guys do enjoy today's video then be sure to give this video a like rating now if this video is able to hit over 20,000 likes then that would be amazing not gonna lie also let me know in the comments how many of the facts that you didn't know by the way guys this December I will be giving away 5 minecraft account gift codes and all you have to do to enter is follow me on Instagram that follow me on Twitter and then retweet to giveaway tweet the details for the giveaway can be found in the description below but anyway it's enough of me rambling let's go ahead and get straight into today's 40 things video I hope you guys enjoy it when the campfire was first added into Minecraft the texture looks like of this back in the earlier days of Minecraft in the beta days of the game there was a feature where if the player slept in a bed then there was a chance for either a zombie or a skeleton to wake you up and begin to attack you and I have to say this feature was extremely annoying you can obtain the grass block glass a campfire and many other blocks instead of getting dirt or nothing when holding a silk touch enchanted book in your hand when creating a Minecraft world each end portal frame block in a stronghold has a 10% chance to generates with an eye of ender already placed in it this also means there is a one in a trillion chance for all 12 end portal frames to generate containing an eye of ender meaning the end portal itself will already be activated in the stronghold upon creating the world this allows the player to skip outs the nether section of the game to defeat the Ender Dragon before version of beta 1.8 chests in Minecraft used to be a four-block which meant they merged in with other bugs in a very satisfying way the chests also didn't have an open and closing animation which was a bit weird it is more efficient to smelt items in a furnace using a block of coal instead of using a knowing coal this is because a block of coal can smell up to 80 items in a furnace whereas using nine coal can only smell up to 72 items in a furnace a fishing rod will take a double the durability damage if it is used on land see a piston or sticky piston can push up to a total of 12 blocks in Minecraft if you try to push 13 blocks well they're not gonna go anywhere because the piston won't activate you can create a pretty cool optical illusion by using furnaces so if you place three furnaces in the corner like so then it gives off the illusion of looking like one weird furnace which is very strange indeed you can also do the same with chests in old versions of Minecraft because as mentioned before there used to be a full block so again place three chests in a corner like so and once again it looks like one weird chest in the upcoming Minecraft 1.15 update all food items are now able to be eaten by the player in creative mode and don't worry guys this does include cake I'm glad they made this change because I'm sure creative mode players get hungry as well anyways moving on the ender dragon when killed for the first time by the player drops a total of 12,000 expirience which totals up to a whopping 68 levels now that is a lot of XP if the player respawns the ender dragon with end crystals then the dragon will always drop a base amount of 500 XP when killed which totals up to 19 levels the first ever minecraft logo was added in version in dev on the title screen and it looks like this as you can see it looks very different and it is made out of the cobblestone texture which looks very weird the cobblestone minecraft logo was changed in version alpha to look like this having an animation of the stone texture falling down in order to form the word minecraft a full 64 stack of coal blocks will smelt items in a is for a total of fourteen point two hours or 42 minecraft days to do this the player would need 576 coal or nine stacks of coal which is a lot the higher the difficulty you play on the better the accuracy of a skeleton's arrow will be so if you're playing on easy then the skeleton will miss at most of their arrows but if you are playing on hard then they will hit you nearly every time I swear skeletons have aimbot on Hard difficulty they are so annoying anyways moving on when creating a new Minecraft world in the more world options holding down the shift-key will reveal a secret well type known as debug mode this well type is an empty world that allows the player to view every single book in the game which looks really cool to be honest if your nether portal becomes deactivated excuse the pun in the nether then a ghost can reactivate the portal for you with their fireball as of the minecraft 1.14 update you are able to share wool from a sheep by using a dispenser just simply place shears in the dispenser putting sheep next to it activate the dispenser with redstone and there you go it shares it for you this is really useful for those who want to make a wool farm back in the earlier days of minecraft multiplayer mob spawner z' would always show a pig on the spawner even though it was a zombie spawner or skeleton spawner for example which is a bit weird the motto and textures used for the horses in Minecraft are actually based on the horses from doctor's orgs popular minecraft mod known as the mo creatures mod a more known fact if you hold shift when placing a chest next to another chest then you will instead have two single chests instead of having a double chest in the survival test version of minecraft sheep used to drop a brown mushrooms upon death at which the player could eat as a food source to gain two hearts of health and back in the earlier days of Minecraft before release 1.2 mobs actually did have a proper pathfinding system which meant they would often get stuck on walls if the player was behind one this was because they won't get programmed to walk around obstacles which meant creepers could be hiding behind a wall as you walk past it jump scare you then explode and kill you which was horrible if you look very closely you will notice that the brown mushroom will emit a barely visible light source of one that's right guys brown mushrooms emits light when the Ravager mob was first added into Minecraft in 1.14 they were actually scared of rabbits as they would run away if they were within a few blocks of them however in a later version of 1.14 this feature was removed the feature of spiders being able to climb up wolves is actually the same code used for the players being able to climb up ladders take a listen I want to change something made is that the spiders in Atlanta waltz the use of nad Rafi yeah yeah so yeah spiders are essentially just climbing invisible ladders it is impossible to destroy the nether stop with any form of explosives so you can spend as long as you want attempting to destroy a nether storm of TNT there ain't gonna happen back in the earlier days of Minecraft before beta one point a lighting was a lot less smooth when transitioning from daytime to nighttime this meant you could literally see the light changing in stages getting darker and darker which always used to creep me out when I played back then did anyone else feel the same let me know in the comments breaking a log from a tree in the survival test version of Minecraft actually gave the player three to five wooden planks instead of the log itself which meant you were able to obtain more planks since you only get four of them when using a log in the crafting grid so yeah if you were lucky you could get five planks from a log as off the Minecraft 1.15 Update 5% of Cal's sheep pigs and chickens will now spawn as their baby arians the baby pig or piglet is just so cute look at it man on top of that in Minecraft 1.15 there is a 10% chance that wolves llamas and horses will spawn as their baby variant as well baby wolves are just adorable I'm going to name them Henry and Angus be a trivia for you guys that the same names as my two dogs in real life prior to the beta 1.8 Update food was not able to stuck in the game which was extremely annoying for some players when ladders could be climbed with a one block gap between them players created a structure called a water ladder allowing players to climb to the top a lot faster the structure consisted of a water source block being placed beside each ladder and the ladders themselves being spaced one block apart and as you can see you can climb up very fast back in the earlier days of Minecraft in beta 1 point a andaman used to burn in sunlight this was fixed in version released 1.0 but yeah I found that pretty weird obsidian is one of the hardest blocks to destroy in Minecraft whereas obsidian in real life has a glass-like texture and is quite fragile and easy to destroy cobblestone takes slightly longer to mind than regular stone the player that purchased the one millionth copy of Minecraft received a special cape as a thank-you and it looks like this so there you have it guys that was 40 things you might not know about Minecraft be sure to let me know in the comments below how many of the folks that you didn't know last anyways guys thank you all so
