are y'all here for one thing even if you came i don't get no views you mean i'm just here trying to help you all out but y'all here for one thing and that's you know just uh everyday talking about the xbox series s so that's spot series that's right there's three new consoles the x the xbox series x the xbox series s and then the x no and then the uh the ps5 and the ps5 um digital edition that's the same as the regular ps5 there's no like differences in tech nothing like that but me every day every day went with the xbox series s as the day-to-day console even though i do have a ps5 it is a little bit of a situation with that my roommate and i we went half and half on it so it's in the living room and i was just like fine if it's half and half i was just i didn't really want to keep dragging it back and forth so i picked me up a series s um the series s is the most common console that you can get look you can buy is i think the re the resale over like the resale price for the series is about 50 bucks over the retail so i think you can get it around i'm just recalling from last night i was gonna make the video last night but then something came up i've been seeing them for like 370 350 and the console was 299 in the first place you're gonna pay tax so if you run tax in it i think tax is about 20 bucks after what i paid for this uh because i did get my retail this is about 20 bucks um 20 or 25 bucks so you're paying only 15 bucks over what you normally pay to get a serious ass re resale it's not bad whatsoever it's the most it's the one you can get the most i'm not sure why no one wants it well i know i don't want to want it because i will get into that later but it's the most widely available console and that's a plus now um we'll get in i'm just gonna i might jump everywhere after them if this is just a regular talking about this i'm not a tech youtuber i'm just trying to tell y'all something because after watching some of the videos it's it's some things that they're missing for the everyday person at least some people and i'm gonna knock those things out right now so let's talk about the console itself all right the console itself is small its dimensions are small i have two water bottles here because you know i stay thirsty the console itself is about so you see where my finger is that's how ah a little bit closer that's how big it is um i would pull it over but it's actually plugged in which is why you can see it behind me it's small it's really small um it comes with this controller comes with this controller right here right comes with this controller um i just want to say the console has a lot of pluses in the minuses plus right it's small it's portable i take it with me multiple places um i'll take it with me my internet's kind of trash it's good enough to play games but it's horrible to download them but my brother who has his own apartment he has fiber internet so whenever i need to download a game but i need it right away for like a playthrough on the channel i just take it and put it in my back i i'm actually kind of butt naked so hold on all right i'm hopefully i cut that right and you didn't see anything but i put it in this bag right here this one y'all it's not big it's not a duffel this it goes in this bag right here you feel me this one right here everything fits in it does not fit a tv but if you do get a small size monitor so like a 10 inch monitor just to bring what you want to go do you still have one of those then i broke it but it it'll go it'll fit um but if i do when i bring a tv i got like a 15 inch tv i'll put it in a bigger i put in a nike elite backpack and y'all hoopers know which ones that is but yes it'll fit inside that bag right there everything cords controllers i got two controllers so if there's two controllers in there with it um out of the get-go there's a lot of it's just a lot of pluses and we talked about the size and stuff like that the console itself when it comes to tech is less demanding but everyone's telling you it's not bad like it's worse um like it's just like a third of computing power yeah it's a third of the computing power but for the everyday person who just left a regular xbox one s or xbox cbr or ps4 slim or just a standard ps4 bro this joins phenomenal like i'm coming from a standard ps4 which majority 25 million people are coming from a standard ps4 and i forgot what the number was i think it was like 15 million people coming from a cvr or uh or 1s the xbox one x the 1x has does 4k you can't even do that the 4k on the 1x and the siriusx they're different that you can tell like levels of 4k like they just step that 4k level up but this one this right here does 1440p the xbox series has this 1440p now i want to say this right i want to say this because i want to say it one more time this console can do 1440p and i'm i'm emphasizing this because the everyday consumer has a 1080p i have a 1080p or 720p screen those are the most common cheap tvs out there you know your family says hey you tell your family hey i want a tv these are all the kids but they're gonna go get they're gonna go get the walmart onn tv could