Liberty Safe Torture Test 🔥

i bet we made it through that time [Music] [Applause] what's up everybody my name is scott and you're watching kentucky ballistics and i'm super excited because today we're going to have some fun with this national classic select liberty gun safe this holds 25 guns it's gloss white it's really pretty and i feel bad about what we're going to do to it so i've seen a lot of people torture test gun safe they've dropped them they've shot them and we are going to shoot it do some other stuff today but one thing i haven't seen done is it tested against fire you know a lot of these that's what you want you want a high fire rating this one is rated for 90 minutes we're not going to get it 90 minutes in a fire but we are going to blast it a couple times with some napalm with our xl18 flamethrower now before we do that let me show you the inside really nice gun safe this one actually has automatic lights we had electricity you know they would have come on when i opened the door the door is 3 8 of an inch thick holds 25 guns you got a lot of cool pouches in here and i've put two shotguns in here for when we tested today just to show that this safe is going to protect against the fire at least i hope it does because i like these shotguns a big thank you to liberty gun safe for sending this over to us i've been wanting to do this for a long time so it's so awesome that we actually get to do this today and that's enough talking let's blast this thing so we had a little bit of trouble mixing up the napalm i didn't read the instructions so this is what happens supposed to dissolve this with some alcohol and i didn't so it's kind of chunky and i don't want to run it through the flamethrower so instead i'm just going to dump it around the safe and maybe we can get some good heat going around it oh yeah see it's just one big chunk i don't want to shoot that through the flamethrower you can just kind of soak the ground around it a little bit looks like a big jellyfish [Applause] that looks good to me all right let's let it rip oh my god yeah she's definitely getting hot that's for sure these rocks are crackling from it being so hot so it's been burning for a while now and the side here you can see is actually kind of discolored where it's really heating up on that side these rocks are super hot they're crackling they're so hot from that napalm you can see some smoke coming out around the door if i had to guess it's probably the plastic seal oh no the plastic has melted around the key i hope i can get that open okay let's go ahead and put this out the rest of the way and try and open this thing a handy dandy fire extinguisher [Applause] [Music] i didn't know which way the wind was blowing i do now i'll cool off the ground a little bit so don't melt my shoes oh that is hot that water is sizzling on the ground i can feel the heat coming through my shoes oh oh man when you're in business okay it should open oh that's hot whoa whoa that's hot whoa that plastic seal did exactly what it was supposed to do it melted sealed off the safe [Applause] man it looks like though i may have sprayed some diesel fuel in through the cracks but that's really not fair because normally unless someone's burning your house down you're not gonna have diesel fuel propelling into the creases of your safe regardless that's uh that's awesome the condensation on those guns i don't want to touch them those are probably super hot wait no dude that thing is cool to the touch but look at the sweat on it but yeah that gun isn't hot at all and that one this one here was right on the wall where it was most hot over here and that one's cool to touch too that's awesome wow that's hot i feel like my shoes are melting okay well our safe held up really well it's just not gloss white anymore now we've got kind of a a black finish going so i want to hit it again with the flame thrower but what you got to understand is this time it's not really going to be fair for the gun safe because this plastic piece right here this melts and then seals your door shut and that's what keeps fire and everything else from getting inside your safe so now when we hit it again with the flame thrower really this safe is at a disadvantage because it's already done its job you know it's it's already spent but i'm gonna shoot it again with the flamethrower i brought some more diesel so why not yeah here we go see if our day lock feature still works oh yeah that's impressive i can't believe that the the writing on there didn't burn off i think that's about it yeah and that five quick oh there we go nice okay is it gonna well i don't know up that lock is hot don't look at my combination okay nope so we had the seal originally right and that seal melted and helped to protect the inside of the safe right well this is what happens when you don't have that seal our door is melted when that was not melted before it was not that way we lost a whole pocket but our silicone's okay and then down here at the floor we can see that this burned all up on the inside of the safe here's where my guns were and they were untouched before and i'm glad we didn't put them back in there this time i'm smarter than that but you can see all this damage so this safe did a great job when it was fully intact and good to go but that just goes to show you you know how important that is that seal around that door that's amazing and we hit it with diesel fuel that time just diesel there was no napalm around the bottom if we put napalm around the bottom and then hit it again probably all of this would have been just burned up and melted that's nuts so we know this safe is fireproof now we're going to see if it's bulletproof so this door is 3 8 of an inch thick and then we've got some steel in the back too i think we're gonna be able to shoot through the door i've brought some pretty heavy firepower let's go ahead and load up and get started all right we're gonna start out with nine millimeter i have my new frontier armory kb5 chamber of nine millimeter if you haven't seen this gun it's got my logo on it it's super sweet [Applause] we didn't really do much anything to the door didn't even put a dent in it all right the nine millimeter didn't do much so let's try 10 millimeter this is a crisp vector 10 millimeter this is actually a pistol and it's got the pistol stabilizing arm brace that is side folding it's pretty sweet and we have 33 round mags we're gonna be loaded up with just three rounds of underwood ammo 10 millimeter 155 grain full metal jackets uh i don't think i hit no i did i hit really high all right now low that's all over the place i got to get this thing sighted in regardless that's pretty sweet okay well we've got to hit here one here and one here this actually has a little bit of a dent and the nine millimeter it didn't