338 Lapua vs 50 BMG vs Running Engines

oh it's got gas in it [Music] well that mower doesn't work anymore i guess i'm gonna have to go find another one so [Music] crap what's up guys my name is scott and you're watching kentucky ballistics before we get started i want to say thank you to our patrons who support us over on patreon it wasn't for you today's video would not be happening now i have us two push mowers we're going to crank them up we're going to shoot one with a 338 lapua and we're going to shoot the other one with a 50 bmg so we have a savage 111 long range hunter chambered in 338 lapua and we have a cerbu bfg50 carbine chambered in 50 bmg and the ammunition we're using today these are some 338 lapua 250 grain full metal jackets made by lapua and for the 50 bmg we have a silver tip api here's your size comparison real quick here's the 338 lapua and it is a very large rifle cartridge but when you compare it to a 50 bmg it looks kind of small by the way i forgot to mention i do have a fire extinguisher out here just in case now let's go crank up our first mower and we're going to start out with the 338 lapua [Laughter] shut her down with one shot clear well it looks like we should have aimed a little higher we hit our deck then we hit the engine and then we blew out the side right here okay we got the next mower running let's hit it with the 50 bmg uh we're clear let's go check it out looks like it's smoking we knocked the blade off we went through the engine and managed to break the shaft and that blade was still spinning so i chewed up the dirt when it hit the ground where we got down here i don't really see any pieces of bullet i don't think i'm sure it just shattered let's look at the engine so we hit right there let's flip this thing over man look at all the damage it did to that motor you have a huge crack right there goes all the way down and it's busted all through here on the bottom you can see right into the engine man and i don't know if you can see it or not but it's right there that's where the api hit and broke the shaft see it used to it used to be connected there and that api hit it and broke it off that is impressive no i'm not just going to leave this oil on the ground all better well that's it for today i had a lot of fun and i hope you enjoyed the video be sure and give it a like a share and subscribe to the channel if you're a new subscriber make sure you hit that little bell at the top it's going to give you notifications when you upload new videos i want to remind you if you're interested in a serbu bfg50 mention kentucky ballistics on your initial call and serbia will give you 100 off your rifle that's good until labor day of 2018. be sure and check out kentucky ballistics clothing and check us out on patreon facebook instagram and twitter links to all those are in the description down below or you can swing over to kentuckyballistics.com there you'll find all our social media all our sponsors and any kind of discount codes we have again my name is scott thank you for watching kentucky ballistics and i'll see you next time you
