's a part of our faith that is a mystery in fact deuteronomy 29 29 the mysteries belong to god right but we shall walk in those things that he's revealed to us and so what is happening is that we walk in the revelation that we have but we know that intimacy with god brings us greater revelation and information inspiration from god when we look at what is going on in chapter 2 of acts acts 17 and 18. this is what peter says about the mysterious work of the holy spirit in the upper room and yet then there's a mighty rushing wind and they all are filled with the spirit and cloven tongues of fire sat upon each of their heads and then they began to speak in other language they haven't learned and they began to speak by the inspiration of the holy spirit and all those from all the nations began to hear them speak in their own language this was a miracle that could never have taken place without having the humility to allow god to do that work in your life and the dedication and passion to go day after day for 10 days to the upper room to be in prayer waiting for something you've never received not knowing what it was going to be like just knowing that you trusted jesus christ and that you were going for everything that he wanted for your life oh that's why people come to church of gods and assemblies of gods and four squares and charismatic denominations because they sometimes come out of places that don't teach those things and they want to experience more from the presence of god or the word of god you see this is where peter came to that turn around spirit you say well pastor you know i'm on this denominational background we we don't believe in this that and the other i'm not asking you for your denominational creed i'm only asking you to look into this bible i'm only asking you to study the word of god i'm only asking you to say if it's in this book like mary said let it be according to your word oh lord that's what i want in my life this is what he said in verse 16 he said we are not drunk as you suppose but this is that which is spoken of by the prophet joel and the last days saith god i'm going to pour out my spirit upon all flesh and he says your sons and daughters are going to prophesy and that's what was happening the sons and daughters of abraham on the day of pentecost were prophesied in all these languages right he said your your young men will see visions your old mental dream dreams and upon my servants and hand maidens in those days every social strata every gender both genders everything was covered that i'm going to pour my spirit out upon all flesh well what was that basically saying well we have to look at the context to understand what that was saying when peter was quoting that there was a similar context to his day to the day of joel if you want to go back in your bibles you can go back to joel chapter 1 verse 2. he said nothing like this has ever happened before and it begins in verse 4 to talk about what environmental locus that began to gnaw at the vegetation what we've seen in our environment lately has been a pandemic right we have seen uh nothing like this before and not only in our nation but also in our world am i right have we seen anything like this before i'm not talking about the spanish flu in europe i'm talking about this wide reach of a pandemic in america but what we see here is that there's been 33 million cases there have been over 600 thousand deaths of the coronavirus and now they're talking about how they're going to incentivize people to get the vaccine things that are crazy like you find out that they're giving away free marijuana in arizona and and other places in washington state if you'll just get the vaccine president biden's saying hey he wants uh borrowers to give a free beer if you can produce a vaccine shot then you've got las vegas strip clubs that are offering free entry if you show a vaccination car crazy times that we're living in today about the the environment that we live in but also we know in verse 5 and he talks about that awake you drunkards he says awake those that are just basically living in the world and forgetting the there is a divine timetable going on and god is dealing with the nation but yet there's many people that are just saucing it up and just living up uh their life with the things of the world we know that during the the coronavirus that there's been an increase in alcohol sales of 54 and then an online alcohol sales of 339 percent that people when they couldn't get out they would just order it online and again we're seeing that america has basically trying to drink their way through this pandemic so the bible says what awake you drunkards awake those that are trying to basically have a worldly way to deal with this understand that god is dealing with you in a bigger and a greater way and that you shouldn't just drink this away you should understand that god is dealing with you goes on also to the prosperity he talks about prosperity has been eaten away by the locusts and these are lines of unemployment again 23 27 rather people who have been without a job within the last year but yet 42 percent of business owners 42 say they can't find enough uh workers who want to work and be employed in our country currently so what we're finding is we're finding economic loss there's all those things in the supply chain today that are held up because there's not enough workers and and so forth and so on the terrorism he talks about in in joel 1 and 6 that another nation is going to and other nations are going to infiltrate you and they're going to bring