2021 Thor Gemini 23TW RV Tour

hello everyone i'm jason i'm elisa and we are eecc travels and guess what we did we bought us an rv [Music] we're going to take you on a tour of our brand new 2021 thor gemini 2023 tw let's check this out this is our gemini 23 tw built by thor that is all-wheel drive it sits on a ford chassis that's an ecoboost v6 it has 310 horsepower 400 foot-pounds of torque and it is turbocharged this thing for a v6 will get up and go i can promise you i've been driving it all around and it really has got some pickup for for such a small engine and it gets pretty decent gas mileage typically between 11 and 14 miles per gallon is what we're seeing so far and what we're hearing about all right so right here we got a couple of 110s all right so if you want to plug in your tv or your grill or anything right here we got some storage storage bins for your chairs and tables all right this is just the vent for the refrigeration unit that's in there so it can vent this is the exhaust for the furnace all right down here this is our onan 4000 watt generator this baby's a beast this runs off the same gas that the coach runs off all of so here's your quick connect for your propane so you can so you can hook up a gas grill or something and sit out here fry some hamburgers or whatever when you're tailgating or whatnot just want to hang outside and grill all right all right so here's the back of the rig this is just uh plug in a trailer or for your lights you do have a tow hitch and i believe it's it tows up to 5 000 pounds right here is your on demand tankless hot water heater and this is your sanitation flush this is for your black tank you can flush it out just to give it an extra cleaning when you're done camping and you're ready to go home we are eecc travels and if you don't know about our we're going to be posting a lot of videos about rving you know we're rookies so we're going to be new at this yeah so obviously you need a ladder to get to the roof this is just the ladder to get to the top we have a 15 000 btu air conditioner on the top we also have a 100 watt solar panel that's constantly charging the battery so that's super nice and we also have a wine guard wi-fi booster it's like a built-in router on the roof which is cool because we're going to be doing a lot of vlogging and we're going to be doing a lot of working from our rig so we're going to need wi-fi constantly all right so we went ahead and unlocked all the bins for you i'm going to show you the storage areas here this is where we keep our water hoses and just various things that we're going to be using that we need to camp it does have a light so it can be illuminated at night time so this is our outdoor shower so like if you're at the beach you're dirty you don't want to carry that in the inside you can rinse off here before you go inside so which that's really cool all right this is your freshwater connection this is your city water connection so you this is where you fill your freshwater tank up if you're gonna go boondocking or whatever um if you are camping you got city water connections that's where this will go right so this is our drain outlet this is where our sewer connections are all the connections to drain our gray tanks and our black tanks you know we gotta drain the pooper and it's also storage for our uh hoses for our black tank okay right here is where we hook up our electric so this is cool so if you're somewhere where they have cable hookups you can actually hook cable into your rig and get cable tv all right so a little further down here we got some more storage all right this is where we keep our wheel chocks and our tool bags always carry a tool bed levels leveling blocks ropes various things that we're packing with us but nice size storage compartments there are plastic it's not carpet in there so it's not going to get tore up or anything in there all right so this is where our propane tank is it holds about 68 pounds of propane i think it's a 16 gallon propane tank so this is our slide out which you can see we have it in right now it also has an awning that slides out with it to protect it from debris and leaves and whatnot like that it's very nice to have and we'll show you that in just a little bit it has frameless windows throughout the entire rig which is nice because you can open them up even when it's raining so that's cool all right so this is where you get your gasoline right here which is super cool because nobody can siphon your gas in the middle of the night steal your gas so that's cool nice big roomy area to get in here and hop up in the cab and drive this thing off all right so now we're going to show you the awning check this out so all you do is come to the control panel and just retract it you can hit it one time and the awning will come out automatically [Music] and it is armless so there's no arms hanging down and in the way which is super cool and it also has led light strips on both sides and there you go all right so now we're going to push the slide out so you guys can see what it looks like on the outside the full wall slot all right so now you guys can see how much of a difference that full wall slide makes that's how much more living space you now have inside the coach all right here's what it looks like with the awning out and the slide out [Music] [Music] all right also on this rig we got stabilizing jacks so you just come to the control panel one touch of a button stabilizing jacks go down you have to do one at a time all right time to go inside and do the tour we'll come on in all right you ready to do this i'm ready let's go all right so this is the cab buckle up no i'm kidding