5 Class C RV's Under 25 Feet with a Murphy Bed

five classy RVs under 25 feet with a Murphy bed that solved three huge problems in our RV [Music] hi guys Mike here from RV blogger in front of the camera and of course Susan's behind the camera and today we're gonna be talking about five RVs that have Murphy beds and they're under 25 feet long and they solve three big problems that we have in our RV if this is your first time here to our Channel welcome aboard we make lots of videos about all kinds of RV related issues and we also have a website called RV blogger.com where we literally have hundreds of blog articles all about our ving as well today we're going to be talking about five Class C RVs that are under 25 feet long and they all have a Murphy bed and we have run into three big problems in our RV and as some of you know we're kind of thinking about selling our RV and looking for something different and the three big problems that we want to solve all have to do with the bed in our current class C RV so as you can see behind me here our bed is sort of jammed into the corner and there are three big issues that we have with it number one is it's really super hard to make the bed you have to literally jump up on the bed sort of make the bed from that side out it's very difficult it's very inconvenient Susan doesn't like to do it at all so I end up making the bed all the time so that's problem number one problem number two is the bed is always a bed so we are wasting all this space in our RV when we're not sleeping in it we can't use it for anything else and we would love to be able to have other space in our RV we have a 24 foot Class C RV so it's really just the dinette the bathroom the bed and the driving cab we would love to be able to use this space for more than one activity which would be sleeping and then the third problem with this bed is since it's jammed into the corner Susan sleeps on that side I sleep on this side but every time she has to get out of bed she sort of has to climb over me to get in and out of bed it's you know it's not ideal if one of us has to go to the bathroom and all the night so we want to try to have a bed where we could get out from either side and not disturb the other person so today we're gonna talk about five different Class C RVs that we found that are all under 25 feet which is good because you can fit into a lot of camp sites you can get into a lot of national parks we really we really want to stay under 25 feet if possible and all five of these RVs have the Murphy bed set up which we think solves all three of these problems and we'll see what you think big kick out of that too so stick around we're gonna start our reviews now so this is one of our favorite Class C RVs that we found here at the show today this is a Tiffin Wayfarer 25 footer and the really cool thing about this particular classy RV unlike our RV is it has a Murphy bed and so what it does is it opens up the whole entire RV and you know you don't have a bed set up 24 hours a day you only pull your bed out when you need it so the way it works is these cushions come off and then there's a little button over here you have to be careful with these little legs you have to actually grab them and put make sure they're down securely this little piece drops down and then the rest of your back just comes out so it's kind of cool the Murphy beds kind of a neat thing the other nice thing about this Murphy bed is two people can sleep in bed you can get out separately without waking up your partner if you hit the bathroom at night someone negative to this though is that there is a nice window behind here but you only have access to the window when you're sleeping so you don't really need a window when you're sleeping I'd much rather have a window available in here all the time but you can't have everything so the one big advantage is you get all the extra floor space in here now one of the ways tiffen has used that floor space is the bathroom in the back which is phenomenal you get a huge full bathroom the whole width of the RV in the back so it's got a separate shower plenty of room on the commode so really decent-sized bathroom in here and then of course tons and tons of storage the whole entire right side of the RV is full of cabinets another thing we like obviously you get a fridge with a separate freezer very important and then the kitchen area gives you tons of cabinet space I like how they have the cover over the sink nice deep round sink and then the dinette area works really well for two of us so you know this is really not not bad at all it's pretty comfortable fit good sized RV this also turns into a bed so you could put another person here and then of course it has another bunk on the over cab with a TV up there the only thing I might do differently is since your couches back here most of the time I probably would want to have a TV across from the couch the only TV in here is this one over top of the over cab so they do include a ruff in for a TV and this cabinet so you could actually end up putting one in here but I think your TV might be like inset into the cabinet you'd have to work out how to how to fit it in there but we like the idea of this RV the whole entire side slides out so it gives you more space we like the Murphy bed so you have more space for a couch you don't have a bed in here when you're not using it and all in all it's a really good size classy RV another one of our favorite Class C RVs with a Murphy bed is the Winnebago view this Winnebagos 25 feet long and a couple inches extra but as you can see it has a great feel when you walk inside it just feels so big and spacious and that's partially because this whole entire side slides out by a couple feet so that helps to open it up of course the Murphy bed takes the bed away so you only have a bed when you need it which is great the kitchen area is really nice I love the fact that they have a dark cabinet with a light countertop that combination helps to make things feel bigger also they have these boat latches on here the way these work is when you push it it locks so it doesn't come open on you so that's kind of nice nice big double sink plenty of room in there to stack up your dishes and of course nice big TV for lounging and watching TV range it's got an induction and a gas or propane powered nice big fridge so pretty nice set up really nice it's got solar power which is fantastic if you're out there boondocking that comes in nice and handy and the bathroom in the back is really a good-size bath takes up the whole back of the RV so the Murphy bed itself is a is just a nice feature the way it works just pull these pillows out and then pull your bed rests out and the only thing I don't