terrorism to you we've seen that last week if you look at the dark side in the colonial pipeline and then again also the reveal terrorist group that attacked jbs and then there's churches he talks about this in verse nine that how that the grain offering and liability offering have been dried up that there is nothing to sacrifice to god that there is an effect now in the house of god that everything that's going on is affecting the people of god so we have seen one out of every five churches they say will not reopen that closed during the coronavirus that there has been an attack against uh churches gathering churches wars and one in five will not reopen because of what we have been through and then there is depression joel 1 and 12. he talks about how that the joy has withered away we look at the mental health stats and how that the depression among adults has risen 20 more in the time of the coronavirus and it's risen 50 54 more among those that are ages 18 to 24. that is the young adults have had even more depression to deal with than the adults have going through the coronavirus they say that an average of 75 000 people will take their lives and have taken their lives through this coronavirus and they call them deaths of despair because people have not seen any way out of the despair that they're in and they have taken their own lives as suicides are on the rise and this is what joel says in joel one and two has anything like this happened before friends we've had all kinds of things we've had world wars we've had difficulty in our country since it's become a nation but i'm trying to wake you up to say that the bible has prophetic layering first there's the context it was written in joel but peter begins to quote this for his generation he begins to quote this because he said that what's happening with the outpouring of the spirit is this is an application of joel's time that we have roman emperors he might say that that are persecuted will persecute the church we are opposed by the romans right now they at roman occupation they had their 30 taxi they had different things going on in their day and time but peter says this is the turn-around spirit that god said that in joel joel prophesied for the time of the tribulation period when there's 144 000 nobody can kill all those things that god's going to do for the for israel in the tribulation time because joel chapter 3 verse 14 talks about multitudes in the valley of decision that's the battle of armageddon so joel is prophesying about even in that time the worst time that's going to come upon the world that god's still going to have a turnaround spirit that's going to evangelize the world at that time and they won't be able to kill that 144 000 group right because god's turnaround spirit is going to make sure that the evangelism goes forth until everybody is saved that he knows is going to be saved so the same thing peter says i know that this is that which joel spoke about and yes he said that he said that in these last days that there was going to be a turn around spirit can i tell you today that i believe that there is there is and that there is going to be a greater outpouring of the holy spirit in our man of america in us among the church around the world than ever before as we move forward but there's also going to be things are going to grow worse and worse in our world so what am i trying to say i'm trying to say that the very thing that turned peter around or simon around was when he was on the day of pentecost baptized in the holy spirit that was the key ingredient to turning his life around being filled with the very spirit romans 8 9 of jesus christ and so i'm saying also that he quotes it as he begins to preach he begins to say that this promise is not just for me but it's for you and it's for your children and it's for all those that be as far off as many as the lord our god shall call that as tough as times are god has a turn around experience for you and for me what does that look like well joel talks about it like this in joel 2 11. he says that the lord uttered his voice and a great army a rose that would fulfill his word in the earth i'm here to tell you that god is uttering his voice around the world christianity is growing like crazy around the world and the lord is still in these days and times he is uttering his voice and the army of the lord is arising and they are going to fulfill his word in the earth i'm going to tell you he's not coming back for a lazy milk toast dating bride he's coming back for the shulamite woman who is fully sold out in love ready to go to the ends of the earth ready to search him out every day and walk and talk with him he is coming back for an army he's coming back for people who are militant people who are ready to see his word his word his word fulfilled in the earth that's the kind of time that we are living in it's weeping and intercession joel 2 and 17. he says they will weep between the porch and the altar and they will intercede you see it's not time to play patty cake patty cake it's time i'm saying believer it's time to begin to weep and to begin to intercede for your family for our nation for this world because it is the power it is what we sang today jackie's saying about one word from your authority makes all the difference do you realize that we are kingly royal priesthood that we have not only the ability to intercede like christ but like like like peter knew that he did not pray in the time he was not vigilant he said can you not tarry one hour he didn't carry one hour and the enemy mopped him up