be 1080p could be 720p you don't know it's going to be it's going to be cheap it's going to be cheap you can't even how can i say this you can get a cheap 4k tv but it's not going to be worth it that's what this comes and i'm going to tell you why um especially if you get like a ps5 or xbox series s i'm gonna tell you why uh a little later on but in general it does 1440p now in order to get this 1440p you have to go to settings you got to go to uh where is it tv and display options and then you gotta turn off um auto you gotta turn off the uh the auto capture because it just does it to 1080p right now i have plugged in my elgato so i can't change it um since refresh hurts well i can but it'll just go back in 20 seconds because you won't be able to see anything because i'm plugged into it i gotta but i do have a monitor that is uh 1080p 144 hertz but if i put it on my 4k tv it'll go to 1440p uh 60 hertz but again doesn't go to 1440p that is phenomenal 1440p if you're coming from 1080p or 720 is phenomenal even me looking at my tv screen right it's over there it's 4k i enjoy the 1440p um and i enjoy it at 60 i look i enjoy it um so yes that's that's a thing and then you can change it to 120. now let me tell you this right your eyes right your eyes are gonna love 120 hertz okay they're gonna love it every common household right has a they may have a 4k tv but the majority of people have a 4k tv have a cheap one i know i do i know i picked up a 4k tv that's 60 hertz from walmart that was 228 65 inches i know it's cheap there's levels to 4k televisions if you get yourself an expensive one it's great but you could get yourself a cheap 4k tv like i have in my corner for the same price you can get yourself an expensive 1440p monitor that can run 120 hertz the best thing about these new consoles is not the resolution no sir no man the best thing about these consoles is the refresh rate when you play a game in 120 hertz i'm telling you your jaw drop you'll get a nosebleed like an anime and your pants will fly to the left and the right they'll just rip down the middle and get the going like that bro that is how good higher effects race is it does not matter if you're playing a 1080p 144 4k it does not matter all you need is a high refresh rate all you need more pixels more images being shown on screen your eyes can tell that within an instance and you're going to love yourself for it and you can get that for 2.99 with this console when you put on a 1444 uh p image 1440p image you're going to tell the difference after looking at a 720p of 1080p monitor like the majority of the world has you're going to love this when it comes to 4k i already i think i missed it already it can't do it but does this 1440p image look amazing on a 4k monitor that most people have in a house of course 4k tvs is like 500 off the get-go that's just entry level 4k tvs majority people have them you can't get over 60 hertz on those so i would suggest if you're gaming you know if even if you're the average consumer and you're just going to play on a tv this console will do you justice because tvs have upscaling what else do you want what else do you need now we talked about the resolutions real quick let's talk about something else we got the controller right boom bada bing bada boom the controller um i'm not sure how we all can see that but just know we got a new controller we're going to talk about it compared to the new xbox the older xbox controller the regular one the standard one um is it better it depends if the new one's slightly smaller the deep kind of said your hand might get a little weirded out by being slightly smaller but i can't tell the difference i don't have the biggest hands i don't i'm not out here having kawhi hands i'm not going to tell the difference but it is out the package slipperier even though it does have better grip you you should say um but yes the overall the controller is better um it now has a share button on it which is a plus it now has a d-pad reminiscent of the elite controllers which everyone loves you can lead controllers but am i going to pay 180 you're probably not going to pay 180 just deep and dipping your feet in um the uh controller itself is smooth there's now there's like textile on the triggers now that little smooth trigger you felt before nah textile you can you can really feel it it does come with double a batteries just like the old ones but it is now usb type c there's usb type c on it i'm not sure if you can see the usb type c usb type c you can use the double a batteries um i say that's a plus because you can get yourself some very good rechargeable batteries that last you like three four years you know if i come from ps4 and the controllers die after six months bro that's so bad the batteries are so bad so i don't mind them giving us the option to put our own batteries in some people say hey i don't want to do that just put me a battery in there and the battery wears out and they just plan for an hour at a time and they keep it plugged in they don't care but it is what it is me myself i opted out to get um the nikon rechargeable battery uh pack now