like about this is the switch to lower the Murphy bed is in the bathroom but it's right here so it's not like it's too far out and you want to hold this a little bit because it'll hit the ground pretty hard it doesn't have rubber stoppers on the bottom either it hits the hits the floor pretty hard but you get a nice sized queen-size bed here so the front half of the view is really is fantastic as well beautiful over cab area plenty of room for I don't know two people could sleep up there pretty easily the dinette also converts into another sleeping spot so really you end up with about five people they could sleep in here pretty comfortably you could probably squeeze it to six they also have these pieces that pop up and I don't think they're for sleeping but if you want to lounge two people can lounge here and then easily watch the TV so that's kind of a neat set up I kind of like that and the other the other thing is that both of the front chairs can't swivel and round so you have extra seating inside so the Winnebago view is really a pretty nice class CRV I have to say it's it's one of our top five here at RV show this is another fantastic Class C RV that's under 25 feet this is the BT cruiser by Gulfstream and it features a Murphy bed it also has a bump out area or slide-out I should call it but it has some really really cool features when you walk into this living area what I really like about it is whether you're sitting on the couch or laying in bed right across from you you have your TV on at elevator this is awesome and then just below that you have a nice fireplace so nice cozy coach this thing is really really nice the kitchen area looks fantastic I like the fact that it's a 90 degree kitchen it kind of gives you more counter space to work with three burner stove oven for a pizza which everyone knows I love my pizza comes with a microwave and just a fantastic setup nice deep Bowl sink really big Gulf Stream has done a really nice job with this design and I really like it decent sized fridge and even a really nice-sized freezer as well and the bathroom in this particular model was in the back of the RV but it's really a nice bath it's a dry bath plenty of room in the bathroom one of the bigger bathrooms that we've seen and what I really like about it is the bath vanity is actually outside the bathroom so someone can be in the bathroom taking a shower or whatever somebody else can be out here getting ready at the vanity plenty of storage cabinets the front of the BT cruiser in this particular one has an option to get cabinetry in the over cab area so you have some extra storage space it's a little bit disappointing because they didn't go very deep with it but that's okay I guess it's extra storage I would probably just get the over have and still use it as storage anyway but fantastic roomy amenity filled Class C RV that's under 25 feet this is really a fantastic model so the airstream Atlas is another classy RV with a Murphy bed that we really love this RV is only 25 feet long which is another criteria that we're looking for and it has this Murphy bed area that serves both as a couch and you can put your feet up whoops if I hit the right button you can put your feet up or you can make a bed while you're sitting here which could be nothing but trouble you can watch TV while you're doing it but everything in here is just such high quality it's just fantastic the Murphy bed itself comes out nice and smooth I like the ones that are electronic they're there of others that we've seen today where you have to manually pull them out not quite as nice and she pops right down so as you can see you can use your living area both as a living area when you have it in the sofa position or you can make it into a bed save yourself some space in your RV so when you're finished with your Murphy bag you just go ahead and put it right back up easy easy the other great thing we really like about the airstream atlas is it just has a lot of finer touches in it it actually even has a wine cabinet which is pretty cool you can put a few bottles of wine in here pull this little pin out it'll spin around for you so it's really kind of kind of over the top this is the more foo-foo type of classy or v I would say the kitchen area is more of a corner style kitchen so they made the kitchen pretty small but being a corner style I guess it helps to maximize the amount of counter space that you have obviously this goes over top of the sink this goes over top of a trash can and you can pull that trash can out every now and then some of the RVs that have a setup like this actually have a door on the outside that you can empty the trash can from but not this one but it's still very nice nonetheless the refrigerator is pretty good size separate fridge and freezer which we look we really like and then of course it's got a microwave overtop the bathroom is huge I mean this is really really a nice bathroom one of the nice features is this clip that holds the doors together but you know pearl I always like the glass doors better than the curtains but it's a very nice look as the teak wood in the back which really makes it stand out very very beautiful brushed iron fixtures or bronze fixtures and it has tons of storage space and the nice thing about the storage space is that there's a light in all the little cabinets can't beat it that's actually a cedar closet so far as I'm concerned the airstream Atlas is a very very high-end classy RV with a Murphy bed that's under 25 feet we really like this model so this class CRV with the Murphy bed is a Tiffin Wayfarer model we have another Tiffin in our top 5 choices of RVs that have Murphy bed but the one thing we like about this particular model is that it has an upgrade so instead of having the dinette they actually put in some theater seating so you can be very comfy and pull out the seats and watch TV and all that good stuff so we really we really think that's a great feature how much time do you spend sitting at your dinette anyway it's the way we see so but it's very similar to the other model the other model that's that's in our video as well this one also has a Murphy bed and I'll show you how it works real quick we really like the Murphy bed because like we talked about you know you know just don't waste space having a bed in the RV Sun all the time did that then I look like it scared me so there you go let's put this up and see how much space we save really really easy to to handle which is nice there we go so now you can see how much space you save when you put the bed up now we have a nice comfy couch not wasting space with a bed in place 24/7 we can use this to work we can use it for whatever we want it just is a really nice space saving