right shifted him like we can i tell you if you're not going to pray in this day and time you are leaving yourself open for weakness you're leaving yourself open doing a time of trial temptation to be shifted by the enemy i'm telling you you got to be vigilant you got to watch and you got to pray these are things peter wrote about in his epistle you've got to know that these days are dangerous times and the enemy is like a roaring lion you know the bible talks about christ as a lion it talks about his courage as a lion that he was courageous enough to leave heaven courageous enough to go and uh to beat the devil up uh face to face courageous enough to to rob those uh prisoners in in the hades he was courageous enough as a lion but it talks about the devil and talks about six words about the movement of the lion in the old testament you read about it in job chapter four verses eight and nine it talks about how of his uh his roar talks about his voice talks about his teeth talks about his fierceness it goes on and on about the things of a lion and then it talks about the roar four different times in the bible of a lion and the roar refers to the ferociousness of satan it refers to his fierceness to try to devour and peter knew that firsthand he knew he said what he said that the devil who is roaming like a roaring lion he is fiercely trying to find someone to devour he said that you resist him steadfast in the faith right and he will flee from you hallelujah well that's what it talks about that you're gonna have to be a an army that rises up you're gonna have to be an interceding royal priesthood who understands your authority and then he talks about what this last day's army is not going to be drunk peter said but dynamic he talks about how there's going to be prophesying there's going to be again dreams there's going to be visions there is no spectator church in the last days everybody is fulfilled with the spirit everybody is doing something inspired by the holy spirit it's time not to sit around it's time to say god give me the turn around spirit that i can be someone that you can build your kingdom upon i can be somebody that you can use not just hold on until i get to heaven but somebody that i can be used to win my neighbors to win somebody to share christ's love with my family to be the person that god uses in these last days to do a great and mighty work of god if you believe it somebody say lord use me god use me signs and wonders is what he said would happen signs and wonders are what he said would happen and and he said that this signs and wonders would happen in the earth you see what it was going to be what he prophesied and preached was going to be worked out in his life in the days that would just follow he was going to see the lame man at the gate beautiful hill he was going to see people healed by his shadow he was going to see dorcas raised from the dead he was going to see the gentile pentecost at cornelius's house he was going to see how that there was going to be the jerusalem conference that was going to unite the gentiles with the jews he was going to see his his evangelism you read chapter one verse one of first peter he's going to show you the places that he went and then how he evangelized it and all that he did for the good he said but all that is going to be signs and wonders i'm here to tell you that he prophesied it because he believed that that's what god promised for that day and time this is that which was promised and prophesied by the prophet joel this is the word that god had and i can't convince you by many words today i can't convince you by raising my voice i can only say that i can imagine that moses when he was on the backside of the desert tending sheep thought his life was over and that he didn't realize that within a little bit of time that he was going to be performing the greatest miracles ever done upon the earth i'm here to tell you that you may feel like you're in a desert this morning and can't see yourself basically being used by god to perform signs and wonders and miracles but i'm going to tell you if he said it if he said it's going to happen then you want to say god use me in it amen and go god i'm going to tell you that i'm going to prophesy right now that god's going to use me in signs and wonders and miracles i'm going to prophesy that he's going to use you in signs of wonders and miracles why am i so great are you so great no but i know god's great and i know that god's soul passion is to win the loss his sole passion is deliver us from the devil and i believe if he said it it's going to come to pass what was that one key thing that caused the restoration of peter what was that one thing when he said to peter when you are turned around then go strengthen your brothers it was the power of the holy spirit baptism in his life i want to tell you don't turn it off don't turn it away don't look at the mystical aspect of your faith and say oh that's too scary too spooky for me no like mary god according to your word so be it in my life i pray that we are a congregation that says oh god give me the turn around spirit give me the baptism of the holy ghost give me the signs and wonders of god give me the gifts of the holy spirit come on somebody tell him today if you mean it today oh god use me god pour out your spirit in me god fill me with a power that turns my life around could you come to the piano please [Laughter] oh yeah the enemy hates this kind of preaching because he knows the enemy hates this kind of preaching because he knows if you get that kind of