it's not bad it isn't it does what it needs to do it lasts me about i say a week at a time of me playing um i have it in all three of my controllers i plan on getting a fourth but i want that to be an elite controller i'm trying to find one on sale comes with batteries swap out 15 get yourself a battery now when it comes to the next gen experience right the next gen you know feeling there's there's a few things that it comes with better load times uh well specifically coming from the new consoles better low times games now xbox doesn't have new release title games but they do have a library that's crazy i'm coming from playstation my library over there is brazy i'll i'm telling you right now i'm doing this review i am going to get myself a ps5 my own ps5 but i've i've played i'm i've played spider-man i've played all the playstation collection games i've played them but is it the best deal if you just want to play one or two games alright cool like if you really want to play those games at the moment even though you'll be able to get them for cheaper later on and when the console is more readily readily available go ahead run out there i throw 1800 but if you want to be a smart guy that's like an everyday consumer you're going to rock out with the s5 series s their library is extensive within a month of me having this console i have these games and i think the only games i've paid for is bioshock well i paid for the bioshock collection which was ten dollars gives me four games um everything else is kind of just free game pass and then xbox live gold they were free this is a lot of games that are free ea play like that bro it's so many games i'll also play the spyro because i wanted to go gameplay on that and then when it comes to that right apparently you can get xbox game pass which is a three month subscription you pay 15 usually for three months every three months you get whatever new game comes out blah blah blah um right now it's a dollar so you buy the console for i guess let's just say retail price of two no 370 350. you spent another dollar you get an assistance library of games now i'd say over the fact that pia playstation plus only gives you one free game and it's still a old game i think this month you got shadow of the tomb raider um while xbox gives you an extensive library is a big plus the newest game coming out that you get for free which is for the next generation consoles is the medium i have that currently downloading but for other games i do have other uh xbox games i did have um cyberpunk but we already finished that y'all can see it on the channel if you're new you're gonna watch it go ahead oh i forgot to talk about the console being all digital it's not as bad as it seems it's not i'm being honest with you it's not as bad as it seems the xbox one s was all digital and a lot of you guys had it like that it's not bad it i'll honestly tell you with all the sales they have it's wonderful but if you're coming from a if you're coming from already having this on on the alley if you're coming from the xbox library and already having this just go get that just spin the 300 or whatever and get the x just to make it more just easily just easy for you but if you're not coming from that if you're coming from a small library and you're also coming or you're coming from ps4 this will still do you well so we talked about that now let's talk about the um the quick resume say right here right so i think last night i was playing gears of war with my girl he loves gears if it's not my reason i mean i get it it's nice we play gears five now we're doing the entire series so we're going from one to four just to catch up and figure some stuff out because i don't even know this is my first time on xbox i have never played i've always been on playstation here right you go in the gears this this is how it works you go into gears right boom uh is where i left it off i'm in here i'm playing this is this is where it is this is actually how it goes and i'm not going to play this part because i hate this part so much there's this guy over here i can't kill no matter what and he just keeps killing me every time every time [Applause] say say you know we're right where we left off i'm just load the last checkpoint so we're in the middle of a game um so boom we're here where we left off i want to go down to 2k where i was playing before i click it i only got to tap the xbox button once i click it it loads um now i just want to say about load times because this is quick resume when it comes to load times it only works for games that you were already in a game with so if you're just in the menu um i think i closed this app yesterday but we're going to load this um this that's how quick resume is when you leave a game and then you can switch games and they use the and they use the storage already built on the system to save that game where you left it at it it comes in handy sometimes i'm telling you it comes in handy for the common player it comes in handy when it comes to games like 2k your load time is not dependent upon your console neither the xbox or ps5 is dependent upon your