Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
So it's a good alternative for almost 1/3 of the price. I think he was a little harsh on it
i thought he would love juiced board, i mean it has the word juice in it
He was ridiculously unfair to it in his final conclusion. In the test it seemed a bit slower and took longer to stop than the Boosted, so yeah it's not quite as good overall...but it costs 1 fucking third of the price! It seemed really good considering that. I mean if the Boosted board didn't exist there's no way he would be trashing it this hard.
Edit: However the fact that they went for the exact same look/design as the Boosted was stupid, I guess that might have rubbed Casey the wrong way a bit.
One thing he said in this was super interesting. Paraphrasing, 'This is not vandalism, please don't show up at my house or office and try to arrest me.. Again'.
I think it would have been pretty decent if they just went for an own identity rather than trying to look like Boosted Boards Chinese cousin.
It's like when all Androids tried to look like an Iphone before they realized "Oh, shit, people just want decent phones, we can just do our own thing instead".
Despite the less then enthusiastic review, juiced put it on their front page.

I think creating products that clearly look like a knockoff is ineffective and a sure way to disappoint. Honestly, I wish they just posted honest specs comparing it to the boosted board in terms of top speed, acceleration, etc. with their own design and identity and then listed the price, many people who don't want to drop 3 Mckinleys would totally take the tradeoffs and purchase.
Says he couldn't safely ride the Juiced board in NYC because of how inferior it is, yet has no issue using a regular foot powered skateboard. Just a wee bit of over exaggerated bias there.
TIL those boards of him are way more expensive than I expected.