experience with god he knows he's in deep weeds i'm going to digress i've got another slide but i'm going to digress praise god anyway jesus help us today you see second kings chapter 9 where the time where king joram had continued the wickedness of of ahab and jezebel in israel and there was a time that when god took elijah to paradise he said i want you to anoint elisha and jehu and so forth well it would be elisha that would end up it was anointed by elijah it would be elijah who would end up sending a lad to the place where the military officers were and jehu was the commander they were sitting and he would send that young lad and that young lad would go in and say i need to meet with you privately in another room they went in another room and he poured the anointing oil over jehu he told him that god had anointed him to tear down the house of jezebel in ahab the messenger leaves and then jehu comes out of that room and all the officers are there and they basically said you read the story what happened to you i mean the guy is dripping in oil and he basically oh nothing nothing nothing really happened second kings chapter 9 verse 12 they said you lie you lie we know that you've been anointed as as the new king over israel isn't it something that just like today people are afraid to admit they're pentecostal or charismatic oh it got quiet in here did it oh you go to that church oh that they're there they believe in this or that the other right you you probably have has anybody here at all ever had somebody who wasn't charismatic or pentecostal ever when they found out that you went to a church like that did they ever say to you oh do you guys handle snakes anybody ever had that happen to you come on now i mean i have it all the time oh where the snake's at ha ha [Music] jehu what happened to you nothing god tell you that when you really meet the turn around spirit you can't hide it people know there's a difference in you when you really meet the turnaround spirit people know there's a difference in your life and they say hey is there something different your life no no no oh i pray that everybody everywhere i go notices a difference in my life and i pray that i'll be able to tell them that it's because of jesus christ and a turnaround spirit he's put in my life so then they set out for the palace for joramus it set out and joram sees them coming or the scouts see them come and they send out a horseman that said you come in peace and jehu says to that horseman peace what do you know about peace turn around and follow me and that soldier turned from one kingdom to another kingdom and followed jehu i'm going to tell you that better than having all the scriptures and everything tightened up on your outline to witness to somebody i want to tell you that when people begin to sense that turnaround spirit in your life [Music] along with your scriptures that's when that spirit is going to convict them that's when that spirit is going to move them i'm going to tell you they can sense whether you have the goods or you don't have the goods and that spirit inside of you the god inside of you is going to touch them and you're going to change them from their kingdom of satan contain them to the kingdom of god and they're going to have a turnaround how many people are here because somebody shared christ with you somebody had enough the holy ghost in you or them to share christ could have been your mom or your dad it could have been a a youth camp worker but somebody had enough of the holy spirit that when they said it the god in them reached into your heart and touched your heart and the god drew you and to turn your life around that's what happened and then the second horseman was sent the second horseman gets there the second horseman says do you come in peace j who says what do you know about peace turn around and follow me the second one turned around and followed him joram said well what's going on we lost two horsemen well they went out but they didn't come back let me tell you the devil hates it when people go out but they they don't come back to his kingdom praise god so this time joram himself goes out joram himself goes out and he says do you come in peace and he said oh you what do you know about peace you know the whole story that kind of thing and so then joram tries to wheel around his chariot and take off and run from him how many of you know the same turnaround spirit that draws people to god is the same turnaround spirit that'll turn around the enemy that comes against your life at the same turnaround spirit as the bible says in first john 4 4 greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world come on somebody i'm telling you the same turnaround anointing where people where peter had had fallen before that when he was baptized in the holy spirit he may have had a blip on the screen in galatians chapter 2 when he was a little high a little hypocrisy when he was eating with the jews and then went with the gentiles then went to the jews but i want to tell you that he never again turned back never again denied the lord never again followed at a distance after he had that turnaround experience with god's holy spirit in his life am i saying that it can't happen oh it can happen anytime we decide not to stay with god but i'm telling you i'm telling you church i'm telling you a christian i'm telling you the greatest thing in my life was the baptism of the holy spirit i'm telling you the greatest thing that could happen to you is to be full of the holy spirit that turn around power because that turnaround power