internet speed and right now is messing up so by the big by the boom it's going to take a little bit but you see how i'm in another game watch this i'll just go down the gears of war ultimate edition click it and just y'all can count how long it takes me to get back in this game it shouldn't take too long honestly see the quick resume up in the in the top left right corner that's what i'm talking about that was quick easy painless smooth i dare i might say it was effortless but i forgot to talk about the story so we're gonna do that before we actually dip out of here um let me go to the storage real quick um storage devices so the console comes with i think 512 gigs you only get to use like 480 because um you got to put the ui on the console and then you got to have space in order to use quickly zoom quick resume is basically the game saving where you are and it can go up to five games um but on the series s you'll probably only get around three games being saved because of if you have new generation games click resume does work with older titles so like it works with xbox one title some p it some xr360s depending upon how big the game is depending upon how many questions you can have but i know on xbox one x you can have up to five on here you'll get up to three based upon the amount of storage you have uh but yes so you get around 480 to use i myself have the storage expansion card which you can use with the ssd that you plug into the system no i did not look i don't suggest you pay 219 for the storage i don't especially since i told you guys this is usually to get your feet in so if you're getting your feet wet you're only going to use it for about one or two years and about around that time it's not going to be still not going to be that many games it's going to be good a good amount of new generation gains but not a lot enough to the point to like to really say go ahead and spend 219 on a memory card but let me just say mine it might have somebody you know i bought it off the internet somebody might have got it off a truck so i mean i'm not tripping i'm just glad it ain't fake so it didn't come from me that but yes i have the expansion which is 219. so that gives you actually one terabyte of data uh one terabyte of storage there's other options for storage expansion um but i just want to say if you're getting it now and you're dip that letting your feet get wet for one or two years into this new life and until you upgrade your your stuff to actually appreciate 4k 120 because when i tell you when you get 4k 120 on you're going to need to upgrade your peripherals until you upgrade until you upgrade your peripherals go ahead and get this get this it'll it'll do you right um but yes you're gonna you're gonna need to have a little bit of storage especially for right now one to two years because you're gonna be playing some older titles you're gonna be playing some free games like fortnite pub g um valerant things like that so those are some big games it was like 75 gigabytes but they're old games they're older games are going to be around for a while you can put those on ssds not ssds on hard disk drives the stores you can put on the xbox one x and ps5 you well yeah one x and ps5 ps4 sorry those those are cheap now you can buy them on facebook for like 40 bucks people are done with them because they they have new consoles like hey this is good with my old console they're not knowing that they can still use it you can use those if you want to buy brand new you can get it for like 70 bucks you can get two terabytes for 70 bucks the loading isn't as fast from those but you do get a lot of storage um it's because it's the hdd s um ssd drives are a lot faster it's not because the the console itself is just the fact that ssd is faster than hdd and which is why they have um ssd drives on the new console just because it's faster even if i didn't have the expensive card every game that's not xls would be on my hdd drive simply because um simply because there's no reason to have it like there's no reason to have that on there if you can't save um xss games on a hdg drive so you only put it on the internal so anything older just put it on the hdd drive it's like 40 bucks you'll be cool now guys i i want to emphasize when i say the collection is extensive i know we already went past it but i got to reiterate this because i'm a kid man i'm a guy i'm a gamer at heart but i'm a guy coming from the everyday lifestyle and i'm still kind of living it i mean i'm grown up and i'm better now but at some point i never had a cell phone i had to share consoles i couldn't afford multiple games at a time so i was only playing 2k and then another game because i love basketball so i was playing 2k with my one game i got on um on christmas and then i got another game on my birthday so i was only getting two games a year now as like this is a phenomenal thing is it for a kid remember if you're a parent even if you're not a parent if you're like me and you're one of those guys that could only like as a kid your personal only gives you one or two games or even if you only got one game a year because