we ain't going nowhere but i might have to buckle up so it'll stop beeping on us anyway this is the cab it's it's just the cab very comfortable seats it's got like this i don't know what they call this leather but it's very very comfortable it's got arm rest lots of cubbies in this area we got cup holders over here we got cup holders over here we got compartments over here we've got all your controls on the steering wheel so you can control hands-free all back here is all these cubby areas you also have usb and a 12 volt here so lots of nooks and crannies that you can stuff anything you want in them also up here lots of storage you can see we have a lot of our camera gear up here already and then there's even more up there but we'll show you that later alright so i got my phone i'm gonna go ahead and plug it in show you how the apple carplay works there you go so anything um well i get a lot of missed calls uh so you can see any all your apps that you have on your phone are right here so you can listen to stream all your music um you have maps you can listen to music and have your maps all at one time or you can have maps full screen if you want ac and your fans all right right here this is very very important this is obviously your rear view mirror but since you don't have any windows and you can't see behind you you have to have the backup camera so we got a backup camera that stays on all the time as soon as the key is in the ignition that camera is on all right so i'm over here in the passenger seat and you can see there's a lot of room over here i've got plenty of leg room i'm sitting up high very comfortable um i have cupholders here cupholders there there's compartments down here compartments up here very user-friendly cab space um huge i love this because look how big these are yeah it is huge fun yeah there you go that's a nice feature i enjoyed those on the ride home from the dealer yeah absolutely and getting in and out is easy just pull up your arm rest slide out and i can very easily get in and out so if jason's driving and needs something out of the fridge i can jump up go to the fridge get something and then get right back in cool all right all right so now let's take a look at the inside of the coach we have the slide out so we can see how big it is in here and at the end we'll pull the slide in and show you what it looks like with the slide inside when we're on the inside of the coach perfect what's cool about these seats is you see these things hanging off the back these are booster seats so these chairs swivel around and become part of the living area and then you put the booster seat on them and it pops it up so all right so to spin them around lift up the armrest slide it forward a little bit get this little spin lever around and then bring it on back so you can lean back and chill and you can put it forward if you want i've gotten pretty good at it because i've done it several times and this right here you will latch around nice and snug so it stays on there it hides all the nylon and you're sitting very comfortably so now you can just sit back and it's part of the living area now all right coming in from the coach you've got a nice grab bar to come in and out there are no extendable stairs you've got the two stairs coming up so i like that that's one less thing to worry about um here is the control panel the control panel does everything it turns the lights on and off it opens the slide retracts the slide the awning the jacks everything is controlled right here from this panel super easy turning on the uh generator you can do that from here turning on the heat you can do that from here and also cool thing is there's an app on your phone that syncs to the rig and you can control everything from your phone that you can from this controller so basically that control panel is on your phone and we've actually laid in bed and cut the lights off and did everything from our bed from the phone which is super cool so the tv is above the door and it is easy to view so whenever we bought this we first thought oh gosh how are we going to watch the tv we've just got the dinette it actually is very very easy to watch this tv from the dinette and um yeah it is we thought it was going to be a problem at first it's absolutely not an issue nope not at all and there with with the wineguard antenna on top you can pick up local channels so anything that's broadcasting locally you can pick up we have also added a fire stick to our so we can stream on it and there's a blu-ray player hooked up which i'll show you in a minute up here is tons of storage all the way around we've got a lot of things that we hold up in here that keeps items out of our storage bays outside this is very convenient yep lots of space we've already started putting stuff in it over here is a charging port so you've got two usbs that you can put your phone and you can charge them right here we also have all of our remotes in this little area also check out the skylight the skylight is so cool and it's just easy as pushing a button to close oh look it's coming down lisa yeah so if you want it closed you can close it we like keeping it open oh yeah the touch of a button okay this also does come with a curtain so you see these little velcro knobs right here there's velcro all the way around and there is a curtain that comes with it for privacy so at night you can close this put your curtain up close your blinds and you've got complete privacy okay all right here's the kitchen area so in the kitchen we have this nice big sink that comes covered the cover comes off and you can see how big the sink is and this faucet comes down and it's got a