gives you strength and it also repels the enemy when you begin to repel him in the name lord you begin to speak another tongue you begin to move that the holy spirit anointed in act or rather isaiah 10 and 27 the anointing will always break the yoke of bondage in your life i'm here to tell you you say you're making me uncomfortable pastor you're preaching about i may be making the devil uncomfortable today but i'm not making a believer uncomfortable today because i want to tell you every believer you should want everything that jesus christ has for you you should want to have every kind of turnaround power that he's made available oh i may be scaring the enemy away i may be scaring the enemy to try to kick the clamps down and try to tempt us to have fear today but i'm telling you something today that that turnaround spirit then went to tear down joram it went to tear down jezebel's kingdom i'm here to tell you the same turnaround spirit is still in the christians in the american church the same turnaround spirit can turn around this country once again the same turnaround spirit can turn your life around no matter what the enemy did to wound you to try to you and try to put you in a bondage in your life you still have the same turnaround spirit the same power same one [Music] [Applause] it's just all up to us to say god give me a turn around god give me a turn around come on pray that with me god give me a turn around spirit give me the turn around that you've ordained for me to have let's all stand to our feet today when jesus prophesied to peter that when you're turned around you're going to strengthen your brothers he would write those two epistles and they're filled with things that would give you more profit you can listen to the first service and see what those principles are that he would strengthen the disciples and the churches through what he learned in his sifting but i want to tell you today today is the time for you and me to stay fresh and new [Music] fill me fill me fill me with the holy spirit [Music] it's something that the holy spirit can change your marriage the holy spirit can change your health the holy spirit can heal your emotions the holy spirit can bring you that inner healing that peter had to have before he was ready to go forward and get more power with god some people won't let god in because they're dealing with so much baggage so many things that are holding them back get inner healed today come on somebody peter would write cast all your care upon him because he cares for you oh let go of that loss let go of that that trauma let go of that disappointment let go of the things that really really hurts you let go of those today come on somebody they're standing in the way of you going forward and god filling you with an overcoming overcoming turnaround in your life [Music] i feel fighting mad right now because i see the enemy what he's done in some people's lives i believe that it grieves jesus heart [Music] so today please just bow your head for just a second while we ask for salvation first if you're here today really truly you are on the heart of god and by divine appointment he's brought you here for whatever his purpose might be for those that don't know him or have been wounded or fallen away or fallen at a distance it's certainly jesus will to heal you to restore you reconcile you if you're here today and you have been wounded you've been even offended at jesus at god and the enemies kept you kept you really following the distance because of that today you say i want to i want to get rid of that i want to get rid of that if that's the way you feel that's the holy spirit the devil's not going to want you to say that the devil doesn't want you to raise your hand right now when i ask you because he wants to keep you in bondage and hurt in shame in disappointment etc etc etc but don't let that old serpent don't let that dragon who wants to destroy you don't let him have an inch in your life another moment defeat him right now and say i i want to get rid of all that junk right now and let god restore my soul that's you you say i need to be healed from hurts i need to be restored in my soul i want you to raise up your hand has a testimony lord i'm not going to ask you to come down here right now but i'm going to ask you just raise your hand i see a few i know there are many more here than that god help me god help me today you know beloved if if god didn't care i wouldn't be making this altar service longer than it is but i'm telling you god cares about you and he doesn't want you to walk around carrying traumas and bondages he wants you to be set free he wants to heal you innerly and fill you here today you say pastor i if i were to die today i wouldn't go to heaven i would be lost today i want to give my heart to christ i want to i want to accept him if you do online or in the house in-house did you raise your hand online i want you to give an icon but if you want to accept christ i want you to raise up your hand and say pastor if i want to die today i wouldn't go to heaven but i want to and i'm raising my hand because i want you to pray for me and i accept jesus i don't see any hands lifted so then i'm going to trust that everyone here is saved and then it says now it's the call of god to say god i want to be full of a turnaround spirit in the last days god is looking for people who allow him to do everything in their lives that he wants to do if you are wanting and allowing god to do everything your life i want to just have a mass altar call right here if you're coveted sensitive no