dent it at all okay we did nine millimeter and ten millimeter now we're going to do 45 and we're gonna use this auto ordnance tommy gun that is chrome plated it is absolutely beautiful honestly i think it's too pretty to shoot but we are going to shoot it i couldn't tell where i was hitting from back there but i'm not used to those sights but we did hit the safe here all right next we're going to use the desert eagle and we're going to be loaded up with some buffalo borer 50 ae 350 grain full metal jackets oh my gosh two rounds let's go check it out well you can definitely tell which ones are the desert eagle hits so this was 10 millimeter and this is the 50 ae and there's a pretty good dent there okay the desert eagle put some pretty big dents in that safe so now we're going to need to step it up a little more with the 500 smith and wesson magnum this is a smith wesson performance center with a 10 and a half inch barrel and we're going to be loaded up with some underwood ammo 440 grain hard casts that's a lot more kick [Laughter] okay so we managed to get both shots right next to each other and there's a big difference between these two dents and the two from the desert eagle okay i'm sure most of you have seen a desert eagle and you've seen a 500 magnum but now we're going to shoot it with something some of you may not have seen before this is a magnum research bfr it's got a 10 inch barrel and this is chambered in 450 marlin this is ridiculous this is a buffalo borer 400 grain full metal jacket let's see what kind of dent we put in the safe with this oh my goodness so ridiculous good inspiration well i thought that was going to put a bigger dent in the safe than the 500 magnum but i was wrong there's one hit and you can see there's a big difference between the 500 magnum and where the 450 marlin hit and then here's our second hit and there's actually some of the jacket pushed into the safe okay that's gonna finish up the pistol calibers now we're gonna move on to some rifles so we've got an ar-15 chambered in five five six and we're topped off with a yankee hill phantom suppressor this rifle is capable of full auto now we're not to blast it full auto just yet we're just going to shoot it like twice and towards the end we'll do some mag dumps well i figured that that was going to shoot right through that safe but it did not we've got some pretty good dents but we still have not made it through the door okay we shot the safe with the ar-15 and we did not make it through it so now we're going to try the ak-47 and yes this one is also full auto if you watch full auto fridays you already know that but we're not going to chew it up just yet we're just going to shoot it twice and see what we do i really thought the ak was going to make it through but it did not we got some pretty big craters in there i would say that's the deepest we've made it into the safe yet 556 didn't make it through the safe and neither did 7.62 by 39 so now we're going to step it up to 308 we have an fm score 17 and we're topped off with a yankee hill nitro 30 suppressor this thing is just absolutely ridiculous [Applause] man that's pretty quiet with that suppressor on well it looks like we finally made it through the safe we have two holes from the 308 see if she opens oh yeah so we've got a hole here and should be a hole through here we just can't see it because of these bags but did it come through yeah there's a hole right there so there should be no it looks like that one this three alright round stopped and then this one came all the way through there's the bullet right there oh that's hot the 308 made it through the door but i want to try to make it through the whole safe so we have a serbo bfg50a and we're gonna be loaded up with a pure incendiary round actually two of these and we're gonna see if we can cut through that whole safe oh my god oh well i think we hit our lock uh it came back up here at us all right so we took two shots our first hit is right here and i'm sure you saw the big flash and you can see where it burned this handle and then our second shot we actually hit the lock and it flew all the way back there about 50 yards back and rolled up next to us so it's a good thing we had some distance in between us i'm wondering if this thing will still open we don't have a hole in the back i figure it would have went all the way through but it didn't so i guess next we're gonna have to hit it with an armor-piercing incendiary tracer and see if that'll go all the way through but first let's see if it'll open i don't need the keys anymore because we blew through the lock like i said it was unlocked so oh nope nope yeah we broke something because that's just loose but i can hear the bolts aren't moving so it's locked up so i'm really surprised we didn't make it through the safe so we're going to try one more time and this time we have an armor-piercing incendiary tracer and an armor-piercing incendiary round it is smoking it's coming out from around the hinges then we make it through though so we made it through that time both times they came through sideways but we did make it through the safe so on a day like today when i'm filming and i have several rifles out with me i don't want to lay them on the ground and i don't want to put them in and out of gun cases it takes too long hold up displays was nice enough to send this over to me it's super handy so if you got a minute be sure and check them out i bet we made it through that time well the full metal jackets did a pretty good job too we got hole here there's a hole there a hole there and it looks like this one tried to come out but just didn't have enough okay so we made it through the safe with the 50 so now we're going to chew it up with our full autos we're going to start out the ar-15 then we're gonna hit it with the ak-47 now let's hit it with the ak well we hit it with 30 rounds of 556 and 30 rounds of 7.62 by 39 and it doesn't look like any of them made it through the front door we just made a lot of dents we've done a pretty good job at beating up this safe we let it on fire we've shot it well when we shot it we locked up the door we can't get back into the safe well i really want to get in there so what we're going to do now is try to rip the safe in half i thought well we could just try to rip the door off but let's do things a little differently so we've cut four holes in this safe two on the back and two towards the front we've run two lengths of chain through it we're gonna tie it to a tractor and see if we can rip this thing open like a sardine can so so trying to rip it open like a tin can did not work we were gonna try to rip the door off instead but it's really hard to cut through that door so we're just gonna do this oh man that is one tough save well i had a lot of fun destroying this