sprayer on it so that's really nice and it's a really nice pretty faucet as well it really is nice countertops too very nice pretty countertops this is great because it doubles as a counter space it sure does okay we also have our stove so you open this glass top up you've got a two burner gas stove really easy to ignite and this runs off propane let me show you how easy it is that's it folks that easy all right and when you're not using the stove you just lift up and close down and then you have more counter space here as well so we have a heat shield up here above the stove to protect the cabinets we have these lights here and then also there's a switch and watch up boom we have up lighting all right let's look at these cabinets first off love the color of these cabinets i love the light decor in this motorhome it's a very small 23 foot motor home but it feels so big because of the coloring yeah i believe it's ivory coast yes that's what it's called all right inside the cup cabinets plenty of space these are adjustable shelves but we've got you know everything we need in here and it closes securely [Music] closing securely down towards the bottom we have the big cabinet here we have a trash can and broom down here and then we've got three drawers nice size drawers this is a microwave slash convection oven so you can bake in here so inside it comes with this if you want to bake you use this piece if you're not if you're just using the microwave it's a standard microwave but put this in and then you can put your pots on top and bake in it and then a really big storage bin down here as you guys can see we've already started stuffing it yes and these cabinets are well made they're solid wood we're really gonna cook in here guys yes we are we've got this refrigerator nice size refrigerator this is a three-way refrigerator so you can run it off the batteries you can run it off electric or you can run it off propane up here this is a pretty neat little feature um remember i said a blu-ray player we've connected a blu-ray player in here it splits to both tvs so we can if we want to watch a movie in the bed area we just switch the hdmi to that one or right now it's hooked up to this tv and then jason has also installed a levelmate pro which we'll talk about that later that's going to help you level your rig very easily and quickly but a nice sized storage storage bin up here all right down below huge huge drawer that will hold pretty much anything you need for your kitchen and then a nice deep drawer here which is big enough to hold a keurig yeah that's what holds my keurig very important coffee is important guys and then this is the furnace so um in this unit we can run off heat pump or furnace the furnace runs off of the propane okay and so we were talking about ac this is a 15 000 btu ac unit it's also a heat pump and that's our alarm going off [Music] okay all ducted air up here you'll see the air ducts or you can flip the switch and do an air dump we also have three fans this is the one in the kitchen and it is recommended anytime you're cooking to turn this fan on we really like this because it this unit will cool off very quickly if it's hot outside and it will warm up very quickly if it's cold outside yep all right this is what they call the dream dinette this is big enough for four people to comfortably sit here um this coach will ride and or sleep for people there are seat there's a seat belt here and a seat belt here we just have them tucked away so if you have four passengers two will sit in the front seats and two will sit here there are cup holders for whenever you're in motion as well these storage bins up here are huge so you can see how deep they are they go way way back and then on this side you can see i've got it organized with bins so this is what we're going to use for our pantry so we'll just be able to pull out and you see how deep that bin is and it goes all the way back and they are very heavy cabinets we also have up lighting here we talked about these being frameless windows all you do is twist this out and it pops the window out and that's your emergency exit window as well yep this also makes into a bed so this would be sleep two children comfortably we have two teenagers and two teenagers can fit on here are they super comfortable no but guess what this is the camper okay you also have storage down below storage drawers on either side yep okay so this is the bedroom area as you can see the bed flips up you're gonna flip up your bed for two reasons number one you've got the seating area right here so when you're getting dressed in the morning the bed comes all the way out so when you need to get to your closet flip the bed up you can sit here put your socks and shoes on etc um you can actually sit here and watch tv if you want to when the bed is flipped up or when it's time to sleep just release it and the bed comes down it's a full queen bed very nice it's got an actual headboard very comfortable too i will say we've slept on it at the dealership we slept on it spent the night and uh to inspect everything make sure everything was working and it's very comfortable it is a very comfortable bed very soft memory foam i think elise is going to swap out all the bedding done i am i'm going to customize our bedding a little bit but you do have a nightstand on either side so there's cubbies down here yeah for storage you have usbs and one tens on this side of the bed and a window and a window the same storage compartments that you have with dinette you have in the bedroom as well huge huge storage bins got a fan back here too yeah as well so if you have good weather if it's you know spring