now I don't want the makeup artists and the aestheticians to get your panties all screwed up because I don't do anything the way you would want me to do it I'm sorry I just can't I tell them that as a very young child I was exposed to a ritual see I performed this miracle that's why Christopher got into this business he watched this miracle happen every morning and couldn't believe [Music] [Applause] [Music] the foundation I use and I love it feeis estee lauder see this little spot here who is a brown spot and I took it off and so now it's a red spot my fingernail kind of razor thin you open boxes use that to take the little milk Melia away but I do have a little razor thing that I'm supposed to use but it doesn't break as well make sure your ears are done and inside your ears because there was a time when my son said you want to know what mother's skin really looks like what color she is look at her ears the powder are you in a zest a louder that's really Foundation and powder like this now it's a little darker but I like mine a little darker I don't want to be as white as I am now [Music] I like a little more color than that in coverage and you want of course go down your neck depending on what you're wearing so then I put the blush on and I think that's very important it gives dimension and color otherwise you look really blunt do that first before you do other things yes I want the canvas ready okay before I can do the rest Apple up and a little bit around it's sort of like you think of where the Sun would hit you then I'd also do my notes because I don't know that gives a nicer look to me see I have no upper lip as we get older that's what happens that disappears they always gave you proud oh yes I just don't understand that well and it's difficult because this side of my face is a little higher and no matter how hard I get try to get these even I often often am not even this side is higher than this side oh my lord now this one's a little dark I used a lighter one sometimes I want to steal that and when you got lines on your lip like that don't go cross go down I use the liquid Revlon color that works for me [Music] there's something about waking up in the morning and still having a little lip as many of you know I don't take my makeup off at night sorry girls I just don't I don't want to look like hell with the person I love the most going to bed so it's on until morning then I clean it all off and start my eyebrows or don't grow down here anymore so I have to make eyebrows I use a Veda because I love this color it's sepia and it seems to work for me the eyebrows are the expression of your face so they're very important and they usually fade and disappear as you get older think about those little faces that you draw the circle faces and then you put the eyes and nose on and then you do the eyebrows you want to show surprise or anger or crying or whatever you just don't want them too close and too heavy that you look mean I don't want to look mean even if your natural brows go kind of around like this don't do that learn to go out a little bit because if you go around that's going to make you look really droopy and I set that and it also lightens up if I get them too dark I can always lighten them with a little powder me because my eyes are so far apart I put the shadow in rather than on the outside so much I do it here too but it's primarily here dan came and of course it's 1968 it's mabeline great - they've been using this for hundred years if we use my mascara as an eyeliner as well as mascara and it is waterproof up under and kind of rub it in [Music] always a nice q-tips Andy and never ever put a dry q-tip in your eye to take an eyelash or anything up my goodness my eyelashes are really gray no wonder that's the other thing we lose ladies as you get older the eyelashes fade and gets shorter for a lot of us and then you die so I might as well do this until I die a layer of mascara on [Music] instrument comes on I don't use an eyelash curler as often anymore because my lashes are pretty sure I like the cat eye and not a lot because I'm wrinkled now and it doesn't it doesn't do the same thing as it used to but a little bit because my eyes are so small this gives me a little more eye and I can whip this out in 20 minutes you know when nobody's watching just a little bit here gives you a little bit of lift and opens my eyes a little I do a little more mascara if I was really good at it I'd put the lashes on but I'm not going to Christopher's gonna do it they're just fun to do once in a while there was a time when I did some modeling at Dayton's and I had Claremont every morning kind of modeling was selling men's cologne that kind of modeling but the hair event probably impressed me the most because she had long black hair ecology here one leg hair which start out with a a metal-to-metal teasing [Music] rushed into this another powder yeah this is the powder double wear powder ivory beige or something still pink give me a second to get it right oh I didn't know you were working on this this is let's just try this over the top [Music] too much lipstick what gotta be softer it doesn't have to take this long I think I can do my makeup in 20 minutes without without the lashes to risk Elan and trouble snow yeah exactly right [Applause] [Music] that's Jo Ann Hopkins my dad no [Music]