problem you stay where you are but i'm going to ask as many of you as can to make a symbolic prophetic step and come up and stand across this all for right now just move out of your seat quickly move out of your suit see right now come on join right here and here what's the altar call it's about i want to have everything in my life of the holy spirit that god wants me to have in these last days i want to be full of the holy spirit full of his word i want to arise i want to be full of the power of god i want to be full of his spirit i want to turn around in my life i want to see god move in my life in great ways hallelujah to god hallelujah to god hallelujah to god hallelujah to god oh i begin oh as you draw near to god i feel him drawing near to you do you feel that right now i feel him drawing near to you as you draw near to him that's right yes come on start praying praising right now i feel the holy spirit lord we're going to make room for you to do hallelujah no hallelujah yes i feel your presence embrace it i feel your presence lord uh lord i feel you just brooding over us i feel you hovering over us i feel you moving in us today thank you holy spirit thank you holy spirit thank you holy spirit thank you holy spirit we want all that you want to do in us we want to turn around right now in our lives we want to turn around right now in our lives we want to turn around right now in our lives we want to turn around right now in it fill us oh fill me with a turnaround in my life but turn around spirit of god turn me around lord fill me with the holy ghost baptize me immerse me in in the power of your presence lord come on praise him right now come on praise him right now oh come on and work right now in prayer right now god fill me i rebuke the enemy in jesus name i rebuke doubt and fear away in jesus name lord we embrace the unknown we embrace the holy spirit we embrace the mystery of the god spirit living inside of us we embrace the baptism in the holy spirit speak to us holy ghost speak to us holy ghost speak to us holy ghost oh lord we embrace you lord we embrace your presence we embrace your spirit we embrace oh god fill us fill us with the turnaround in the holy ghost that we need right now [Music] oh jesus oh jesus precious lord jesus oh that's right turn around we just break off we break the bondage the anointing breaks the bondage the anointing breaks the yoke in jesus name we break the yoke of the devil we break the yoke of depression we break the yoke of sin we break the yoke of guilt we break the yoke of shame we break the yoke of failure we break the yoke of mental illness we break the yoke of infirmity and we break the yoke of every enemy spirit is trying to afflict the people of god we break it in jesus night oh hallelujah thank you lord for freedom in the spirit thank you lord for freedom in the spirit thank you god that by your spirit the anointing breaks the yoke of every bondage in my life in our life in jesus name thank you oh enemy you're defeated by the holy ghost greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world we praise you god we thank you god for the victory and the liberty through jesus christ this morning oh blessed be the lord blessed be the lord blessed be the lord blessed be the lord blessed be the lord praise god for the turnaround hallelujah the god say well pastor this kind of freaks me out well i'll tell you what you get a taste of this in your heart you won't be freaked out anymore some of you some of you may have way too much pride peter said humble yourself under the mighty hand of god clothe yourself in humility you see you have to be humble to cry in front of other people you have to be humble to lift up your hands in front of other people say oh god fill me you have to be humble to say god fill me with the holy spirit you have to be humble to allow him to speak through you in other tongues you have to be humble to say god i give you these traumas i can't work it out i need you to do work in my life i need you give me the turnaround that's the humility that attracts the presence of god that's the humility that draws the spirit of the turnaround into your life so one more time as they sing i'm gonna ask you to to war in prayer to humble yourself to ask god for what you need and then to believe that you receive it oh we are defeating the enemy right now take authority lord we take authority over the devil we take authority over every principality power we take authority we take authority over every uh attempt right now to keep us from receiving every breakthrough that you've ordained for us [Music] in the name of jesus we repent from all sin we renounce all hidden works of darkness so the enemy has nothing to accuse us with he has no strings and no hold upon us and we break off every bondage in jesus name in the name of jesus we break it all off and now we ask you to bless and to pour out the power the power the power the power of the holy spirit in our lives in the name of jesus which is saying to right now sing right now as they do saying would you worship god right now come on let's do it right now holy spirit holy spirit lead us to the heart of [Music] jesus [Music] oh [Music] way touch claudette touch her family today other people lord that come to this church that need you so bad but lord i pray that they will turn and listen to what thus says the word of the lord from the minister said today in jesus name we pray amen amen praise god amen let's put our hands together praise the lord for that you're welcome to stay and pray with any of the prayer partners or