you just couldn't throw the bread out like that so you was like one of those parents that just played fifa in your free time and you know it's fine it happens but now on this console you have options you got options you see them behind me we have tons of options anthem i'ma tell y'all stay away it's it's booty cheeks i look it's trash but you have options you have so many options to play games some of them are phenomenal like bruno paradise remastered the reason why i played on ps3 when this came out i couldn't afford it i think i was in college in high school i was playing one-on-one for honey buns bro like i was broke i definitely couldn't buy burnout remastered i think it was like 50 bucks i couldn't do that i can do it for free now i don't got to spend whatever the price is now that is old it's free it's trusting on ea play then there look bro look at these tons of games like the games are just crazy do maternal one of the best games of last year i wasn't on xbox so that's a brand new thing for me i'm just saying man if you dragon age inquisition that's one of the best games of all time man look i'm telling you the games they're crazy they're wet like there's way more games to play for free well not for free you gotta pay 15 bucks but 15 bucks for 100 games is way better than what the 12 free games they give you on playstation it's better it's i get it i have it i can actually go against the two um but this is what i chose for my daily for my daily game playing and it's been doing well for me and i know it will for anyone so i mean i'm just going to quickly go into the outro i just want to say there's three things i wanted to say this council well who this clowns was for this console's for the everyday person it's for the it's for the uh the regular gamer the one who does not have time to uh to play games for like 12 14 hours even though i'm i do youtube i only play after about four hours at a time because then i got to use the other like another what hour hour and a half to edit because i can already see the video after recording where i want to stop and cut and i'd stop talking just to i'll edit where the audio is but still i'm just rambling i know i don't do this on the regular this is just me trying to help you out but the concepts for the everyday person who does not have time who does not have all the money there are countries out here who aren't as you know they just can't beat the u.s like they don't have as much bread and this council will get them in the window now the console is also for the people who did not get a ps5 this christmas or on launch day because bots you know you feel me they they bought them all out they took them and they tried to charge you 1700 1400 anywhere in between there don't do that don't ever buy from them don't do it unless it's asked by serious ass because basically paying 20 bucks more it don't matter but otherwise don't buy ps5 for 1700 i'm telling don't do it you're just helping them you're just giving them the incentive to keep doing it and it's not no don't do it get your feet wet get your feet wet get in here experience that 120 hertz on the free games and then also experience you know just experience a good time experience 1440p before you hit 4k hitting i had i had 1440p and i got a 4k tv a little bit later i appreciate the fact that 1440p doesn't look that much different from 4k it doesn't it actually looks better when i throw that 120 hertz on it looks amazing and then the last person that's four everyone i mean if you don't mind switching from ps4 to xbox get it if you're one of those guys that just want to stay with playstation or xbox it's fine stay over to the playstation side i'll be with you sometimes you know we play a couple games um i think i would play over there i play i play cod over there i play cold war on ps5 just because i like the uh the haptic feedback on the triggers makes me feel like i'm in the trenches um it's it's for everyone man and i'm not really sure how well this video is going to do but this this is me just everyday player telling you guys how it's been and just putting some some details i'm not a tech youtuber i'm just supplied gotta play video games and i hope you guys enjoy the insight from a guy who just enjoys playing video games man and wants to do it for a living but yeah i'll see y'all next time um i don't think i told you to keep your hands and feet inside the router at all times but still i think you're already getting just all the guys that's already been here y'all can go ahead and take them out i played it with my girl um i got her a uh xbox and 1x on on facebook she's playing it on a 4k monitor she's mind blown i'm playing on 14 um 1440p 60hz i was mind blown i put it on 1080p 120 mind blown this game if you do decide to get it down make this the first game you play even if you even if you already played it make this the first game you play 120 hertz with the ray tracing that the the that that's one of the new games bro it's phenomenal it's ridiculous it's crazy but yeah that's it go ahead get take your snaps get your drinks get your hands outside the ride go ahead and walk