and fall where it's just a nice uh temperature outside you can open your windows turn on the fan and it circulates and you don't have to run your exit it really feels like a fan it does work very well we've put it to the test you also have a privacy curtain yes this is a privacy curtain so if you do have your kids with you um and they're sleeping on the dinette you can close the bedroom area off sweet and what's that big old mirror behind you okay i really love this number one this is a closet but number two i love that the mirror is here because it makes the coach feel even bigger it really really really does that's really cool and you can look at yourself when you when you first wake up in the morning pull the latch here pull this back and you have a arm that comes out so your clothes are going to face forward and you've got a his side and a her side or plenty of space to hang lots of clothes i mean that's i can hang as many clothes in that closet as i can my closet in my bedroom in the house well i don't know about that but you can hold a lot i'd say that would probably hold 20 hangers and you can fit a lot in there there's the tv so in the bedroom area you have a 28 inch tv um again same thing you can pick up cable channels for through the wine guard we have added fire stick to this one as well and also we have the blu-ray player so it's got hdmi ports that we've added fire stick to one and the blu-ray to the other also below the closet are nice storage drawers you've got two on either side and they're nice-sized drawers and this and the bottom one's even deeper than the top one and then talking about storage underneath the bed are three more big drawers yeah all the way down yep and then how to put the bed up you just use that little bungee cord right there and it just latches that's it yep so all you do you push it up grab the bungee watch and there's a hook right there boom okay down here is your fuse box we're not going to go into details on that it's your fuse box it's a fuse box get some extra fuses just in case lots of fuses okay now let's go look at the bathroom welcome to the bathroom okay so this is actually a nice size bathroom for a smallest unit that this is so come take a peek a little bit we have a cabinet here a sink and a cabinet below and in the cabinet is lots of shelf space i've put some little storage containers in here but you can see how much storage you have you have a hot cold sink very small sink but all that you need you've got two 110s you have a fan in here and the light switch you have a storage container below you can see how large and how much storage room you have potty more there are three cabinets in this little bitty bathroom that blows my mind and in here we have towels shower as you can see it's a decent sized shower if you're really we're i'm 5'4 so of course i have plenty of headroom so if you're tall you've got this piece that that little skylight there but it's a very nice size shower you've got your faucet here and see it's got the switches where you can stop the flow so when you're taking a shower if you're trying to conserve water you can just flip the switch and it'll stop the flow right here is the controller for your tankless hot water heater and you can control the temperature on this and it is unlimited hot water so especially if you're hooked into city water and have an unlimited supply you can take nice long showers and you'll never run out of hot water all right so let's try the toilet it is not china it's plastic less weight and it has a flip flush and i think that the toilet paper dispenser is located in a very nice easy to grab spot so that's nice and my feet don't dangle i guess you got to be pretty short for your feet today i'm pretty sure so but uh plenty of room as you can see i mean i'm not a big guy i'm about five six if you're a really big person you might have a little issue but we're very comfortable in here as you can see shoulders aren't rubbing plenty comfortable all right this is kind of like your foyer sort of your entrance into the rv and we had some wonderful friends of ours scott valerie gauche made this for us thank you guys for that i got a 110 here this is your solar charge controller lets you know how many volts you have this is your main battery on off switch for the house this is your fire extinguisher right down here you got a latch this latch just pop this latch right here and underneath here is the battery compartment all right you got a screen you want to leave the door open let that nice cool breeze come through but you don't want a mosquitoes you got your screen there well that's our rig guys okay so we're gonna pull the slide in and show you what this motorhome looks like with the slide in all you have to do is come over your control panel go to [Music] slides and click retract want to make sure that your bed's up and there's nothing in the way and hold the button down the whole time the slides come in all right watch the space get smaller guys [Music] and that's it all right so this is what it looks like with the slide in you still have plenty of room to walk through here to get to you can open the refrigerator you can get to the bathroom you can open the microwave not that you can use it but you can um you can come and sit at the table so especially if you've got kids with you you know you can get to your children if needed um so yeah this is a definitely good working space with the slide in season you see you can get to the bathroom no problem you can slide in there and out yup no problem at all come out and i can walk back to my seat so yep yep so this is what it looks like with the slide all the way in when you're
